One of the workers had her family in the locker room, and was talking to them extremely loudly and proceeded to say behind my back that i looked disgusting and to “let it go”. She’s 20x bigger than me so i didn’t take it personally, still unprofessional. This was at 12am. Don’t know her name but she’s black, and looks about 200 pounds.

Ive been consistently working out here for about a month and I absolutely love it here. The staff is very nice, informative, and welcoming. The gym has a vast amount of exercise equipment to accommodate my workout regimen. The sauna and hydro massage chair are wonderful additions as well. The facility is also very clean and the machines are easy to use. I would recommend this gym to anyone who asks me.

Great place to get a work out in. The staff is nice. There's plenty of cardio options and tons of treadmills. There's a lot of free weights, benches, box racks, and a couple of shuttles. The gym could use another chest fly machine, but other than that I'd highly recommend. We've been going here since they opened in 2019.

Met with Daniel and he showed us around the facility and answered all our questions. Top notch customer service. Give that man a raise. The facility is impressive. Only downside is all the damn people. Gets loud and members are unconcerned with taking up space, blocking lockers and whatnot. More of an indictment of our modern society than anything else. Needless to say, my fiance and I signed up on the spot but we will be looking to go at the least busy times. Also, try the hydro massage chairs, trust me.

Good luck cancelling your membership. I spoke with someone 3 years ago to cancel my membership and it seemed like it was confirmed that my membership was cancelled. Recently I noticed that I am still being charged and have been for the past 3 years. I haven’t stepped foot in a crunch gym in that time period. The process to cancel the membership is way more work than it needs to be. I would find another less scammy gum.

I came over from Club 4 after a year there and have enjoyed this gym so much more. There is much more equipment and it’s nicer. The extra amenities for the same price such as the sauna were a huge bonus. All of the employees were friendly and seem like great people. Harrison was a great help with signing up, and Alyssa was very nice when I cancelled due to moving to Austin. Overall great atmosphere.

Always incredibly crowded and the music is TERRIBLE, and you can tell- everyone's bluetooth is constantly killing your headphone connection. Good luck getting anything done on any sort of timeframe when you sell X amount of memberships and only have Y amount of squat/bench bars and are unwilling to compromise. Last year, I was doing max rep deadlifts and pushing/pausing for mobility, and someone approached me from behind and said "Are you just going to stare at it, or lift it?" I turned around and confronted this bad actor and literally had to verbally assault him right there on the spot to convince him to back the *** up and get the *** out of my business, personal space, time, and routine. I explicitly described the incident to the front desk, and asked for follow up. When none was made, I proceeded to inquire if this person was allowed to continue lifting in the gym-- they were a risk for me to want to work out here safely. Of course, no response from crunch management, they honestly could have cared less, despite acting the part.

Horrible experience. Another member pushed ne from behind, out of his way. Mind you, I was on the corner alone and there way all the room in the world to walk around me.

I asked for Crunch to NOT take my banking info that they only may save my card info. They took this as if they have a choice and they do not have my consent. I've given them 24 hours to respond but I see that these issues are not important to them.

I think the gym overall is great! BUT I did a meetup with one of the trainers not really being told what I have to do and the trainer ERIC was basically judging me the whole time. Talked down on me and my friend and I was completely over it. My friend had the trainer Josiah and he was way more understanding, thoughtful and educated on the different needs for others I’d definitely prefer him rather than Eric who doesn’t listen to his clients. Eric needs to realize that everyone can’t be trained the same and everyone’s bodies are different. I’m still new and getting comfortable with the gym and absolutely HATE the way he spoke of my friends and his insinuations that we will never reach our goals.

Really sad back in may I joined the gym cause I like what they offered : so I went and paid for a trainer shortly after do to medical reason I had to put my self on hold I never got too use my trainer service so then eric told me me that they would refund my money he argued with me saying that they have refund many times : so my service was on freeze until further notice eric kept asking for a update I was cleared and ready to go in October of this year : then I updated my info they said they would honor my services that the took out my account since I didn’t work out with the trainer it all turned into a lie they where caught so instead of offering a month free of service they forced me to cancel and leave the gym and they kept there job no I’m finding a new gym

In town for work and was initially going to hit up anytime fitness. But the location next to my hotel was permanently closed, looked at the old map and here crunch was!

Most of these gyms are the same footprint. Same machines. Same quality. Friendly folks.

This gym is infact that.

I have the program through your insurance that gives you access to 15k+ gyms for 25 bucks a month. It is very much worth it if you travel or just want gym variety in your own town.

What I really like about this gym is the footprint. Everything has plenty of space around it. Most if not all the machines were maintained. Didn't smell, and everything you want for in a nice gym.

If I'm back in town, y'all will see me again.

I love this place. The tempo and vibe is workout focused. The facility and additional amenities are always kept clean. I enjoy the benefit of the 24 access to the facility as well as there sauna, tanning, and infra red light therapy. Machines, free weight, cross training, and cardio equipment is all included. I was doubtful of their training staff but I can assure you they do it well. I signed up for their training program and don't regret it one bit. Enjoy the fitness and good health to you all.

I drove over 4 HOURS last year to cancel my membership because they told me I had to do it there. Only to realize now I’m still being charged and they supposedly have no record of me canceling. I signed up initially online in February but never worked it into my schedule to get in. I was commuting from Longview to Dallas to teach. After speaking with Mac on the phone; he offered a solution so that I could get signed up and avoid a past due bill since the May payment was not received. He was professional and helpful.

I went in and everything went well. Austin gave me a a quick tour of the gym and I was ready to sign up again. Well, all the professionalism, tact and personal prowress went right out the door when the front desk person named Jaden made me feel unwanted and uncomfortable, to say the least. After entering my personal information on the app I continued to get an error message and I reported that to her. I didnt say anything initially because she was entering something on the computer. I stood waiting for her to address me and she jerked my phone out of my hand and started opening up my.personal information in the app. She viewed my password and I said to her, "Ma'am you have no right to look at my password." She then told me, "I don't plan to log into your account." With that statement, I became furious! I responded to her, "You have no right. You are very rude." I then walked out of the building. My next step is to contact the general manager and report this experience to him or her. At this point, I can not recommend this place of business. I can only say, Beware!

I certainly enjoyed going to this gym at the start of 2022. Shortly thereafter, I moved away and stopped being able to attend. I wanted to cancel but was told that I would have pay $150 to cancel which I didn’t have. I was continually charged on a monthly basis not to go to the gym. I was always given the runaround and after I decided to call up there about my concerns, they agreed to let me cancel but charged me $90.00 and told me it was “a last charge” I’m outraged and will never go back to this gym. I’d recommend to everyone that they should avoid attending a gym with contractual obligations.

1 star because they won't cancel my contract with the personal trainer even when the contract states all you have to give is a 30 day notice. on top of that I pay for 2 seccions a week but only get one. Just cancel the contract or I will have to change banks and do it my way. They say they will help you they want you to Email them but never answer back or fix anything. Just as I shut my door I realized I locked my keys cell phone and work out gear in the car. Teff & Sydney assisted me and contacting roadside assistance, allowed me to work out in the meantime. They even came and got me from the treadmill and helped navigate the locksmith to the right location. It feels good to be at home at Crunch Fitness. Powerlifters should seek strength gains elsewhere, as their machines likely dont have the weight you're looking for, the barbells aren't made to consistently hold 700+ pounds all the time, and the dumbbells only go up to 120lbs.

We love Crunch Gym! Started in early January 2023... and could not be more happy with a workout facility. This gym is a perfect fit for us! Always very clean machines and locker rooms, upbeat atmosphere, PLENTY of equipment - never waiting for a machine, diverse crowd, friendly/helpful staff, and GREAT pricing. I am extremely disappointed former customer. I was trying to cancel my gym membership due to move to another city, and it turned as a disaster.
First of all, stuff DO NOT acknowledge customers about cancelation policy and 30 days notice. Of course, they bring it at the end with the ugly statement “ it is in your agreement”. They encourage people to sign up without revealing all necessary information. Therefore, I thought I could easily cancel it in one day, like you do with ANY utility, internet or cell provider!!! But not for the gym, you need a 30 days notice… for what??? It is a simple cheating on the clients . Thus, I have been told to pay for the next 30 days, even if I won’t be in a town…
Secondly, after bringing my complains to a shift supervisor, he agreed (from his words) to cancel my membership straightforward without additional charges. The supervisor asked me to place a signature under final statement without showing me of what I was signing. When I left gym in 10 minutes I received an email with a final bill with my signature on it , and a statement that if I won’t pay it, it will go to collection.
At this point I was done. It appears to me, that shift supervisor lied straight up in the face, and did opposite to what he said , and asked me to sign the document of which I was not acknowledged.
I went back to the gym, and decided to pay it out, because Crunch Fitness supervisor”s word to a customer doesn’t cost a penny! From the words of supervisor, he did a mistake, but I didn’t accept any apology. It shouldn’t be like that.
You as a business cheat customers on cancellation policy, not acknowledging new members about it, then ugly state that “it is in your agreement”. Even if your supervisor “tries to help” ( which is questionable), it turns to a lie straight in the face!
I definitely do not want anyone to loose an employment, but I will share it to public, including my network who attend your facility.
After 1.5 years of experience you scratched everything in 5 minutes. This is not a "Southern Hospitality" Longview is famous for.
I hope with this review professional development through your stuff will be made and cancelation policy will be adjusted.

P.S. The owner to the gym replied to this review with "we will take care of you". This complaint has been sent to the gym's email at the same time it has been posted here. In 10 days there were no response to it... So, what's a point to make a public statement by the owner to take care of the complaint? As I stated above, their word to a customer doesn't cost a penny. Confirmed again.

It was horrible. I had two charges to my card in one month, the dates they would take it out changed from month to month, very unclean tanning beds, told the worker only do 6 min in stand up(they had new bulbs) worker set it for 9( thank goodness I pay attention!, Then I cancelled membership still got charged 2 months even though annual fee was paid and they was supposed to be no cancellation fee(lies), then had to get bank to dispute, the equipment they didn't keep clean, they would all be on the phones or talking instead of doing their jobs. It's a 24 hour gym, but they don't use key cards to unlock the front door. It's staffed 24/7,so to me, that's a plus. No trying to workout at 10 pm and for whatever reason your card or key fob not working and keeping you locked out.
As far as the gym, it's big and open. Way more Cardio equipment than you will ever need at the busiest of times. Plenty of dumbells and free weights, but also, plenty of plate loaded machines or machines you add weights to. They also offer classes for a higher membership fee, which would also cover nationwide gym membership and a guest as well, and tanning. It would be hard to find a gym with more options. The only thing they don't allow is chalk, so powerlifters probably won't be there. Besides that, no silly rules like "no grunting" or anything else along those lines.

This Company is not fully American ran. The call center is India/:Pakistan ran. And they make it hard as hell to end a membershiip even if you only went three times.

Love this place. Friendly staff, clean facilities and plenty of extras. I have a lot of anxiety issues and the staff is wonderful. I feel comfortable here.

Zach answered my phone and described what Crunch offers. Told him I’d be there. Jordan took over for Zach, one of the most informative Gym rep I have ever met. Straight to the point and detail about the membership as well as the gym. Definitely recommend this place. Way better than your stereo typical gyms out there. CRUNCH is the new you.
