I recently relocated to Austin and was on the lookout for a CrossFit box that matches any pace, full of encouragement and lacking any judgement. Crossfit REP is it. Just wrapped up my second session at Crossfit-Rep and I’m already hooked! I’ve tried a bunch of other places, but nothing comes close to the energy, friendliness, and attention you get here. I had the chance to meet coaches Scott, Jen, and Kaitlyn and they’re absolute gems! They're super fun, super knowledgeable, and always make sure I’m moving with the right form (which is a big deal since I’m brand new to CrossFit).
Even as a beginner, I’ve never once felt out of place, the vibe is super welcoming and encouraging. I’m genuinely excited for the sessions ahead and can’t wait to keep building strength and confidence on this fitness journey.

Best CrossFit/Hyrox gym in North Austin, hands down. Years ago, I was looking for a place with group fitness class to get me motivated to move/exercise and found this little gem (see what I did there?). Anyway, fast-forward 5 years and I still enjoy it every day. I'm stronger, faster, and more flexible/mobile than ever. Ive been coming to this gym for 3 years and I still look forward to doing the work outs and seeing the people. It’s an encouraging community of friends and coaches. They will work with you on modifications, so it’s very low-pressure, which I really appreciate when doing the strength and conditioning. The coaches will help you structure the pace of the work out and encourage you, which is exactly what I need in a workout. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to try cross fit for the first time.

When I started, I didn't know the difference between a bar bell, kettle bell, and dumb bell. Now I feel comfortable doing squat cleans in hotel gyms when I travel. After I moved to Round Rock, I tried a handful of crossfit gyms, but there wasn't enough weight training, and I was actually losing muscle. I decided it was worth it to make the commute. I really like how each class includes weight training as well as circuit training. I feel stronger than I've ever been.

I’ve been a member for over 3 years and I can’t imagine changing gyms. I came here to rehab my achilles and get in shape for an upcoming backpacking trip. I came in at 247lbs and now weigh 190lbs all thanks to the coaches and Coach Jake’s programming of challenging but beneficial workouts, and not the typical soul crushing CrossFit workouts from overbearing coaches and boxes. Returning after a 6 year hiatus and it feels like I never left. New faces and some old faces but the atmosphere is the same. You can walk in and know that everyone there will be giving it there all and cheering each other on as we all strive to finish what ever crazy, challenging and new workout is programmed.

Since joining CrossFit REP I have been able to reach my goals and surpass them with ease. I often surprise myself with how strong I have gotten since becoming a member a short 6 months ago. I've also gained knowledge in technical lifts and learning how to lift safely/properly.

Ask me 3 years ago if I’d be doing Crossfit and I would’ve told you…HA!!! LOL. No way, Jose. I’d always been under the impression that Crossfit was for mega ripped athlete types who eat only Paleo, and that’s not me. So when my significant other discovered Crossfit REP’s solid online reviews in 2017, I decided to give it a try with him. Now, almost 2 years later, there is a huge difference in my strength and endurance.
The best thing about Crossfit is that you can scale the movements to your level - there is no shame whatsoever in doing so. My first year at REP, I focused on learning and feeling confident with the Crossfit movements while not going too heavy. Only in the past few months have I begun to push myself more and clean up my diet, which has yielded more noticeable results. Not only that, but I feel better overall, have more energy and actually look forward to my evening workouts.
REP offers effective programming (it’s so much easier to have workouts planned for you), GREAT coaches (they truly care about you using good form and prevention of injury - super important to me), and a friendly community (all ages, backgrounds and skill levels do Crossfit, I love it). Yes, Crossfit is more expensive than joining Gold’s or Planet Fitness, but if you’re anything like me, I find it impossible to push myself during solo workouts. Working out with a small group helps with this. I also appreciate that REP doesn’t try to push a specific diet on you (i.e. Paleo, I’m vegan).
In my opinion, the pricing at REP is fair and you get great value for your money - as long as you show up and put in your best effort. I’ve always been of the mindset of investing my money in preventing health issues down the line…a gym membership and quality food will be cheaper than prescriptions and hospital visits. So think of it as an investment in yourself. Give Crossfit REP a try, be consistent, and you can reach your fitness goals - whatever those may be.

After a quick search for CrossFit gyms in my area, I stumbled across CrossFit REP, which had a perfect 5-star rating, and was only 2 blocks from my office--I was skeptical.
I've been a member for over 6 months now, and I can confidently say this gym is more than deserving of its exceptional rating. Here's why:
Programming. Perfect balance of strength work, cardio, and technique in each workout. You grow every day, but there's variety in the movements/muscle groups to allow you to come daily without the risk of overexertion/injury/etc.
Coaches. Jake and his team of coaches are stellar. Energetic, knowledgable, professional, and friendly. Can't say enough about the staff.
Members/Community. 6 months ago, I would cringe about writing the word "community" in a review of a gym. Before joining REP, I'd hear the word community thrown around and I immediately brushed it off as some buzzword to attract new members. There is without question a community at REP that keeps me coming back...you'll have to experience it for yourself!
Technology. Between signing up for classes, tracking your personal progress/goals, and communication about upcoming gym events, Jake has the technology part of the business figured out. Pretty seamless and slick!

This used to be my gym before I moved to South Austin and the commute was too much to handle. Man how I miss it. The community and the coaching are second to none. Great box and great atmosphere! Coaches are very knowledgeable and emphasize technique in all exercises. A big plus is they have several oly lifting platforms built into the floors, as well as good oly lifting barbells. I was a member for only 3 months or so (reason: had to move), but i will definitely miss the coaches and the other friends i met there.

Jake and his excellent staff of coaches have cultivated an atmosphere of fun, insipiring enthusiasm focused on improving the lives of their clients. All the essential aspects of a great CrossFit gym exist at CrossFit Rep and I am happy to make it my exercise home.
The programming is the best I have seen for group classes. By integrating tiers of fitness levels that are continuously retested, each level corresponding to scaled exercises, weights and rep schemes, each class maximizes every attendees potential for their particular stage of fitness.
If group class isn't for you they offer personal training that I am very excited to take advantage of soon.
Want nutritional council? Jake will create a sustainable nutrition program specifically designed for you which comes with scans on an In-body system. If you don't know what these are look them up, you can get on one and find out body weight, muscle mass, percent body fat and more. Personally I have lost almost 14 pounds of fat, lost 6% body fat and gained 5 pounds of muscle in the two months I've been on the program so far!
The quality of the equipment is great. Only once have I seen a cracked plate and that was the day someone dropped a barbell from overhead with only 10# plates on. It was quickly replaced but not before we held a mini funeral for the brave plate who gave its life to get us in shape, complete with bag pipes over the speaker and 10 burpee salute.
The community at Rep is one made whole with camaraderie, support and respect for each other. Every human is welcome (and well behaved dogs too!) to join in on the fun and get fit together!

The constant evolution of the program and continuous improvement of the facility are truly worth the investment. Comparatively, CrossFitRep is a bargain compared with other boxes in Austin. I strongly recommend trying them out!

I was in Austin, Tx for many months for a work assignment and was doing research on several crossfit gyms in the area. I tried a few different gyms in the area and knew immediately I was going to sign up for Crossfit Rep after my first session. All of the coaches and owner are amazing people and most importantly very knowledgeable. They take the time to understand your capabilities as an athlete and help you accomplish what you are looking to get out of jointing crossfit. I highly recommend this gym!

Sadly, I am leaving and I will miss everything about REP and I truly appreciate all of the work Jake and the other coaches have done with me - it is amazing to me how far I've come since I joined the gym. I was in Austin last week for work, and was looking around for a local affiliate that was close to my office. I noticed Crossfit REP was close to the Domain, and dropped in after work on Tuesday. I was immediately welcomed to the gym by Tim, one of the coaches, who pointed me to Jake, the owner of the gym. I had emailed Jake about dropping in, and he responded almost immediately about space being available to jump in for a workout. I ended up doing the barbell workout, partnered with DJ, and immediately felt like a member of the gym. Everyone was super friendly and the gym definitely has a tight-knit family feel. I ended up dropping in Wednesday and Thursday because of my great experience on Tuesday, also grabbing drinks with the group after the Wednesday workout. For anyone looking to drop-in, or become a member of a crossfit gym, I can't say enough good things about my experience at Crossfit REP. If you are looking for a gym that has a great atmosphere and a small community feel, REP is the place to be. I was very impressed by the staff with the focused coaching they provide during workouts, as well as the members who are friendly and welcoming. As soon as I am back in Austin, I will be dropping in at REP.

Love the community and the coaches here. CrossfitREP is not the first CrossFit box that we have been to, but definitely the best box. The coaches are great, highly technical, and friendly. The program is spot on, and we've seen results the very first month. I love it here!!!

The coaches at CrossFit REP legitimately care about your health and wellbeing. They focus on good form rather than have you do crazy movements and increase the chances of injury. I am very happy with their ability to recognize my skill level and adjust the intensity based on what I can do. If you voice to the instructor what your goals are, and if you like to be pushed, they will do that for you. This is as good as you make it to be.

Great gym, knowledgable coaches, and a fun community make this box the perfect CrossFIT experience. This is not the type of CF gym to push you beyond your limits and make you feel uncomfortable. Injury prevention is front and center along with working to achieve your individual goals. Training here has helped my golf game and general functional fitness. I love me some CrossFIT REP!

I started at Crossfit REP around January this year. I was looking for a crossfit box close to my place and I've found REP here on Yelp with great reviews and decided to check.
I couldn't have made a better choice.
Jake (the owner and coach) and the coaching team are top-notch. There's a lot of attention to correct form and skills. The coaches will push you but at the same time will tell you when you're going too heavy on weights.
The crowd is great too - everyday people from all walks of life, all giving their best at the WODs. Everyone is very friendly and the overall atmosphere is fun and electrifying.
I haven't been to other boxes so I don't know what their programs are or if they have a long-running program at all, but I particularly like following the Juggernaut program at REP; it gives every workout a purpose towards the final goal of crushing your PRs at the end.
If you're want to get awesome around awesome people, I highly recommend REP!

I've never done crossfit before, but have always loved sports. After years of running and cycling, I got kind of bored, gained a couple of lbs, and wanted to shake things up and push myself physically in a different way. So I checked out the website and really liked what I saw. When I first went to the gym, it was a bit intimidating with the new movements, terminology, etc. but coach Jake was very patient, took the time to clearly explain things in a way that made sense, answered all my questions (there were plenty...) and taught me the essential moves I would need for class in three one-on-one sessions. He's personable and just wants you to be the best you that you can - and it genuinely shows when you get to know him. I'm still a newbie as I've only done 5 workouts with the group, and I'm not going to lie....they hurt. And you'll be sore. But that's what it's all about - you're not going to feel better, look better, and BE better without pushing yourself to your limits and then some. You have to get out of your comfort zone and that's exactly what coach Jake and coach Tim do...and damn they're good at it. I'd recommend this place to anyone on the fence about trying crossfit and to anyone wanting to get in good shape in general. You'll feel great about yourself, and meet some really cool people during the classes. Just be sure to bring your "A" game every workout, and you'll be hooked in no time.

I came to CrossFit REP as a "noob" to the sport. I had a background as a competitive gymnast (back in my "younger days"), competitive mountain biker, a runner, Off Road Triathlete, and BootCamp survivor. The workouts are scalable - making them challenging to athletes of all levels.
The coaches are all top notch. Not only do they encourage you to push yourself harder and harder, they have a highly trained eye in pinpointing minor form breaks in the complex movements we do in this sport.
Then, there's the community. I have made so many new friends through this gym - and we all enjoy cheering each other on as we push through a tough workout.
If you're on the fence about joining this gym - come to one of their community workouts offered every Saturday morning. You will experience first hand why you want to join this gym!

I've been a member of this gym for 8 months and never looked back. It's a great community with great coaching. Scaling movements and workouts is encouraged if necessary to avoid injury, but at the same time you're challenged to push yourself beyond what you think you can do. There's lots of focus on proper form and technique with a laid back, fun atmosphere to make the hour fly by.

I went to CrossFit REP on Monday while I was traveling in Austin. I sent an email ahead of time and got a quick/cheerful response back saying I was able to join the workout. The class size was small (there were four of us) and the instruction and equipment were great. The gym had just finished a 9 week strength program and was wrapping up with 1 rep maxes of dead lifts, bench press, back squat, and strict press. We finished the workout with a quick 10 minute cardio burner. The cost for attending is $20 or buy a shirt (I opted for a shirt). I had a great time and will be back if I'm in Austin.
