Our daughter has been attending Discover Gymnastics since she’s about 3yrs old… and let me tell you that we have been very happy with the work that the coaches have put into making sure that she continues to progress. From Coach, Kelsey, Victoria, Veronica, Jay, Bella and Coach Francisco… They all always make sure to work on identifying her strengths her weaknesses and her interests and have managed to keep my daughter engaged and interested in the sport. She loves coming to practice and she most definitely shows how proud she is of the skills she’s acquired. We are very thankful to all the staff at this gym and feel delighted we found this gym. We highly recommend bringing your kids to this gym no matter what age they are.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review for Discover Gymnastics ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We’ve been with Discover Gymnastics since 2023, and it’s truly been the best decision! The coaches are amazing & they genuinely care about the athletes, their progress, and their confidence both in and out of the gym.
Coach Francisco trains the Tiny Twisters and Super Twisters (pre-team) and he is by far the best coach for that age group in the Houston area. Trust me, we’ve been all over! He focuses on building solid basics and perfect form, and it really shows. We feel so lucky to have him coaching our daughter!
Their summer Olympia Gymnastics Camp (OGC Camp) is absolutely top-notch & led by Gold Medal Olympian Svetlana Boguinskaia, who also coaches at Discover! My daughter looks forward to it every year; it’s such an inspiring and motivating experience.
We’ve tried several other gyms and even signed up elsewhere in the past, but nothing compares to Discover. We happily commute from the Kingwood area to The Heights because it’s worth every mile to train with the best.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a positive, high-quality gymnastics program with world-class coaching and a supportive environment!

We love Discover Gymnastics! The coaches are amazing—ATTENTIVE and dedicated, with a low class-to-coach ratio. The newly updated gym looks fantastic, and I truly appreciate how clean and well-maintained it is. The front desk staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend the coaches here! We also hosted a sixth birthday party, and the coaches handled it super well. Brittany and her team has the party execution down like a machine! They were super helpful throughout. The only thing to be aware of is they rushed me at the end and sprung a cute painted handprint on the wall for the birthday girl. Fun idea! We were in the midst of trying to say goodbyes, so timing wasn't great. I'd recommend doing that before party guests arrive if possible, otherwise, everything was smooth and wonderful!

Coach Carlos is one of the best coaches for the boys at Discover Gymnastics. He is my special Olympics coach and I am thankful in the summer of 2022, he took a lot of online classes, courses, quizzes, tests, and a lot of other things like paperwork in order to become a special Olympics coach. I am thrilled he passed everything and I am so proud of him. I think they should grow the special Olympics program at Discover and he can take more athletes in his class one of these days. He knows a lot about special Olympics thanks to all of the courses he had to do in order to become a certified special Olympics coach. He rocks and is just the guy that knows everything about everything:. All of the boys love having him as a coach and makes sure they are strong and ready for competitions. I love how serious he takes things and checks to make sure they are doing every skill right on every event. I love when he tells the boys and says “You have to work like Patrick” or something like they. He always tells them “When Patrick gets blisters or rips on high bar, he never complains”. I enjoy when he uses me as an example when the kids do not work as hard as they should.

We love Discover Gymnastics! They have so many wonderful and dedicated coaches!! Coach Francisco, coach Loreal, coach Winnie, and coach Kristen have all helped our daughter grow and progress in her skill. Coach Francisco, especially, always makes sure the girls keep proper form and push themselves to go further than we imagined possible, all while making sure they do so safely. Best gymnastics place ever!!!

We have been in Dicover since 2021, and my daughter and son attend gymnastics. It is a fantastic gym with top notch coaches. My daughter recently made the Xcel team after training with Coach Francisco. My son is in boys gymnastics. We love the quality of the training, the knowledge of the coaches, and the family atmosphere of the gym. We highly recommend it if your goal is for your kids to get proper and transcendent training.

Homeschool mamas should come prepared to pay in full as their general paperwork does not include us in the payment plans section. It’s our first year homeschooling and it felt a bit like punishment so we declined signing up. We will pick a different place. I was already on the fence with the injury review so Im glad they refused us.

The communication and administration of the team program is awful. They routinely miss communicating to parents important topics such as child progression, event dates, etc.

My kids have had countless birthdays here and it has always exceeded my expectations. The coaches keep the kids entertained and make the party run smoothly. The facility is huge and maintained well. My daughter was on the competitive team for 5 years and their coaching is top notch. My kids have also attended the summer camps and enjoyed them a lot.

We have been coming to Discover since my granddaughters was 2 1/2. We have been nothing but please. She has grown in so many ways. Learning listening skills as well as the love of gymnastics. We have been so very fortunate to have Coach Fransisco for 2-2 1/2 years. He enforces discipline and listening skills. There are not enough words to say what he has done for my granddaughter. Thank you Discovery Gymnastics

My daughter was attending before Covid and resumed again once the gym opened. So far, I’m not impressed with my daughter’s instructor. I was a gymnast in college, so I’m familiar with how students should be taught and instructed. It is a “hands-on” method. The instructor gives very little “hands-on” instruction. In fact, I doubt the instructor was ever a gymnast. I’ve spoken with other parents, who’s daughters are in the same class; they feel the same way.
As a past gymnast, we have some equipment at home. I do work with her at home,
I attend every practice session, so I’m witnessing first hand. My daughter attends twice a week. I was tempted to sign her up for an additional day, but feel at this point it would be a waste of money, unless she had a more qualified instructor.
My daughter loves gymnastics. Her goal is to compete as some point in the future. At the present rate, I feel that’s not going to happen. I’ve expressed my goals to two different individuals at Discover; not certain they’re listening.
Will continue to attend both sessions, assess my daughters progress, and determine what progress she makes by the end of the semester.
Hopefully, I’ll have a more positive review.

I signed up my 7-year old for camp for 5 days and payed $300 for it. I was charged $85 the week after and had no idea for what!!
I called in twice… Diaz just made the matter worse insisting my daughter attended a 6th day. And I had to repeat over and over we did not… I called in again, no use, after a long call I got “wait for the manager next week” I am filing a dispute through my bank.
Either pay cash or expect unnotified unapproved charges. No heads up no curtesy.
Too bad, it did seem like a great facility, friendly and welcoming, and my daughter was happy. I am surprised, I haven’t run into such unauthorized charges in ages. And the customer service is even more surprising failing to handle a small issue like that. I was making plans to extend camp and sign her up for regular classes, but I am not willing to go through such hectics

Our daughter started at this gym on their HOPES team about a month ago and the progress she’s made in just a few weeks is impressive. The coaches REALLY care that each of their gymnasts reaches their full potential. I’m really excited to have our daughter at this gym and can’t wait to watch her grow!

Update. Since this review, my daughter broke her arm at Discover Gymnastics. It happens, I get it. However, the way they dealt with it was unprofessional and dangerous. They said she hurt her arm and was ok after crying a little. They even asked if she wanted to get back on the barre but my 5 yr old said no. My nanny picked her up at the end of the day and they told her she had hurt her arm and was upset, coach said they checked her arm and it wasn’t broken. When she got home it was bruised, the arm movement was very limited and she was in agony. Took her to dr, got X-ray and for sure was broken. Spoke to Discover Gymnastics and they don’t have any kind of protocol for these type of things. They just check them out. They should call the parent when someone gets hurt to let them decide if they need further care or not. They’re obviously not qualified to diagnose a broken arm and if she had decided to try to get back on the barre, she would have hurt herself even more. I used to love this place but until there is something in writing/protocol after an accident, I’m not risking my children’s safety.

There were some Discovery Gymnastics coupons on Groupon, so I said why not and purchased some of them. My two older boys were 3 and 5 at the time and they seemed to enjoy attending the Parent’s Night Out night. They were kept occupied with various activities. The location maybe confusing to some, i would have been lost without my Google Maps telling me where to turn.

Our daughters love Discover. We have one in competitive track and the other one took classes. I couldn't see myself going anywhere else. It's amazing how fast they learn at such a young age. Both receive the best training.
Also, the atmosphere is really positive and we feel safe leaving our kids for their awesome Parents Night out. The kids beg us to take them. If there were six stars I would give it.

Our toddler (2 years, 4 months) absolutely loves her morning class. She jumped right in on our first visit. We visited two other gymnastics places around town----one was too unstructured (more like play time) and the other was far too regimented (parents were yelling at their toddlers and coaches were very negative). Discover Gymnastics is a very positive but structured environment, and it was perfect for our daughter. We love the coach. My only wish is that there was another class division to separate the young toddlers from the older toddlers, since each child has different skill sets. We will definitely keep coming as long as our daughter has fun and keeps getting good exercise and learning skills!

I thought this would be fun and exciting for my 3 year old grandchild. Well her teacher gets "frustrated" with her class because some of the 3 years which include my granddaughter did not listen so her instructor told her class that she was mad at them and told my granddaughter that she needed to go to her mom and go home and come back another day. Really, I was floored. Number 1 they very expensive and this is some thing that should be fun for the kids they have 1 adult for every 6 six kids..really. No happy at all. They don't give refunds so I am out that money because she will not be returning.. and like another review stated the instructors are young and don't have a clue and are busy gossiping or standing around

Best gym inside the loop! From fun to serious, they have classes for every need. We have 4 kids who have all participated in some part of their program. I saw a review about their safety issues. I completely disagree. I suppose your kids could get out of the door really easily if you aren't paying attention, but that's why you're the parent and their business title is not Discover Babysitters. All in all, great gym!

Great place for kids to get started in gymnastics or dance! Friendly staff and nice equipment for the kids to utilize! Only downfalls is that it is usually crowded (which is a good sign really) & classes seem a Lil unorganized but a lot of fun for the children! I Recommend doing one-on-one private lessons with Fransisco if you really want your child to excel in gymnastics, he is the BEST!!!

Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Our daughter is 5 and Discover was recommended by one of her friends parents. I thought it would be a dance class with a few flips included. But this is serious gymnastics and Reagan loves it. What really makes it great is coach Karen. She has a real gift for working with children. We are actually trying to start a second class we love it so much.

I just held a birthday party for my niece at Discover Gymnastics. Let me tell you, she and her friends had a BLAST!!! It's the easiest party (and least expensive) to have! They enjoyed all of the equipment, the Olympic march, and even enjoyed setting me straight on the safety rules! lol
I gave DG only 4 stars because I don't agree with their time extension policy (and because they no longer provide balloons -bummer!). I had a few guests arrive quite late and I requested to extend the time. I called a few days before the party just to make sure if I could extend the hours if I needed to. The woman said yes but I'd have to pay a fee... which is understandable.
But at the party, I realized that, basically, I could only extend the party IF the teen coaches wanted to stay with us. Which of course they said no. However, the lady and gentleman that worked the desk (I guess they were the managers?) were really sympathetic to my situation and gave me free gym nights for the kids that were late instead of the extension. Ten minutes into me going back out with the kids to play, they decided that they would stay with us when the coaches left.
So we totally got our extra time! The woman that worked the desk even forced me (in the most polite way) to stop cleaning and working and told me to just enjoy the party. She was the sweetest. The two of them made the party at Discovery Gymnastics sooo worth it!
