Cypress Academy runs a well oiled machine for birthday parties and the kids always have a blast. Everything runs super smooth, on time and the coaches make it so easy with the setup and tear down. Having a birthday party at Cypress requires zero work from the parents allowing you to mingle with the other adults and get to know the parents of your children’s friends you might not have met yet and most importantly enjoy your child’s party with no stress. Ian and Kassity did an amazing job leading our son’s birthday group. It was a big group with a wide range of ages and they kept everyone busy, under control and having fun.

We had an amazing party at Cypress Academy the Woodlands location! The entire process was seamless from start to finish. Ian and Sophia jumped right in to help set up while also greeting guest and making the birthday girl feel special. They kept all the kids (and adults!) engaged, safe, and smiling the entire time. Their energy, patience, and enthusiasm made the party extra special. You can really tell they love what they do and know how to make every child feel included. Over all I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to have a stress free, active and entertaining birthday party!

My daughter and her friends signed up for the summer camp. However there were bad injuries happened and non of us were notified. My daughter was traumatized now and refused to go to the camp in the middle of week. Her friend had a surgery and the center had no one to follow up nor accident report sent to parents. Her other friend fell on concrete and leg hurts, she didn't want to continue with the camp too. All these happened and no teacher ever mentioned anything to parents during checkout. Will never go back to this place.

My daughter has been going to Cypress Academy for years now. She has acquired so many tumbling skills that have helped her with her first love; dance. My daughter has been coming here since November, and we are genuinely so happy with the staff, cleanliness, and curriculum. She's made many friends, and learned so much in the short amount of time coming here. The events they throw are fun and safe for kids of all ages, and I feel comfortable with my daughter's safety in the hands of these trainers and coaches. The front desk staff are always so sweet and helpful, and the membership prices are amazing, and so worth it for kids who are passionate about their gymnastics! We will be coming here for the forseeable future.

I REALLY really wanted to like this place. The first bad experience was when my kid went for a parent's day out. A groupmate was going around punching and pushing kids who were standing in line. My son being one of them. Another kid and my son together went up to their coach and told them about the kid. She was looking at them as they were telling her about it, and her response was "Go ahead in front of the line." My kid just looked at me dumbfolded, so I had to walk over and intervene. (I was there because my toddler was participating in the Tumble Tot playtime). If I was able to hear that conversation from where I was standing, there was no way the coach didn't. After that incident, I decided not to take my kid to their PDOs anymore as it gave me the impression that my kid wouldn't be entirely safe. Months after that, we hosted his birthday there, and the coaches we got were awesome. They went above and beyond. Due to this, I figured the incident prior was just a fluke. We decided to take both kids to their PNO yesterday. When we picked up our kids, they were very upset. I asked them what happened, and they said they did not get pizza. I was confused because we paid for their food at drop off, which was notated on their wristband. I asked them if perhaps they just didn't hear their coach or if they said no to food when it was time to eat. They responded that their group was never told to get pizza. They were just given cookies. I was very upset about this and more so because the coaches couldn't validate or deny this. My kids wouldn't ever turn down pizza even while in the middle of playing. They've been going to ASI's parent night outs for over a year now and they NEVER had this issue. Only reason I brought them to a PNO here is because it's very close to home compared to the other place and I did want to give this place a chance again. Now, I know to definitely not bring them here. I do not recommend this place.

I am absolutely disgusted with the decision to move the special needs class time. The class was at 6:45pm for two years - but now suddenly they are "reinstating a policy" that the class has to be at either 3:10pm or 7:45pm. Both times make it impossible for the students to attend - one during school time and the other too late on a school night. We have made this known and no one seems to care. It is extremely disappointing to know that Cypress Academy devalues their special needs students to this extent.

Came here for a birthday party, and my kids (2 & 4) loved it! We're looking at putting them into lessons starting next year.

Edited to add: We have now been in gymnastics lessons here for over a year, and my kids still enjoy it. We've also hosted 2 double-birthday parties here. I highly recommend having your party here! My daughter has been going here for 3 years, she absolutely loves it! We have had several coaches since we started coming, because she has either progressed to a different level or we attended makeup classes. all of them have been Fantastic! Coach Frankie is her current coach and every week she looks forward to showing off her improved skills to him (and talking his ear off😂) My only complaint is y'all are making my daughter want all this gymnastics equipment at our house😅

We hosted a 5yr old’s birthday party here and have also attended other birthday parties here and I must say this is, hands down, the most enjoyable birthday event for both the kids and adults! The coaches take care of almost everything (help set up, take care of and entertain kids, serve food and cake, lead happy birthday song, pack up gifts, etc). I will definitely be booking another birthday with them. Nick is the bomb dot com! He goes above and beyond to make the birthday kid feel special and keep everyone engaged.

I recently had my daughter’s birthday party here and it was by far the best experience we’ve had for a birthday party to date. Nic and Kennedy were our coaches and they were amazing! They really went above and beyond and worked non-stop to make sure it was the smoothest, most enjoyable party for my daughter and her friends. The kids had a blast. Nic had all the kids laughing and Kennedy did a great job keeping the kids moving from one activity to the next and staying safe and having fun. Highlights for the kids were the swing into the pit, trampolines, parachute, mountain and running into coach Nic while he was holding an incline mat and trying to knock him over - thanks Nic for all the knocks! the kids loved it! From the get go, the coaches helped me carry stuff in, helped decorate, serve food, clean up, and helped carry stuff out. Full service, couldn’t have went smoother. The communication between the coaches and the kids as well as with me was also great. The gym itself is huge, very clean (still smells brand new) and has plenty of viewing area and seating for parents. I plan to enroll my kids in gymnastics here and have future birthday parties here as well. Thank you Nic and Kennedy for an amazing job making this the best birthday ever for my daughter!

This is my daughters first year in gymnastics so we decided to go to Cypress Academy for her classes. What a great choice. She has a ton of fun and learns a lot each week. I have a 15-year-old daughter with special needs who has down syndrome. I needed to find a good, quality gym on this side of town that would challenge her and work on her technique. I am elated to say that I found it!! Coach Libbie and Coach Chelsea both worked with her and I was completely amazed at what they were able to get her to do! They didn’t take no for an answer and continued to gently push her, and it was amazing to see! And, to see the excitement on her face… absolutely priceless! I found many of the coaches to be so kind and try to connect with her before class.

This gym also has a special needs class (if you are searching for your child), but Janelle can be in a class with typical kids. They were very hands on…. let me repeat…. HANDS ON! Which is the whole point when taking a gymnastics class. You need someone to touch you and correct what you are doing wrong. Kid’s don’t always understand verbally and learn in different ways. In this sport, which I know more than enough about having 3 other kids who all did competitive gymnastics, coaches must touch the kids to help correct technique. They were also extremely positive and encouraging.

My older son got a full scholarship in gymnastics from their main location. So clearly Cypress Academy of Gymnastics knows how to do things right. Thank you for finally building a gym on this side of town. So, if you are searching for a gym for your child, it doesn’t hurt to come in and take a free trial class. You’ll thank me later.

Among the best gymnastics academies I have ever been to! Highly qualified staff with strong ethical behavior and extremely professional interactions with the kids and parents alike. Coach Jamie is great and Coach Sarah is among the most professional coaches I have ever worked with. We had a hiccup when we first started at the gym but it was handled in the most discrete and professional way. The facilities are the best I’ve ever seen in The Woodlands. And call me weird but the bathrooms are super clean and there’s never trash anywhere! It’s hard to find such a well-trained and qualified staff under one roof but Cypress Academy of Gymnastics Woodlands managed to do it and do it well.

My 4 year old daughter started classes opening week and we absolutely LOVE the gym! The facility is beautiful! My daughter really loves her new coach, Nick. We are very pleased with the structure of the class and really appreciate getting a progress report of skills she has mastered and a list of skills yet to accomplish. My daughter took classes for a year at another gym and it doesn’t even compare to CAG! They have a lot of great activities every month outside of class. We participated in Parents Night Out and my daughter had so much fun, she talked about it for days! We are so happy we made the decision to switch to CAG! We have found our gym home!
