Javi is the greatest coach in the hill country area !! His Gym is by far the greatest environment to get boxing sessions and a great workout!! If you are looking to get started in boxing or put your kids on the right path to starting there boxing career then this is the place to go and javi is the one to teach you!!

Diamond boxing club is owned and operated by Javi Vargas. I began doing 1-on-1 sessions with Javi Vargas back in February, and have seen great improvements.

Javi Vargas’ training methods are akin to those utilized by the CIA, or Central Intelligence Agency, in procuring information. We forgo traditional hand wrap applications for a modified approach of broken glass layered beneath secured sand paper, burnishing the skin. Javi “the Javier” Vargas then has me recite excerpts of New England transcendental poetry, carefully curated for maximum retention, such those from Henry David Thoreau, Emerson, and ‘Sturgis’ Hooper. When a word is missed, the burpee movements are performed; when a line is ill-spoke, they are performed until Javi is tired. Gloves are never worn, as to build hand and wrist dexterity. Mitts are never used, as to build hand and wrist dexterity. Two cast iron pans fill their absence as training and disciplinary tools.

Be prepared to have homework assignments. My current assignment is to provide analysis and explanation toward, “Those not capable of performing great and awful violence are not peaceful, but harmless.” However, a thesis build of ten thousand words is at a discounted price when compared to the level of training consigned at The Diamond Boxing Club, owned and operated by Javi Vargas.

Having relocated to the area four months ago, my primary goal was to find a suitable boxing program for my daughters. That's when I discovered Diamond Boxing, and my journey with them has been incredibly positive. Javi, the trainer, has been dedicated to sharing his extensive boxing knowledge, providing personalized one-on-one classes to enhance our skills.
