I had my daughters 3rd birthday party there and it was phenomenal!! Coaches lilly and Camila went above and beyond to make it unforgettable! They helped with the setup and took care of all the birthday kiddos.They knew how to handle all the preschoolers.Very professional and kind.Would definitely go back next year to have her 4th birthday.

Cypress Academy Kuykendahl location is AMAZING! Coach Pete is a phenomenal coach and he addresses all of his students by name. He is very attentive to all of his students to ensure they are receiving the best Coaching skills with every task that they do. The boys program at this location purely sucks! There's no boys director, no planned fun activities like games/ trampoline, no achievement level or reward program for the boys recreational class or progression of skills obtained. There's always a new coach and the same excuse we can't find male coaches. The owner charges $30 more than a gym down the road with a better boys program. Honestly, Cypress made male Olympians not females. I expected more from Aaron Basham. The place smells terrible and needs better cleaning management.
-I watched this girl get injured. I saw her crying in the parking lot by herself and she couldn't walk. The gym needs to have a staff member stay with her until her parents show up. Watching this upset me.

Great experience for my son’s 6th birthday! Literally did not have to lift a finger, so easy to work with! We had 29 kids and added the extra time to our party and every kid had the best time and the coaches were amazing! With a group that included kids from 2-14 years old they made sure everyone was having fun and made sure that my birthday boy felt super special the whole time! I love that they moved the group around the gym in stations so that no one was left out of the activities or fun! Thanks for a great party!

Celebrated my kids birthday here. It was great. It was 1.5 hrs and we had 2 coaches helping for my party of 20 kids. I brought all food and decorations. They helped with everything from. Set up, serving food, clean up and coaching kids thru the whole gym. The kids got to play freely and then went to organize play. They did little things to make my kid feel extra special like sit her on a pedestal for singing and high fives. The mountain is our favorite part and the kids love to explore it. The staff was super helpful and friendly. Will be returning to check out classes.

I came here today for my nephews birthday party. I had to come on here to commend one of the employees. I did not catch her name, but she was so sweet. My son is autistic and was having a hard time following instructions. She was aware of this. When he was climbing the rock wall, she asked me if he was okay with other people touching him before she assisted him. She then told me it was okay if he was having trouble staying with the other kids and following directions, that we should just do our best. Those two comments were SO kind and honestly relieved my stress so much. Will forever recommend this place due to our interactions with her.

Where to begin? We learned about Cypress Academy via a friend's birthday party for their boys! The facility was incredibly clean, the staff attentive and the entire event so well organized. We asked the parents of those attending what they thought, and many had kids already enrolled and spoke very highly of this place!

Fast forward, we signed our two children up for a Parents Night Out. Our kids were elated! (6yo boy and 4yo girl). Then, we lerned they also have homeschool classes (we go twice a week during homeschool hours now) and they absolutely adore their coaches/instructors!

The staff if incredibly insightful. Bree is always on top of it. The text option got me to Bob at 7pm on a Sunday for a last minute date change request (which they quickly approved in seconds!)

Honestly, I have been nothing but impressed since day 1 and now this is a staple in our curriculum and our date night go-to!!

“Not Recommended for Birthday Parties”
On January 18, we celebrated my son’s birthday at this establishment. We reserved the space we wanted nearly three months in advance, and the person who took our reservation assured us that no one else had booked it for that date. We confirmed and paid everything on time. We even purchased all the decorations specifically designed for the space we had chosen. However, on the day of the party, the receptionist assigned us a different space for which we were completely unprepared. When we asked for the manager, we were told they were in a meeting and never came to speak with us in person. It wasn’t until a few days later that the manager called my wife. The entire experience was confusing and poorly organized. We will not be planning another event there.

Hosted my son's fifth birthday here. Let me just say how awesome the experience was. Of course the kids had great fun, but the best part was how professional the staff were. They helped with EVERYTHING. If you're tired of busting hump to put your own party together, just book one here. They cut the cake, handled the pinata, help set up the decor, gathered the gifts up, I mean everything. I cannot recommend them enough! Make sure you bring plenty of cash for a tip because the team really deserves it.

We have been paying for cypress academy for over 2 years for 2 kids so I can definitely tell you what it's like here..
1st problem is they don't have enough staff and/or over book themselves, take on more kids than they can accommodate. The place is always packed. Which brings me to my biggest concern/issue the germs, every single time my kids go they get sick no matter how many times they wash their hands. So this creates a cycle go to class 1 week miss the next due to illness and so on. We have therefore created months worth of "makeup" classes but good luck trying to use them, as I mentioned before they have no staff and overbook classes, so unless your child is already enrolled in that class there's a good chance it's full and you have to be on standby. When you have toddlers and take them to a class and they don't get to go in it, that is not fun as a parent. Back to the germs, admittedly they told me they only have disinfecting done 1-2x per month. When you have literally 100s of kids per day all playing on the equipment with no sun to naturally disinfect, germs are spread! If they were more accommodating with the "makeups" or instead didn't charge you when you missed classes I wouldn't be as upset but at this point we have over 6 months of "makeups" that we have paid for, that can never be made up due to their lack of availablilty and our schedule. We tried cancelling a while ago but they used the makeups against us saying you have to be enrolled (paying) to use them and told us if we stay enrolled we can use the makeups at their new ninja warrior gym, so we stayed on.... That was a lie. We were later told NO we cannot use than at the new ninja gym. We have since cancelled and cut our $2,000+ loss. They were unsympathetic and never would allow me to speak to anyone besides the local store manager to try and resolve my concerns.
I do not recommend this gym for your kids.

We have been going to Cypress Academy for about 6 months now. We absolutely love it. My daughter tends to be on the shy side, and her coaches (David, and Anthony) have made her feel so comfortable while pushing her to step out of her comfort zone. Came here for a birthday party with two toddlers and I was not impressed with the way they do things for parties. They made it sort of like rotating centers which left the younger kids esp (not just mine) getting very upset having to wait to use the center they wanted. My kids and others got repeatedly told off by a bunch of teenagers for not adhering to their rigid center schedule but realistically if you market yourself as the best birthday place you’re going to get younger kids as well as older and even with parents standing there the whole time it’s not really fair to kids to tell them when they can and can’t use an area. They also had 4-5 parties going on at once on top of regular gymnastics classes so it felt very much like they were trying to just make the maximum buck (parties run $200-500 depending on size and length and they have 5 parties 3x a day so you do the math) while providing a not so fun time for the toddlers who of course have low impulse control and want to sort of wander around the open area. I just wasn’t very impressed with the way they had it organized, and then we were quickly ushered out for the next round of birthday parties before my kids really got a chance to wear themselves out for the last few minutes. ALSO, very very weird but several adults in our party were told off for jumping on the trampolines with our kids — something about a waiver?? Made no sense. I will not be bringing my kids back here until they are much older, if then

We attended for a year hoping it would get better. The coaches frequently didn’t pay attention to the kids, a lot of time was spent just using time instead of advancing them. Multiple times I had to ask to be tested to move to next level and was told “they already advanced” but were not moved. Communication was terrible between coaches, I even paid for one on one lessons and was just overall thoroughly unimpressed. If you’re looking for big classes with not enough coaches and for a place to just get energy out this is your place. We were also not able to use any of our make up classes after canceling our membership (we had more than 20) waste of money.
