At CrossFit OTL, we believe that health, wellness, and fitness are intertwined. Fitness is not just about sports performance, bodybuilding, or competitive weekend racing. All these things can be great indicators of fitness, but in today’s health economy, we also must be concerned with our ability to perform everyday activities for the duration of our lives.
That’s why we focus on improving functional movements that are necessary and common in our daily activities, like picking up our kids or moving that bag of mulch from the trunk to the backyard. We also care about our nutrition, sleep, and stress. At CrossFit OTL, we care about your health and your fitness. We believe they are one and the same.

I love CrossFit OTL. Every time I show up I end up doing something new, whether it is a heavier lift, more reps, or a faster time. It has helped me believe in myself in ways I never had before. A year ago, I could barely walk the dog without getting winded. Now I look forward to workouts with 800m runs, I can carry my 85lb dog if he stalls out on me, I can do 7 strict pull-ups, and am training for longer distance runs. CrossFit OTL has transformed how I think about health — it’s not about fat or skinny anymore, but what my body can do, how strong it can be, and how I care for it. I really enjoy working out here. I have been to other boxes and this is by far my favorite. Everyone is very supportive of your fitness and wellness goals. Programming accomodates people of all fitness levels. I appreciate that they offer a 13 class/month option (which comes out to about 3 day a week). This option is great for me and my busy lifestyle. My kids have attended their kids camp and absolutely LOVE it. If they weren't already involved in so many other things, I would sign them for the kids membership.

I’ve been a member for 3 months and very happy I joined CrossFit OTL. I’m 61 years old and very much a beginner. The coaches (Deanie, Isabel, Nicholas, Javier and Clay) have been great and helped me immensely. The other members have been really great and supportive. Classes are filled with people of all skill levels and there is a great sense of community. I highly recommend CrossFit OTL and you should come check out a class!

I currently live in Las Vegas but travel to Keller area about every 5 weeks to visit family. I've dropped in to just about every CrossFit gym in the surrounding area and this gym was truly my favorite of all and what I will now consider my home away from home gym. I wish I could give more stars. OTL is such an amazing box and has become a second home for our family. Not only is the programming amazing, the equipment top of the line, the coaching beautiful and the box AIR CONDITIONED❤️❤️❤️❤️ but it is also so incredibly family friendly. They have kids classes for our 6 year old and our 2 year old can come with us and hang out, and someone is always bringing out coloring supplies or just holding her because it’s a family. And this isn’t just a smart business move on their part; it’s a box owned by parents and run in conjunction with their young adult children, so family is the absolute root of everything they do and it is so apparent in how the my interact and deal with their members and each other . While I absolutely adore getting stronger and fitter (and looking better) one of my favorite things about this box is watching Deanie and Javier teach and lead and interact with their children in such a graceful, encouraging, and honoring way. So many things to be learned at this box, much more than just CrossFit.

This is a great box! I've been doing CrossFit for ten years and have seen both good and bad gyms. CrossFit OTL is great. The gym is air conditioned, the WODs are challenging, the equipment is top of the line Rogue gear, and the coaches are experienced professionals. Whether you've done CrossFit for years or you've never stepped foot in a box, you'll find what you need at CrossFit OTL.

I have not done CrossFit before so I can't compare content to other places. After going a couple months I feel stronger. There are modifications for newbies. If you like a group setting with someone there to help you figure stuff out...then this is the place. There are more advanced people too and they seem to get what they need out of it.

If you’re ready to see and feel positive change in your health and fitness you should check out CrossFit OTL. The coaching and support take the intimidation out of CrossFit. Javier and Nicholas developed a plan based on my fitness and got me to a level where I could progress quickly. I feel great and after four months, I’ve made significant progress. I have a long way to go, but I know that Deanie and Clay will help me scale in a way that is challenging without being impossible. Every class has its own personality based on the group of athletes that participate, but there is definitely a place for anyone willing to put in the work.

After lengthy procrastination and self doubt I decided to set an introductory appointment with Javier, and since that date (about 100 days ago) I’ve felt improvements in my fitness that are nothing short of incredible. I dropped in during my visit to Texas last week and I had a great time! The facility is a great size and the coaches were great! I loved that there were all different skill levels in the class and everyone worked at their level/pace! I did have an issue with the app and I would suggest for a person that is just visiting the area, maybe have less apps to download, but overall I would definitely recommend stopping in!

Throughout my life, I have always had health problems, nothing major but definitely not on the normal scale. When I turned 14, my health began to worsen, and I found myself praying for an answer, anything to help me solve the problem. Not even two weeks later my mom found out about CrossFit OTL and after talking to Deanie and Javier, we were convinced that they were the answer to our prayers. After I joined, Deanie and Javier began to help me with my nutrition, which we discovered was the main cause of my health problems. They were so patient with me and spent so much of their time counseling us on what diets would be best and how to make it do-able and easy. My health has improved immensely, and I cannot thank them enough. Their family is truly amazing, and I don't know where I would be without them.
Javier and Deanie, their family, and everyone else at OTL have taught me many things, but something that I will take me with me throughout my life is that the only limitations in life are the ones you place on yourself. I realized that I am capable of so much more than I could have ever imagined and with CrossFit, I have achieved many goals both physically and mentally. If you are interested in CrossFit, don't just think about trying it out, do it. I can assure you that you won't regret it and your life will be changed in ways you didn't think were possible.

Love the upbuilding community and awesome scheduled workouts! If you’re worried about any kind of competitiveness, rest assured, you can scale up to your own capacity, not to anyone else’s here. I call it PE for adults. I workout better when I am told what I’m supposed to do next, so this has been really great for me! Never been to CrossFit before? No worries, Javier can teach you the ropes before getting started. I highly recommend you begin with the On-Ramp, get your foundational movements right, and you can totally rock the rest!

Six years ago, I had just finished earning a degree but was the unhealthiest I’d ever been. I lay in bed one night and could feel my heart racing, simply due to its unhealthy state. I prayed, “I need help. I don’t want to die young.” A week later, a friend introduced me to a CrossFit group led by the Jaimes. (So, they were a direct answer to prayer, but I’m not telling them that.)
I went for a consultation and told Javier my story. He asked me to do some simple, functional movements. The first was a squat. I attempted that squat and promptly fell over. Now, 6 years later, I can squat heavier weights than my workout partners. (They’re all faster than I am, but I’m strong.) Javier reminds me of the day I “rolled down the driveway” when asked to do a squat. “And now look how far you’ve come.”
I have never in my life enjoyed exercise. I still don’t. I come for the camaraderie. My workout peeps motivate me, make me laugh, and push me to constantly better my health. I come for the training. I am able to do more than I ever have. I feel confident as I navigate middle age. I come because of the accountability. People notice when I’m gone. I come to be an inspiration to my daughters. They’ve seen me accomplish big intellectual and academic goals, and now they watch me accomplish physical goals. I come to see what other mountains I’m able to conquer. Never in my whole life did I know that I’m strong. I only knew that I was slower than everyone else.
I am so grateful for what this group of people and the CrossFit community has given me. In my journey, I sweat, grumble, and laugh constantly. (I’ve only cried twice.) I have made amazing friends who celebrate my accomplishments and allow me to cheer them towards their own goals.
I will never regret this journey. If I had said no 6 years ago, my life would not be the same now. I will forever be grateful that I was offered a chance to be part of this group and that I showed up that first time, rolled down the driveway in an ill-fated squat, and kept coming back.

We had been looking for a CrossFit class suitable for a beginner teen for several months and never found one that seemed to care about protecting the athletes through proper instruction and form. When we found CrossFit OTL, Coach Javier patiently spent time with my daughter and I answering all our questions and walking through their training philosophy and process. All the CrossFit OTL coaches are knowledgeable and encouraging. The athlete class has been a fun way for my daughter to build strength and power for her softball and running in a friendly, encouraging atmosphere. It has become a regular part of her daily routine she looks forward to and she hates it when she has to miss a class.

I startedCrossFit with the OTL family a little over 2 years ago. I had been doing another well known group fitness program and I loved it, but even though I had been doing it for about 7 years, I hadn’t noticed much change in my body. My sister and friends were doing CrossFit so I thought I’d try just to see. I immediately received a wake up call as to where my weaknesses were and quickly had a laundry list of new goals. Progress was slow but steady and after a year, I really started to notice subtle but definite changes in my body: Muscle definition I had been lacking. While I work out because of my desire to be strong and healthy, I keep showing up every day because of the community. These are my people. They push me, encourage me, make fun of me. It’s why I drag myself out of bed every morning to torture myself (I jest). I can’t imagine trying to do any type of workout program without the coaching, encouragement and friendship I found at OTL.

I found Crossfit OTL after my old box changed schedules and eliminated my class, and I couldn't be happier that they did! Jaime and Deanie are such great coaches, they take the time to make sure everybody is doing a movement and weight that's appropriate for their skill level. After two months here I've made more progress than I did in two years prior, the space is huge, equipment top notch, and the community couldn't be better. Give them a shot, you'll be glad you did!

One of the best places to meet the best people! Working out is never fun if you aren’t surrounded by those that encourage you. My mornings are filled with awesome people of all ages. CrossFit OTL cares about the whole person not just how buff you can become. The coaches give you hands-on instant feedback and help you make adjustments during workouts. It is a life changing experience and I recommend it highly to all my friends and family.

I started CrossFit OTL in January, and through the workouts, personal training, and athletic training, I feel confident to go play college soccer in the fall. I can't say enough good things about this place. I will probably never workout anywhere else but here again. The coaches, Javier and Deanie, are incredible to work with. They are genuinely there to help you improve your health and are really approachable. I've never done Crossfit before, so I was initially a little intimidated by some of the workouts that I knew would be difficult for me, but they're excellent at coaching through modifications or scaling options that still challenge you and help you work up to those movements, without any judgement.
There is also a great community feeling here. Everybody is very supportive and welcoming, and there's people all across the spectrum of fitness and athletic abilities. There's never any feeling of judgement or a highly competitive environment, it feels more like a team who all wants to see each other get better, stronger and healthier.

I was an athlete up until college but never consistently worked out after that. I would go through phases but ultimately ended up getting brunt out with my workout of the month. After trying CrossFit on vacation with my cousins, I was determined to find a box at home! Javier, Deanie and their family are the best! I have totally fallen in love with the sport, this box and their growing community. Their encouragement and willingness to help at all levels has made me feel so welcomed. I have never felt intimidated or like and outsider once and that was the idea I had in my head before walking in the door. I am currently getting help with nutrition, personal training and completing WODs. After only three weeks, I went up 1lb of muscle and down 2.5% of body fat! My mind was truly blown. I have tried so many gyms, diets and fads for over a decade and never seen these results. It is easy to want to eat right and walk in the doors every morning. I can’t wait to see the progress after 3 months. Crossfit OTL is not just a box, it’s family!
