Visited the city for work and was looking for an activity on the weekend. I’m so glad I found Dharma. Keith has built something special here. The studio is clean, spacious, and welcoming. His class was mentally and physically cleansing. I left feeling really refreshed. Would visit again if I’m ever back in town.

I am quite picky with yoga studios and have been looking for one for some time. Surprisingly, there are not that many in Austin that I can truly recommend. I am so glad I found Dharma Yoga. It is a bit different than other studios, with spiritual aspects such as reading a short passage before the class. The studio itself is very nice and spiritual-looking, with pleasant lighting and scents.
The teachers are amazing—I enjoy every class I attend. I love their flexible payment model: you get credits and use them when you can, which is perfect for a busy schedule. The price per class is also much lower than other studios in Austin.
I have really learned a lot here, as they explain many things during the class and explore new poses, often holding them for longer durations, which is nicely challenging. This is truly a gem, and I recommend this studio to everybody.

Keith is incredible. I dropped in for a class and he was so welcoming and made me feel comfortable right away.
Everyone in the class was so nice, you can feel the energy in that room was beautiful. What I liked more about this is that you have 11 minutes at the end to meditate, decompress and just slow down. Keith also gives the yoga class an espiritual focus.

Dharma Yoga is the best! Honestly, calling it yoga really seems to cheapen the experience because it's more about living an examined, conscious life that's explored and practiced through movement. I wouldn't consider myself super spiritual but, through Keith's classes, my life has been enriched by practicing presence, consciousness, acceptance, and gratitude. I look forward to continue to grow my practice at Dharma. Definitely check it out!

Lovely studio! Wonderful instructors. Been coming here for 2+ years and took their teacher training. Amazing place to learn about buddhist teachings in addition to yoga asana. Such a lovely space and the owner Keith is a wealth of knowledge and Brooke also teaches the most beautiful restorative classes

I have been going to Dharma Yoga for 5+ years now almost every week and it is one of the best yoga studios I've ever been to. (I've been practicing in NY and DC for over 15 years.) Keith is an incredibly talented and kind yogi, teacher and person. His classes are a blend of meditation, pilates and yoga. I cherish my time there every week and am grateful that the studio is just down the road!

Keith and Dharma Yoga was an awakening for me. I’ve been to a few yoga classes throughout Austin and this one felt like I belonged and was more than just stretching. It was nothing like I ever experienced and now I’m hooked. Thank you Kieth for showing me what is really means to practice Yoga.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dharma yoga is a gift. I came to the studio because “spiritual” was the most cited word from reviews. Kieth and his staff share such heartfelt wisdom. The classes are accessible to all levels. I ended up doing his yoga teacher training and continue to appreciate our relationship.

Dharma Yoga is a wonderfully clean and calming studio. Keith incorporates a spiritual Buddhist teaching during each class and this has been my favorite part about this place. I’ve found other yoga studios to focus mainly on the exercise part, which is a great workout, but if you are looking for more than a workout, I highly recommend giving Dharma Yoga a try! These classes have been rewarding in both mental and physical health aspects.

I've been coming to Dharma for more than three years now. Online and in person, I benefit so much mentally and physically from the classes. It helps so much to relieve back and neck tension, and the studio is a safe escape for about an hour from the hustle and bustle of a busy schedule. Thank you Keith and Camilla

Keith is a kind and wonderful person to learn from - on and off the Matt. New to yoga this studio has welcomed and helped me find my practice. If your interested in yoga or like me and your doctor keeps telling you to try it - come here. My body and mind feel great! I am not in the greatest shape amd I am not very flexible but I am getting there! This studio does great modifications and keeps an eye on finding your edge whatever that is! I have been to a few studios and they all have strengths but I will say a special strength of this place is the patience and self awareness brought to every session. It’s more about finding time and space for self care and awareness- I find myself looking forward to sessions. Great studio! Come join us!

Safe and Exactly what I need from a yoga studio. The classes are meditative, sometimes vigorous, and always spiritually deep. At no time am I left flopping around on my mat like a fish in a boat trying to catch up with the class. Instead the instructions become part of the meditation.

The yoga studio is beautiful! I would love to have those hardwood floors one day. Most of the yoga instructors are personable. The only problem was the co-founder Keith. I find his approach to yoga intensely egotistical and misinformed. Aside from that, the last week of my month long membership there, he was sure to tell me that I only have five days left. I responded in a friendly manner, acknowledging that I know. Then, he went on to inform me that I cannot re-buy their Groupon. Well, duh. Why was that necessary? Only little Keith knows. The prices versus what you actually get is not really worth it, imo. Plus, I did feel very weird going to such a spiritually inclined/performative space that is part of gentrifying East Austin. Strange how people work, isn't it? I won't be going back.

I took a zoom class today led by Keith. It felt like a journey into all the feelings with gentle transitions through them (poses and feelings). Good stuff. Feels pure with added energy, ancient with modern feels, grounded but with some wings. This was possibly one of the best classes I’ve ever taken. I can’t imagine how sweet in-person class would be. Highly recommend :)

Dharma Yoga is an incredible studio in Austin. I've learned so much by attending classes with Keith and Camilla. The stories shared in class reflect the challenges and rewards of practicing the dharma in daily life. This studio is a harbor of wisdom, joy, and compassion when life gets wavy. If you're seeking guidance, fitness, or meditation practice, check out this sangha!

I attended this studio for a single drop-in class. I appreciate this studio for its pleasant ambience. It has nice wood floors; no wall mirrors at the front of the room, instead it has nice imagery; good lighting; and nice folks.
Keith's class was unique (there was a handout at the beginning of class!). I can definitely recommend a visit. I enjoyed mine.
Thanks, Y'all.

Really beautiful space. Whenever I’m in Austin I make it a point to come here as often as possible. Practicing here is so spectacular because it’s authentic yoga and not a pump-and-sweat factory that is all too common. Do yourself a favor and go check out Dharma Yoga!

I have been taking classes at Dharma Yoga for over five years now. I absolutely love the teachers. Camilla is a gem of a teacher. Her calm and genuine demeanor is very therapeutic. Every time I leave her class, I feel relaxed and calm and life is good. This is my weekly therapy. I love her technique - it's very open, flexible, and she teaches a variety of fun partner work, meditations, and flows. As long as I live in Austin, I will continue Dharma Yoga's classes. It is a true mind-body-soul experience.

I don't even know where to begin. I started going to Dharma yoga back in 2009 while I was a sophomore in high school. At their old location near the New World Deli on Guadalupe street, I took my very first yoga classes with the owner, Keith. His aura was kind and understanding, his demeanor was calm and I felt that I could fit in there even though I didn't know all of the poses. It was a safe place.
Now, eight years after my first yoga experience with Keith, Dharma Yoga is unchanged in those beautiful ways that drew me to it in the first place. Dharma has moved to its 3rd location and it feels homier than ever. I have taken several long hiatuses from yoga and I was always surprised to find that when I came back (even after a couple of years) Keith always remembered my name.
The classes at Dharma yoga have a spiritual quality to them unlike any other place I've been. Many other yoga studios are focused more on the fitness of the body, while Dharma emphasizes the strong connection between the body and the mind with the aid of meditation and mindfulness in breathing. Sometimes a class is brought to focus with a short poem or mantra, which for me draws a deeper universal meaning for the practice... I am always so excited when I receive a little slip of paper with a mantra or a poem on the front of my mat, and I will often pin it up in my room or on the dashboard of my car if it has a special significance for me!
In terms of teacher-quality: the owner, Keith is a wonderful human being who takes it upon himself to go out and find other wonderful beings to represent his business and his heart. Dharma studio has many yoga teachers who are educated beyond the realm of yoga and movement, sometimes holding bachelor's and masters' degrees in fields such as social work, literature, and engineering. Many Dharma teachers also hold certifications having to do with the spiritual and philosophical applications of Tibetan Buddhism and meditation. Recently I have branched out to begin taking classes with a teacher named Erika. She is a spunky and spontaneous, upbeat survivor! Her classes have a humorous, inquisitive twist and her energy/strength is contagious.
So if you're reading this and you haven't been to Dharma Yoga, I urge you to come out and share my experience. This little Cherrywood gem of a yoga studio is a welcoming and positive neighborhood environment! You will feel at home, greeted by the smiling faces of other practitioners and the teachers will always know your name.

I went here all summer after seeing a Groupon for it. Not sure I would've paid the full price. A great studio space on Guadalupe, I enjoyed all of the teachers and classes I went to—although Keith's and Camilla's classes were my favorite. While there is a nice mix of hatha and vinyasa flow and meditation in the 'all-levels' classes, Dharma leans heavily on the spiritual aspect of yoga. Sometimes this was great and relaxing, but other times, I wish there was more fitness involved. If you're looking to do yoga as a workout, try somewhere else. But if you want to explore the practice of yoga, then Dharma's a great place to try.

The best yoga studio in Austin, in my opinion. Great teachers, atmosphere etc. etc. Classes are not cheap but are delightful enough to be worth their price. The studio itself also has a nice zen and is located right off of Guadalupe on the drag - check it out.

Keith is well versed in both the physical and spiritual aspects of yoga. He is succinct and guided me toward a broader appreciation of myself and my practice. This will be my Austin yoga joy when I am away from my home in Galveston. Thanks to Tracy for the recommendation!
