Bough a three day drop in pass online and cannot recommend this gym enough. Coach and Owner- Coach Z- was extremely welcoming and helped introduce me to the community. Community was very welcoming, did a partner workout and partnered up with the strength workout. This is usually intimidating in a new space but I felt right at home. The warm up and education in this gym are top notch- each day we did something new that not only challenged me but taught me something. Very clear coaching, with great expectations. A beautiful facility, would highly recommend. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Arlington!

Moving from another state, I never imagined a gym could make me feel so at home. This place has honestly become the reason I love living here! The coaches are incredible , they push you, support you, and genuinely care about your progress. The community is unmatched; everyone feels like family. I absolutely love this CrossFit gym! The community is super welcoming, and the workouts are always challenging but fun. The coach is amazing — really knowledgeable, encouraging, and great at helping everyone (no matter your level) improve their form and confidence. I’ve seen huge progress since joining. Coach/Owner Z(echariah) O'Rarden is a most excellent dude, and he even brings his dogs Hammer and Max to the 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM classes. Very thorough warm-ups and challenging WODs. It can be a bit hard to hear over the fans, but the people are all very warm, friendly, and welcoming. In other words, CrossFit people. My kind of people. Highly recommended.

After moving into a new area I had to leave CrossFit Max Level. After trying several other gyms in the area I live at now, nothing compares. The coaches cared about everyone’s progress, knew when to push or ease back, and the community always supported each other. Even after more than a year, I still miss it. I was in the best shape of my life there. The only downside of this gym is that once you leave, you’re going to have a hard time finding a better one.

I’ve been regularly coming to CrossFit Max Level for about 1.5 years, and I can honestly say this gym has positively impacted my life in countless ways.
After attending another CrossFit gym for 4 years, I took a 3-year break because I couldn’t find a place that felt like home—until I stepped into CFML. From day one, I knew this was different.
Programming:
Every workout is custom written by the owner, Zechariah, and it shows. This gym is truly his heart and soul. The programming is thoughtful, challenging, and built to push athletes of all levels to grow stronger and more skilled.
Coaching:
The coaches here are top-notch—knowledgeable, attentive, and always prioritizing proper form before heavy lifting. In nearly every class, I receive some kind of personalized correction or guidance, which has helped me build strength and skills I never thought possible.
Community:
The members make every class fun and energizing. Going to the same class time every day, you truly become like a little family. Everyone knows each other’s strengths and weaknesses, encourages one another, and celebrates wins—big and small. The energy in the room during workouts is absolutely contagious. There are also fun holiday workouts and events held throughout the year, like Murph and an internal team competition called TUFGames.
Cleanliness & Amenities:
The entire gym and all equipment is cleaned top to bottom several times a year and the floors are vacuumed (I'm pretty sure) every day and mopped regularly. There are two indoor and one outdoor rig, a decent amount of room inside on the floor, and plenty of the standard CF equipment, including Echo bikes, ski ergs, and GHD machines.
Oh, AND there are also showers, which is a HUGE bonus if you come on your lunchbreak like I do. : )
Lastly, the owner has two sweet yellow labs, Hammer and Max, that come to the gym regularly to cheer everyone on (and chase a ball). They are awesome!
If you’re looking for a place with excellent programming, coaches who care, a community that lifts you up in every way, and a nice shower to wash away the sweat (and suffering), CrossFit Max Level is it. This place is truly home.

Because of my work, I travel through various cities across the country, and I’m really grateful to have found this box. It has all the necessary equipment, a spacious and clean environment, and an incredible community. I also received great support and guidance from my coach.

Such an amazing gym and an equally incredible community! My husband and I joined CFML and we did not see ourselves as “crossfitters,” but Coach Z and his team of coaches have guided us the entire way, and we are hooked! Crossfit Max Level has seriously the best trainers, staff, and community family feel for any gym in the area. At 59 years old I took up crossfit here. I've been to other crossfits but have never felt so at home and so part of the team as Crossfit Max Level. It was Camp Tuf back then. Got into the best shape of my life with the encouragement they gave. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone, any age, any fitness level. You'll be amazed at what you can accomplish with a little help from your friends.

I have been doing CrossFit for a few years and have been all over the world for work and I drop in to a box just about everywhere I have been. This is one of the best facilities I have been to and the staff has a lot to do with that! The coaches here are the real deal and will ensure you get a good SAFE workout no matter your skill level. Camp TUF is an awesome facility. The programming is top notch and beats you down in a good way. The support from the community helps build you back up after a TUF workout.
Before the new location and during the lockdown, Coach Z provided a lot of support to the members through zoom workouts and nutrition training. Nutrition is the game changer. If you have an opportunity to follow the program, then do it!

I was in search of a new gym when I stumbled across Camp Tuf. Every day, driving to my office, I would notice it. Something prompted me to investigate. I had grown weary of my routine at my current gym and was looking for a change. So, I booked an appointment with Camp Tuf.
My first impression of the gym reminded me of workouts I'd done in high school. I was instantly drawn to the group environment. Coach Z greeted me warmly. He was clearly fit and knowledgeable. Observing the other members, I loved the atmosphere of everyone actively pursuing their fitness goals. Consequently, I decided to join, a decision that has profoundly changed my life.
At first, my attendance was sporadic, but soon I began showing up every day. I reached a point where I despised missing a workout. Each workout is unique and as challenging as you want it to be. Although I enjoy lifting heavy, it's important to work at your own pace. There's no need to compete with anyone else.
What I quickly came to appreciate most about the gym was the community. People from diverse backgrounds come together with a shared mission to improve, to become healthier, stronger, and fitter. I joined in April and it's now been about six months. My endurance has improved, I feel stronger than ever, and my stamina has increased. I feel better overall, my clothes fit better, and I've gained confidence in my workouts.
The supportive community is what I value the most. The gym is filled with a diverse group of individuals, young and old, male and female. It's been a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it. I urge you to give it a shot. I also want to add that I’ve attended and had a blast at the last two competitions held here :-)

Best gym that I have ever joined. The workouts are intense, and help you get to whatever goal you are seeking. The coaches have excellent knowledge and adaptations to movements you are unable to do. I have been working out at Camp TUF for 2 years now. I was 49 years old when I started. I was out of shape, had poor eating habits, weighed more than I should have and my mobility really sucked. I was feeling like an old guy.
Working out with Coach Z and taking advantage of his meal plans, and health instruction has changed my life. I lost the unwanted weight, I am stronger, I eat much better and my mobility is better than ever. I can truly say that "I fell better than I ever have"!
