So, I’ve tried a lot of things; Orange Theory, Jiu Jitsu, Planet Fitness, even some pay to play at home fitness. Nothing and nowhere that I’ve been so far has the level of professionalism, attention to detail, and personal care that I’ve experienced in my short time (about a month in) at CrossFit Midlothian.
I was concerned that in my 40’s CrossFit was “out of reach” for me. Even though I have a long way to go, I have felt supported, included, and excited to get to each session. The coaches are legit, fun, meticulous, and patient. Could not have hoped for a better experience!

CrossFit Midlothian has been a saving grace for me! The owners and their staff accepted me in with open arms. The gym is very nice and kept super clean. There are tons of class times available and the trainers actually know their stuff and are very patient! I would highly recommend the gym to anyone who wants to take working out serious. They push you to be better and hold you accountable. Most importantly they are CHRISTIAN OWNERS who put GOD first in their lives and it shows daily!

My husband started at CrossFit about three years ago. I didn’t go initially because I was okay with the workouts I did at home. Didn’t matter to Kris and Rob that I didn’t want to do it but they always supported me and congratulated me for doing fitness at home. I was scared and I didn’t think I was strong enough and didn’t want to look stupid. I came in to a couple workouts to check it out. Not only did I not feel stupid or not strong they built me up and showed me how to do the movements correctly and every other member there is nothing but encouraging and help you celebrate every accomplishment you make no matter how big or small. This is the best way not only to learn about your body and fitness but to gain forever friends. I do not regret one day taking the step to do it. At the end of every work out I gain more confidence. Never in a million years would I have thought I would be doing a competition. Saturday is my first one!

I started my CrossFit journey a little over 6 months ago, and couldn’t ask for a better gym to start, and continue my journey at. They’re great for all levels of fitness and offer many options for your fitness level. If you’re struggling with anything they will take time before, after, and anytime you need to help you with anything you struggle with. I’ve grown to love the family I’ve made in there, and I encourage anyone that’s even thinking about signing up to just do it and stop waiting, because it has changed my life.

First thing that comes in my mind a family friendly gym. Rob did a great job making this CrossFit Gym one of the best ones in midlothian. Unfortunately I could not continue due to my health reason but if you are seriously looking for a CrossFit gym that will help you in improving your strength from the moment you join until you build your strength. My roommate raved about Crossfit and I honestly mocked her and said, “who does that to themselves?” But I’m here to say, that after one night of laughing and having a great time with my kids playing Just Dance, as I danced around I felt my four c-sectioned and six pregnancy stomach moving a little too much. I decided then- I want to tighten things up and be really strong for my kids and my life.So I got onto CrossFits website to see what it was about.
I went in and met with Rob. He was kind and asked great questions and wanted to know my goals and how he believed I could achieve them through CrossFit. I decided to give it a whirl.
Three months in, I’m stronger than I probably ever have been. Things have tightened and lifted and I feel good. The people there are like a little gym family.
I’m truly grateful to be here. I’m grateful that I don’t have to get a 20k tummy tuck to tighten it all up. I’ll still have scars from children but I’m grateful for them. And I’m grateful to be still headed into a stronger and healthier way of moving.

Going here for the past few months has helped me so much in creating healthy habits to be active, and the workouts are fun and challenging. My favorite thing is not having to create a workout myself, all I have to do is show up! If you are a previous athlete that doesn’t have great workout habits, you will LOVE the workouts here at CrossFit Midlothian! Every workout is also modified so it makes is really easy to start out being out of shape and when work up to high levels of the workout as you get stronger!

I had my first-ever CrossFit class here, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The coaches were incredibly welcoming, patient, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain each skill, making sure I felt comfortable and safe. The other members were so encouraging, which made it feel like a supportive family rather than just a gym. Crossfit Midlothian is a great place to train. Coach Rob Gill, Coach Lisa Delaney, and Coach Bryce are great! The atmosphere is an encouraging one where people are friendly,greet you and help you out if you need it. The coaches also take the time to make sure you are executing proper form on your lifts and movements. Any workout that needs to be scaled down for your current fitness level is taken into account so as to accommodate your progress. Workouts and goals are clearly set forth, communicated, and carried out. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to get in shape, stay in shape, or improve their physical and mental quality of life to consider Midlothian Crossfit.

CrossFit Midlothian is my 4th CrossFit Gym that I have made home. So far, this has been the best experience hands down. CrossFit in general has been my preferred way to workout and the past gyms did a great job as well, but this place checks all of the boxes for me. First, they have several class times. No matter if you are a early bird or like to work out late, or if you are in that sweet spot where you have to take kids to school but still want a early work out, there is a class for you. Next, they have several coaches. All different styles and personalities but the one thing they all have in common, is making sure you are doing the movements correct and making sure you do something that is good for you. They don’t pressure you into doing the RX workouts. They make you feel fine about scaling workouts. Then, the classes are always filled. They have a few classes that are lite if you prefer a small group, but for the most part, it’s a lot of people which makes the workouts better. They have a really big membership that attends. I have truly enjoyed working out with them these last two months. The coaches really work with you to make sure you are getting better and better. I highly suggest this gym if you are looking for CrossFit style training!

The coaches are kind, encouraging, and extremely helpful. They keep the gym clean and uniform. The overall vibe of the community is very positive—everyone helps everyone and cheers each other on, regardless of your skill/performance level.
I’m currently going through the Accelerator program and I LOVE it! Having a coach that walks you through a custom plan for myself is exactly what I’ve been looking for. They send check-in texts for accountability, ask how your meal planning is going, focus on your goals with you, etc. They spell everything out so well! I really feel like I’m set up for success.

Wasn’t really a fan of CrossFit in my daily workout routines however I gave this a try and I absolutely became a believer. Class sizes are just right and I feel stronger and more functional after the last few months. This gym is for all sizes and skills and absolutely judge free which is uncommon in other gyms I’ve been to.

I never thought I would be able to keep up with the athletes at a CrossFit gym so I was always apprehensive when it came to joining one. But after going to the first class and seeing that everything is scaled down to where I am at currently and seeing that the workouts provide me with the direction I need to scale up to where I want to be made the idea of getting back in shape and meeting my goals, actually seem attainable. Amazing place! Coach Rob and Kris are absolutely incredible. I remember my consultation, I was extremely nervous and had high anxiety, but they both made me feel welcome and at ease. I’ve only been going for a little over a month, and the classes have really pushed me to become a better person and the coaches make me feel comfortable enough to push myself. Even in a decent size class, I still feel like I have that 1-on-1 help and attention. I would’ve never expected myself to do CrossFit but I have learned to love, enjoy, and embrace it. It took me months to get the courage to get back into the gym. When I finally came to a class at CrossFit Midlothian, I wished I would have joined sooner! The Coaches are very patient, super knowledgeable and personable. Even when you’re in a class, it still feels like you’re getting 1-on-1 attention. I am challenged every single day and in the past 6 weeks since joining, my physical and mental health, my weight and even my habits have improved drastically. Let’s just say I’ve never been so excited to wake up at 4:30 a.m. to workout.
Aside from the workouts that will definitely push you every time, all the people involved with CrossFit Midlothian are so welcoming. I have no family in Texas but I honestly feel as if I am surrounded by family whenever I am at the gym.

Handsdown blew every expectation I had of a crossfit gym. Different exercises everyday with a variety of different class times.
The gym owners (Rob and Kris) are the best part of the gym and are the main reason I plan on continuing my membership. They will recognize your limits and help modify some of the exercises so you don't feel left behind.

I was terrified to try CrossFit. I thought it was so intimidating with a ton of super fit people, who I wouldn’t fit in with.
That was so not the case. This is my FAMILY. I have never been so pushed while also accomplishing goals. There is so many ways to make the movements fit your body and still get in a good workout.

This was exactly what I was looking for in a Cross Fit gym. Coaches are very knowledgeable, they will meet you where you are and push you to do your very best. Gym members are motivating and the gym as a whole has a positive atmosphere. For someone who has done Cross Fit for several years this is by far one of the best gyms.

I moved to the Dallas area in October and I’m so glad that I found CrossFit Midlothian! It is always hard finding a new gym and being the new member and I’m not gonna lie…I was nervous! From the moment I walked into the gym everyone was so welcoming. Both the owners Kris and Robert are genuine and not only care about our health and fitness as members but they also care about us as people. I love that our gym cares about the community as well and has raised money for various causes. Far as the workouts….well let’s just say you will definitely not leave the same way you came in haha. Expect to move, sweat, and get in great shape!

I am very new to CrossFit and have always wanted to join a gym, but was so afraid of the stories ( that you had to be in insane shape to join) but man was I wrong Coach Rob, Kris, Tk, and Coach Isa made me feel at home so much so I even got my wife,mom, and sister to join they are very knowledgeable, and are very welcoming to all fitness levels.

This facility and it’s owners are amazing! The trainers are extremely motivating and supportive. The facility is extremely clean and they have top-of-the-line equipment. Everyone is so friendly and it feels like a family environment. Worth every penny and a wonderful business for our community!!

I’ll be honest, I was VERY intimidated by the CrossFit name. I kept telling myself that I was not strong enough to complete a CrossFit workout. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I am SO thankful that I stepped foot in this place. Kris and Robert, the owners, immediately eased my fears and assured me that I belonged in their gym. They were right! This is the best place I’ve ever worked out. After each workout, I leave feeling extremely proud of myself and energized to come back the following day. The members are absolutely wonderful too. I second what someone said about being family. I found a place that I belong. They accept me and push me to be better. Let us do the same for you! This is a great place to workout. The equipment is outstanding, the owners are very helpful and they have great trainers. It is also veteran owned and they are always looking for ways to get involved with the community. I highly recommend trying this gym out!

I was a vendor here for their 9/11 workout and even though I didn’t get to work out with everyone, both Rob and Kris did an excellent job with the workout. From the explanation of the workouts to motivating everyone as well as providing options based on someone’s skill level couldn’t have been better!! If you are lookin for a great place to workout that is friendly and will push you but accept you for who you are then you would be hard pressed to find a better place!!

I’m new to CrossFit and I’m definitely glad I decided to try it out with CrossFit Midlothian! Robert and Kris will make you feel welcomed and a part of the family as soon as you walked in. They have created a great atmosphere that makes it hard to not want to come back everyday!! Everyone I’ve met so far are amazing and supportive of each other. I am very new to CrossFit and never really envisioned myself being a part of this community. Boy was I pleasantly surprised. I tried one other group oriented fitness program but did not feel welcomed like I have been with the team at CrossFit Midlothian. Every class is different and Coach Rob has really helped to tailor each exercise to your current fitness level while encouraging you to push for more. He explains each exercise and physically shows you the proper and safe way to do them. It is exactly what I need to get myself in shape, not hurt myself and makes me want to come back every day.
