I absolutely love this gym! I’ve been to many gyms before, but this one definitely stands out the most. I originally joined because they offer a Kids Club, and I was a little nervous at first since my baby had never been to any type of daycare. We have been coming here for over a year now, about 3 to 5 times a week, and he has adjusted so well. He LOVES it! The Kids Club staff is amazing. They truly care about the kids, they treat him with so much love, and they always keep everything clean and organized. They even keep a chart of everything, which gives me so much peace of mind. He has been coming since he was one and he is now two, and I trust them completely. The gym itself is always clean, the hours are convenient, and the manager and employees are awesome. They always greet you, and the customer service is top-tier. If you’re looking for a new gym, especially if you have little ones, this is definitely the place to go.

Big Mia’s cycling class and Barbell class is absolutely the best. Her Friday classes for the ride gets me pumped for the weekend. Super professional absolutely motivating and ensures everyone’s safety is priority. Her along with a few other instructors have helped me lose tons of weight and I’m very thankful. 🥹

This is one of the best gyms I've been to in the Dallas area! The atmosphere, vibe, and culture are all motivating, which keeps me consistent at this location. Jon is awesome, along with the rest of the management and staff!

Employees are not trained enough. Every employee has a different answer to the same question. Although its just a gym , its your job to know what you're doing !! I asked them to cancel my membership after I accidentally double booked / subscribed to 2 crunch gyms at once.
I was told on the counter my membership with CH was canceled only to find out I been paying 2 memberships for months because the employee whom I trusted knew what they were doing, didnt cancel anything!!!! They said legally they can't give me a refund because its a contract. So its my fault your employee is not trained ????? Because i did what i was told by the supposedly knowledgable employee. Unacceptable! There's mold on the restrroom ceiling that ive reported multiple times, the restroom functionality sucks and it seems like complaints / suggestions are just never heard or taken into consideration!!! When its our hard earned money who keeps ur business operating ! Its a shame. This is NOT the first time this has happened , there's plenty of complaints about these young untrained employees who tell you they will do something and fail to do so resulting in us losing money. I should be able to receive ALL my money for the month of september until now. Because yes , itd a contract and I signed it but again , said contract shoulve BEEEEEEEEEN canceled by your know nothing employees.

i got a membership here specifically because of the daycare and i love it! my little boy loves Carmen and is always super happy to see her. even on the days he doesn’t want to go in there. anytime i walk by and look in he’s either playing with toys and other kids or he’s following her around while she does her job. i had one incident there, told carmen about it and she told the manager and it was taken care of by the time i came back the next day. they also clean the toys every time they’re closing and it eases my mind knowing my baby is in a clean environment. i normally go the last hour they’re open because there’s less kids, im also always greeted by a worker and when i leave the always say “have a good day”. great staff here.

We've been members since January. I take my daughter to the daycare there in the mornings but I've noticed that they always put the toys up where they aren't accessible for the kids an entire hour before it closes, leaving NOTHING for the kids to play with for an hour or more. My daughter who's a toddler gets upset about it and they have told me she gets fussy with them. Well, of course she will get fussy when there is nothing for her to play with or do. They have also taken away her toy from her, which I allow her to bring in so she has something to play with. It's getting a little frustrating at this point so we are considering joining a different gym.

This gym is the definition of scammers. I am not sure why they are charging me more than the monthly membership fee. In addition, I took my debit card off the account added my credit card, they still charged my debit card. I called and the man told me that only my credit card was on file. I will disputing this with my bank. Im glad I am still a member of LA Fitness. They would never and I mean never scam their members. Run don't walk from this scamming "gym"

Had an absolute blast here - this place is like a candy store for gym enthusiasts! The ROC-IT Hoist equipment is my favorite. These machines are brilliant because they actually move your body through the proper range of motion as you exercise, ensuring perfect biomechanics every single time. You become part of the exercise motion itself, which accentuates the eccentric phase and targets greater muscle activation.
The lighting in this gym deserves special mention - those high lumen bright lights create such a vibrant, motivating atmosphere that instantly energizes your workout.
Love the StairMaster HIITMill - it's an absolute beast that delivers the most rewarding, strenuous cardio I've ever experienced. This gym has everything you need for an incredible workout!

Update:
Since my 1st review I've been attending Crunch Fitness- Cedar Hill. I joined for the workout classes. Due to full-time employment I would like to attend a 45 to 60 minute Cardio Fitness in the evenings. Crunch is limited on the various fitness classes available in the evenings.

The sauna is the main attraction for me and when I come sometime and in the women’s sauna. It’s a chance it will be down most likely. And that ruins my time at the gym. It makes me wanna go home but I have to push myself to still work outside. I wish they would train the employees on how to fix the sauna when they don’t get hot smh 🤦🏽♀️. I pay money to only be disappointed about the sauna. That’s my relax time. Also hey need to start sweeping and moping under the sauna benches. The same piece of papers(trash) has been there for about a month now. That’s the only thing and

Finished a work out today at 10:30- August 1st. Stood at the reception waiting on someone to assist with getting a Hydro Massage. Both receptionist were on the phone. There were two other receptionist in the back table free and available to help. We asked if they could assist us and they pointed us back to the desk with the two on the phone. We stood there for another 5 minutes to no avail and left. Bad service especially when two people are just standing there. Reception needs training in basic customer service. Especially taking care of current members.

Good gym with good equipment, decent amount of space, good environment, good price, and pretty clean. The Coaches/trainers are a joke though, unless you are just working out for the first time in your life. Would not recommend using them if you have worked out before or have an Idea of what you're doing.

Great gym, everything inside is so clean. You walk in. it's all clean. They have so much to do. Cardio, treadmill, steps, or bikes its all there. Lots of weight machines, people are very responsible and clean after themselves when they finish using the equipment. Lots of help when you sign in, and they have some awesome classes. I've been going just barely, but like the app, you can choose the class you want, set a reservation so easy. I gove this place a 4 out of 5. Also Lots of parking.

Pros: Great variety of standard equipment and plenty of equipment that is more specialized. I rarely ever have to wait on equipment. The equipment is well maintained. The wellness recovery options are nice too.
Cons: I wish the classes weren’t so jam packed throughout the day. I like to use the barre for stretching and I can usually only get in there on Friday when the classes load is lighter.

The gym has always been clean when I went ,Crunch is overpriced out side just using the equipment. classes that would normally be included in a gym membership they charge you to upgrade so I decided that I wanted to downgrade my membership just to the equipment membership because that's the only thing that I was using due to I'm not a fan of the fitness classes just not a fan of the format and all of that so I was told that there would be a $40 downgrade charge which is absurd so I did decide to cancel and I was told at the front desk that the manager was on break so I needed to send an email stating I will cancel so I get an email a couple of days later the only thing that he says is if you want to keep your membership where it is we'll give you a free month and just respond and he didn't say anything else to try to keep my membership and I didn't respond and say I wanted to keep my membership but I'm not paying a $40 downgrade fee to keep it so I of course got no response so clearly they don't care about keeping their memberships but hey get rid of one get another one so I'll just continue to go to fitness connection that I've been going to for years everything included !

I been going to this gym for like a month
Usually in the AM, lately I started going at night , i bring in a guest (my wife) & they ask for a phone number & all
Idk what employee it was or which time it was but he somehow saved my wife’s phone number & started texting her with a Textfree number saying that she was cute & that he couldn’t say his name just yet because he didn’t want to get in trouble
This is pretty disrespectful & unprofessional by the staff

A Caution for Beginners
I joined Crunch Fitness on a limited budget, hoping to finally start my fitness journey. I was upfront when I signed up: I have zero gym experience and just needed a place where I could learn how to use the equipment safely and build a routine. That’s it. What I got instead was confusion, frustration, and a deep sense of regret.
When I asked staff how to use the machines, I was told to “lean on YouTube.” No walkthrough, no orientation — just a dismissive suggestion to sift through hundreds of confusing, conflicting videos online. As someone new to all of this, that felt not only overwhelming but unsafe. Every machine has multiple variations and purposes, and trying to figure it all out on my own made me feel stupid for even asking and embarrassed when I tried.
To be clear: the staff is friendly — but friendliness doesn’t make up for the lack of support. If you work in a fitness facility and can’t guide someone through how to safely use your own machines, what exactly are you offering?
Then came the billing.
I was charged a yearly fee up front (after the draw of Sign up for free or reduced pricing - I can no longer remember - what a joke!), monthly fee, and now that I’m trying to cancel, I’m being told I’ll still be charged for another month I won’t even use. None of this was clearly communicated when I signed up, and the cancellation process is built to be confusing and discouraging. It’s incredibly disheartening to realize that what I thought was a step toward better health turned out to be an expensive mistake.
I can’t recommend Crunch to anyone who is new to fitness, on a tight budget, which in this economy is almost everyone, or simply looking for honest, supportive service.

💡 Better Local Alternatives (More Affordable + Transparent)
I haven’t joined these yet, but after doing my research, it’s clear there are more supportive and lower-risk options nearby:
• Planet Fitness – Cedar Hill
~$10–$25/month — beginner-friendly, free equipment orientation, no judgment.
• EōS Fitness – DeSoto
~$10–$30/month — 24/7 access, group classes, pool, large equipment variety.
• LA Fitness – Duncanville
~$30–$40/month — includes pool, sauna, personal training, and Kids Klub.
• Workout Anytime – Duncanville
~$20/month or less — 24/7 access, straightforward pricing, available trainers.
• Beyond Physical Fitness – Duncanville
Boutique-style gym with tailored programs and real guidance for those who need it most.
• City Rec Centers (Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville)
~$15–$35/month — solid equipment, track access, and support without the corporate fine print.
⸻
If I had known how many affordable, beginner-friendly gyms were right around the corner, I never would have signed up for Crunch. Do your homework — your money and your motivation are worth protecting.

I unfortunately have to cancel my membership. They now close the group workout room at 9pm due to issues with other customers which is part of the reason for my membership. Since I don't have that option to be in a more secluded area, I might as week go to a gym closer to my home. Never had this issues with the Addison Crunch gym. It sucks management chooses to penalize other patrons instead of finding a different solution.

I joined Crunch in February and started a 6-week weight loss challenge in March. Coach Redd was my coach and did a great job overall and I really enjoyed his classes and the form correction and motivation he provided. But I truly appreciated him taking the time to teach/demonstrate different stretches to help alleviate muscle tension and tightness. It may seem shall but it made a huge difference in my mobility and recovery. Thanks Chris!

Dillan, and Crunch Fitness
I am writing to formally express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding my experience with Crunch Fitness, and to request a full refund for all charges applied to my account since my initial membership cancellation request in December.
I joined Crunch Fitness after relocating to the area, specifically seeking a gym that offered personal training services. After doing my research, I made a thoughtful decision in selecting a trainer who I felt best suited my goals. However, in December—just before Christmas—I had to reschedule two pre-booked appointments. Following that, I was unexpectedly offered the option to train with a different trainer. I declined this offer and clearly requested that my membership be canceled, as the personal training was the primary reason I joined in the first place.
Despite verbalizing my concerns and cancellation request at that time, my membership remained active, and I continued to be charged. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue, speaking with various staff members and being told repeatedly that a manager or the general manager would call me back. Unfortunately, no one ever followed through.
It is incredibly disappointing that my membership was not officially canceled until today, months after my initial request and despite my repeated efforts to address the matter. I find this unacceptable and am requesting a full refund for all charges that have been applied to my account since December.
I have retained receipts and records of these exchanges, which can be provided upon request to support this claim.
This experience was extremely frustrating and has left me with a very negative impression of Crunch Fitness. I intend to share this experience with my personal and professional networks, including family, friends, and on social media, so others are aware of the lack of responsiveness and support I have encountered.
Please confirm receipt of this letter and provide a prompt update on the status of my refund request.
Sincerely,
Ty Jackson

Location itself is fine. But they're quite predatory. I was invited by a family member and I was given free admission, but they have absolutely spammed my phone every single day for weeks from different numbers trying to get me to get a membership there. I will not get a membership just because of this.
The place is clean. They've got a bunch of TVs and shit for you to use. The place is way too bright in my opinion. It's nice that they're open 24-7. It's overall just meh.

Worst part about the gym is if they have classes in the morning we can’t utilize certain machines when classes are in effect.
Then to downgrade a membership we are charged $35 to downgrade the plan to the basic price. Which is a big scam to steal the money regardless.I should have just stayed with planet fitness. Also they never have cycling class after work. Only on Saturdays and the instructor plays the same old playlist.
It’s 5:30am and all the machines are reserved but no one on the machine right now to utilize. You see how this ain’t right. Gots two sides blocked off and I pay $37 but because I don’t want to join a class so I lose out out that day.

This is not my home gym because I travel for work but I have been here a few times. I never had a problem until today. I was chased down by Jon the manager who accused me of not paying for my energy drink. I told him I paid for it when I checked in. He claimed the rep who checked me in said I didn’t pay for it. After walking back to the front and confirming with the rep that I in fact did pay for my drink, Jon then turned away from me and started helping someone else. I get people make mistakes but he didn’t even apologize for accusing me of being a thief or for embarrassing me. He didn’t explain why he assumed I didn’t pay for my drink. I am not sure how he is the manager when he is so unprofessional.

It would be nice to advertise issues of the facility on social media/text for the members that actually depend on using the showers prior to work

Joined towards to end of last year. I come consistently and really love the variety of equipment it has. However… they REALLY need to do a better job with cleaning! Out of the 5x a week I come, the women’s restroom is typically dirty 4x… I have mentioned this to both of the morning managers. I do abs everyday and those areas tend to have a lot of dirt and hair. I always make sure to lay on a mat but it still gives me gross vibes… Lastly, id like to add a suggestion of adding hooks to hang items on the restroom doors.

My mom has been hospitalized out of town since December 14 so I’ve been trying to cancel my membership. I called Crunch Fitness to cancel they told me to send an email. I got a response asking for my membership ID. I looked everywhere for membership ID. I logged in to my account and even looked at my contract and nothing. I called them back to ask them for my membership ID, they had no idea what I meant. I told them I’m trying to cancel, but they’re asking me for it. They said I could cancel with them over the phone. I spoke to Eric and he said I need to give a 30 days notice, but I’m still getting charged for February 23. That’s more than 30 days Eric! He even agreed and said that it was 31 days.
It’s impossible to cancel. They give you the run around. I will have paid for 4 months when my membership ends for nothing. I wasn’t able to go once because my mom has been hospitalized since August 19 really and I’ve become her caregiver.

I love the Tough Tread with coach Genevieve Eversley, one thought comes to mind when I come to her class...."If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you" I whish we had 3 classes a week! Monday, Wednesday and Friday, we have 2 right now so let's do Monday too!!

I enjoy it but it's not a flawless gym. Their workout classes involving the treadmill class takes up 90 percent of the treadmills. Kicking you off or joining their class if you are using one. I have to check on the crunch app to ensure I'm not doing cardio on the day they're running a class. Or risk getting kicked off a treadmill. Other than that. I enjoy this gym. I added the kids club hours pic for reference for the parents.

I love this gym! I've been coming here since they opened. Some of the classes fill up quickly but I just set an alarm for the classes I want to sign up for and haven't had an issue with booking. If I forget to sign up in time and it's full it's not a big deal. I just workout on the machines. All the different classes provided are pretty fun and a good workout. Depending on the class and instructor they will tell you to come even if it shows that it's full. I also utilize their Kids Crunch for all 3 of my kids and they always have a great time. I've seen the caregivers sit down and play group games or an activity with the kids. The gym employees are very kind and professional. I feel like overall the gym and locker room is pretty clean. I love the fact that it's open 24/7 so I can still come whenever I get the chance because some days are crazier than others.

Absolutely ridiculous that they have a group class that comes in during peak hours of the day and takes almost all of the treadmills from members (the whole back row) leaving just a few open for the masses of members that Crunch attracts with their cheap membership prices. It’s not like they’re on the treadmills for a short period of time either, they’re on it for a WHOLE hourish (?) long class. I’ve never seen this before as typically group fitness classes are done in a seperate room and/or with equipment that is specifically designed for group fitness classes that does not detract from the other members ability to workout.
This is very inconsiderate of the rest of the members and creates a poor experience of consistently not being able to get the equipment and do the workout desired.

I wish the fitness instructor would consider the other gym members and kept the music at a fervent volume. Even with noise canceling earbuds and the volume up, it's exceedingly loud.

I Do Not Recommend. I joined the gym before the actual opening date. I went in and toured the facility & was ready to move forward. I met with a PT to sign up for PT. Once started with PT by the second workout they let my PT go without a call or message or even a plan for when I came back in to do PT. They told me at my next appointment that they would find me someone else, all while still charging me biweekly as if I’m still being trained. By the next two visits I had a new PT that had to start all over on getting to know me and my needs so that day as well I didn’t get trained. She was nice so I went with it. She kept rescheduling due to her personal issues, which I wasn’t complaining because we all have things to come up. But then she no longer worked during my scheduled PT time. So that left me to have to get another PT. I called and spoke to a manager and he replied he could not cancel my membership or PT that would have to go through the PT manager and he would have him give me a call back. I never received a call. I have emailed the manager twice and still no reply back. I eventually just had to stop payment from my end. I Do not recommend due to the lack of organization and response when trying to get things taken care of.

It took me a very long time to find a gym that I felt comfortable at, Crunch has been everything but amazing… I love the friendly staff, they always greet you with a smile… I’ve tried several of the classes and my favorite so far is AccelerateHitt, Top it off, and Tough Tread, Genevieve and Coach K are both so awesome, I love their energy…. I’ve tried others but them three are my favorites so far… This gym offers several classes… I be so excited to come to the gym…. Thanks Crunch for making me comfortable and giving me a great place to work on my healthy journey

Since joining Crunch Gym in October, my experience has been greatly enhanced thanks to my personal trainer, Amanda. She has been nothing short of phenomenal. Amanda is incredibly motivating and flexible in her approach to workouts, tailoring each session to my needs while pushing me to exceed my goals. Her encouragement even inspired me to explore powerlifting—something I never thought I’d pursue!
While there have been some challenges with billing, management, and scheduling personal training sessions, Amanda has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure a smooth experience. She has stepped in where management has fallen short, demonstrating her commitment to her clients' satisfaction. Amanda is the primary reason we continue to return to this gym.
I’d also like to recognize the 5 AM front desk team for their kindness and positive attitude—it’s always a great way to start the day! The gym’s amenities, such as the sauna, hydromassage, showers, and laser therapy, are a great perk. However, there is room for improvement in the cleanliness of the locker rooms and sauna.
Overall, this 5-star review goes to Amanda—the best personal trainer ever! Her dedication, expertise, and genuine care for her clients make her an invaluable asset to Crunch Gym. Thank you, Amanda!

Love this gym! great community addition to replace the 24 hour fitness, Erik at the front desk proved helpful to all my inquiries. Allowing me full excursion throughout the sprawling gym on the condition that I stay at his abode.

Very clean and good staff. The only thing is the music is loud. the lighting is a like a hospital and the heavy bags are kind of flimsy. But the best gym in a 30 mile radius. . And the day care is 7 days a week. You can’t beat it.

This place is such a scam, I tried to cancel last month before I got charged and nothing was ever done, then I called a couple days ago and then I was told to all I had to pay was a late fee like for what??? I go up there today and then they tell me I have to pay for an annual right then and there before I can cancel, I’m just gonna let yall know if you’re talking to Colton the manager you’re for sure getting scammed in some type of way HAHA! This place is a joke!

Just visited this gym for the first time and I’m glad I switched from Planet Fitness to Crunch.
I love the additional things this gym has to offer that planet doesn’t like the sauna, hip trust machine and they have plenty of equipment to use so you never feel like you have to wait to knock out your work out.
I would rate 10/10 if I could! 😊

The staff here are all extremely nice, it is clear that the management needs help with overall gym culture etiquette. I’ve encouraged three of my friends to sign up because of Sylvester and how helpful and nice he is. He’s always willing to help and that’s why we keep coming back y'all need to give that man a raise. I’m assuming the bad reviews are due to management which I agree with.

Beware before joining this gym!
I canceled my membership just 4 days after signing up, but I’m still required to pay for an entire month due to their 30-day notice policy. On top of that, I have to pay the $60 annual fee. This is by far the most expensive workout I’ve ever had—I only worked out once! The cancellation process is unnecessarily difficult and frustrating. If Google allowed negative stars, I’d give this place a -5.

I love the gym, i love the classes, and it is so nice to have a babysitting area when i need it. I will say some of the class teachers are way more intense and i love that but i wish they were able to teach the 5 am classes as well. Some teachers are too easy for my liking. K is amazing and i would love it if she teached Belly, butt and thighs at 5 am or ride classes at 5 am.

You have to stay for 60 days, or you will have to pay the yearly fee and one month! I recently signed up for Crunch Fitness with a $1 enrollment deal without touring the facilities first—a choice I now regret. When I finally visited, I quickly realized it wasn’t going to work for me. They have only a few of the machines I rely on for a knee injury, and the setup is completely different from what I expected based on the former 24 Hour Fitness at this location. Unlike that gym, Crunch doesn’t offer basketball courts, and the layout is very open, with limited privacy. Even though Planet Fitness is smaller, their layout feels more thoughtfully arranged, with private areas that make the space feel more comfortable.
The locker room also lacks designated changing rooms, which is challenging for me as I come straight from work and prefer not to change in an open area. After seeing the facilities, I decided to cancel my membership. Unfortunately, it took a full week of calls and waiting to connect with a manager just to figure out the cancellation process, and I was charged for a month and an annual fee despite only being there for about an hour.
The only reason I’m not giving one star is because the manager, John, was very kind and helpful when I finally spoke with him.
If you’re considering joining, I strongly recommend touring this gym first to make sure it aligns with your needs. As a single mom, I’m hardworking and careful with my finances, so I’m disappointed I fell for the $1 deal and hope others can make a fully informed decision.

Be very careful when joining. If you cancel your membership within 60 days of joining you still have to pay the annual fee of $60. It's basically robbery. I worked out there once, discovered there was nothing new or better than EOS or my other gyms, so I decided to cancel Crunch. I have no problem with paying the monthly membership since I'd still have access to the gym for at least a month, but to charge me the entire non prorated annual fee is pure robbery. Also, if I'm able to join the gym without having to speak with or signing anything in person, I shouldn't have to make another trip to the gym to cancel. It's a hassle that I'm sure is designed to discourage cancellations, but it is what it is. EOS is better anyway (the secret is to work out early).

Beware! Typical gym bait-and-switch!!!!
Upon signing up, I was told that if I canceled before 60 days, I would not have to pay the Equiptment fee. Crunch even advertises this on their sign up sheet, in a misleading way. Long story short, I missed a small line item in the contract says you can’t cancel in the first 60 days.
There “no commitment, cancel anytime” and “no equipment fees for the first 60 days” are very deceiving.
The assistant manager was very polite and respectful in explaining the situation and after I realized the bait-and-switch, I took the L and paid the bill.

Giving a 4 stars for now only because It's still new. I tried out this gym last night. We are mainly interested in this location for the sauna and amenities outside of the workout stuff. However, having worked in several gyms I'll say it now.. being that it's a 24/7 gym, I REALLY hope this company can succeed at keeping it clean, well maintained & really choose strong staff that will take that seriously. Otherwise over time it will become an abused gym. Also, the music is incredibly loud. That was probably the most annoying part.

I am not sure why there are bad reviews for this gym… I just went for the first time today and I have never had a gym experience be as positive as this one. I guess the people who left bad reviews are expecting a silent gym or are just older folks? I would give this 10 stars if I could and especially Val who works at the desk :) She made me feel so welcome. I truly believe she is the reason that my visit was so nice. The energy is amazing and I love the volume of the music! I absolutely recommend the Cedar Hill Crunch to anyone and everyone! I was super scared to go because I’m new to working out and TBH I was dreading it. Now, I cannot wait to return. Every single penny is worth it!!!
