I came in on Thanksgiving looking for a gym that was open, and this was the only one I found. Unfortunately, the experience wasn’t great.
When I walked in, the AGM immediately said, “You know we only have 30 minutes left,” which I acknowledged — it was 3:21 p.m., and I was fully aware of the timing. At the front desk, when I asked for a day pass, he said, “Are you sure you want to spend $15 for 30 minutes?” I said yes, and he processed it.
I moved quickly through my workout and went to the sauna around 3:45 p.m. The lights were off and a couple of people were relaxing. At about 3:54 p.m., the lights were suddenly turned on. We were all confused, so I went to switch them off again to keep the calm atmosphere.
The same AGM came in and said, “I know you don’t like me, but the lights need to stay on — it’s policy.” That comment really caught me off guard. I asked if he was having a bad day, and he replied, “Nope, I’m having a great day,” but the tone felt confrontational, and the whole interaction derailed what little time I had left.
I’m on call for work today, so I understand the urge to wrap things up at the end of a shift (especially thanksgiving). I was already being mindful of that when I came in. I usually keep to myself and work out quickly, but the attitude I got here was unnecessary and made the whole visit feel hostile. If this is how he acts when he’s “having a great day,” I’m not sure what the experience would be like on a bad one.

I spilled my water and went to ask for a rag to clean it up. Instead of giving me a rag Cody went above and beyond and cleaned it up himself. I apologized a few times and he kept insisting that hes here to help.
This is actually the second time one of the employees helped me out with this same exact problem. The staff is excellent and always appears happy, one of the employees, I cannot remember his name but hes always cleaning give me knucks, we've never spoken a word to one another but hes always excited to do a fist bump.
The only downside is that its busy but I rarely have to wait longer than a few minutes for a machine. Honestly, there isn't a better gym in the area and you cannot fault them for being popular.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars — but only because of the manager
Yesterday I had a really negative experience at this gym. I recently moved here from out of state, so this location was completely new to me. I was on the public treadmill around 4:45pm (peak time) when a staff member in a pink tank top walked up to me, told me coldly that I had “five minutes left,” and walked away without any explanation. I was so confused; I had just gotten into my workout.
I wrapped up and approached her to ask what was going on. She told me she was a trainer and needed the machine for a class. I asked if I could use any other treadmill or cardio machine, and she said yes. I then asked why she didn’t just say that from the beginning and explain where to go, because I was in the middle of actively running and it would’ve been really helpful to know. Mind you, the gym is soooo crowded. I have no idea what’s going on this was the second time at this location. She immediately got defensive, gave a side-eye to her coworker, and repeated (several times) that if I “had an issue,” I needed to take it up with the front desk — very dismissively. She and another employee even giggled while I was talking, which was incredibly embarrassing. So I just started walking away to the front.
I went to the front desk, and she actually sent her coworker she was with to follow me as if to check that I was really going. While I was waiting for a manager, she came up to the front and started talking about me to another employee right in front of me. At that point I genuinely felt humiliated. I had already had a hard day at work, I’m a Type 1 diabetic who had just eaten sugar to compensate for cardio, and I only had 30 minutes to work out before picking up my son from daycare. It took everything in me to get to the gym that day. I felt so embarrassed even started crying. I kept getting side eyes from some of the employees there. I felt judged even though I was just trying to give her feedback that next time explain where or what is going on because it felt rude.
I’m giving five stars ONLY because of how the manager handled the situation. I don’t remember her name, but she was incredibly kind, empathetic, and understanding. She truly listened, validated my concerns, and even gave me a free month. Her professionalism and compassion meant a lot, and I want to acknowledge that.
To the employee who treated me this way. I genuinely hope you learn the importance of kindness. You never know what someone is going through, and it costs zero dollars to be respectful. Your attitude made the entire experience unnecessarily uncomfortable.
To Crunch Fitness management: if you’re going to reserve public cardio machines for group classes, you need visible signage or labels. I wouldn’t have gotten on a machine knowing I’d need to immediately get off. Expecting new members, especially people who just moved here from another state, to magically know which machines are off limits is unreasonable. I also pay for the most expensive membership so to just boot someone off a machine with no context is not cool. This entire situation was avoidable.
I won’t be returning to this location because it just feels uncomfortable now, but I sincerely appreciate the manager who handled everything with such grace. Thank you for being so nice. I left feeling a little less judged.

Parking is atrocious- sometimes 10 minutes trying to find a space to park. Trainers come and go so the cost to start new isn’t worth it. Bags should not be allowed on the floor as a holding space because they are a tripping hazard ☢️ and saving machines shouldn’t be a thing. The restrooms don’t seem to be kept clean often and are messy.
Classes fill up quickly so if there is one you want I’d recommend signing up 2 weeks ahead of time.
Too bad because this is a good location for me. May be leaving.

I loved this gym when it first opened, but I’m editing my initial review because it feels like things have gone downhill over the past 3-4 months. Yes, it’s busy & overcrowded-just try to give yourself plenty of time. The two biggest frustrations are that initially when equipment would break, it was fixed quickly. There have been 4-5 main machines significantly damaged/with signs on them that they’re unusable and broken mirrors for several weeks. Because of the high usage volume, many of the machines’ padding is splitting. With as much revenue as they’re bringing in from the swarms of people, they should be jumping on repairs. The other really irritating thing is the stupid “Tough Tread” class- the trainer blocks off over 60% of the gym’s treadmills way ahead of the class, in which they use them half the time. It’s such a waste of prime real estate gym equipment, especially with some of the participants just walking. They blast garbage music through some janky speaker & just ghetto and crazy distracting.

If you go during “typical” hours good luck getting a machine. Seems they do not have enough equipment for how many members they have. The only time this is not an issue is after 11pm or before 6 am

Before becoming a member here at Crunch I was at PF, and I can say that Crunch goes above and beyond on their customer service and the machines they offer. In addition to it Crunch is way more affordable than PF or any other gym out there. I am currently doing the $10 a month plan so it is definitely budget friendly as well as a beginner friendly gym!

Awesome gym with an even better vibe!
Crunch Gym has quickly become my favorite place to work out. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help — you can tell they genuinely care about the members. The facility is clean, the equipment is always in great shape, and there’s plenty of variety no matter your fitness level or workout style.
I love that the atmosphere is energetic but never intimidating — everyone’s doing their own thing, and it feels really motivating.

I think it should be stated that the gym is too busy to allow bags to be left out or machines to be “held.” I’ve seen so many instances, at various times of the day, where members leave their bags or keys on a machine while using another one. The gym is busy all the time, so this shouldn’t be allowed—it’s disrespectful to other members. You can do your sets on a machine and then move on to the next one when you’re finished. Or communicate with another member on how much they have left.
If the gym were slow, that might be fine—but it never is. This issue alone makes me want to cancel my membership because it feels like no one respects other members’ space. I get if you have straps or things you need in your bag. But don’t use it to “claim” a machine. One morning I saw at least 5 people doing this.
I would say this gym is nice with how many different machines they have. The atmosphere is okay. I like that they have new machines and the sauna but they filled the space too much.

I’ve been a Crunch member since January and truly enjoy the yoga sessions with Lindsey and Mattie. both are amazing instructors who make every class feel grounding and uplifting.
However, things take a turn whenever there’s a Ride class happening next door. The sound levels are extremely high, making it hard to focus or stay in the flow. What’s surprising is that other classes like Zumba or HIIT manage to keep their music at a tolerable volume, so it definitely seems possible to fix.
When I politely shared this feedback with the instructor, it was unfortunately met with sarcasm. Comparing Crunch to a yoga studio and mentioning pricing differences ($145 vs $35). For context, I’ve attended yoga studios that cost around $60, and they offer much more convenience and amenities..but that’s beside the point. Feedback should be received with kindness and professionalism, not mockery.
On a positive note, the front desk team was wonderful. They listened sincerely and made me feel heard, even if I’m not sure whether it’ll lead to change.
Crunch is a great place overall, but I truly hope management takes a closer look at sound control and ensures staff respond to feedback with the respect members deserve. ♡

The gym and the trainers are great . However what is horrible is the group fitness classes, the new and massively deafening loud speakers which produce so much noise that booms throughout the gym . It’s so terrible that it’s hard to exercise anywhere without your ears getting damaged . I understand the need of these speakers for group fitness trainers. However the volume needs to be reduced dramatically. Its not safe for the rest of us

I have checked-in as guest on my wife’s account. My wife already checked in. Tyler was at front desk and very very rude didn’t allow me to workout. There is no rule mentioning that primary holder should be in gym while guest is working out. Kids facility is closed on Saturday and Sundays. Tyler was on duty on October 3rd Saturday evening. He clearly showed racism. We are canceling our membership. Very bad customer service

This gym is pretty damn great, except for one major problem; it's just too crowded. A good problem for them business wise, but bad for members.
They're price is so low, which is nice, but draws in too many people for the space. Even though it's quite big, and the equipment is all really great, it just sucks to constantly have to wait.
The fact that they have around 15 free weight benches, which is a massive amount, and yet they're still all taken so often that I'm there, goes to show how overcrowded it is. One of the few times the obvious answer is to just raise prices. They'll make more money and have a better experience for members.
TLDR: amazing gym if you go during off hours. During busy hours, it can be quite frustrating.

This gym has everything except handsoap in the bathrooms. The employees wouldnt know because they aren't washing thier hands either.
For the past few weeks Ive given the heads up to the staff that the bathrooms soap dispensers do not give enough soap to wash you hands. As of this morning of this review... the dispensers have none. 1 staff member told me it was a battery problem. 1 staff member told me they cannot access the dispenser because a management company takes care of the cleaning of thier bathroom (Which would explain the moldy and mildew floors). 1 staff member even told me that they are out of soap (for the membership price thats crazy).
All in all these were all lies. This gym is packed full of people at any given hour of the day. Sweating, itching, wiping, touching ALL things! This gym has watered down whatever in various spray bottles all over the place. But the main thing this gym doesn't have is handsoap in one of the most disgusting gym bathrooms, you'll ever enter.
If you dont care about hygiene or germs. This gym will workout great for you. If you do care about hygiene and germs... you might want to go down the street to the next gym.
I can only rate this place 2 star because it fails in cleanliness, staff integrity and attention, as well as value for the money. It gets 2 stars for equipment and availability

I've been a member of Crunch Fitness for over a year now. Overall, I like the gym's equipment and the amenities offered. If one thing could change, I would like to see the VOLUME of the MUSIC lowered. I have asked the front desk several times over the course of the year and I think maybe one of the managers (?). Both said to expect music for the members attending class. I understand having music in a class and the class members rights to have it; however, when the music is SO LOUD that I struggle to hear the Podcast that I am trying to listen to with my ear pods and my earpod volume on high, as a member what are my rights? I walk the treadmill 5 days a week and when the treadmill class at the other end of the treadmills where I am at is sooo LOUD and the big garage type door is open and the smaller door as well allowing the MUSIC to BLARE, it's really ridiculous. You can even hear it on the other side of the gym where the hand held weights are located. I 100% know that I am not the only member who feels that the class Music should be lowered! Let's find a happy medium here. Please, please just adjust (LOWER) the class music volume! I had an issue trying to upload a video to show how loud the music is but it doesn't give justice to how loud the volume is in person. Please, please just adjust (LOWER) the class music volume! **No need to reply with contact an email at the gym directly when I've already attempted asking a manager and the front desk.

New Crunch goer here. Love the variety of equipment, cleanliness of the locker rooms and machines, staff friendliness, and just the overall gym vibe.
However, I absolutely hate the crowding, as most do. I've tried coming in at different times, but the amount of people is actually insane. I've struggled to get in a decent workout (not cardio) in an hour. They have a meter on their app that tells you what the capacity looks like in real time, but it's not accurate at all. I think Crunch should consider opening a second location in the area to accommodate the amount of people signing up at their gym.
I mean truly this is the only negative thing I have to say about this gym so far. I would cancel and choose a different location (would be less convenient as it would be farther from home), but they have a cancellation policy and I can't afford to upgrade to their peak membership to gain access to all their locations.
Regardless, please hear us out Crunch and open another location in Cedar Park/ Leander!

This is a great gym for about 100 people at a time… but there is 200+ people at any one time, which makes it impossible to use any equipment without waiting at least 5 minutes for it. I would love to go to any other gym but unfortunately this is the closest gym to my work. I would highly NOT RECOMMEND this gym for anyone that wants to workout without waiting on equipment for half of your gym sessions. I would put 0 stars if I could. P.S. there is not nearly enough parking spaces. It’s so bad with parking that multiple people have to park in the grass just to go to the gym.

This is hands down the best fitness gym I’ve ever joined. For the very reasonable cost of membership, the facility is vast with a large number of machines. Not only this but the memberships include red light therapy, aqua massages, tanning and I’m sure I’m forgetting a few. The classes they offer are great and the instructors all seem to be enjoying what they do.
The children’s Playcare staff is top notch and the playcare facility is unbelievable. A movie room, tons of various play activities and their policies for watching after the kids bring peace of mind.
The icing on the cake is the staff throughout. They are always smiles and super friendly. Rick the managing partner and his staff have put together a gym and culture that clearly his staff enjoy and it shows through their service.
Would recommend.

Being a Silver Sneakers guy means that I can workout at all the different gyms around me... that being said, I bounce between Crunch, Planet Fitness, and LA Fitness. By comparison, Crunch has great equipment and a decent atmosphere... but being a personal trainer of many years, I pay attention to the trainers to see what they do. Most gyms do their own little weekend course and certify their own trainers, something that scares me because of the lengthy courses I had to take to become an ACE Certified Trainer... and because I am acutely familiar with the true complexities of personal training. And though I've not had a lot of time to observe the methods of the "Trainers" at Crunch Fitness, I have certainly observed their mannerisms and have interacted with some of them to casually test their knowledge. And I can say they are lacking in the area of fitness theories. Now the question I ask is: Shouldn't a Personal Trainer look like a Personal Trainer? One of the Crunch Trainers has a pot belly! I like this gym, but would not want to be trained by any of these guys & gals.

Been a member from day 1. Both my wife and I. We are also still Golds members as this is where the Golds gym was for years. Though the equipment is nice...mainly because it's new, there are simply way to many people. My wife and I are regulars. She works out at 4 am and I at 3pm. Anytime is always packed. Especially when school is out. The young kids gang up on one machine and stay for 30 minutes or more. This gym is not big enough for this amount of people. And the music!!! It is way too loud!!! Especially when all the classes are going at the same time. Last Saturday I asked to turn the extra speaker down. They kindly did. Simply put, I want to listen to my music in my headphones! Not some other rap crap that is so loud it literally drowns my music out. And forget having a conversation with anyone when all that blaring music is going on. And yes...the parking absolutely sucks!!!

I’ve been a member at Crunch Fitness since it first opened, and despite the occasional crowds and minor equipment issues, I’ve genuinely enjoyed the facility. It’s been a consistent part of my routine, and as a parent, I’ve especially appreciated the convenience of Kids Crunch.
Recently, I had some concerns involving my children’s experience in Kids Crunch. It was a difficult and emotional situation to navigate, but I want to acknowledge that the staff truly stepped up to help resolve the issue.
Rick and Kelli were responsive, and Cody in particular was kind, thoughtful, and proactive throughout. I also want to give credit to the Kids Crunch babysitters—they showed real compassion and helped my children feel seen, safe, and supported.
No place is perfect, but what matters most to me is how problems are handled and in this case, I felt heard. I’m hopeful moving forward and thankful for the efforts made to ensure a better experience for my family.

One of, if not the best, Crunch Fitness gyms in the ATX. However, it suffers from the same issues that all other Crunch gyms do. OVERCROWDING! Wait times for equipment, battles for parking, not enough bathroom stalls, not enough lockers or benches in the locker rooms.
The equipment is really good and usually very clean. I actually wish Crunch would increase prices to thin out the herd and maintain their profits or use the increased revenues to open up more gyms.

The facility and equipment isn't bad but the staff, bathroom, and parking is abysmal. Staff isn't friendly and it seems more like a hangout for them instead of a job. The bathroom doesn't have paper towels but it has hand dryers that are 12 inches from the ground. I have to bend so far over to use them. The bathroom is always it of soap, Always! It's confusing how there is never anywhere to park, it's almost like they didn't plan to accommodate their max capacity. I guess they planned on everyone carpooling to the gym. The gym keeps commenting on how the best time to come is outside peak hours but I've yet to find out when that is. I've been at 5 a.m. all the way to 11 p.m. and it's always packed. Wish there was one in Georgetown to accommodate the area.

The main downside of this place is just how busy it gets; the car park is relatively small for amount of people the gym itself can hold, so finding parking can be challenging.

I enjoy going to this gym, but it's frustrating to make the trip only to be turned away because there's not enough staff for the childcare area. Childcare isn’t available all day, and during peak times, families are either placed on a waitlist or turned away completely. This is especially inconvenient for families with tight schedules who travel a considerable distance.
It would be helpful if the gym implemented a notification system, a reservation option, or staffed the childcare area based on expected demand and proper ratios. The gym is clearly busy—especially during the summer—so staffing should reflect that. We chose this gym for the convenience of childcare. It's becoming a huge waste of time to travel and be turned away. We'll likely be cancelling our membership.

Seeing trainers come in with children under 10 years old with no issues and when I decide to bring my son in for the 3rd time just to go to boxing bags I’m told he can’t enter the gym floor with him. So I guess the other trainer had some type of free pass or he was liked more. Either way it’s unprofessional to show favoritism. I will never set foot in a Crunch fitness again after this. I hope another better gym opens up in the future.

I have been going to crunch for some time now and I love it. The environment is amazing, the staff is always super nice, and overall just the best gym I’ve been to. They have great amenities if you pay for the peak membership which I HIGHLY recommend. You can have access to a hydro massage, red light therapy session, and etc. And it’s for a great price! Yes it can be crowded at times, but to avoid that just use the Crunch-O-Meter on the app, it will let you know how busy they are. In the restroom area you’ll have access to a locker room, sauna, and showers as well!

Good gym, but make sure that they sign you into the membership you want, if you don’t pay attention they will sign you up for the peak one and have you paying more money and whenever you want to switch to the want you asked for they will charge you again for that
Good gym but low quality staff
Watch out cause they only care about ripping you off

I wanted to share my recent experience with the personal training services at Crunch. While I genuinely appreciate the gym's facilities, particularly the squat racks and plyo section which allow for excellent workouts, I feel it's important to highlight some rigid rules surrounding their personal training program that potential users should be aware of.
When I was considering signing up for personal training, I mentioned to a representative that I had an upcoming trip and inquired whether it would be better to sign up then or wait until my return. I was encouraged to sign up immediately, which I now regret. Had I understood the inflexibility of their policies, I would have waited.
Compounding this, I also have a hand surgery scheduled, which will limit my ability to do barbell work. Unfortunately, the training sessions have a relatively short expiration period. Realizing I wouldn't be able to utilize the sessions, I attempted to cancel. However, I discovered a strict cancellation timeframe. Because I signed up earlier than I initially intended, my cancellation deadline had passed by a day or two, resulting in an additional month being added to my package.
Thankfully, I had opted for one of the smaller packages. Despite this, I ended up paying $450.00 for a single consultation session. While the gym staff I interacted with were sympathetic to my situation, they were unable to make any exceptions or compromises due to the corporate policies. I have observed the trainers working with other clients and they seem very capable.
My intention in sharing this is not to discourage anyone from using the personal trainers at Crunch. However, I strongly advise anyone considering their services to thoroughly understand all the rules and regulations before signing any agreement. It seems the corporate focus is heavily on financial gain rather than prioritizing customer needs in situations like mine.

The gym itself is nice but if you have kids and childcare is something important, your better off hiring a young kid. My 14yr old babysitter is more caring than the people at the childcare center.
My son is a pretty chill kid and has been watched by both sitters and at my church daycare and regular part time daycare as well. It takes very little effort to make him happy but the people in the child care center here will make ZERO effort. I am not sure if they even get up from the check in chair at all. Another child younger than mine was also devastated and the lady at check in claimed she made effort to help but I saw zero efforts being made, it was almost as if she was glued to her chair and didn't even like kids. The amount of staff in the gym doing nothing seems ridiculous, if they needed help caring for the kids in there it seems they had plenty but clearly they do not care at all about the kids here. Very sad. I cancelled my membership same day bc I have never seen such poor excuse for childcare. RUN from this place if you have children and wanted to use the childcare. They would be just the same left at home alone as they are here.

Good equipment selection. I only need to get two-months as I won't be in town longer than that, but this location does not offer short-term memberships, or at least was not honest with me if they do. I had to subscribe to their month-month plan which includes their annual fee. It is what it is. The staff were friendly, but Crunch's policy is not attractive to me as a customer.

Gotta give it the one star. Its actually pretty garbage. The Personal Trainers can be good people but are encouraged to pull some MLM type schemes to make their own sales so they end up pushing these bizarre products that cost like double the value from anywhere else and use double speak to try and promote them. The workouts that are given to you are these cookie cutter workouts that are Auto Generated for them. They are given these really weird rules to train you that are obviously illegal as well. They use wording that goes against literally the certification they have they say "This will be your prescription" meanwhile this is the exact wording they are legally not allowed to do. Meanwhile the gym itself is overpacked to a point where it exceeds safety. Its just flat out not safe to be here at all. You will get injured, people get into fights, etc. Avoid at all costs and maybe start building your own gym at home and educate yourself in fitness. I would rate it lower but I cant.

Just a bunch of idiots here . Came in to sign a waiver for my daughter to come with my son , called and told them the story how he has a membership. They said come in and sign it . Get there and this lady changes what she said on the phone says you have to be with her she is 14 . I said you didn’t say anything about that . Now I see why reviews are horrible here . 2 different stories my son was told just have your mom come sign it and that’s it .

Ive been a member at Crunch CP since it first opened last year. The only times that the gym is not abysmally packed is 10pm-2am or during the work day. Theres never any open machines and other members will sit on a machine for 30 minutes just on their phone. It has been months since I was able to get a complete workout in because of this. Groups of teens run around this gym treating it like a social club making it an awful place to be, you'll always feel judged and uncomfortable because of these punks. I’d rather pay more elsewhere to not have to deal with this and to be able to get a complete workout in.

parking is horrible - truly like the hunger games trying to get parking between 3-7 pm. a lot of machines but not duplicates of a lot of them which is annoying to have to wait for a 1 machine all the time.
second - classes are insane. why are we just letting whoever with whatever level membership just walk into classes willy nilly? what’s the point of having class reservations for hot classes of 15 people when i’ve had to sit through multiple classes of 25+ people (some of which don’t have the membership to take certain classes)? truly disappointing and if they’re just letting whoever into classes, you might as well just have the cheapest membership and just walk into all classes bc why not? also - they need to clean the hot room and sauna way better. so much random hair and crap floating around the hot room. but all in all crunch doesn’t care imo
truly so many things that this gym can do better on

The equipment is great, but the music is obnoxiously loud. If you ask for them to turn it down, they claim it is controlled by their corporate office. This is a great gym option in Cedar Park! Due to it being on the newer side (opened in the summer of 2024) there are a lot of members so they have peak times that are busier than others, you really need to come at different times to see what works best for you. Parking can be annoying during those peak times but the shopping center has additional parking all around. The group fitness classes are pretty fun and taught by knowledgeable instructors. The front staff is helpful and they do a good job of remembering regulars. The weights are top notch and there is a lot of cardio equipment to choose from. Saunas are in the locker rooms and always working. The value of this gym far exceeds my expectations, thank you Crunch!

No parking and extremely busy to the point where you have to wait for any machine or free weight. Not sure how personal training works here, because nothing is ever available to get a good consistent workout… Nothing but teenagers here also, on their phones, videoing everything they do and also they are extremely inconsiderate of anyone else’s time but their own... The gym needs to enforce rules for the gym floor and equipment if they are going to keep selling more and more memberships. Clearly this is what happens when you mix 10 dollar memberships and a 24/7 access… I rather pay 30-40$ and have gym hours 5am-11pm.. This only caters to the “business” and not the members..
My wife and I cancelled our memberships and are going back to our old gym instead…

I am a member at Crunch CP. I drove in today to get some running in at around 5 PM. There were people running and all the other treadmills were reserved for a class with little sign. I went to the front desk and mentioned there are no treadmills and I was told I could use one until the class started, approximately 20 minutes. After running for 5 minutes I was asked to get off the treadmill so I asked to cancel my membership. I was told that I would need to pay an additional month per my contract so I asked to talk to the owner. I asked if we could call the owner and the manager refused, and he also refused to provide me with a number to call the owner. I left with the owner will give you a call tomorrow.
This location could be great place but the management handled this situation poorly. Just be cautioned that equipment is reserved empty during peak hours on certain days.

The Base membership is the way to go here! The gym is clean and offers a lot of weight and cardio equipment. Pretty similar concept to a Planet Fitness. Crunch gets crowded! Beware, the Peak Results package (PR) is not worth the extra $. The only difference between Peak Results and the mid range Peak pass is that PR allows members to access Ride, Boxing, HIIT Zone and Yoga classes. Those classes are CONSTANTLY booked (Crunch classes require you reserve a space to attend) so it’s difficult to utilize them regularly as they fill up right away. The Crunch system doesn’t allow members to sign up for a class more than 22hrs in advance so you’d have to hop online early in the booking window to reserve a spot. Classes typically fill as soon as the reservations open for sign up. Majority of classes are scheduled for weekday mornings and evenings during peak hours and when parking is at a premium. Hopefully Crunch adds more classes especially during the non-peak hours which would be good for members who work remote, don’t hold reg biz hours, students, moms etc. This may open some space up in classes held during peak hours too. If fitness classes are important to you consider other gym options or seeing if you can do a free trial week before joining Crunch so you can assess accessibility to the classes. The Base membership at Crunch is less than a third of the monthly fee of the PR membership and a good deal for what you get access to but the other membership plans may be a bit of a waste given the crowds here and difficult accessibility to classes.

Crunch Cedar Park is one of the best gyms I’ve been to for the price:-). The staff is welcoming, the facility is relatively clean, and the equipment is mostly well maintained. Whether you’re a beginner or an athlete, they’ve got everything you need for a great workout.
The community here is what really stands out. The front desk are friendly and knowledgeable, and the group classes are fun and energizing. Everyone is supportive, creating a positive atmosphere that keeps you motivated.
For the price, the value is unbeatable. With perks like red light therapy, hydro-massage beds, and recovery options, they go above and beyond. If you’re in the Cedar Park area, this gym is a must-try! Five stars all the way.

Parking is a hassle especially in the evenings on weekdays. Most instructors for the group classes are great but few lead more intense workouts that are difficult for a beginner/moderately athletic person to follow or keep up with. I find few instructors too fast which allows me no time to get the right posture while doing weights. App shows 25 people capacity however walk-ins are allowed. Classes are way overcrowded with limited space to move around. Needs better monitoring of who is really signing up for the classes Vs who takes up the spot without signing up. Gym floor is good, I like the hydromassage and having crunch kids is helpful when I need it. 3 stars for these facilities.

I recently joined this gym, but unfortunately, my experience has been quite negative.
Registration and Cancellation Issues
While registration was effortless, canceling my membership proved to be extremely difficult. The representative assisting me with the cancellation was rude, which only added to my frustration.
Poor Training Session
My initial one-hour free training session was disappointing. The trainer seemed unprepared, asking me, "What do you want from me?" and rushed through the session, which lasted only 15 minutes.
Sauna and Facilities
Although the membership includes sauna access, the environment was disrupted by loud music and improper usage. Additionally, the cleanliness of the restrooms fell short of my expectations.
While exercising, I felt surrounded by individuals displaying racist messages on their clothing, which contradicted the gym’s stated values of positivity, inclusivity, and fun.
Overall, I advise seeking a gym that prioritizes member comfort, safety, and inclusivity.

I've noticed some women entering the sauna with their shoes on, tracking in dirt and other contaminants. This creates a risk for anyone walking without and with in there, as it mixes outside dirt with the warm, damp environment—ideal for spreading infections. I recently went to Crunch Gym for a trial with the intent of trying out their sauna, but I ended up walking out. While the staff was friendly, I was disappointed to learn that several amenities, including the hydro massage, were not available as part of the trial. After walking through the facility, I felt that cleanliness was also an issue. The locker rooms had an unpleasant smell, and the sauna itself smelled so bad that I couldn’t even stay in it. These don’t seem like short-term issues but more a general reflection of the facility’s upkeep. Unfortunately, this experience was enough for me to decide not to pursue a membership.

Attempted to see what crunch fitness had to offer today at the cedar Park, Texas location. They asked me to sign in for a tour but wanted all of my personal information in order to do so. I gave them an option of gaining a new membership and compromising on some of the personal information or walking away. they not only let me walk away but they smiled as they essentially told me to get lost. When a business cannot treat you with respect and common sense before you have even done business with them, they do not deserve your business. I don't share my date of birth, email or phone number with anyone except as where required by law, or with an entity that I've decided to do business with. I will not provide that information up front for a tour and then have that personal information sold repeatedly to other marketing companies. Nor do I want the spam that will certainly follow from crunch fitness whether I sign up or not. I deal with professional business liability all of the time and none of these personal identifying data points are required to comply with any terms and conditions of a liability insurance policy. They can simply check your ID to make sure you are over 18 and take down your name from your driver's license. That is all of the information required to be covered. The rest is for their marketing department. It's time people stop allowing these companies to abuse your personal information.

I really liked this gym, but there are hidden fees to the monthly membership fees. I stopped going to the gym due to my daughters health issues and not having time, they try to charge my card EVERY SINGLE DAY $ 217. For a membership that was only supposed to be $29/month. Seems strange that they would be trying to charge me that much every day. When I called and tried to cancel, they told me they wouldn’t cancel over the phone and I had to come into the gym. I tried to tell them I’m not able and I’m not able to make it to the gym, and they don’t care so I just blocked them from charging my card. The brand new gym is nicely equipped and set up, but way too little parking and it's packed if you come to work out after work or in the evening. I wish they didn't offer the $10 membership as that would thin out the numbers... and make parking more available.

Has so much potential. Clean, tons of squat racks, and multiples of various machines that most gyms only have one instance of. Plenty of dumbbells to go around.
However, a huge mistake during the gym planning was having only two leg extensions. The one leg extension machine is Hoist brand, and most people don’t use that one. There is frequently a line with 2 people waiting their turn for the leg extension machine.
Also, come during the off times, and you’ll have a much better experience. Gym is the busiest I’ve ever seen in this area during peak times

Torn if I should cancel my founder membership or not. My schedule has not worked out for me to come here regularly. I finally came to use the sauna and it was really crowded! New facility and I’m happy to see many people with healthier lifestyle here in Austin area but hesitant to come with the crowd! Great place to work out if the crowd doesn’t bother you. Clean locker and restrooms.

Beware This place is an absolute scam. Do not trust them with your payment information at all. I was charged for multiple charges without authorization.
Miranda is unprofessional and rude and should not be in a position of management. She immediately came out of her office defensive instead of listening to my concerns or even trying to be helpful.

Update as of September 2024, after gym has been open for several months: class registration process and filing up within seconds of registration being open is still a major issue with no waitlist, still. The place is super nice, but the class registration process via the app could be much better. You can’t enroll until 22 hours before the class and for simplicity purposes, at least make it 24 hours. Also, there is no way to mark favorites and worst of all, there isn’t a waitlist function, so you have to constantly check to see if spots open up for classes- very frustrating, especially as the waitlist and favorites features have been in existence on other gym apps for years, but not this one. Much improvement desperately needed. And more hot flow yoga times please and more bikes in the spin studio!

Gym is nice, decently clean BUT they have way to many members, they won't say no to new members. Every machine is taken when I go, and I go in off hours. Better off doing pushups in you house.

Saturday workout was the best. Will Carter, Crunch trainer, talked me into trying his AccelerateHITT class after only taking cycle classes. It was great today! Will masterfully handled one of the largest circuit style classes I have ever participated in. He had 35-40 people in a tight area. We all were able to do the 10 stations he had set up and all left tired and sweaty. Then we moved to his cycle class, and he brought it once again. I came home spent. I see why you are so popular and there is a demand for all of your classes. Overall, great job, Will! I see why you are recognized as a top coach for Crunch!

I have tried to cancel membership 2 times now. I signed up when the gym opened and told me I would only be charged 32.00. And I keep having to dispute a 86.00 charge from this gym every month that I did not approve of. This gym is a scam do not go here, do not give them any money.

I was going to give it a two star but that would’ve been unfair. It is a clean gym, with loads of equipment, but no matter when you get here, it is very busy. To the point that you can’t really workout with equipment you want. Water massage is nice. Staff is OK. I am afraid though because it has an inexpensive basic membership it just gets too busy, at times it might be a fire hazard, IMO. I hope management checks number of people in the gym.

The parking lot will always be full no matter what day and time, don’t let them fool you. Classes fill up within seconds. They don’t offer any classes during lunch time or mid morning or late afternoon. Only lunch time classes for seniors. I am very annoyed that I cancelled on 8/31 and still am being charged for September even though they said it would be a no hassle cancellation when I signed up. Downside of this gym is your little one can’t go to childcare until 1 years old. As a single mom this did not work for me.
