Beautiful course and at just $40 a round, it’s even better! The elevated greens add a fun challenge, and the par 3s are a blast to play. Greens are in excellent shape, and while the tee boxes were firm, it wasn’t anything crazy. Overall, a great experience—I’ll definitely be back!

I haven't played golf. But I have been there many times to repair, replace or setup computers and printers.

Most times I get something to eat while I am there. Their chicken wings are the best in the area. The kitchen is clean. The food is great and the staff is friendly.

If I ever take up golf this is the place I would go.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner for our son and his fiancé at the club and it was the most wonderful time! The staff was so accommodating to all of our needs and made planning so easy and fun! The food was delicious! We had so many compliments from our guests on what a fabulous evening it was, and I felt so stress free knowing that the staff had every detail covered. They treated us like family and I would highly recommend them for events and private parties!!

I became a member at country view golf course a few weeks ago and it has been amazing. I had my first lesson with coach Mike yesterday and it was the best thing I could have done! I only wish I would have done it sooner. He has a wealth of knowledge and was able to help me with my swing. After just a few adjustments he had me hitting my driver straight and further than ever! I look forward to practicing everything he has taught me, and will be following up with another lesson in a few weeks!

This is an excellent course for any player to enjoy. Beginning and intermediate players will develop an excellent short game as the greens are elevated and interesting. The driving range stretches out to 300+ yards and you'll be hitting off of turf. The course is under the care of an excellent superintendent with obvious pride in his craft. Fees and memberships are beyond reasonable. In all, an superb golf value with plenty to challenge the average player. I would be remiss not to mention the excellent staff in the pro shop and grille, and the teeth-cracking temperature at which the keep that post-round beer.

Played 6-7-2024 after a month of rain.Course was in as good of shape as any I’ve played in the last few months.Fairways perfect Greens were a little slower than I’m used to but were pure.I read the reviews before I booked and many people complained about the staff.

This course is not good for the average golfer. Any team that was behind us didn’t take the opportunity to come up and asked to play through. Instead they called the pro shop to complain. The employee from pro shop wasn’t understanding of the issue that was going on. It took an act of congress to get them to give us a refund for the back 9. This will be the first and last time that we will go to this course.

Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were fast and challenging. Pace of play was abysmal. Our round was nearly five and a half hours. We were told multiple times the pace would pick up but it never did. Brisket sandwich was drowned in sauce and just tasted like a bread and sauce sandwich. Wouldn't play again.

My step son and I had a great time at Country View this weekend. The GM Jonathan Nash is the example of how GM's should treat their guest. This is a great course layout and some of the best greens I've played in a long while. Can't wait to get back and visit again!

Big fan of Country View. Given the price it costs to play and the resources they have available, they do an excellent job of keeping their course in quality playing shape. The design of the course can be quirky at times, but you never get bored playing out here. Some holes are quite easy, and a few are impossibly hard (looking at you 2 and 17). Their GM, Jonathan, is personable, runs great events, and is always grateful for your business. Also, the beer is cheep for golf course standards and the burgers/fries are delicious. Check it out if you haven't been.

Our golf group has played at a large number of courses in DFW and Country View has become our go to time and time again. Firstly, staff and management are fantastic and welcoming. I always leave wanting to come back because of it. Then the course itself is well taken care of (especially during times where other courses get out of shape easily), a fun layout and challenging in all the right ways. Not to mention a great value. Will continue to be our go to course in DFW.

I’m going to do a comparison unbiased between here and Brickyard
Brickyard is far more interesting and challenging but the course is in horrible shape.
You really can’t putt on either course
One is burnt to a crisp and country view is trying to save theirs but until they do you are putting on sand and irrigation holes.
If brickyard could maintain their course it would be by far better
But right now country view is better. It’s at least playable until you get on the green

Would give negative stars if we could. Jonathan the “GM” is absolutely rude and condescending. Hung up the phone in the middle of a conversation. Kept interrupting and over talking when being asked questions. This is a shame. We have frequented this place for 30 years. And as of today, we will not be going back. To be turned away for wanting to rent 2 golf carts and being told they were all sold out. But had a parking lot of carts. They were not busy at all. Bad business practice. I would like to get in touch with the owners. If the owners are seeing this I hope you can get better training to your staff. This is an absolute shame. My son is in town and was wanting to golf with his grandfather and they had an extra rider. That is all. Tee time was scheduled days prior. They wanted to spend a day together before my son went back home. This is an absolute shame. Poor customer service.

Our church had a Christmas banquet here and the seating was AWFUL. The staff was nice but they get a 1 star for giving us those picnic chairs to sit in. A lot of different people was asking for a different chair to sit in because it was so uncomfortable.

The place is awesome. Very clean and the staff is friendly. They even have a room you can rent for parties with a bar. They have a great patio where you can look out amongst the golf course. Nice views very beautiful. Parking is nice as well. And the bathrooms were immaculately clean.

What a great track that winds through the South Dallas County forest-not a house or building in site! Super fun, with a number of holes that are really challenging. Course is also unique in that it has no sand traps. Found the greens to be in great shape, however a few of the tee boxes need work. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Pace of play on a Saturday morning was just over 4 hours. Will definitely play again!

Update 3/14/22 - Course conditions have improved over the last few seasons, greens look good. Coming out of winter, the course is dry and fast. Would love to see more grass left going into the dormant season, course is cut bare.

2019 - Course has gone downhill since change in management. The pride in the course is no longer there. Entire front 9 greens filled with weeds. Sad because this is the course I started practicing/playing on 6 years ago.

Will wait for the good reviews to start coming back before I return, hope the course can make a turnaround soon.

This course is about 25-30 minutes from Dallas. I played here on a Sunday afternoon and the course was in terrific shape. Very green and the greens were very well kept. A very reasonably priced course that is kept in solid condition. I would recommend this course to anyone.

The old man in the pro shop tried to charge full price for a rider (non player). When explaining the situation he said “well you wouldn’t go to six flags and ride the rides for free”. We then had a problem getting a refund and he tried to tell me he couldn’t give me a refund since it already went through. I’ve been going to this course for years but that guy is the wrong person to be running the pro shop.

Literally had multiple carts available. All I asked was to spectate the last nine holes of my brother-n-law group. Said the course was sold out according to Jonathan Nash who is the General Manager. I did check Golf Now and there is over 33 tee times available so I’m not sure how the course is sold out. Being that I run multiple businesses in the area as well as being Active in the Military I will never bring my business here again nor will I approach this course with potential tournaments. I have spectated at multiple courses around here on the weekend, tangle ridge, Mansfield National, Tierra Verda, Golf Club of Dallas, and Thorntree the list continues from there!

Wow!! Worst golf experience of my life. Their Marshall Michael rode along with us for FIVE holes even after we asked him to leave. He was playing music from his cart, and even picked up my ball without asking! The course itself is poorly maintained with tons of dirt spots. The greens are just amazing. Not sure how they managed to prevent damage frm the
ice storm but am glad they did. Love the significantly elevated greens; makes me
work on my short game 👍🏽. Also, staff friendly, helpful and organized. For

Very friendly staff especially the Marshall. Challenging and fun course with lots of hills, creeks, fast greens and water hazards. Take plenty of balls!! Don't be fooled by #17, you will have to sacrifice a few balls if you try to go directly over the water.

My son liked the fact that we could call ahead to the kitchen for hot dogs and fries from the 9th hole and Ms. Karen had it ready for us.

Now, if they could only help me fix my backswing that would be awesome!!

Very interesting round of golf. I booked at 12:30 pm hot deal tee time on GolfNow Dec 27th. I got there early and went to check in. There was several groups and singles waiting to tee of hole 1. The guys in the pro shop was not pairing groups up so it was a free for all out there. There were no carts out for the golfers. Two younger guys that didn't work there went into the cart barn and got their own carts. I followed them and got mine too lol. I contemplated asking a few people if they wanted to pair up but decided to head off the back nine. I didn't get to far until I ran into two other singles and we all played together. Then at the turn, the front nine had several people teeing off so I waited. Nobody would let me join or play through so it took twice as long to finish the front. The course was in decent conditions but I was shocked by their greens. They are super elevated ( the tallest I've ever played) but in great shape. Their native areas had a lot of trash in them. I get the feeling that it's a free for all at this course. It could take 2 hours to 7 hours to play a round. No marshals and no control from the pro shop. Good Luck!! I probably won't be back. Cool to experience the course and meet a couple fellow golfers.

The team at Country View was extremely pleasant to work with as we planned a group event. They were flexible with tee times and number of golfers. I’ve read the reviews and even heard from some that said the course was in bad shape. I disagree. It’s not in tip top shape yet but it’s definitely getting there. There were some patchey areas on a few of the tee boxes but nothing major. The course set up is challenging Along with the raised greens makes you think about every shot. Management and staff were friendly and made sure all my needs were met. I’ll definitely be playing there more!

This is by far one of the worst golf courses I’ve EVER played. First off, this course is in embarrassing condition. The tee boxes and fairway conditions are similar to hitting off concrete. Every green is elevated which I thought would make this course slightly more challenging and fun. False. The green conditions are equally as terrible as the fairways so it’s next to impossible to keep your ball on the green. The greens are also insanely sloped making putting a nightmare.

Stay away from this course. It’s complete trash. I wish I could give it less than 1 Star.

As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. Good layout for a course, but it is quite obvious there is a money issue: tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all well used. Almost every ball I hit needed to be moved so I had at least some grass to hit off. All the greens had lots of sand, still not sure why courses do that. I didn't use the driving range, but the grass looked well used. Unless you're looking for a cheap round of golf I'd recommend going elsewhere, atleast until conditions improve. I'm also not a great golfer, typically shooting in the 90s and I found the poor conditions not making the game any more fun.
