I am a wellhub member and made this place one of my go-to spots. Love the work outs here, good vibes, and training every time I go! The owner is a really nice guy and makes me feel welcome every time I come.

Went to this gym for 3 years and it truly felt like a second home. Phil, the owner, is an amazing guy, always welcoming, down to earth, and genuinely cares about everyone who walks through the door. The community there is super supportive — no ego, just good people lifting each other up. I made real friendships, learned a ton, and always walked out feeling better than when I came in. I miss each and every one of them. ❤️

Going on 2 years at Crossfit Heat and I really love it.
I've had memberships at almost every gym in town, tried every eating regimen out there, and also paid big bucks for personal training, but none of those attempts have given the results I've had at Crossfit Heat.
I would recommend it to anyone because I've seen results for many others that workout alongside me. Come check it out on Saturdays @ 9AM for FREE!

Dropped in using ClassPass, it was my first time doing CrossFit and the coaches are very welcoming and supportive. They work with you even if you’re a beginner and want to see you improve and get stronger. Everyone there was so welcoming too. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up a week later and I love it now. Phil, Cody, Derek and Eva are honestly some of the best coaches. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to join or just drop in.

Where to begin!!? I am traveling from out of town and needed a gym close where I was staying.....CrossFit Heat popped up and I reached out and jumped in! The owner and coaches are absolutely wonderful and welcoming, not only is the gym super clean the space itself is a really cool spot in a GREAT location! Got my butt kicked in there and I will be returning! If you're looking for a gym to join I highly recommend here!

Travelling can be expensive and visiting a local box can get pricey if you want to go every day. CrossFit Heat had an unbeatable price for a week’s worth of CrossFit AND the coaches and members were incredibly helpful and kind. Highly recommend!!

I needed a more strenuous workout than what some other gyms in the area provided so I signed up at CrossFit Heat. The gym is close to my workplace and has a 5:30 & 6:30 pm class M-R, a 5:30 class on Friday & a free Saturday am class. I scale the WODs to fit my ability and even though the coaches know that they still challenge me to lift “just a little bit more”! So no matter your ability, you can always get a great workout at CrossFit Heat!

Crossfit Heat is home for me. Very nice people, all levels and plenty of space! Workouts are fun and can be adapted to any level. The coaches are great and the atmosphere is fantastic! You can try for free and membership is pretty affordable compared to other places in town. Nobody will judge your level or abilities, you will progress from your starting point.

Wonderfull coaches and amazing place to do CrossFit. In a short amount of time I feel like part of a family. Coaches are really profesional and involve in your progress, and the balance between quality and prize is what makes me highly recommend this place.
Increibles entrenadores y un gran lugar para hacer CrossFit. En poco tiempo me he sentido como parte de una familia. Entrenadores profesionales y preocupados de tu progreso, y la calidad - precio hace que recomiende este lugar.

When new ownership pushes out the beloved and highly trained and successful weightlifting coach, this is generally a bad sign for the overall quality of the gym.

I specifically came to the gym for Jose, the Olympic weightlifting coach. I took a break and was going to go back to weightlifting when I was informed that Jose no longer coached there. It's a shame that a professional, Nationals qualifying, accredited coach is being replaced by someone who has less experience and education. I found this out the day before a competition, an inopportune time to release someone from the gym.
Why would you fire your best coach the day before a meet? I hear this is due to new ownership and if this is so, i suggest trusting your training with someone else.

I dropped in for a class while in Dallas for a week on business and would definitely go back anytime I am in the area. Coach Natalie was extremely helpful and the entire class was welcoming and supportive. They have everything you could need and my class even got to do the WOD outside because of the warm weather, which is rare this time of year coming from MI. Great gym for anyone in the Dallas area.

I love this place! CF Heat has really taken me out of a few 'comfort zones.' First, I started August 2013. I started 'just because' and not really expecting anything. I slacked off for a few months because soon after I started it was winter and there just wasn't any motivation. Then February rolled around and I realized that summer was right around the corner. I finally decided to 'show up' and work. I have never before experienced my body asking to go back for more. Every day when 5:30 PM rolls around my body knows its time to get it! Any time I don't go, my body knows its missing out. Its been nothing short of remarkable. I absolutely love this place simply because my body likes being here. The coaches really put us to work. Second, I've always been rather 'anti-social.' I don't make friends easily unless I've been drinking LOL. Shortly after I started 'showing up,' I realized that the majority of the attendees knew my name! It goes without saying that the coaches also knew my name. So this box took me out of my comfort zone because since people knew my name, I was forced to learn peoples names and talk to them. It's been strange; my body aching to hit and gym and my social skills improving at the same time. Excellent place. I highly recommend it.

CrossFit Heat is a superior gym. A strong statement, but one which manifests itself in the owners and coaches who strive not to get paid or train themselves for regionals, but to provide the best experience possible for each of their athletes. If you're looking for a place where coaches barely know your face, much less your name and the staff is more interested in their own goals than your progress then by all means, do not come here. HOWEVER! If you wish to train at a gym where coaches and athletes alike have equal chance to improve and community is fostered constantly, then CrossFit Heat is the place to be.
Lastly and super importantly: HEAT BARBELL CLUB. It is not a weightlifting program coached as part of the CrossFit programming like at many CF gyms, Heat Barbell is coached by a nationally ranked weightlifter who learned the sport of weightlifting from world champions and those who coached them. Jose (weightlifting coach) is a weightlifter who does CrossFit workouts for fun, not the other way around as in most CF gyms. Come to CrossFit Heat if you want to improve, go elsewhere if you want to watch others do so.

The building is huge, the coaches are great and the people are the best. I started a few years ago as a couch potato with no knowledge of fitness. A year later I successfully completed the Goruck Challenge thanks to Crossfit Heat.

Been doing it for 7 months and I have never felt better! Just the kind of place to motivate and kick your ass at the same time. Gym is gritty and so are the coaches. No pain no gain💪💪

Crossfit Heat has become my home away from home in Dallas. I have spent time at every type of gym available in Dallas, and finally found Crossfit Heat. I've been coming for over 2 years now, and I still look forward to seeing everyone and working out every day. I genuinely feel bad when I cannot make a workout. I've never had that experience at past gyms. The coaches are amazing, and for an extra added benefit, there is a barbell club in the basement ran by Jose Carranza that adds an incredible strength component. I couldn't be happier at any other gym.

I've been to several boxes across Texas. This one is by far the most impressive. For starters, the facility itself is a crossfit "fortress". It has several rooms and levels with some of the best equipment I've seen. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I felt like apart of the family my first day. Didn't feel judged as a outsider like some other boxes I've been to. Prices are fair considering the market standard and with my firefighter discount it's very affordable for my budget. I was planning on going to a couple of other boxes around Dallas to make sure I found the right place, but I already have. It's Crossfit Heat. This place is great.
