Our daughter had so much fun at this camp and couldn’t wait to go back every morning! The staff were also so supportive and caring for the kids, played games with them, and taught them outdoor skills like archery, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, and they even took them boating! Our only regret was that we only booked one week but have already promised we will book several weeks next summer for her to go to. Cannot recommend this camp and the staff enough!

My kids were at first reluctant to go. We had already signed up for various sports camps weekly and were initially more interested in those camps. But once they got their feet wet at YMCA camp on the lake, they loved it so much they asked to go back again. They met new friends, enjoyed a bunch of different activities they would not have experienced otherwise and enjoyed the outdoors. I highly recommend it to all friends and family

Good for older people or people who want to start working out and cant afford a super expensive gym. I wish there was more room and some more equipment weight lifting wise but it’s not usually packed with people so thats good. Not really meant for heavy lifting or maxing as it’s more of a gym to keep you active. Btw do not bang the weights that are on the bench racks when you use them for deadlifts and such as they could crack and it gives people that are there a bad impression of you. Overall it’s a good gym.

I had a very disappointing experience with your customer service. The staff seemed untrained and unaware of how to treat customers respectfully. It felt unprofessional, and I believe there’s a significant need for additional training to improve interactions with customers. I love the cross timbers location because even though they don’t have all the machines, they are brand new, it’s never super busy and the staff are great. They currently have a summer camp occurring so it’s much busier than usual but outside of the rare event, it’s clean and has everything you generally need. I’ll post more photos later the showers are private.

I have never worked out in my life and my body has become very weak BUT I love the different classes that are helping me gain strength and balance. The instructors are all very careful not to push us past our limits. The other members are VERY friendly, helpful, supportive and non Judgemental. I actually LIKE going there to workout. The staff is also very friendly and helpful!! Fine join us!!

Camp on the Lake is great value and old-fashioned outdoor fun! Cheerful counselors, lots of time in the water, classic camp songs, variety of activities. Wore my kids out and they had plenty of fun. I think it is a good lead in to overnight summer camp because they get an idea of what the busy, sweaty, carefree days would look like. They did an amazing job with requiring frequent sunscreen application, also.

My husband and I went in to look at the facility one afternoon, upon walking in, the front desk woman asked if we needed help. We told her we just wanted to check out the facility. She stopped what she was doing with the customer in front of her and said if you want to have a seat, someone would be with us shortly to give a tour. Well...we didnt want to have a seat because we were there checking it out, so we started reading the banners and literature posted in what appeared to be the lobby area. The woman once again paused with her current customer to tell us to have a seat again. Well we aren't young kids and we certainly don't pose a threat to the top secret business practices of the YMCA, so I'm not sure why she was so adamant about us sitting down. Neither me or my husband liked the way she paused with her customer
to just treat us like lower class. We decided immediately that the YMCA wasn't for us. It was in fact her un-friendliness and overbearing attitude that brought us to that conclusion. Certainly NOT the type of person I want running MY business.

Kylie is AWESOME! Great personal trainer and super great classes, esp the boxing class! Knows all about how to workout if you have ailments or injuries and personalizes your training for it. !!I LOVE HER!! Y is good, but Kylie brings them in.

After mailing them a check for youth soccer league, they cashed it without delay.... But after weeks of emails about not having enough coaches and then suddenly no communication what-so-ever I have to call them to INQUIRE about my refund. I wasn't prepared to hear that I have to take time out of my day to go up there, fill out paperwork, and then wait 2-3 WEEKS for my refund to be approved.... Approved?! What the f@*%# is there to approve?! Surely you didn't need any approval to cash my check for your coachless soccer league! Unbelievable!
