Machines break and get worn down. But it shouldn't take weeks to fix. The duty of a manager is to be ready for all situations and fix things ASAP. Someone isn't doing that well enough. Sauna bench is totally broken, that should of been fixed weeks ago. Machines like the row machines are either broken and need to be replaced or fixed. The gym is always packed i know there enough money for this to not be an issue. Do better

Amending 11/29 it’s annoying how many things are broken here. Today both rowers, at least 2 elliptical, pec fly/ rear delt machine, row machine, ab machine, massage chairs and men’s sauna. There are locker room locks I spoke to the Area Operations Manager months ago that are still broken and no one can put a lock on. Nice staff but not good at maintaining this place.

I had a really disappointing experience at this gym on Monday. I came in for a quick workout while my 13-year-old daughter waited for me in the lobby. At one point she needed to use the restroom, and when she politely asked the front desk, an employee named Kia told her she couldn’t use it because she wasn’t a member.

Other employees didn’t seem to see an issue with her simply using the restroom, but Kia insisted—without any empathy—that my daughter should “go down to Chick-fil-A and use their restroom instead.” This was extremely unprofessional, especially considering she’s a 13-year-old child who was just sitting in the lobby waiting for her parent.

The frustrating part is that I was actually planning to add her to my membership after my workout, since she’s a swimmer and would benefit from the indoor pool. I understand policies and liability concerns, but the way this situation was handled made no sense. Potential members routinely get full tours through the gym floor without signing any waiver first, so refusing a child access to the restroom felt unreasonable and unnecessary.

What made it worse was the complete lack of explanation or effort from Kia to help us understand the policy or offer any kind of solution. The interaction felt rude and dismissive at a minimum.

I hope management addresses this, because experiences like this genuinely affect how welcoming and family-friendly a gym feels.

EOS kept charging me after my personal trainer quit in June and they never reassigned anyone despite multiple attempts to contact them before suffering a back injury. They billed me in July, August, and even September 26 — after confirming my cancellation. I provided medical documentation, followed their policies, and still got the runaround and bogus 30-day rules that violate their own contract.

I have filed complaints with Better Business Bureau, Texas Attorney General's Office, and my credit card company. You should not have to hire an attorney to ensure you get the services you paid for and ensure they honor their own cancellation policies.

This company takes your money without providing services and hides behind fine print. Terrible customer service, deceptive billing, and zero accountability. Stay VERY, VERY far away.

The GM is so unprofessional and will not submit cancelation in a timely fashion, the online options does not work and that is how I signed up

Once you cancel they are only supposed to charge you for your monthly dues and I was charged for another annual fee.

This gym started out great, but has gone downhill steadily. Multiple broken machines that have been broken for MONTHS. Half of the massage chairs have been broken for a long time. Pool/sauna seem to constantly be closed.

I like the space in the gym and the amount of different equipment that many gyms don’t have, but all the unrepaired equipment is frustrating.

My son is in the Army and on August 2nd he went in person to cancel his membership and they said they cancelled it. Then I saw a charge on my credit card a few weeks later and called them. They said the account was still active but they would cancel it and refund me. Then a month later I see another charge and called them a third time and they said the account was still active but they would cancel it and send me an email. They never did. This is a scam. Beware

Beware the fine print on your contract. At the one year mark, it auto-renewed and there was an unexpected fee for that. To cancel you either have to go in to the gym and speak with someone or pay $25 for an account via an app to cancel that way. And there's a 30-day cancellation period, so even once you cancel, you may be charged a final monthly fee. When I spoke to the manager, he was either not empowered to help me or didn't care. I'm assuming it was the latter. Go to the YMCA down the street instead for a better all-around experience.

You really need to do something about the lockers. It’s ridiculous that almost every women’s locker is locked and taken especially on a Sunday afternoon when the gym is nearly empty. I had to waste 10 minutes just trying to find one that wasn’t locked by someone who isn’t even in the gym. This shouldn’t be happening. I know you guys tried once but consistency is the key! I am leaving this gym if by next month nothing is done about the abuse of the lockers… it’s honestly frustrating when all you trying to do is come to the gym for an hour or two and leave.. everyday is the same issue.

My wife and I have an account with Eos and signed her up for personal training. We had a good experience here until we let them know we were moving and needing to cancel. My wife gave a 6 week heads up that she would be canceling the training and membership and was told there would be a note on the account to cancel. On her last training session she reminded them again and they said they would get it all taken care of. I have been getting billed for personal training and membership for over two months since then. I have called 3 times, showed up in person once, and the fitness manager is never available and has never given me a call back. Every time I’ve talked with someone they told me it would be canceled. When I showed up in person it was the first time they let me know I had me fill out a form to cancel training, which I did and am still getting billed. This is ridiculous. I just want to cancel and want my money back for the months we’ve been getting charged.

I like the gym overall, but if you’re looking into personal training, do not do it! It’s nearly impossible to cancel. I cancelled in November of 24 and I have been getting charged since December to April. I’ve called multiple times and it seems the fitness manager is conveniently always in a meeting and you will never get a call back, if they say that, it means call back in a few hours. The operations manager I just spoke to said this will be my last charge before it’s done, which is odd, because that’s what was said to me in January. So now I’ve been charged $544 dollars for a service I canceled about 5 months ago, I have not had a training session during that duration as it’s been cancelled, and I am now playing a waiting game to see if they’re going to hold themselves accountable and reimburse me, or if it will unfortunately lead to litigation. Good gym, poor service.

After 6 full months I received my $544 dollar refund. But ONLY because I had submitted a ticket to the BBB and threatened to go to small claims. That is the one and only time anybody even attempted to reach out to me regarding this issue. Terrible gym. Horrible staff and customer service. They do not care about the people, they only care about scamming the consumers. Equipment is often broken. Amenities hardly work, and when they do, they barely works. The Operational manager even denied me receiving even a month of waved membership because I was “blessed to receive such a large refund” even though I was the only one to put in so much time and effort to get it on top of working and attending school full time. Absolutely ridiculous behavior. I will forever stand by the fact that EOS is a terrible gym.

The people are very kind and every time I enter and leave they always acknowledge me. The GM is trash, the front desk staff is always amazing and on top of things but management and sales will make your left and right butt cheek itch.

Some of the amenities don't live up to the hype, there is always a funky smell in sauna. The location is questionable but it serves the community. However I'm currently trying to get money back from being charged after cancelling a month in advance 😕 so there's that but I'm always in good spirits regardless.

Just be careful not to trust the word of the GM he's not a good dude and will fast talk you just to get you to leave or wait over an hour for help he never gives.

I will NEVER recommend this place ever. NEVER. Lied and told me that childcare is covered in monthly membership which was a separate fee. Then paired me with a fitness trainer that was pregnant who is now on leave. I asked to cancel and now they refuse to cancel my membership. SCAM. 2nd review I’ve left for anywhere because I only do so when it’s a super frustrating experience.
“10 dollars a month” is a complete manipulative statement. First 3 months on the lowest plan I have been charged over 120 dollars. It’s a 50 dollar enrollment fee on top of the “10” for the first month but it’s 10 with tax so 13 and some change. So 64 for your first month. And then 2 months later you pay a 60 dollar “annual” fee which I was not informed about. And so the 3rd month is 78 with taxes, and when you don’t have 78 for them to pull out of your account they add late fees so 93 for the 3rd month. This has been the worst experience I have had out of the 10 gyms I’ve tried. Stay away if you want a cheap membership. It’s a scam scam scam scam scam.

I cancel the gym membership through the phone with there customer service cancel in person at the gym and also called they charged me $320.00 for the first payment they tried to charge me $240.00 for the second payment due to another one time charge this time the annual fee trust me they want to scam you and make it super stress full for you to cancel so they can keep taking your money little do they know i block them through my bank and all the charges they made on my account the money was refunded back lmao so i got a free gym membership for 3 months long story short 🤣😭

Love EOS but this is not a great location. I stopped in to go for a swim and the women's locker room which seemed relatively clean had not one, but two used pads on the floor.

It’s a really good gym they have a lot of different machines some I’ve never even heard of, plus the movie room is nice especially when I first started and was trying to get used to things. And the amount of things you are allowed access to for the price is really nice it’s a lot cheaper compared to other plans
But the reason I gave it 2 starts is because this specific location does NOT enforce the rules set in place at all, especially when it comes to the locker room. Every single locker is taken by a personnel lock which when I first joined I was told that wasn’t allowed. I have to go searching for a locker everytime I want to use one, over 100s of lockers and almost every single one is taken by a personal lock and the management won’t do anything about it. There is also a no photos or video in the locker room so that others can feel safe while inside the locker room but every time I go in I have to dart pass someone taking photos of their bodies when they literally give you an entire room dedicated to doing that in the gym but they don’t use it and again management doesn’t enforce it. Half of the people working there especially at night don’t care they usually just ignore people and are on their phone with headphones. Thankfully I’m only using this one till the one down the road from me opens up, but until they change their ways I highly suggest finding a different location until then.

Every single locker has a lock on it. Its extremely frustrating and unfair to those who actually take their locks off to let others use them. I hate it here now. I've been coming to this gym since it opened, it was never this bad.

I was so excited when I joined this gym 10 months ago. Now the massage chairs are never working at full capacity. The hot tub isn't always hot. The cyro therapy beds aren't always working. The compression therapy half works. I joined this gym for the recovery aspect..it's surely not the same.

Came in with my husband to get some information about personal training. The guy at the front desk was very friendly he took us over to the fitness team (I forgot if that’s the exact name of the section) to get more information. The guy he initially took us to was sitting at his station look at his watch and says oh I’m going to lunch with a bothered look. I understand but it was rude to say in front of guest. From that moment on it was no for me. The girl that helped us was nice but the whole first encounter cancelled it for me. Sadly this is a nice gym with great amenities but the customer service could use some work.

Staff is nice! The gym is spacious and they got a great stretch staff that will help you with mobility! Britney and Jesus gave me a trial and they both know what they’re doing! If they approach you give it a try! They’ll take care of you and are nice outgoing people

I love the gym, great facilities, nice and open areas, lots of equipment, and high quality. However, I got the top tier membership to be able to take the classes, mainly try out a Pilates class, but it’s only offered 8am on a Thursday! I’m a full time employee that goes to work at 6:30 or 7 am so why is the only time this class is offered?? It’s very frustrating.

I despise this branch of this gym. The employees are always rude at the front door. There are always machines out of order. They don’t pay attention to what’s playing in the theater. And when you sign up they DO NOT disclose all of the fees and extras. Please know if you have kids under 12 and want them to go to daycare you have to pay a membership for them as well

doesn’t matter what membership you pay; they don’t fix equipment that’s broken, and you’re walking around the whole gym looking for tricep ropes. A/C is non-existent in the back room, and lights are on longer than the “30 min”

Atmosphere was amazing, as well as the selective equipment they have to offer. However, the fitness manager Von was horrible. 10/10 DONT RECOMMEND him! Initially got a membership started with Sydney (who was very welcoming, attentive, & kind), after about 15 minutes with Von I had cancelled the membership before even leaving the gym.

Run from this place .. such terrible customer service and the personal trainer plans are a scam!!! i was not satisfied with my personal trainer Liz, after running 10 min late for my session. which i called and gave her notice i was running late, she decided to start doing her own personal workouts during the rest of the time i had yet she still wanted to charge me a no show fee when there was still enough time left in my session to workout, on top of already rescheduling me to come another day because she didn't wanna continue with the rest of my session. i paid for a service that wasn't rendered because she caught an attitude. i feel like she was just trying to make me pay for being late, and this was only my 1st time being late.

I was resistant about joining this gym due to the pricing, but it’s worth every penny. The overall cleanliness of the facility outdoes ALL its main competitors!

This location can get extremely crowded in the afternoon and some mornings around 5:30am. I usually go earlier or very late for that reason.

I originally spoke with Sydney over the phone—she was very kind and informative. However, the rest of the staff doesn’t always meet that standard. The employees in the morning might as well not be there since they’re either on their phones, talking to members for far too long, or hiding in the bathroom. I’ve noticed this behavior a lot recently; when I started going last year it wasn’t as bad.

The machines are kept clean by both staff and members, but when they do malfunction or break, I’ve noticed it’s a give or take on whether it’ll be properly fixed.

The bathrooms are pristine compared to other gym bathrooms. I know people love to complain about gym bathrooms but honestly I’ve only seen this one dirty maybe once.

Interior aesthetic is pleasing to the eyes. I’d even go as far as saying that it’s motivational!

I love, love, love that this is a 24 hour gym! It would be great to see a location open up in Denton…

Maybe it will change, but I believe first impression is everything! The greeter/welcome desk/ front end always sets the tone and stage for the entirety. I will not disclose the young lady’s name. From the front desk end because I believe in grace. But however, the way I was spoken to I did not feel welcomed nor appreciated for my time or even having a membership. But I’ll leave this here is best to treat others how you would like to be treated. (Valued/Respected/Appreciated). It made me want to cxl my membership and go elsewhere.
However, my family uses this gym everyday and enjoys the expierence.
Will give another try and update !
