Horrible service scheduled appointment with a trainer and no show and nobody to help then talked to store manager Lou and trainer for my refund and nothing stole my money for services they didn’t provide. Then to process cancellation had me email and still charging me. Beware there is no one to talk to above store manager no corporate nothing. Will have to go in person and I have everything documented and time stamped I will contact BBB for their poor ethics and stealing.

I really enjoyed myself tonight. It was my first time coming in during the evening, and even though I misplaced my phone and tripod, someone kindly turned them in. The staff at this location is incredibly pleasant.
I usually come in the mornings to exercise, but tonight I finally had some free time and I’m so glad I did. I’m very pleased with my membership and the overall atmosphere here. The staff consistently goes above and beyond my expectations.
I’m big on customer service, so the fact that I plan to continue my membership says a lot. This is truly a great place to be.

My daughter and I love Crunch. Everyday that I come in, I get greeted by staff, I scan in, and go straight to the kids club to bring my kiddo in. Getting into the gym is easy breezy and that’s such a big win for Mama (me). No need to “make an appointment” or take additional steps to get into the gym.

The ladies (staff) in the kids club put in the effort to engage with your kid. My daughter is 3 so if she needs assistance with restroom breaks, I’m getting a call straight away. Makes me feel like the staff is always on top of the kiddos. The perfect ingredient for a great workout. Peace of mind.

Crunch has what you need to get a great work out in but really, it’s the kids club that makes me stay. Everything for the kiddo!

I understand it’s an old gym, but the corners have dirt as if they had never been cleaned. Terrible experience canceling - their protocol is to have one show up in person to cancel when one tries to cancel via phone. I followed protocol and canceled in person. I had the "manager" at the front desk flirt with me instead and told me I "was good" and that my membership would cancel; he did not give me anything to sign or any copy. This ended up being a HUGE MISTAKE because he never actually processed my cancellation and I was charged for the next 2 months and for the whole year. When I called to explain all of this and ask for a refund, it took DAYS for me to finally get a hold of the "store manager" that could resolve this (because apparently the front desk cannot resolve any of this and a manager is never around when one calls). Lou or Lu is the store manager. I got a nasty attitude from him about how he is so "busy" running this branch and that my issue he eventually would get to after I explained to him my frustration that over 6 weeks later I was getting charged for fees I canceled. We discussed how I needed my refund. Weeks later, I followed up again because my refund still had not processed and he told me he could not do anything besides follow up via email with a different department that handles refunds. I finally got a hold of him for the second time in almost 4 weeks after calling numerous times and being told by the front desk that he was busy, not around, or would call back. I never got a call back from him. THIS SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED HAD MY MEMBERSHIP BEEN CANCELLED WHEN I WALKED INTO THIS FACILITY TO CANCEL WEEKS AGO. At first I thought this was a mistake, but after seeing how long this facility is dragging to get me my refund, I have the hunch this might be a scam tactic to keep charges for members that should have never occurred.

I disputed this with my credit card and the rep I spoke with told me the same thing happened to him when he tried canceling his membership with Crunch. He is in a different state. He ended up having to file a dispute and get a new credit card. What are the odds here? It is almost impossible to get a corporate or accounting number to try to resolve this; I asked for these numbers and Lou refused to give them to me, he instead gave me an email address. All emails I have ever sent to this facility get ignored.

Avoid this gym if you can. If there is a competitor with a similar price range for you, go to that one instead. This facility has old equipment and hygiene is not the best, I was only going for proximity but now that there is a new gym I decided to switch, and I was astonished to find out their terrible customer service; particularly the inept front desk and management. The front desk cannot really help and their default is that a manager is needed and a manager is never really around when you call to try to resolve or ask something.

Upon signing up, Lou facilitated a seamless enrollment process, and I was pleased to learn that I would receive a 30-day free membership for myself and my husband, as well as a discount on childcare. However, the following week, I was charged the full price. Subsequently, Lou failed to return my calls, prompting me to visit in person. i came to this gym on 9/8/25 at about 10 at night. i went into the steam room and immediately as i entered it smelt very strongly of chemicals. i was in there not even 5 minutes before my lungs, throat, and eyes started burning to the point that i couldn't stand it anymore. i brought my concern to the front desk lady and she said “oh they probably used too much bleach while cleaning”. fast forward to the next day i woke up with an extremely sore throat and im now running a fever. i called and a woman answered the phone and when i told her she said “weve had multiple complaints about it smelling like chemicals, we are already aware of the issue.” i then spoke to the manager lou and he said that shes new and he has no idea what shes talking about and they’ve never had anyone complain. he said what ‘probably’ happened is that the hot tub is broken so the chlorine fumes caused the issue. if that’s the case they shouldve had it blocked off because that is an extreme health hazard. whatever is going on is causing serious health concerns and needs to be addressed.

I just signed up 1 week ago. My first monthly payment was due today, I dont have the money until Friday, so I called them to set up a payment plan, or to tell them to take it out Friday and was told I'll be suspended and cant work out until paid in full. I get it, bills should be on time, but at least I called to set up a payment plan and the lady literally hung up on me half way though me talking once i said I'll cancel. I like going to this gym, the staff is nice and I like the available equipment. however, cleanliness is an ongoing issue. I attempted to use the showers yesterday, only one shower was actually working, but the drain did not drain so i was standing in dirty water while trying to rinse off. this definitely is making me rethink my membership. I have an allergy to chlorine and have to rinse off after using the pool, now that I know that I can't it doesn't feel worth it to pay $35/mo to not be able to use the amenities to their full extent. not to mention the bathrooms are every poorly kept.

Crunch Fitness in Atascocita is a good gym, but it’s definitely lacking in cleanliness, and it needs a deep clean. There is dirt and grime around the bases of each piece of equipment, and the gym could do a better job maintaining its machines, especially the stairclimbers, which need attention. It doesn’t feel like anyone takes pride in running or maintaining this location. With better cleanliness and regular upkeep, this gym could be a much better experience.

I’m tired of paying for a membership where EVERYONE gets the amenities. I’ve had to go to the desk several times and let the employees know after they told me what hydro chair to use that there are homeless people sleeping on them. Literally, I followed someone that was on the chair in dirty clothes and a blanket snoring on the hydro left, go under the new over pass on 1960. The toilets are horrid. I’ve been having to leave this gym and rush home 8miles away to get to a restroom. The toilets are always clogged, out of toilet paper. My wife had to cancel because she said the restrooms had period blood all over. The destroyed cable straps that they use to have are missing since February and here we are mid June and still haven’t replaced them. But I see people showing up to the gym with their own equipment to use. I’m canceling my membership. This is ridiculous to have to pay this amount of money. Never once have they confirmed what membership I have to use amenities. Yet I’m spending top tier price at this gym, per their recommendation. I go home smelling like this nasty unsanitary place. Oh and show up at 3:30AM 4:00AM and you can just walk right in. No one at the counter. This tells me how the homeless get in. And you think I want my daughter to be in the child center. Absolutely not. It’s a homeless shelter. And the reaction to the employees when you do find them is , “uhh again” and go back to swiping on TikTok. I’ve been in the sauna and while no one at the counter when I walked in, employees in the sauna or working out.

Due to Medicare taking our membership away I've been out for a while but I've joined back up because I need the exercise to keep my old body in good form. I can't say enough good things about Crunch. I am very disappointed about this gym management because last year I had membership after hurricane I moved so I did cancel membership that time they charged me annually fee $80 before I did start they don’t tell me any annual fee. Crunch Fitness refuses to contact me back regarding a billing matter in which they repeatedly took money from a bank account even after we followed their instructions and sent proof the request had been sent in writing and replied to by the local management at the time, I showed proof of the transactions but they STILL could not find the account that was drafting my account, I have called repeatedly, sent emails, one of their members of management named Justin asked me not to contact the bank and assured me he would get to the bottom of it and call me with a resolution yet will not return my emails nor has he called me back. I tried every which way to give them an opportunity to fix this but they seem to have no interest in fixing this, save yourself the headache and find a different gym.

I'm very dissapointed with some classes, yoga and zumba, they really need to hiring well prepared instructors, as a payer customer i expect to have a quality classes, today i was very dissaponted with zumba classes, or " so you think you can't dance", the lady no had idea what she did it, but she is not the only instructor, they have others that no had idea what they did it, not well prepared.
I had membership in fitness connection and they have a well prepared instructors, ymca have a well prepared instructors too, that's why I know the diference between a good instructor and bad instructor, so I've been in classes so many years, so today I went to the front to let them know the classes i didn't like it, it was so bad, and I've been in yoga classes at morning and it's really bad, just a little bit instructors are really good! Hit zone classes are the best!!! But the others one not. Please crunch fitness hire well prepared instructors.

The red light room and equipment is filthy . I had to spray the equipment down to clean it and it was completely black .Hair was all in the sides of the equipment you could tell it has not been cleaned in a while. The floor was so sticky and disgusting. The head rest needs to be replaced it's cracked . I have made complaints to the associates numerous times but I feel this has fell on deaf ears. I feel if I'm paying for a service no matter the cost I should be able to use clean and maintained equipment. I see so many complaints on the dirtiness at this gym but it seems as the owner doesn't care . I keep trying to give this gym a chance and it seems every time I go in to work out , tan or ect it's always dirty . Hopefully with enough complaints some good house cleaning will become the # 1 priority instead of # 's to bring in .

This gym is DIRTY! The cleanliness standards are non-existent. It’s always filthy, especially the HIIT room. I had to use several wipes to clean a barbell, and it was STILL covered in grime! I had the gyms general manager approach me stating that a member saw me taking footage of them. The General Manager stated that they did not tolerate such behavior of which I asked for video camera footage to be reviewed, and evidence handed to me so that I could see what supposed evidence there was since he was bold enough to come up and accuse me of such a behavior.. It is unprofessional to approach anyone and to accuse them of doing a behavior without substantial evidence. That is considered defamation of character. Of course no evidence was found and I waited around until he got to looking at his camera system and all I got was that he couldn't find the time the event occurred and get an agreed upon time with the customer. So why did he even bother to approach me and accuse me of doing a behavior that is against the rules if he didn't due his due diligence to confirm the behavior that I was supposedly accused of and why are there not consequences for false accusations?

You need to beware because some people will falsely accuse you and the general manager will approach you without evidence of such issue going on which is unprofessional and arrogant. I take accusations seriously because people have gotten into legal trouble and have been sentenced for less. If that manager finds out the person who was claimed to be accused is innocent, I expect an apology and for something to be done to ensure it doesn't happen again. That is the respectful and responsible thing to do. I am disappointed in how the manager did not do their due diligence and how they handled the situation. I am leaving this review so you potential customers and current customers know of my situation. I have been waiting for the supposed phone call I would get and after almost a week and a half I have still gotten no update from the general manager about the situation like he claimed he would do. Frankly, I am not surprised. I did not expect to trust his word because if he did not do his due diligence to begin with, i did not expect much from the promises he made. If this ever happens to you make sure to record the situation and get everything in writing so you can cover yourself. That would be for your safety and to have evidence in case you need to go above that manager to pursue some form of accountability. I hope this does not happen again and the management team does better next time.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the unprofessional conduct exhibited by the staff at Crunch Gym, which unfortunately led me to cancel three memberships in one day.

I have been a member of your gym for 5 month, and during my time there, I encountered numerous instances of unprofessional behavior, but the final straw was the behavior exhibited by staff who greet members at the door. Specifically, I had an unpleasant encounter with the managerr named Luther, who, while being polite and accommodating during the sign-up process, displayed rude and unhelpful behavior afterward. It is clear that his approach is only cordial when recruiting new members, but once the memberships are secured, his attitude changes drastically.

This change in demeanor, along with his lack of professionalism, left me feeling disrespected and dissatisfied with my experience. I was forced to cancel all three memberships that I had with your gym due to his actions and the general poor behavior from the staff. I regret that this situation has made it impossible for me to continue my association with your gym.

As a paying customer, I expect to receive the courtesy and professionalism that was promised to me when I first joined. However, the experiences I’ve had with Luther and other staff members have made it clear that my concerns are not being addressed. This has ultimately led to my decision to part ways with your gym and discontinue my memberships.

Started going here a few months ago. I have a home gym and already had a gym membership elsewhere through my insurance, but this location has a pool, which was my primary reason for switching.

Pros:
+The pool. I don't know of any other gyms in the area in this price range that offer a pool(Lifetime has a pool, but it costs MUCH more). I usually use the pool Friday - Sunday to swim laps, and it's never busy. The pool seems well maintained and clean. It does require the Peak Results Membership though. They also have a hot tub, sauna, and steam room.
+The HIIT Zone. A large open area with turf for HIIT type workouts. Battle ropes, push/pull sled, rowers, boxes, boxing bags, and a plethora of kettlebells/dumbells in this area.
+Multiple Power racks/lifting platforms/barbells/bumper plates. Not all commercial gyms have these. Planet Fitness definitely doesn't offer this equipment.
+Large amount of dumbbells and weight machines. Most of non-Crunch Fitness branded weight machines are pretty good quality.
+Lots of various cardio equipment

Cons:
- Some machines aren't as well maintained as others, or aren't as high quality, so some things are out of service more often than others. The rowers in the HIIT area need some maintenance or just need to be replaced. They also need to get some Airdyne/Rogue Echo Airbikes for the HIIT area.
- There's mostly just one of each machine, so you'll have to wait for the machine during more busy times. I've seen high schoolers come in and congregate as a group around the leg press for over an hour.
- The bench press racks don't have built in safety spotters, so be prepared to ask for a spot.
- Gets pretty busy in the evenings during the week. Be prepared to wait.
- Childcare costs extra ($20 a month) and has limited hours.
- They let vendors sell juice and stuff by the front door and once a guy was going around to people working out trying to sell stuff.

Overall, it's a great deal and would recommend for the price. If you need the childcare while working out, you might want to look elsewhere.

Update: I removed the con listing their weekend hours as a negative because they weren't open 24 hours on the weekends. They now are, which is great. If they'd work on the maintenance/cleanliness issues, I'd bump it to 5 stars.

I enjoy this gym - reasonable price and good equipment. The reason i have 3 stars is because when there is a class going on we’re not allowed to get dumbbells. When i tried taking some from heavy metals i was told no as well. I think the zuma room should be open as a free space with dumbbells when classes are happening.

Cleanliness in the establishment is terrible, bathrooms are always full of paper towels scattered everywhere.
Don't know how often they clean everything, but I have been here at all hours and it does not make a difference.

Was in a contract I didn't know I signed up for. That's fine, I signed the line, so be it. So read the fine print. Before the contract was up I spoke with management on the phone to not renew and stop all withdrawals. Multiple calls, multiple emails later, when the contract was over they were still withdrawing payments. Had the bank to stop payments. Now I just got an email from collections today, to which I responded to them with all my email evidence of cancelation and told collections they sold them a bad debt that I don't owe. They are lucky my credit is already bad or id be angry enough to sue them.

not surprised this crunch’s reviews are so low. Quite literally one of the most dirty gyms I’ve been to, but I’ve continued going bc it’s the closest gym to me. The locker rooms usually have trash on the floor, and smell bad most of the time. There has been in a leak in the women’s locker room for over two months now and it’s a complete eyesore. Not enough equipment to keep up with the amount of people that go to the gym, and the managers are so pretentious. For the amount that is charged for the highest membership, the gym should have far better upkeep. To add on, the gym closes at 7 on the weekend, and for lack of a better word, it’s stupid. I’ve already cancelled my membership, but you are far better off joining a competitors gyms.

I really enjoy going to this gym! It's crowded between 4:30pm - 6:30pm weekdays but never to the point where I can't get a full workout. I love the atmosphere! This is the most consistent I've been going to a gym and I'm seeing results. The workers always greet you with a smile and are willing to help and answer questions. The trainers don't harass you to sign up. The gym, lady's bathroom and locker rooms are ALWAYS clean. There are tons of equipment to use, and they are always working and in good condition. lol the gym is fine. Some machines break, it is what it is. It’gonna happen. Yes there’s a lot of kids after five but over all it’s a good gym for what you pay for. I’d say just turn the music down in the back room, it can be a little loud sometimes. Remember ppl, if you sign up for a gym it’s likely going to be a contract, you can’t just cancel your membership and expect it to be free.

nice place, i go in the evenings. It's super packed, and there are a lot of people everywhere. the place starts to relax around 1130pm. the staff is friendly and there are a lot of freeweights and other equipment available. the place has the usual massage chair, pool, and sauna. and a really cool selection of prework out and protein products.

This facility the employees dont wanna show up to work!!! Every weekend, it's late opening up. They're supposed to open at 7 on Saturdays, but I went there this morning at 745 o'clock and they still weren't open, we were still waiting for someone to get there and open the door. If I could give this place a NO star I would. I went to the facility and cancelled my membership. I was told that I had to pay for the fee of that month which I was fine with and he told me how many more days I still had to use the fitness center after cancelling. I told him was that it, he said yes and I left....2 days later I have a 59.99 fee. I of course called to ask what this fee was and why I was not told about it. He said it was an annual fee. Mind you I cancelled on the 16th. I started my membership on the 22nd of last year. What sense does that make. Not to mention I had medical issues where I ONLY used this place about 5 times and I had referred friends of mine to come here and these people could not give me my 60 dollars that was NEVER mentioned by them. Be careful when cancelling cause apparently it does matter if you go in person or you email cause I was asked this twice. So it might be a hidden fee as well. This place is a joke about customer service. I do not recommend it and I will make sure to let my friends who have the membership know. So unsatisfied with Crunch Fitness.

I've had nothing but great experiences at this gym. The price is extremely cheap compared to other gyms in the area, and this gym includes all the same amenities such as a steam room, sauna, pool, jacuzzi, tanning beds, and massage chairs. The gym itself has well maintained equipment, clean wipes close by all the machines, and plenty of machines. I've never had issues finding an open machine during peak hours. The locker rooms and bathrooms are clean and well stocked.

Hidden fees, don't fall for it. WAYYYYYYY to many kids here. Yes they have a daycare section but there are kids that are like 8-12 that come with their parents and I literally have to wait for them to get off the machine just to use it. There's just something about kids at gym that pisses me off.

Overall, for the price, it's great. However, when you go to cancel your membership, they refuse to cancel it for you. Even when you jump through the hoops, they lay out for you to do so. I had to come back from moving out of town to deal with a membership that wasn't canceled. Even though I did exactly what the girl told me to do, Crunch still wants to charge me for 2 months after I canceled. So BEWARE!! Overall, this gym is not worth it. I'd rather go to Planet Fitness.

The only reason I didn't give this place a 1 star is becuase of the friendly staff. I've trained at his location for almost two years and today I made the decision to finally cancel my membership. Why? When I arrived, there were no lights in the Ladies locker room and they had no facilities for females to use. My issues range from the disgusting bathroom (garbage piled up and dirty stalls), roaches in lockers, broken equipment seems to be the weekly standard, broken/missing carabiner clips, excessive dust bunnies, etc.
They say no gym bags on the floor but I have to carry mine because I keep back-up clips, handles, and wipes of my own because they always run out. Sometimes they dont even have paper towels or cleaning solution available. I'm sure every gym has it's 'moments' but cleanliness should never be the sacrifice.

This facility is a legitimate 3 out of 5 compared to its other locations. I personally don’t know if these gyms are franchised. But this location (Atascocita) is lacking in many levels. In comparison to the league city location, league city is definitely a 5 star worthy gym.

League city offers:
-free child care with premium membership
-better and cleaner equipment
- professional, courteous & educated staff
- good water fountains

Atascocita offers:
- child care at an extra fee (subject to increase)
- bad water fountains
- some employees are helpful with the exception of the individual that works nights, extremely arrogant and unprofessional. But hey he’s a minim wage type individual so it’s expected of.
- equipment is decently maintained and clean.

Ultimately it’s the only option around Crosby and Atascocita but just as they expect the monthly dues we should expect a level of efficiency and professionalism.

There is a reason you can only email this company for communicating with them! They DO NOT respond. When you call the front desk, the attendants will put you on a “call back” list. You won’t get a call back. When you email, they don’t respond because “they go to corporate” for process. Obviously the higher ups won’t respond. They have a phone number at the bottom of their website that you can call and when you do, it says “this number isn’t monitored” and no one is on the line. This is a horrible way to do business. It’s a sneaky and an avoidant way to make it seem like they will take care of your needs. Totally disappointed!

This place is a literal joke. I drove 30 mins to this gym to try the 3 day free trial because I wanted to try it out so I could find a new home gym because i recently moved. They told me I couldn’t try the 3 day pass because the address on my DL was more than 5 miles away. I was already annoyed because the customer service was terrible. I was standing at the counter waiting to be helped when I look around to see if there was for sure someone behind the computer and there was. So I asked if she could help me. When someone walks in you should greet them and ask to help. Not the other way around.

(Not that there are many) Quick maintenance on all machines and rarely out of order equipment. 😡😡😡DISAPPOINTING LOCATION AND STAFF…….. 😡😡😡. When I first joined I told I could use the room with the mirrors to jump rope ( not a hard plastic jump rope, (VERY flimsy, I can understand if it was hard plastic ) anyhow I’ve been doing it for 2-1/2 months then suddenly I was told I had to leave the room by a staff member, so I went to the manager and he said no you can’t jump rope in there. Then I said ok since I was told I could use it before I joined and now yall are telling me I can not, I’d like to cancel my membership and I’ll take my business to a new location that will accommodate my exercise routine. He said ok, then I said y’all going to refund me my whole year I just recently paid in full minus the three months I just used?……. He said oh you paid in full?………. I said yes, he said no we can NOT refund you the money……….. I was upset and tried and tried to get a hold or corporate but NO ONE AT CORPORATE WILL RETURN MY EMAILS OR CALLS.😡

I went for a trial version but it 💯 Needs some cleaning 🧼 If I could I would dip the whole gym in Clorox - shower got flooded from hairs clogging :( but as far as equipment gym seems having some cool machines - hygiene is top priority for me… so if for you it matters I do not recommend. But the establishment lacks in cleanness ladies restroom at ALWAYS dirty and not well stock with the essentials line hand soap or sanitizer the trash bin are full every time I visiting between 5-7pm. It’s so sad when businesses really have to fight you when it comes to stealing your money. I canceled my account along with my boyfriend’s before the year ended in 2023. Out of the blue 7 months later I’m charged an $87 dollar fee. I reached out and they told me this was their yearly fee even thought I have not stepped or paid a monthly membership since last year. They claim I froze my account and made a special 5 month request. I never did such thing and it does not make sense that my boyfriend’s was successfully canceled yet I made a special request. I had no intention of returning to this gym for various reason. After speaking to a manager who was extremely unhelpful and basically told me “too bad” I’ve disputed the charge with my bank. We never received cancellation proof for myself or boyfriend which I should’ve requested at the time had I known they were going to be this dishonest. When I last spoke to the manager and told him, if my account was frozen as they claimed to be to go ahead and cancel it now and to send me a cancellation confirmation. I still have not received that email. It’s a shady unethical business when they can just pull almost $100 out of your bank account with any notice without at least an upcoming charge warning and when the manager will not care at all about your side of things and the logics. I can see why this gym is rapidly decreasing in stars and increasing in negative reviews. Will not ever use crunch, and I hope this review can spare or help people in not getting getting their money robbed. Thank god for disputing charges

When this gym first opened up it was so nice and clean. Now idk who management is but this gym is the dirtiest gym ever! Sadly cause I know what it’s capable of looking like. Restroom are disgusting, the floor trash is overflowing, no wipes to ever clean the equipment. Weights are everywhere. Empty water bottles all over the floor in the gym. They have teenagers cleaning I’m all for teens having a job but they need a GOOD professional cleaning ladies in there to clean up and maintain it. Sadly this gym will go downhill if someone doesn’t go in and managed it properly.

Spoke with one of the owners today, Tim I think was his name.
I suggested making the hydromassage “self-service”. Here’s why:
After I run or worked out. I occasionally use the hydromassage. The most efficient way I can manage MY time is know if there is one available and how long is the wait. I’d leave if wait too long or if no one is in the counter.

However, they have a primitive way of writing name and phone #/membership # in a tabular type sheet of paper and someone usually tells you if one is available or how long the wait is.
My problem is sometimes the person telling you this gets occupied with other task or leave. And here you are waiting, and waiting…..for someone to tell you.

The names written in the tabular sheet offers no privacy- it’s out in the open. Also, they don't cross out names that are already using the hydromassage to keep track of how many more are waiting.

When I spoke with Tim. My suggestion was under the premise of efficiency in managing my time as well as his. TIME is important to some of us. I appreciate his response the I didn’t waste his time.

I really hope they can improve this process.
I would appreciate an owner or part owners with “CAN DO” attitude than one who is quick to say they can’t do anything about it or at least look into it.

These days people like me appreciate efficiency. My time and yours are valuable.

I’d give this 3 stars for now.

I am really trying to like this gym.
I began 9/2022 and coming in on and off.
They got rid of exposed sign in sheet for the hydromassage for everyone to see without regard of privacy to name and exposed telephone number. Kudos to that.
However, the sign in sheets for HIIT and other group exercises are for everyone to see.
In this time of identity theft and cyber criminals. I think this gym, needs to step up their technology. Enough of asking membership /phone #s, ink stamping on wrist, laminated cards etc.

Integrate & utilize QR codes, bar codes to reserve spots in hydro massage, red room & sauna etc.

Stop having front desk ask pictures, telephone no to use a damn hydromassage. Integrate the code to the hydromassage so we can just tap our phone and use it.
And here's the kicker, ONLY ALLOW PEOPLE whose membership INCLUDE the hydromassage. That is efficiency, your employees can do other things and we, your customers can do our thing efficiently. IN and OUT! Believe, there are a great majority of people like me who wants to do things efficiently due to time.

Close the doors in areas where, only certain members should have access, like the POOL, the SAUNA etc. Use a security key or our phone to access it.

21st century is about gimmicks and gadgetry. Crunch, get with the program.
Today, I came in, the front desk ask for a picture to add to my account and verify my account. After about 25-30 minutes I finished my HIIT and went to the front desk to use hydromassage and the man in the front desk had to ID me once again. You, guess it right- he wants my phone number again.
What a hassle. I left and thinking of seriously discontinuing my membership.

Only 2 out of HIIT Rowers work the last time I check, that INSTRUCTORS are no longer adding rowing to their work out.
The last time I used one ROWER during a HIIT , it gave out while I was pulling it. An injury waiting to happen.

I am giving this location few years in business if they don't improve I don't see them competing with other well run gyms in few more years. My guess is this frequent telephone number/ membership checking thing has something to do with poor revenue coming in. But it is also hurting customer service due to hassle it bring.
