PT is pretty decent/good.
Cons:
The PT sales guy — or maybe the sales team — I met was pretty pushy. I felt like I was being sold to rather than actually being helped. I was on the fence about doing PT and needed time to think, but they kept pushing me to sign a 4-month contract. I was inexperienced with all of this, and it was hard for me to say no directly. I guess part of it was part of my fault, but is sales these days really just about being pushy and trying to get money out of customers? You have to be be aware with their sales tactic.

Joined this gym for 3 months now.

I gave 4 stars is because their front desk employees are always friendly and greet you. Shout out to "Desinee", she is super nice and professional. I had my first stretch session with "Jamie" and he is phenomenal. I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a stretch session. The price is reasonable.

I don't give 5 starts yet because I'm still hoping to see they organize their equipments more frequently. I have been having difficulties to locate the equipments at the same spot. Everytime I go things always get displaced. Also, it seems like they have not updated their movies at the theater. I always see the same movie or they play very old movies (like James Bond) over and over.
They only open for less than 6 months so I hope they can keep up with the cleaning and good vibe from their employees. Otherwise you will see more people complaining...

I recently dropped my son off at the childcare center at EOS Fitness in Frisco. While check-in went smoothly, something in my gut told me to check the cameras before starting my workout, and I’m glad I did.

There were three sitters and only three children, including my son, who was the smallest. I watched him struggle several times to pull out a chair with no one offering to help, to the point he just sat at the edge on the side of the chair. He then tried to hand something to one of the sitters, but she barely looked at him, and just pointed in another direction (this happened twice). Later, I saw another child chasing after my son, not in a playful way, but trying to take a toy he was holding. My son kept saying “no,” and still, none of the sitters stepped in to help or guide either child. This was all within 5 minutes!

At that point, I went into the room upset and called my son over, saying, “Uh-uh, come here,” to get his attention as the little girl just snatched the toy out of his hands. I then asked the sitters why no one had intervened, especially when it was clear the children needed guidance. Instead of addressing my concern, one sitter got defensive and said, “Well, you just dropped him off,” with an attitude and a dismissive laugh. We went back and forth in a dispute, mainly me telling her that I had every right to protect my son and rather than her being dismissive, she should try to ask me what happened and how could they correct. What made it worse was that a manager was sitting in the room the entire time and said nothing to mediate.

I understand that kids will be kids, and moments like that happen, but it’s the staff’s responsibility to be attentive, to step in, and to guide them through those moments safely. With three caregivers and three children, there’s no excuse for that level of inattention. My son will not be returning, and I truly hope EOS reviews the childcare staff at this location and addresses this lack of supervision, even if for 5 minutes, it only takes a second.

En principio estaba muy contento con este gimnasio y tenía una buena expectativa de este gimnasio, pero últimamente se ve al gimnasio más asqueroso Nilo ni limpian los baños da asco y sauna tiene mal olor a los equipos tan mal lleva más de un mes increíblemente y no toma nada respecto, intentó hablar con el el manejador de este gimnasio y no me no me dan opción. Would give this gym 0 stars if possible, I went today to pay my membership because I switched credit cards and my card didn’t go through so I was going to update it. I tried calling yesterday to update it and wasn’t able to, so I go today in person to change it and got charged a $30 fee because of a 1 day delay when I explained everything to the person upfront. Ridiculous customer service and lost a membership for a ridiculous fee. Managers should teach their front desk that gym will win more money by giving good customer service than a stupid fee. Have also had many problems with front desk with them not letting my brother who is 18 in because they confuse him with someone else, happened multiple times. Gym sucks don’t recommend it at all

Big-time one star because this is Texas and they built this gym. So small. There's nowhere to park. They have now asked that you stopped parking where everyone was trying to park. Once the spaces run out in the parking lot. My workouts at a gym have completely decreased since joining this gym because it's so packed. They have a turf area that is always crawling with people. If you know that you're building a gym and in the state of Texas, then you should know that the gym and the turf area needs to be large enough. I really hate that. I joined this gym because I became disgusted with it very quickly. at this point, I don't even care what they have. It is very demotivating to go to this gym, and I have worked out for over 30 years.

I had some extra time today so I decided to try out a different Eos than my home location. I was trying my hardest not to fall in love with this location but it's just so perfect.

There's a ton of space on the main gym floor so you don't feel like you're constantly on top of other people. Everything I need and want is at this location including some equipment I didn't know I needed. It has not 1, but, 2 chest supported, plate loaded T-Bar Rows! My home Eos has a landmine with no proper handles and 0 T-Bar Rows. They also have a ton of Arsenal equipment which I love including a Standing Chest Press, Leg Presses that can be changed from both legs to isolation, and a Vertical Leg Press.

There are 12 squat racks, 5 Smith Machines, and at least 16 cable stations. They also have the "good" benches that can be used for incline rows. My home location has the Hammer Strength benches that are terrible because you can't use them for any sort of row (the lift/lower mechanism is in the way and there's no place to put your dumbbells when you're done unless you just throw them on the ground).

This location also has "The Set" which is a nicely lit room for taking selfies or video of you getting your pump on; my home location does not have this amenity. They also have a lot of cardio equipment but sadly, only 1 manual treadmill which seems to be par for course for Eos.

The other thing that stands out is the climate control, walking into my home location was like walking into a freezer all summer long which is not great for working out IMO. This location does a better job of keeping it cool but not so cold you need a sweatshirt to workout. I really like the natural light that comes in from the skylights in the middle of the gym. Overall, this is the gym I wish my home location was. I will definitely be returning to this location on my Back Days and really any time I have extra time to make that drive because it's worth it.

I was tossed around from person to person during the sign up process and it was evident they kept trying to upsell me. After I declined personal training, they asked what I did for workout so they could tell me it wasn't good enough and that I needed training. After all that, I tried to shrug it off thinking I wouldn't interact with people much, just go workout alone. But the gym was so crowded and loud I came home so dysregulated from the environment. I called the next morning to cancel (they didn't have a trial, but a 3 day no penalty cancellation policy) and it took 3 weeks and many phone calls for them to actually cancel. They outsource membership management to ABC Fitness Solutions and wow they are incompetent. I talked to multiple supervisors trying to get this simple request complete but they cannot communicate between their different departments. So, in summary, I spent more time on the phone trying to cancel my membership than I spent within the gym itself.

I just joined about a month ago thinking this was going to be great with all the amenities. However the Infrared sauna is not even hot enough to allow most people to break a sweat and the hot tub is not that hot. As a hot tub owner for over 20 years I have advised them that 101 degrees is a must for proper sanitation but even then it is best to have it at 103 or 102 degrees Fahrenheit for the health and wellness benefits. Who wants to sit in a semi hot tub of germs and not even get any health benefits? Come on guys, let’s get the saunas and hot tub up to par where they benefit the patrons much better and are safe without a sesspool of bacteria. I know that you’re gonna say you can’t do anything about it because this is what the local Health code is and I call BS. All the other gyms and wellness centers in the areas at lease have these things right and working for them.

ORIGINAL POST: I'm done with this Frisco EOS. I loved the fact that this gym is so close to me compared to the one in Plano on Preston. The equipment is nice, the facility is more spacious, and I like the amenities they offer. However, every time I go for my early morning workout the sauna on the men's side is atrocious and putrid smelling. The floor isn't mopped, clothes and towels are left there, and worst of all it doesn't even feel like the sauna is on... It feels like a typical garage in Texas on a mild spring day. Every time I ask an employee (I've asked at least 5 since coming here when it opened) if this location has set hours for the sauna or to inquire if it's open for use and I always get, "Yeah, it should be working" or something or the sort but never a straight answer. I'll keep going to the Plano location for now but might just have to explore other gyms since facility cleanliness only seems to be for people who go during working hours.

UPDATE 10/13/25: I visited this location at my normal 2am time a few times shortly after the response to my post. Since then, I've seen a whole team of cleaning crew attending to the gym and it was spotless! I also appreciate the reminders in the men's locker room about not leaving towels there (though I still saw a few strewn about).

Although I never got an answer concerning the sauna, I think I figured out that this location turns it off overnight at some point and turns it on around 3:30am. Although I'd prefer it be 24/7 like the other locations I've been to (I like to be out of the way from the morning crowd coming in ~4Am), I can work with that 3:30 time.

She truly pays attention to them, plays with them, and makes sure they’re always happy and safe. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with the kids like she does. This is a new gym and the facility was quite phenomenal when it first opened! Since then they have oversold their memberships so it is impossible to get on equipment between the hours of 5 PM and 8 PM Monday through Friday and most any hour of the day on Saturday without a wait. The equipment breaks down regularly and it takes days to weeks to repair. Do not get the black membership because you will never be able to take advantage of the leg compressions in the tank the massage chairs or the Cryo chairs…but that monthly draft on your bank account will leave you feeling betrayed. There are simply too many memberships sold and not enough equipment to support the volume of people. Parking is a complete nightmare. Other businesses that share the same parking lot are now painting on the pavement to block parking spaces from EOS members. You literally have to park a football field away, crossing multiple aisles and lanes of traffic. I realize that this is a for-profit business… But my advice would be to stop selling memberships and open additional locations which I know are in the works… The overselling of memberships is causing a poor customer experience and cancellations will be next. Save what’s left of your company image and create a better experience for the members that you have!

Been going to this gym since it's opened and let me tell ya the staff has been so amazing. My fav ppl are by far JORDAN and off course my PT. ISAIAH. This two gentlemens here are beyond amazing, I love Isaiah energy and the motivation he gives me to continue on my weight loss journey I love the work outs he is introducing me to and he always make sure my health and safety comes first. He is very detail oriented when it comes to your work out sets he makes sure that you do things correctly to prevent any injuries.

JORDAN let me tell ya, he has the best customer service ever he actually listens to you and helps you resolve any issues you have. He is the reason my husband and I got paired up with our amazing PT Isaiah and I will always be beyond grateful for that.

I have been coming to this gym for a little over a month now and I am really enjoying it. Parking can be a pain because I feel like the parking lot it is a little small due to the size of the membership but it doesn’t hurt to have to walk a little for a pre workout lol. I want to give a HUGE shout out to the Operations Manager, Ryan and Ben. I dropped my airpods down into a stairmaster and the amount of time they so graciously took to help with taking apart the machine and lifting/moving it around was impressive. They were able to find my case and both air pods and I was so thankful. They both did it with a smile and never had any attitude. I hate to leave poor reviews, but this rating is specifically for the personal training department. The sales team makes personal training sound like a great investment—promising professionalism, accountability, and real progress toward your goals. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.

My first trainer was rude, my current trainer is unresponsive, and the manager of the training staff never returns calls. Messages go unanswered, and it feels impossible to get support. I’ve completely wasted the money I invested in personal training.

To be fair, the gym itself is nice, and the only positive interaction I’ve had has been with the young man who originally sold me my membership. But overall, the staff has been unhelpful, and I’m now considering canceling my entire membership. This has been a very poorly run experience, and I hope other EOS locations are not this bad.

Let me be clear: on paper, EOS Fitness in Frisco is arguably the best value gym in North Texas. The facility is massive, the equipment is solid, and for the price, you simply can't beat it. I’ve been a happy member, consistently impressed by the value. But this review isn’t about the gym— it’s about the scumbag marketing tactics that betray the very members who serve as their most passionate advocates.

EOS runs a seductive promotion: refer three friends, get a free year of membership. Sounds great, right? As someone who genuinely loves the facility, I became its biggest evangelist. I personally brought in between 6-8 friends who are now paying members. I work out with them every week. Yet, when I went to claim my reward, I was denied.

Here’s the catch, and it’s a masterclass in corporate loopholes:

The Referral Trap: Designed for Failure

The entire promotion hinges on a single, fragile condition: your friend MUST give your name at the exact moment of sign-up. If they forget, or if the employee doesn't ask, that referral is permanently void. There are no second chances, no retroactive credits, and no system for confirming a referral after the fact— even if you can prove, without a shadow of a doubt, that you brought them in.

This isn’t an oversight; it’s a system designed to maximize the gym’s marketing exposure while minimizing their payout. They get all the benefit of your word-of-mouth advertising, but have built a convenient escape hatch to avoid honoring their end of the bargain. I brought them thousands of dollars in new annual memberships, but because a couple of my friends didn't follow an arbitrary, rigid instruction during a sales pitch, my loyalty and efforts are worthless to them.

Management's Indifference Confirms the Scam

When I raised this issue with management, I was met with a brick wall. They confirmed the policy is absolute. No exceptions. It became obvious that this wasn't about a simple miscommunication; it was about rigidly enforcing a policy that allows them to profit from their members' goodwill while technically being able to say they "offer" a reward. Final Verdict: Great Place to Lift, Terrible Company to Trust

Everything about the gym itself is nearly perfect for the price point. The problem is the deceptive corporate structure behind it. This experience has left a sour taste and revealed a company culture that I simply cannot support. They created a marketing campaign that preys on the enthusiasm of their members and then hides behind fine print to deny them their due.

We don’t support that.

So, here’s the moral of the story: Come to EOS for the cheap membership and great equipment. But whatever you do, DO NOT refer your friends. Don’t participate in their marketing schemes. Don't give them free advertising. They have proven they will not honor their promises and do not value the loyalty of their members. Enjoy the weights, but protect your wallet and your integrity from a company that clearly lacks its own.

One of the better gyms out here, primary focus is the weights area. Can't beat the hours, I go at 4am when most gyms are still closed. Really good selection of equipment, a large amount of power racks, and enough plates to where you won't run out. A couple cons though,the benches in front of the DB area are too close to the DB racks making it difficult to navigate, it feels like a windtunnel in some areas, some of the pulley equipment needs the slide rails realigned, they stick sometimes making the exercise more or less difficult depending. No deal breakers but if those areas were improved it'd be incredible. Good for powerlifters, bodybuilders, or general fitness enthusiasts.

I visited EOS Fitness in Preston, Frisco a couple of nights ago and I was really impressed. The gym is very complete, with all the equipment you need, and the staff was very attentive and friendly.

But what stood out the most to me — and what I value the most in a gym — is cleanliness. Even late at night, the entire place looked spotless. There was no dust anywhere, everything looked brand new, almost as if it had just opened.

It’s definitely a place where you feel comfortable working out, not only because of the great service and facilities, but also because of the outstanding cleanliness. Highly recommended! 💯

Best gym I've been to and the best price-for-value you can have. It has all the necessity equipment for beginners to advanced lifters to work with. The sign up process is simple and you can workout right afterwards. Plans start as low as $9.99 per month, so it has better value compare to other gyms in this price range. Don't trust the sales team. They will say anything they think will get them closer to earning a commission. The GM and sales staff are telling members they MUST make an appointment with a Coach in order to use the body scan machine. This is a tactic to get you to buy a personal trainer package. There's a lack of integrity and a lot of poorly trained staff.

I like the variety of equipment that the gym has to offer.

Went to EOS Fitness late at night, around 11:30 PM, and I was honestly surprised by how clean and organized everything still was. Most gyms at that hour start to look worn out, but here the machines were tidy, the floors were shining, and the locker room smelled fresh.

The equipment selection is solid, and the gym feels safe and comfortable even at night. I really appreciate being able to train late and still enjoy such a neat environment. Definitely one of the cleanest gyms I’ve been to!

This gym is fantastic. Investing in your health is the best decision, and EoS Fitness offers an incredibly valuable service. The gym is spacious and well-equipped with numerous machines.

Always sign up online - avoid the sales tactics.

However, during peak hours, it can get quite crowded. Fortunately, it’s open 24/7, so you can adjust your schedule to find a time that suits you better.

The gym is entirely too crowded except for early in the morning between 1 am - 4 am. I should have just stayed at my previous gym. The movie room has limited cardio equipment. They were deceptive when they claimed to have a special to sign up. They said $10 to sign up and no payment the first month but took payment the first two weeks. When spoke to them about it they said it was a deferred payment not first month free. They took the first month along with an annual fee the first two weeks. Beware of deceptive advertising from this franchise.

It was good at first but now it’s starting to become a 💩 gym.

Overcrowded, unsanitary, and features not working. Employees are inconsistent / hit or miss. They either help you or don’t care about issues at the gym.

Massage chairs aren’t working when you scan your barcode or put your number in.. and dude at the counter could care less.

One associate helped but the other didn’t. So, after a year of being at EOS and referring 3 other members without getting the year free like they claim they will give you.

I swear I’m done with this glorified planet fitness gym when Absolute Recomp opens in Frisco. ✌🏾

I love this gym but damn it’s always packed! Whether it’s 9pm or 9am. They should really limit how many members can bring guests at a time. It’s getting ridiculous. Can’t wait for other locations to open in hopes that it helps!

This is my second day at the gym and I canceled, some girl in the locker room tried to fight me because she thought I was looking at her wrong… the gym is way tooooo crowded and nothing was available both days… seems like everyone is fighting for a spot to workout… I understand this isn’t the gyms fault but just be ready if you decide to sign up..
