Been going here over a year and have noticed a real difference in my strength. I am an ultrarunner and this cross training has done wonders for my ability to reach my goals. Am also starting to train one on one with Mike and am seeing even more gains. Even though there are more males vs females, I donβt feel out of place or like itβs a βbroβ-y gym at all. Everyone is really supportive.

Easley boxing is the best we found in Austin! They not only support students, but have a supportive community that allows new members to grow and learn at a fairly quick rate. Best in town.

My teenage son has been training there for about a year and a half, and it has been an incredible experience for him. Easley has great instructors and a pretty amazing community of hobbyists, serious amateurs, and some real pros working on becoming better versions of themselves and supporting each other. It's a special place.

Good knowledge, however customer service is absolutely terrible and ruins the totality of the experience you will have at Easley Boxing. Below are just some of the issues I had.
I purchased ten packs of solo one on one training sessions with my coach at around 65 or 70 dollars each session. The training was supposed to take place every M,W,F at 9AM, but it totally depended on me receiving a text at 7 or 8PM the night before from my coach as to whether or not he was going to show up to my scheduled training. Sometimes I wouldn't receive a text. Sometimes Iβd be on the way to my session and Iβd receive a text thirty minutes before my session informing me he would not be there. He said it depended on whether or not other boxers wanted to switch the times they wanted to train for the day. They were always given priority, which made me feel like I was a burden to be a customer at this place. My coach was consistently 10 or 15 minutes late to our sessions because he wanted to go for a jog instead of being on time for our scheduled session. Once he trained some other student along with me during my solo 1:1 session... double the profit I guess. There is no way for students to verify the accuracy of the quantity of sessions left. My 10 pack of lessons would mysteriously be reduced by two or three sessions before he would call and want more money. The last straw was when I overheard my coach discussing my lack of skill with youth students directly in front of me. I decided right then I was done with this guy and this gym. That was the last session I went to. I let him keep the 4 remaining sessions I paid for. It was something I really enjoyed that I was proud of myself for doing and learning, but after that moment I realized I was an absolute fool.
Anyways, months after informing my coach I was leaving the gym, I was still continuing to be charged. I ended up having to file a fraud claim through my bank and get a new card to get the charges to stop. I had to physically make it impossible for them to charge me again for the charges to stop. How crazy is that? Anyways, in the long run I ended up giving up boxing in totality and just focus on lifting now. This place crushed my confidence and I still haven't gotten it back.

Today was me and my daughters first class here - we were both nervous walking in, those fears quickly dissipated. The coaches were so great to me and my kid and everyone in class was friendly. Serious boxing gym thatβs welcoming to everyone. Canβt say enough about them.

I can't recommend this place enough. Jodie, The Bull, Gabriel.. everyone that coaches here are incredible and very personable. Whether it's for open gym access or classes, I always get a great work out in. Everyone that works out here is very humble and down to earth. You meet a lot of people in classes and it really is a great way to meet new people. If you want to get in shape while also learning a skill set, this is the place that you want to go to. If you don't bring equipment, that's ok. They sell wraps and gloves at a great price. I wish I could take them with me as I move away because this is one of the places that I will miss in Austin. Great team. Great clientele. Great location. Great price. If you're looking for a boxing gym, this is hands down the best around.

I work out there almost everyday excluding the weekends and I really love it. Coach Ernest is the main coach i work with there but honestly all the coaches there are good and very competent. What I enjoy about Easley boxing is they teach real boxing. What I mean is that they teach boxing for self defense purposes as well as for fitness. I recommend this gym for anyone wanting to learn how to fight better and not get hit as well as those who need a good place for fitness and to loose weight.

Easley is the best boxing gym I've been to. Why? The staff is awesome! They're very experienced and always willing to help you out. I'm a beginner and I felt a little intimidated training next to some of the bigger and stronger fighters, but after a few weeks, I felt ready to go. They've got all kinds of punching bags, some free weights, barbells, and group classes. Great place

I was visiting Austin and contacted Easley about working with a boxing coach while I was in town. I was promptly connected with Coach Mike and we did a number of one on one sessions. Mike is a great coach who shares his passion for boxing with his students. The workouts were great - well tailored to my abilities and gave me a lot of tips and feedback to improve my boxings skills. Would highly recommend Easley Gym and Coach Mike to anyone with an interest in boxing.

Terrific boxing gym. The team was willing to accommodate my schedule, which few gyms would do. The prices are fair. Coach Mike is one heck of a nice guy, he knows boxing, and his workout was intense. Real fun, and real challenging. Iβve found the best place around to get fit.

I was visiting Austin from Chicago and knew i needed a place to train/do general fitness for the month and a half while I was in town. I have boxed casually (some smokers, sparring, general group classes) for 3.5 years and came across Easley Boxing. I signed up for classes and private sessions with Coach Mike and becoming a member of the gym was one my highlights of living in Austin.
Incredibly professional in the way they run their group classes, and absolutely fantastic trainers 1:1. Jodie and his team treat everybody with the same level of respect whether they are a pro, or a first time class taker (they have both there at the same time).
Working with Coach Mike in our 1:1 sessions immediately made me a better boxer . He was a great motivator, great instructor and knows what you need to hear to get you through a workout and the results you want.
Whether you want to go to the next level, learn to box, improve your boxing, or just ensure you balance out your eating habits in Austin, I can't recommend the friendly Easley boxing more highly.

Badass boxing gym, I love the fact that the place is small- it gives the gym a very homey vibe and you have a sense of community among the boxers there along with the very friendly and inspiring coaches. Definitely plan on staying here

We set out looking for a place for my son to learn boxing and get in shape. Easley Boxing has exceeded my expectations. It feels like family! Not only is the owner professional, he offers great advice to get the best out of your time there at the gym. They donβt just take your money, they care, they motivate and inspire you to be your best! Coach Mike is amazing with my son, when he notices that my son is ready to give-up he is right there pushing him and encouraging along the way. Best decision we ever made to join the Easley Boxing Family! Thanks Coach Jodie and Coach Mike for pouring into my son! - A. Hannah

Rumble gym offers something for everyone. I have a family of three and all of us go here 3-4 times a weeks. Need to learn from the ground up, no problem. Trying to loose weight, they got you. Already know how to fight and need to sharpen your skills or find an opponent, strap up. The coaches are amazing and will work with anybody that puts in the work. The prices are reasonable and the options are plenty and flexible. Just remember to bend those knees.

I looked all over Austin to find a gym where I could really learn boxing. I was looking for the old school vibe and didn't want the aerobic cardio boxing that you see at most studio gyms. At rumble, I actually found both. I started with the aerobic classes with coach Rob and Alexis to get my feet wet. Once I developed an appetite to learn more, I hired coach Ernest for personal boxing training and have elevated my technique and skills. I also lost 20 pounds and gained a ton of confidence in my ability to defend myself. Rumble ATX is a humble gym located in South Austin. Its a family community and everyone is nurturing and positive. It can be intimidating to walk into a gym, especially a boxing gym, but at Rumble you feel like you are with family. I recommend going in and give it a shot. Its a month-to-month membership and no contract (which was also a plus!) Overall, I have replace my Gold's Gym membership and Rumble is my full time gym now.

Have only done 3 sessions at Rumble but so far my expectations have been far exceeded. First class was free and was one of the best workouts of my life. The trainers are awesome, do a great job of motivating you to work harder while also making sure you have correct form, etc.

Rumble Boxing is a friendly place to get in great boxing shape. The trainers are skilled in working with people of all experience levels. If the reviews are older then 1 year they are referring to an older establishment "The fit pit", while the same location it's under new management. I would look into it if you wanted to get conditioned and be surrounded by people passionate about boxing.

I went to the fit pit expecting it to be organized, and it is NOT! A lot of the reviews talk about how amazing coach Art is. I only saw the man behind glass in his office on the computer. His son teaches the beginner class, he is more concerned with flirting with all the pretty girls than helping answer any questions newbies may have. Here is another thing he had the whole class clean the mirrors in the gym AS PART OF THE WORKOUT! What? If you aren't concerned with possibly hurting yourself , and you don't mind people yelling at you saying they "don't have time to repeat themselves", when in fact you were never told to listen to this person, or told their name, and that they would be leading the "class". Then go ahead and sign up here! Personally I feel I have received better instruction from YouTube videos.

I was looking for a nearby place with lots of bags and training partners. The Fit Pit was perfect. There's not much in the way of classes there, but the gym seems to be open all day Mon-Sat. So it's VERY convenient.
Even more convenient was the price. I signed up with Art, the coach who runs the gym (think Rocky's coach from the movies), to do some Private Boxing Lessons. After all, they were only $30 an hr. And he seems to know his stuff. So I couldn't pass it up.
However, because my first lesson was considered an Intro Lesson, it was free. And because I bought 4 Private Lessons he added another 2 on top of it. So that's 7 Private Lessons for $120! Plus as long as I'm doing Private Boxing Lessons I have full use of the gym without paying anything else.
You can't beat the value of this place. I tipped him because it almost felt like he was giving me too much for too little. But Art seems like a genuine guy who just loves the sport of Boxing and when I asked him why he charges so little he said that he just wants to make sure everyone who wants to learn it gets that chance. That's pretty cool.
