Driven by both funding and community-identified priorities the Eastside Y incorporates a host of new and reimagined offerings, including:
1. A Community Demo Kitchen and resident dietician
2. Shared food distribution program through a partnership with Cook Children’s and Texas Health that provide fresh and shelf-stable foods.
3. A Tech and STEM space for youth and teens
4. “The Garage” a reimagined teen-friendly workout space that focuses on performance, agility and strength as well as community
5. Enriching programs that include traditional sports, Silver Sneakers, day camps and group fitness classes to the innovative like backpack drives, STEM nights and cooking classes.
6. Renovated pool and deck.

Staff were extremely nice, and the selection of workout equipment was great. Never got to see the pool or go to a cooking class due to the work schedule being sporadic. Only went a few times, as I had to walk a few miles to get there, which took a lot of time in and of itself, hence, another reason I went up there only a few times.

This park is such a depressing little park. I hope that it they have plans to upgrade the playground because it’s in dire need of safety updates. The newly updated Eastide YMCA is a beautiful facility inside but this playground is an eyesore!

Everyone is so welcoming and kind, the sweet lady at the check in greets me by name. My kids have loved child care and the attention they get. Everything is clean and well kept. Great variety of equipment and machines. Most importantly, I love how close it is to my house.

Do Not register your child in swimming lessons with them. They have no experience and are just a waste of time and money. lifeguard very rude with the kids

Friendly helpful staff, clean and quiet place.Very comfortable to work out.

Small accommodations staff is real nice. If you're looking to improve on your Fitness I suggest go to the east side. It's not real crowded. People are very nice.

I brought 4 neighborhood kids with me during the free swim lessons. They were treated poorly. There's nowhere for the neighborhood kids to swim so I asked for a few passes. The Director only gave me 3, and wrote all over them to specify they were only allowed during a few time slots. I know the Y always gives free passes, so this was shocking. It was clear she didn't want these particular kids coming back. The staff is rude and not engaged. One of the life guards was friendly, but the rest were really inconsiderate.

Mi husband, son, and myself used to go to this YMCA everyday in 2014 & 2015. We Miss it. They were like family to us. They always treat us right. I used to go the Zumba, Yoga, and Body Shred classes, and I can't find another place and people like this YMCA team. We Miss Mrs. Karen, Ada, Katy, Zuheila, Nicky, Mr. Jackson, Roney, Rodney, the soccer coach for toddlers. Their price is good for everything they offer. Thank you for making my staying in Fort Worth so warm YMCA!

The cost to go swimming for a child for two hours is way too expensive for the area that the YMCA is located in. Land value is low and cost is high for a max of two hours to the public. The quality of the pools is low and the water is hot. Overall a bad place to enjoy an afternoon.
