I can't speak highly enough about Embody. From my first consultation call to first workout to now - I feel supported, encouraged, and inspired. Lindsay is the first PT I've had that makes me feel good about myself, is real with me, pushes me, and truly present in our 1:1s. I actually look forward to my training session (which is a first). Also shout out to PT Natalia who is there when I'm there and her knowledge on supplements, women's bodies, etc. is endless and love talking with her and learning from her. I know she is a great PT as well. This is the only place I'd recommend for PT sessions - they get it, its clean, its real and personal. So if you are on the fence about where to go to achieve your goals, learn new things, and actually enjoy working out - Embody is the way to go 100%.

I've been doing personal training with Erica for 3 months now and it's been a great experience. I had a baby 11 months before and was finally feeling like I wanted to get back into fitness, but didn't know where to start that was safe and effective. Erica gives great direction on form and has helped me feel confident lifting heavier than I thought I could. She does this by balancing motivating me to do more, while checking in on how I feel with each exercise so I always feel like I'm getting stronger safely. I visited several fitness places that promised a personalized plan to fit my needs and one on one training only to find that I didn't get what they promised. A group of 5 isn't one on one. Worse, "individualized" should mean to meet my needs not the trainer's. When I contacted Embody Fitness, Lindsey, the owner not only promised me that I would get what I wanted. I believed her. She wasn't kidding! I was very pleased to find that her trainer Cailin listened to my history. She heard every word and tailored an immediate workout for me that day. I was so pleased with the one on one time we spent and with our workout that I signed up before I left. A little more than a month later, I am excited to say that Embody has delivered! Cailin has created a plan truly tailored to my needs. After our 1st session, the free one, i was able to get into my car for the 1st time since my hip revision surgery without having to lift my leg into the car with my hands! Even after working for werks at 2 other places, that hadn't happened. And after every session since, I have left feeling stronger physically and with greater confidence! What a gift! Cailin has a great way with people. I work hard but hardly realize it because she inspires me with her energy and fun ways. We move quickly and already I have met goals. I assumed those goals would take months to meet. I just turned 69, had 4 major surgeries in the past 3 years. I walk 3 miles daily so I have stayed active but my strength is greater so even my walking is more fun thanks to Cailin. I'm excited that my future holds as much physical activity and good balance as my past. Maybe it holds even more! More importantly, I have lost my fear of falling or tripping! I am returning to normal and better after those surgeries with a confidence that I hadn't realized I had gradually lost. I highly recommend Embody Fitness if you're looking for recovery, strength and fun, all in a workout tailored to your specific needs. After all, we're all different! Thanks to Embody and Cailin, I am becoming my best self and the future feels brighter. Skip the broken promises and fulfill them at Embody Fitness!

Lindsay is amazing! This is a boutique fitness studio that offers small classes and one-on-one personal training. I took classes at Orange Theory for years, but I thought I would try Embody Fitness because it is much closer to where I live. Orange Theory is good, but I am sticking with Embody Fitness.
What sets this studio apart are the exceptional instructors and the camaraderie of their small classes. I've upped my fitness game, going from 2-3 days a week at Orange Theory to a consistent 4-5 days at Embody Fitness. The personalized attention I receive during each session is truly unmatched, and I am in better shape as a result.
Whether you're just starting your fitness journey or looking to change things up, I can't recommend Embody Fitness enough.

I personally hate going to a gym, the idea is daunting and uninspiring. I have also had many personal training experiences in the past that I would not recommend. BUT , since I joined Embody Fitness two months ago, my life has changed for the better. Been training at Embody Fitness since May 2022. Lindsay was great when I met with her, to discuss my personal fitness/ wellness goals - I believe that planned workouts with nutrition is the optimal solution. In my first three months I dropped 17.5lbs and 17.5 inches total. I worked out with Lindsay, Heath, and Cailin, and all three trainers have their different styles...and worked well with them all. I now regularly see Cailin - based on time and availability - and thoroughly enjoy our sessions. As an older "athlete" in my 60's, I appreciate them not treating me as an "old person”, but also personalizing my program based on injuries I have incurred over time. I also enjoy that I get to choose the music I want when working out - a real plus :-) AND, with a busy schedule, we always work together when the schedule has to change - life happens. They also take my input on exercises and training methods or just my thoughts and feelings. I don’t get "cookie-cutter" training. If you are wanting to make a positive lifestyle change to your health, and subsequently every area of your life - I would recommend investing in yourself at Embody Fitness.

Between the small classes sizes, and additional things you can do like the nutrition coaching that complements the training, it's a great value for the cost you pay. I'm new in town, and I was surprised by how many of the participants at Embody had been to other gyms in the area before landing and staying at Embody to train. It's Austin's hidden gem for anyone who is serious about improving their health and fitness.

In a sea of trainers and gyms that claim to know what they’re doing, Embody fitness can actually fit that bill. Lindsay, the owner, runs the place with a passion and dedication that you’ll be hard pressed to find elsewhere.

I sought out a trainer to help me take off some of the burden off planning a customized workout schedule and help hold me accountable. I’ve been with her the past 2 months doing both app workouts she programs and individual in person sessions.

Being a Spine physician, I came already knowing something about exercise and biomechanics. I knew immediately that Lindsay knew her stuff and I felt I could trust her to be my second set of eyes, correcting my form properly and pushing my limits in a safe way. I have enough confidence in her that I don’t hesitate to refer patients with low back and pelvic girdle issues to her.

The app she utilizes allows her to customize my program outside of our sessions and she works with the equipment you have to make something that works for you, with a combination of cardio, hiit, strength, yoga etc custom to you.

Overall, like with any exercise program, you need to put the work in to see results, which I am. Lindsay makes it fun to workout, is personable, communicates clearly, knows her stuff, pushes me to give my best, and her rates are competitive for personal training in Austin.

Her gym is very safe from a covid standpoint, she always keeps her mask on, does hands on adjustments only if you’re comfortable, and cleans everything between clients, allowing you to take your mask off if you prefer.

I've been taking Group Classes at Embody Fitness twice per week for many months.  The small classes are always well planned, begin and end on time, and flow well.  Most of my classes have been with Lindsay, but regardless of the trainer, I'm consistently impressed with the clear, direct instructions provided. I've been training with Lindsay (owner of Embody Fitness) for a few months now and it's apparent to me that I will find a way to move heaven and high-water to keep doing so. It's hard to find a good trainer. Sometimes the personalities aren't a good match. Sometimes the trainer doesn't really hear you or your goals or you can't hear them. None of that is the case with Lindsay.

First of all, she checks in with you about your body and goals or homework each time you see her. She remembers where you're at in your progress and what kinds of things you've worked on with her previously. She gives nutritional advice and runs a helpful blog with tips on yummy, healthy places to eat in Austin. She's one of the only trainers I've seen who shares free workout videos with tips for exercising on your own. She helps you come up with homework for yourself in between visits, and not all of the homework is exercise related. Because the mind and spirit have so much to do with the body, homework is personalized to things you want to do that you know will be healthy for you in one of those areas.
