I called and the girl at desk said yep it's here on the counter I said I would be back in 2 days for it put my name on it... when I returned for it the person at the desk said we dont keep them we get too many.. so basically they throw them out so dont leave your lock by mistake. love the gym but that was not cool...

I go to the gym early in the morning (2:30)and I have never been greeted by a Happier Person. Keyla who works there front desk makes my day. Also the gym is spotless. There's another young lady (Nikko) that never stops moving. She either vacuuming, wiping down equipment or picking up weights. Between the two, the gym has found a perfect team. The right amount of equipment to work on whatever you want to improve on and a Sauna. I going to be a member for a while.

Beware of a gym that when you cancel long before your next month their policy is to charge you for another month although you don’t live in that town or near a crunch. Very disappointing I was there 3 years and to end this way. Will never get a gym membership here again. Rep at the gym said it’s like if you go on vacation you still pay your mortgage. No lady my home holds my stuff. Your gym does not!

I really like this gym! It’s super clean and has a good vibe. The only thing I don’t love is that the Zumba room feels smaller now and there aren’t as many mirrors, so it’s hard to check my posture when it gets crowded. There is only 3 stalls in the bathroom and the Sauna can probably only fit about 5/7 people without being squeezed in there, that’s a little crazy considering how many people are at the gym at the same time

Huge shout out to Kaeyla at the front dest! She ensures to greet me every morning with enthusiasm. Shes also keeps me accountable each morning with encouragement and maintaining a humerus nature. She is a natural leader none the less.

Moreover, her teammate Niko ensures our gym is clean and in order. I utilize the cardio each day and I come in it smells fresh and disinfected. My morning exercise experience wouldn’t be the same without them. 🫡✨🏁

This new crunch is nice, but the real reasons of why it stays so on point is thanks to 3 people on the staff Keyla, Nikko, and Zeff keep this facility running with how hard they work. Keyla is ALWAYS the first person to greet me with a smile, and Nikko and Zeff are ALWAYS consistently making sure it’s clean and it always feels good working out while they’re on shift. If they’re reading this I want yall to know YALL ARE APPRECIATED THANK YALL SO MUCH!! Yall are really the only reason I’ve been coming to Crunch all these years!

I come to Crunch just about 5 days a week at 0400 daily. Outside of Crunch being a great place to workout, there are two women there who just really go above and beyond to keep Crunch members excited to be there, Kiela and Nikko (im not sure if spelled their names right). At any give moment you will hear the brightest "GOOD MORNING" followed by someone's name, and some words of encouragement. I dont know if they know or understand how important that is. The amount of time and care it takes to learn someone's name and recognize their faces, just to say hello BEFORE that person scans is impressive and deserves to be recognized. They greet each person with a smile and warmth daily. They are apart of what makes Crunch great and I appreciate them for being who they are. Keep up the great job ladies.

If I could give Keyla more than 5 stars, I would! She is truly the definition of above and beyond. One night around 3am, I was having major car trouble in the parking lot — completely stressed and unsure what to do — and Keyla, the overnight front desk associate, didn’t hesitate for a second to come outside and help me. She stayed with me for nearly 30 minutes, trying everything she could to help jump my car, all while keeping me calm and making sure I felt safe and cared for.

That kind of compassion and professionalism is rare. Keyla didn’t just do her job; she went out of her way, in the middle of the night, to make sure a member didn’t get stranded. She’s always warm, welcoming, and brings such positive energy to the gym — she genuinely makes the entire environment better.

Fantastic Gym with an All-Star Staff!
I've been a member at Crunch in Killeen for several years now, and it's easily the best gym I've ever joined. The facility is always clean, the equipment is top-notch, and there's a genuinely positive and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.
What truly makes this location stand out is the incredible staff, especially Nikko and Keyla. Every single time I'm there, Keyla greets me with a huge smile and positive energy that's infectious. She's always so encouraging and goes out of his way to make sure members are having a great experience.

The new GM Garrett Melugin's presence is non Existent !! I hardly see him out the office and when he is out he's very stand offish. Chris would never. If it wasn't for the girls during the night time I probably wouldn't come to this gym period. Keyla and Nicolé really set the tone of a welcoming environment which is very important at the gym and are very friendly.

Im hoping i just came on a bad day because i love the new location and how spacious it is but i dont know what was going on this morning.
1.) no toilet paper in the stalls, just one big roll out and on the floor with god knows what on it.
2.) absolutely zero soap in any of the dispensers. And keep in mind i was there for over 2 hours. Neither the toilet paper OR the soap was refilled the entire time i was there.
3.) i dont know if the nautilis multi cable machine was just set up wrong but it was absolutely brutal trying to workout with it. It keeps getting caught on the way down and up and i tried almost every cable on that thing, maybe 2 or 3 worked smoothly. In my opinion it's just the brand, ive never had one of those work properly anywhere ive gone.
4.) i wouldn't say im a clean freak but out of respect i like to not leave the machine i just used soaked in my sweat so i always wipe it down after. Well not today because it seemed that only 2 paper towel dispensers had paper in it. Id like to point out again that i was there for OVER 2 hours. Walking from dispenser to dispenser just trying to find some paper towels was annoying and i could see other people getting frustrated with it as well.
5.) i was going to let all of this go and not leave a review, but after all this to come back to my locker and see a cockroach just chillin in the corner making its way towards my bag just disgusted me to no end. The workers were nice and greeted on the way in and I absolutely believe this was just a bad day but holyyyyy when it rains it pours.

Exceptional staff — handled a high-stress situation with care, professionalism, and heart.

My boyfriend and I were working out at Crunch Killeen when a serious parenting-time dispute occurred. The children were in the Kids Crunch area when their other parent arrived unexpectedly, without coordinating or notifying anyone, and removed them without checking out properly. The kids were visibly and audibly distressed, and the situation escalated quickly.

Every single staff member — from the Kids Crunch team, to the general manager, to the front desk and even the cleaning staff — was immediately responsive, supportive, and calm under pressure.
• The staff called 911 right away
• Notified the GM and followed proper protocols
• Tried to de-escalate and ensure all children were safe
• Alerted the parent who had signed the kids in
• Stayed calm, supportive, and communicative throughout the entire event

The GM was incredible — they stayed on the phone with police, helped coordinate everything, and made sure this was fully documented and handled with care. The Kids Crunch team deserves special thanks for being alert, compassionate, and doing everything they could to support the kids in that moment.

Even other staff members not directly involved stepped in with support and kindness afterward. This could have been a traumatic experience, but the way the Crunch Killeen team responded made all the difference.

We are incredibly grateful for how seriously they take child safety, communication, and emotional support — not just for the kids, but for the parents too.

Thank you to every single person working that day. You all went above and beyond. We will never forget it.

I am seriously disappointed and shocked by crunch. My husband and I have been members for over 5 years. My husband called to cancel his membership, he was told he needed to come in, mind you this was months ago. He went in a months ago to speak to someone and they told him they canceled his plan. Over the past few months we kept getting charged $40 here and there, we called and told them we were getting charged but was told his membership canceled and we should be good. We just got charged $173 and my husband spoke to the manager. Manager literally told my husband that he didn't care what we went through because without proof he wasnt giving us a refund. Such a disappointment as I truly thought this was a better gym with better values. We lost our jobs and all we needed was to cancel one of our memberships due to being on a tight budget. Not only did this manager not help us, he pretty much let us know that he did not care, he exact words were I DO NOT CARE, one way or the other. I am canceling my membership ASAP and no longer will be going here again. I will be sure to spread the word on what happened to us here. I usually refer a lot of people to crunch but not anymore, so disappointed and disgusted.

This place definitely got a face and butt lift (BBL, if you wil) but the natural way 😅..

It looks great, very spacious and love every bit of it. I Can workout and walk around without feeling like I have to sanitize my shoulders walking into people.

Only real complaint about this place is the restrooms and showers. Only 3 stalls and 3 showers for more than 100 people at a time is just poor consideration for its customers.

I used to really like this gym, the new facilities are nice. My big issue now is the amount of people filming in the gym. There were 6 people in there with tripods filming. I am over it. I do not pay for my membership to be the backdrop in people’s videos and I don’t get paid to be an extra.

How can you build an entirely new gym with the expectation to have more patrons and not increase the amont of restrooms? Am I the only one with problems with billing and the new app?
Is frustrating to have to upgrade to a higher plan to get the new classes. They tell you that first month is free, but the “system” charged me anyway. I went to the the front desk and got it fixed (so I thought) nope, I couldn’t reserve any classes and then I got charged again. Their fix was to tell me that
1. I would get my money refunded in 3 to 5 business days.
2. Call the front fesk to reserve the classes that I want.
As of yet no refund and no one answers the phone -less return my calls; today I called 6 times to reserve Monday’s HIIT class and with my luck the class will be full

I canceled because I was moving out of state and they charged me for the next two years even though I was assured in person that my membership was canceled. Guest does not get any benefits even if you pay for the most expensive package and not use the gym amenities. Your guest will not use them-talking about hydrotherapy and all that. You have to go to your home gym, fill out a paper, and have the manager mail in the form. This whole process can take a month they said. Why can't I just changed my home gym in the app!

Been coming here for 3.5 years. I love this gym but it’s not perfect. Here’s why. It’s not the personal trainers or the normal staff that make it “bad”. It’s the front desk people, the class leaders, and some people that come here that drop this gyms rating. The front desk people are either always on their phones or flirting with the customers. Some (mainly one but I won’t call her out on here) have no manners or tact. The class leaders have this headset microphone that they scream in and turn it WAY up along with the music to where you can’t even hear your own music. They block off like half the gym and get mad when you try to get equipment that they aren’t even using for the class. Lastly some people here sit on machines for way too long or they take multiple machines. Also loads of people have tripods and cameras like they’re influencers. They will also talk with their buddies while hogging a machine.
Overall I’m gonna keep coming here but if any of these are deal breakers for you I recommend going to field house or trufit.

It's not the worst thing to see but sometimes this place is just too packed. The cable machines especially are a bit of a waiting around game until you find one. People here are pretty much what you make of them and they're cool, nothing wrong there. Still, it's got the equipment you mostly would want for yourself. It’s a great gym with a lot of space and equipment and it’s always pretty clean and organized. The only issue really is the group fitness classes that take place in the middle of the gym during the literal most busy time. They take up like 25% of the area (mostly basically all the free area for people to workout not 2 inches from each other) and take up a whole bunch of equipment. This obviously wouldn’t be a problem if there was more than 6 people in the class (real number of people in class today). Not only that, but when the trainers are blocking off their area for their class they will get right up in your space and not say a single word. You’re working out and then literally can’t walk a foot in front of you because now that area is all blocked off. As someone who is a trainer and has taught fitness classes, I would literally never take up that amount of space unless it was absolutely needed for the amount of people. It honestly just feels inconsiderate to other gym goers who pay to use the gym as well.

I just started at Crunch Fitness (CF). I think this gym is great! Well worth the money. CF is clean and they are good with equipment upkeep. People who come here are serious about working out.
And.... it gets better. They are expanding into the former Con's building next door, adding 50K square feet!!

Overall I really enjoy this gym. I only have 3 semi-complaints which is why the 4-star instead of 5.

I go pretty early in the morning to miss the crowd. The gym is definitely packed in the evenings/night. Hopefully the expansion will help with that though!

Some of their group classes make the gym a nightmare, blasting separate music than what is coming through the gym speakers along with the trainer on microphone. This isn’t like in a separate enclosed area, these classes take place in the HIIT area of the gym. It becomes a bit of a sensory nightmare. Also hoping that the expansion will solve this problem!

I was super disappointed that they no longer offer spray tanning. I am borderline translucent and the spray tanning at the gym was super convenient.

Got into a contract didn't read too much, I asked The person if there was a cancellation fee, they told me no. Ton of scheduling issues with trainer, I cancel they charge me for the sessions I later in the contract, brought up the earlier thing saying I wouldn't be charged anything, they told too bad it's in the contract.

Extremely upset, on top of that they just took away all my sessions that got canceled by the trainer, saying they couldn't give me them or use those sessions to deduct from the cost they're charging.

Crunch fitness in killeen is probably the best gym in the area. Has plenty of space and equipment. The staff is great and friendly. Depending on the time of day you go it can get pretty packed though. Aside from the actual gym there are a lot of members that hog weights and equipment by putting bags down and stuff with really even using it so that's kind of a bummer, but overall I love it!

Besides the officers who just can't bear to workout in their designated chunk of the state, it's okay.

Cw2 Harrison taking business looking phone calls with Frazier counselor or something? He was in the shower while he was on the phone. There's no rule against phone calls in the wash room so Im complaining on here. There should be an extra fee for military stationed nearby to use this gym.

And more strict rules around use of phones in the bathroom. There's already music, if you have a phone call go outside.

I love the equipment of this gym and it’s got everything i need. Only thing that absolutely sucks is their group classes when you’re trying to have a work out. They use a microphone that the instructors yell into with music blasting. It makes it hard to listen to your own music and focus on your workout. They also block off an entire area of the gym and the instructors get upset if you try and go grab equipment you need. If they moved classes into just the rooms, this would be a 5 star gym.

Definitely check the schedule for when classes are so you know when to avoid working out.

UPDATE:

I’m pretty sure they turned up the volume to the microphone and speaker for their dumb classes. Avoid this gym if you enjoy any peace during your workouts.

When we joined and when it came to set up auto pay, the rep instead of using the debit card she came up with some bs and instead asked for the routing number and account info. What she didn’t tell us was the money would still be taken.
I tried to get them to stop this they would not. Claiming the balance needed to be paid.
I end getting hospitalised while I was there the bill from crunch fitness would continue.
I came with the diagnosis of lung cancer. The repr called me and was adamant that I pay at that time $300. I explained to him and keep saying pay the balance then we can change the method of payment. He did not give a dam anything then wanting the balance.

So much for you don’t have to pay per month. That only happens if they use a debit card. In this case, she said it was better but safe for whom.

I used to use the Waco Crunch, and compared to the Waco location, Killeen’s Crunch has some major areas for improvement. There is almost no floor space for functional training, and additionally it is all cut off and used exclusively for exercise classes multiple times a day. In Waco’s location for instance, there is so much floor space that they can rope off space for classes and still have an entire side of the building open for functional training.
Killeen facilities are clearly worn down and aged; and despite trying out this gym for 2 months at multiple times of day, I have yet to find any time where it is not crowded from shoulder to shoulder (and yes that includes the 10:00 PM - 5:00 AM window). Waco’s Crunch has definitely spoiled me with its size, cleanliness and space even on crowded days.

The new elliptical machines are not erganomical at all. It’s like they were designed for people 5’5” and below. The new layout it not good and the gym seems to be leaning towards purple brand with the addition of multiple stair masters that get little use. While us that treadmill mill and elliptical were left out of this thought process.

Kinda gay they wanna put a 55$ random fee once a year for literally nothing considering I was gonna already pay over 30$ for a membership a month affordable my ass, scams, sad that cant even goto the gym without going broke, and not letting my friend cancel her membership she now owes 300+$ which is bullshit and I hope yall get shut down sad excuse of an experience as a first time gym goer (that response is meaningless when we already gone through that process through email and in person for my friend) dont reccomend coming here if your trying to not go broke or be in debt to a gym of all things

Can you guys fix the shower heads in the shower booths in women’s changing room? One doesn't even have a shower head water just comes out of the hole on the wall. the other has shower head that barely works. Also found a cricket in the shower today. Please and thank you.

I dont write many reviews, but the audacity of certain people causes me to. i come to this gym on a regular basis and i dont appreciate my business being spread. the short asian women who works out there is always around trying to talk and of course we made polite conversations but when i feel like im in middle school is when i draw the line. we are grown adults and for my business to be spread to the point where other people feel the need to come up to me is insane. there needs to be boundaries and for crunch to accept such childish behavior is absolutely baffling and unacceptable in my opinion. please rethink what time of behaviors you allow in here

Love this gym! Personally I just like to use the bags and hydro massage tables. The kickboxing bags are in the back corner which is the perfect location. The Crunch in Austin has them towards the front which gets crowded. The staff is always pretty nice and helpful. Been working out here for the last few years when I’m in the area, never had any issues. This is my goto gym in KTown. Highly recommend!

Great equipment and friendly staff. The times I was able to workout it was so packed I often left without finishing my workout. The base plan for $10 / month cost you $60 on the spot to cancel your membership. Beware of that.

Great place overall. Been very crowded lately. There's a lack of proper hand grips and straps for cable machines. Bring your own if you have them. Lots of loose hardware, sticky pullys, and machines out of adjustment. Beware of zip ties on cable clips, they weren't cut correctly, and sharp edges are exposed. I was cut twice, let employees know,but nothing was done, so I clipped the ends myself on the following visit. I think membership has outgrown the square footage during peak times. I might have to start carrying a tool bag for loose hardware that i find. It's not an issue until it is and someone ends up hurt for lack of maintenance. I still go there, and still like the place alot, even with issues I've brought up that I've had to take care of myself. A few small tweaks and it could get 5 stars.

Pick a different gym!!!! Limited equipment selection and specially irrigating how they love blocking out a quarter of the gym for classes at the busiest time of the week and won’t even let you grab equipment they aren’t using like kettlebells and medicine balls to use outside of the blocked off class area. Again look else where!!!!

Honestly been to tons of gyms I don’t care you can think whatever. Don’t fix the machines, the rubber pulley set up gets stretched really easy. To many gym girls/guys there standing around talking just being in the way. Night shift workers never at the front desk to busy talking to guys around the gym so anyone can walk in. Should make a rule 8 AM to 8 PM is only for allowed people under 21 8 PM to 8 AM anyone over 21. If there Going to enforce some rules need to make sure everybody is following them. Over all 2 maybe 3 stars. Very small crunch gym. Way to many people for a small gym.

Cancelled my membership due to unprofessionalism from NIKKO the custodial she had left cleaning towels on top of the ab machine I decided to move them to continue my workout. The female NIKKO came and confronted me pointing at me with raised voice “DO NOT MOVE MY STUFF NEXT TIME”.

After cancelling I went to her and let her know I cancelled and she won’t have a problem with me again and hope she knows how to talk and direct to people. It was very rude her approach to me no need of that. I hope management can discipline this action as customers make the business.

Been going here since I was stationed at Ft. Hood, now I'm doing everything I can to build up my stamina & strength.
- The staff is welcoming & very professional; haven't had any complaints from the staff at all.
- The weights have a great variety & the floor layout works well for me when I come in to do my workouts.
- Enjoy taking my 2yr old to the daycare side & knowing the staff is doing a great job keeping an eye on her even with all the other kids around.
- Only complains I have would be the men's restroom could be cleaned more frequently & for the soap dispenser to have... more soap & not foam. Last complain is sometimes the paper towel dispensers run out of paper throughout the gym.

One request; please bring in some "Jacobs Ladder" exercise equipment.

Great atmosphere for working out. I love their no judgment zone . The staff is friendly and very professional. Knowledgeable about training, dieting and eating healthy.
They have plenty of available equipment to exercise on. Many tread mills, stair climbers, bench press, free weight machine as well.
Aerobic workout and more. The prices are very affordable and not expensive..

I liked it at crunch fitness. It is open 24-7 the people are Great.. thank you for the buisness and what it has to offer. IT IS WORTH IT. The only bad thing that ever happened was somebody ended up with the same tag and it blocked me from my tanning sessions..Bummer !!!

Careful with them. If you want to cancel your membership you have to go in person. Can't send an email because it will simply be ignored and they continue to charge you. ALSO EVEN GOING IN PERSON and canceling they continued to charge me every month. Changed my card number and all they did was send me to collections AFTER I had cancelled my membership.

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Environment can get packed during target hours. Building with high volume of personnel makes it challenging for them to keep all equipment clean, however, their staff is persistent in getting the job done. Overall great place to get a workout.
