I came in for the free trial at EOS Fitness and had a really disappointing experience. Before the trial ended, I went to the front desk, filled out the cancellation paperwork, and was told everything was taken care of. I never received any confirmation, and then I was charged over $100 anyway.
On top of that, the gym itself wasn’t great. The equipment was often dirty, the floors weren’t well maintained, and overall it just didn’t feel clean or professionally run.
I definitely wouldn’t recommend this location.

I’ve been trying to resolve a billing issue for three weeks, and unfortunately EōS Fitness has been extremely unhelpful. I spoke with five different people, including front desk staff and a manager, but no one seemed to take ownership of the problem or follow through.
Both my wife and I were charged earlier than our regular billing date, and we were also charged an additional yearly membership fee that was never disclosed during enrollment. I specifically asked twice if there were any other fees, and was told “no.” Yet on December 7th, we were charged about $240 total, and nobody at the gym has been willing to resolve or refund it.
Every time I ask for help, I get a different answer, or I’m told “someone will call you back,” but nobody ever does. It feels like the staff is either untrained or simply doesn’t care about fixing customer issues.
If you value transparency and customer service, be very careful with this gym. Hidden fees and zero accountability seem to be the norm here.
Finally, My issue was solved by Jonathan (1 Dec 2025), he was very kind and patient. Thanks for help.

Damon is solid. Every time I walk in, he’s locked in, professional, and actually pays attention. No attitude, no bare-minimum energy — he handles the front desk the way it should be done. Quick check-ins, clear answers, and he keeps the place moving even when the gym is packed.

Honestly, I was really excited about joining EOS until I ended up locked into what feels like a 360-deal over a service I was misled about.
I came in toward the end of October to sign up for a membership. I actually started the process online and I should’ve just finished it there. Instead, I spoke with Alex in person. He was great at first, but things shifted when he pushed PT on me multiple times. I told him I wasn’t interested I know how to train, I’ve gotten results on my own but he kept insisting I try this two-week $20 promotion. Because I worked in sales I understood the pitch and agreed only after he clearly told me I could cancel within two weeks if I didn’t want it. I also told him I would be out of the country and wouldn’t be able to use it. He confirmed again that I could still cancel within those two weeks.
He set up a PT session for the next day, but the trainer didn’t even have a full hour to train me but only 30 mins. I asked to reschedule and got no response. I still have the messages showing he followed up a week or two later, which proves I didn’t receive the service.
I returned from my trip and canceled the PT service and that’s when everything went to hell. I was still charged. I called multiple times and kept getting the runaround, so I went in person. I spoke with three different people Alex, Johnathan, and Logan and not one of them gave me a consistent or accurate answer, nor did anyone follow up.
Here’s where things became unacceptable:
Alex originally told me I had two weeks to cancel, but in front of his colleagues he changed it to one week and then quoted 5 days.
Johnathan tried to help but said it was 5 days.
Logan said the contract states 3 days and Jonathan confirmed that but.. one thing for sure two things for certain I was told two weeks, 5 days, then 3days? So which timeline would’ve been accurate since all three of these people plus the contract is saying something different.
Johnathan and Alex admitted that no matter which timeline was correct, I would've been locked into the contract anyway. (Excluding the 2 week cancellation that Alex said)
So which policy is real? Because clearly no one actually knows.
As a customer, I relied on the employee representing your company. I listened to the expert and he gave me incorrect information multiple times. Instead of taking responsibility everyone talked in circles and nothing has been resolved. Meanwhile, I’m still being charged for a service I 1) didn’t use, 2) tried to cancel properly, and 3) was misinformed about from the very beginning.
Johnathan claimed he would escalate to the District Manager, but I have yet to hear from anyone. At this point, I feel completely ignored.
My gym membership is month-to-month yet the PT service I was incorrectly sold is suddenly a 4 month commitment. That makes zero sense.
I’m asking again for someone to finally resolve this issue. I’m prepared to continue following up and leaving honest reviews daily until someone takes ownership and corrects this mistake.

Hi there, if you're looking for a gym that's friendly and welcoming to everyone regardless of size or stage in their fitness journey, this is not the place.
My friend went to this gym and the personal trainer manager made some dumb comment about doughnuts being the reason they could afford a personal training membership. Even if we ignored the total unoriginality of the insult, the sheer stupidity of this tactic to try and make her subscribe to their membership alone could turn anyone away. It looks like the personal training memberships is where most people have their complains. It's easy to see why.
I plan to encourage my friend to take this to a higher level of resolution, or make a video, but in the meantime, stay away from this gym.

My situation is: I have a Will crush membership, I got it two weeks ago (through Endicott ln/Beechnut). I worked out at Endicott one time . and . I went to W Gary Location and worked out 2 times Nov 8 and Nov 9. In the 3rd time (Nov 15), they didn't allow me to workout cuz of my membership is not LUX I made a call last week and got confirmed that I am be able to workout at W gray location based on My membership. What I can say is customer services is not good at all. I need to talk to any of general manager as soon as possible.

After seeing some of the lower reviews, I don't feel crazy for what I experienced yesterday. I just recently signed up for this gym and went to the complimentary PT session because I was interested in the body scan. The actual session was great and my trainer was encouraging and knowledgeable. BUT once it was over both trainers were very persistent at trying to get me to sign up for PT sessions even though I had told them previously and multiple times I couldn't afford it right now. The PT manager I think his name was Logan, was extremely pushy and straight up RUDE trying to get me to sign up. When I mentioned multiple times that I wasn't interested/couldn't afford it, he asked "What are you spending your money on that you can't afford PT? Doughnuts?" My advice for him is if you're trying to make a business deal, maybe don't act like a middle school bully and try to shame women about their bodies. I'm glad I didn't sign up for PT at this location. Microaggressions and body shaming is not how you motivate someone to be healthier.

This gym is a cash crab. I started my membership on 20 October. By November 4th, I was being charged for another month, the annual fee, and more training sessions even though I hadn’t even finished my current ones. It had not even been two weeks, let alone a month and all of this. I’ve never experienced this at any other gym. They wouldn’t even let me finish Out the month that I had already paid for unless I paid for the new charges. This is not the economy to be springing charges upon people when they’re not expecting them. I didn’t even want the training sessions, but fell for the aggressive sales tactics. I feel like I got scammed.

I recently transferred my membership to this upgraded location, and the difference was night and day as far as service. Front desk was nice and polite and quick to assist me with what I needed and set me up with Kai to aide me in the set up process.
I had to ask for my previous tour at the other facility after they said I could only sign up due to a system outage, instead of purchasing a day pass. That tour felt rushed and surface level. I even had to tell the guide to slow down because I wasn't able to actually assess what I was being shown he was moving so fast. But Kai volunteered to give me a tour, took the time to walk me through the different areas of the fitness floor and recovery areas and let me know what all came with my membership. I felt very welcome from beginning to end.
I'm genuinely thankful for Kai's help in getting me settled in. I highly recommend this location and especially Kai for anyone considering joining!

No wonder so many people are getting attorneys because EOS is a SCAM! Look at all the Reddit threads about EOS so you can save yourself from this trap. They completely lie to you about personal training fees. I got charged $723 in two months when I was told I’m only paying about $15 a session. I had less than five 30 min sessions and paid $723 (8x88). What a joke. After you sign up for your membership, they bring in this lady to sell you the personal training program and she omits TONS of important information and misleads you into thinking the fees are much lower than they truly are. They should be transparent of what they are charging but instead they lie worse than car salesmen. I have to change my bank account now because they keep charging me fees after cancelling. The trainers are very morally unethical themselves because when I told them I couldn’t do any more sessions due to illness, they never thought to mention I’d still be charged every week. These people who work for EOS are leeches, bottom of the barrel. Sign up for any other gym but here.

Absolute scam. Do not recommend. I signed up for personal training and I majorly regret it. Long story short, I’ve been charged for about 50 sessions, but I’ve only completed 23. My trainer was a frequent no call no show. When I asked to get this looked at, the fitness manager admitted there was a mismatch for what I’ve paid and how many sessions I did. He said he would email me about it and he never did. I asked to get a new personal trainer. No response. I asked for a refund. That was a no go. This gym owes me serious money. I plan on making some social media posts about what a rip off they are. Since I have 200k+ followers, I’m hoping I can really spread the word on what an awful company EoS is. Shame on you, EoS.

Rating a 1 star for the poor customer service. I called to make sure the fitness manager was available to meet in person to aid with a cancellation issue before spending time to drive to the location. I was specifically told I would be able to speak to the manager, but when I arrived I was told he was in a meeting and was provided the option to wait 30-40 min or resolve the issue later. I was more than happy to wait but when the 40 minutes passed I was then given the manager’s card and asked to email instead. Such a waste of my evening and my time. The employees need to communicate better and step up their service.

UPDATE:
In June, I attempted to cancel a personal-training contract in person. A staff member told me it had been cancelled, and when I asked for a confirmation number, he told me there was none but not to worry bc there was no record of the contract remaining in their system. In July, I cancelled my regular contract to move abroad.
Last week, I realized at least 9 PT sessions had been charged despite the "cancellation." I was pretty angry and filed a BBB complaint. I understand many companies use auto-renewal, and it's a consumer's duty to stay on top of things. Still, I was mad bc the agent had told me unequivocally everything was cancelled after I visited in person specifically to cancel.
It has been about 5 days, and the regional VP reached out to me personally to apologize and offered to refund $400 in PT charges from August - October.
I am satisfied with their response, and although I was mad, I have to admit it's possible the original agent just made a mistake rather than intentionally lied to mislead me when he assured me the contract was cancelled.
I will consider the gym again when I return to Houston. I liked the equipment and location compared to other gyms, but it does get busy.

Incredibly pushy, and not in a good way. Listen, I get it. Everyone has a job and needs to make money. But damn, they can't comprehend the word "no" even if it was spoken directly to their face from 2 inches away. Signing up I thought would be a simple and easy process, not necessarily a more than 1.5 hr experience. Every sales employee will be promoted to Car Salesman soon I'm sure. It's that bad.
I was honest and stated the last time I went to a regular gym, I loss steam and fell off. The manager Logan kept on insisting I sign up for personal training for 4 months, which I'm genuinely not interested in. I say I don't want that, the manager asks if it's because of financial reasons. I say yes, I don't want to be paying over $100 for the next few months when the whole point of joining EOS was to save some money with a local gym. He then states that I must not prioritize fitness and keeps trying to sell me personal training.
Oh my god. Relax.
It wasn't until I literally say, "I'm not budging, I'm not changing my mind" that he stops. What the heck man. At least at other gyms they make it a lot less obvious they want your money.
I don't usually like regular gyms, I prefer mma gyms more because I just love the camaraderie and classes. But I broke my leg and ribs not too long ago and needed to ease into fitness again. I decided to sign up for EOS because it's the only gym in proximity that's not charging $400 for you to sweat on their floors.
I honestly regret signing up. There's already a sour taste in my mouth.

My 91 year old grandmother (a former marathoner, triathlete, and crossfit enthusiast) went in to this gym before their grand opening and signed up for the $19 a month plan and was excited to start using the gym.
Months later, the gym finally opened but she was preparing for a move out of the area to live closer to us. I attempted to contact the gym through phone, email, and the website contact form, and was given conflicting information on how to cancel her membership (she would be outside of the service area and no where near an EOS gym- so contractually would be able to cancel the service; I wasn't asking for a refund yet, at that point). On reviewing her finances, I found that she was also being charged an extra $68 a month for personal training when she only wanted to sign up for the basic gym membership.
Johnathan was very unhelpful and gave me no contact information to cancel and never responded to my follow up emails. Finally, after digging and emailing multiple EOS contacts, I was told that the contracts had been cancelled (this was in April). My grandma got sick and passed away suddenly in June and we are still here in October with charges from this gym on her bank account. On receiving an email at the end of September asking to update her payment method, I responded to that email informing them that she had passed away in June and to please refund her payments and stop future charges. I was sent a $27 refund. They have been billing her nearly $100 a month since LAST October, so $27 barely scratches the surface.
This gym needs to take a serious look in how they process sign ups and contracts. I fully believe my grandma was taken advantage of in the sign up process and to even speak with someone who could actually be helpful was incredibly frustrating. And before EOS responds saying to contact them to get help, I HAVE. Dozens of times. All I asked for was for the contract to be cancelled, payments to cease, and the amounts charged after she moved out of the service area to be refunded. All of which she was contractually entitled to.

I’ve went to several EOS gyms around town and i can see why this gym is Lux. My experience here consistently meets high standards. The equipment is top tier compared to other gym locations, spacious state of the art recovery room, the staff are friendly, men’s locker room is always clean, and the members are respectful. The cherry on top is the amazing view of the Houston skyline which can inspire and motivate you to push through those cardio workouts.

On the evening of September 25, my sister and I visited EOS to work out, and unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant interaction with the front desk staff member, Cayle (or a name similar to that). From the moment we approached, her demeanor was unprofessional and unfriendly. Instead of being greeted courteously, we were met with visible attitude and dismissive behavior.
When I asked why she was providing service with such an attitude, rather than addressing the concern professionally, she escalated the situation by arguing with us. This was both surprising and disappointing, as front desk staff are the first point of contact and should embody professionalism, respect, and customer care.
For a facility that promotes itself as a luxury fitness location, experiences like this fall far below expectations. I strongly suggest EOS reconsider the training and quality standards for front desk staff to ensure that members are treated with the level of service that aligns with the brand’s image.

It’s a great gym, but it’s the same problem with all of the EOS locations. It must be the culture based on the demographics EOS has targeted. It is not uncommon for every plate loaded machine to be left with the plates on it…following someone’s use. These young guys think nothing of leaving six plates on each side of the leg press, not realizing a small female may have to take off 12 plates to utilize the equipment.
It’s just absurd and I don’t know why they tolerate this behavior. It does occur at every single location and It’s my only gripe. Clearly, the fitness enthusiast, regulars, bodybuilders, etc…understand Gym culture, rules, and respect. MANY of the younger “new” members do not. EOS desperately needs to emphasize that you MUST return your weights to proper racks like every other gym in America. It would be so easy just to put up paper signs, hang a sign on the plate loaded equipment, hand out a flyer when people come in… It could change in a matter of days.
Thank you so much for listening, and have a blessed day.

I cannot recommend Damon at EOS Fitness enough! From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcome, motivated, and confident in my fitness journey. Damon is incredibly knowledgeable about both training techniques and overall health, and he takes the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand.
What sets him apart is his energy and passion—he truly cares about his members progress and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re not only working hard but also enjoying the process. Damon has a way of pushing you to your limits while still keeping workouts fun and positive.

Good gym if you are looking for just equipment. It gets crowded but not unbearable. Massage chairs are great when they are working. Sauna is nice and hot when it works. It’s only worked once in the last month. Watch the charges on your account. They will randomly charge your account for drinks that you never requested. I did personal training and the trainer didn’t have the times I requested and the time I did had to pick was so early the trainer missed the work out. They never reached back out to me to help me to find a time that worked and continued to charge me despite emails and phone calls for the manager to reach out to me to cancel the personal training if they do not have the time I need. If you’re looking for a gym to just work out, then this is a great choice. If you are looking for a gym that goes a little beyond, this is not it. Was really hoping this would have worked out m.

Paying 35$ a month for Eos’s highest membership for about a year now and just got told I can’t attend this gym anymore (even though I used to go here before class all the time) because it’s a “luxury” Eos gym. The gym itself is ok at best, very small gym with basic equipment, if you come at any time after 4pm goodluck because every machine will be taken, the parking is very awkward due to where the gym is located and a personal experience of mine was when I took my friend, who just got into working out, here for the first time and a trainer by the name Logan started trying trying teach us some workouts and plan a personal training day which he declined and Logan began to question my friend saying “what are you doing instead, you don’t work” and overall very rude interaction which made my friend more fearful of going to Eos gyms. Overall don’t waste your money on getting a “luxury” gym pass, they just greedy.

Biggest scammed in the entire fitness industry hands down, had a bilingual issue of them overcharging EVERY SINGLE MONTH for 6 months and then billing me 3 months after I requested a pause on my account. Even after closing my account and paying what was necessary, they then stored a new card on file and tried to overcharge that one as well. I would literally recommend ANY gym over EOS. Doesn't matter how functional the inside is the customer service and management is HORRIBLE. Im talking forever 21 level horrible and they are not going to last in the long. The manager chose to hang up on me rather than explain the unethical behavior displayed by her team. You all have officially been warned.

If I could rate this as 0 stars I would. This has been the WORST experience at any gym! Managers are "never there." They take messages and don't return your calls. I signed up for a membership at the end of July. I was supposed to have my first personal training session August 4th at 5. On August 4th at 2:00, the trainer texts me to tell me he's double booked and will need to reschedule me. No big deal. I ask him when he'd like to reschedule and he doesn't respond. The following week, an hour before my training session, I get an email to say the trainer has cancelled my session again. I text him again, no response. I call to see what's going on, no response. WEEKS go by. I call the facility. I physically go up to the facility several times. I call customer service. Customer service "has sent emails." I have also sent several emails. Still, nothing. The training manager is Ms. Arvis. She's never reached back out to me. I paid, and am still currently paying for a service that I never received! I need a refund in full! It's IMPOSSIBLE to cancel! I wouldn't recommend anyone to this franchise EVER!!! It's not about fitness or relationships. It's all about numbers.

I've never had an issue with this gym until tonight. It's pretty clean and modern. It does have the con of being busy almost all of the time, but I can't say I prefer any other gyms in the city. Tonight, I overheard and witnessed 2 of the male front desk employees objectifying a woman who was there to work out. It left a bad impression and I found it inappropriate and unprofessional. We can't control how people around us react but at the very least I would expect the gym staff to make it feel like a safe and judgement free zone since we are all there to better ourselves. I hope this gets addressed.

Made an appointment for a tour. I showed up on time but the sales person that took the appointment was busy. Instead of having one of the 3 free people standing start the tour, I was told it was their sales policy to have me wait to be fair to the salesman. Says a lot about their priorities. I respect that they are fair to their employees.

Great gym you won’t need headphones as members sing and rap for you, when cancelling your membership you can not do it in person also don’t believe what they say to give them your routing and account number use your credit card easier to cancel later, gym is great but a little overpriced at $43 it’s $10 a workout considering you can’t come after work

A friend of mine made the rude comment that “everyone working out here looks like they are on parole”.
But you know what? Really like this gym.
Great equipment.
Especially EGYM.
And there are massage chairs.
One improvement that would SAVE THEM A LOT OF MONEY. Request everyone to use a towel on the equipment to protect against tearing and wear on the material. Towels protect against tearing.
Good Hoist, free weights, Hammer.
Recommended.

I’ve had memberships at all kinda gyms in Houston but this one by far my favorite. Starting with the warm greeting from Jonathan upon arriving. I was nervous about signing because I didn’t want a gym that was over crowded but Jonathan explained best hours to work and made me and my son feel very welcomed nothing was forced and every detail about gym was given.
I ran into some issues with signing onto my online portal and worked with Haley on setting up my account she was so warm and made the process smooth and simple. Don’t see myself changing any gyms any time soon. Customer service here is top notch and gym equipment is always well maintained and clean.

I usually don’t have issues with this location or any EOS location I’ve worked out in but i was just denied entrance because of my membership status ? But to my knowledge I have the plan and pay the plan that allows access to ALL EOS locations & I was not in the mood to argue with the young lady in the front I understand she’s just doing her job. BUT i’m just confused when this is not my first time working out at that location nor my second or even my third. It frustrating having to accommodate my plans for the day just because I can’t do my workout straight after work at the nearest location just because I was denied access wrongfully so. Maybe it’s a system error, not sure or maybe I’m misinterpreting my membership but i’ve worked out in various EOS houston locations. just wanted to shed the light on that issue to fix that error.

PLEASE READ THEIR CONTRACT!!!
Before you sign up be sure to read every single word of that “contract” of theirs. They will scam you out of your hard earned money since they cannot afford the space they’re in. Very hostile environment, and management is very unprofessional to the point that they’ll have their minions tell you they’ll be back later. Also, the personal trainers could use their own advice once in awhile.

My friends and I were genuinely excited to try this gym through our corporate insurance benefit, but what should have been a simple sign-up process turned into one of the most alienating fitness experiences we've ever encountered.
From the moment we walked in, the staff's indifference was palpable. There were no greetings, no smiles - just cold stares that made us feel like intruders rather than potential members. The atmosphere was so unwelcoming that we nearly turned around and left immediately.
The situation worsened when we attempted to use the advertised 7-day trial. Despite having properly signed up online, we were treated like we were trying to scam the system. One staff member actually told us, with noticeable disdain, that the trial "wasn't for just anyone." This condescending attitude was both unprofessional and completely unnecessary.
Most disturbingly, a customer service representative explicitly stated we "had to be local people" to fully access the gym's amenities. This blatant exclusionary practice is unacceptable for any business, especially one that partners with national corporate programs. The implication that we weren't part of their "community" - despite being eligible members - was offensive and discriminatory.
What's most disappointing is that this gym clearly has corporate partnerships, yet has made no effort to train staff on how to properly accommodate these members. The complete lack of professionalism and basic customer service skills was shocking.
For a facility that should be encouraging health and wellness, the hostile environment created by staff does exactly the opposite. Until they address these serious customer service issues and discriminatory practices, I cannot in good conscience recommend this gym to anyone.

I did not know the houston location on Gray was a lux when I "swiped" my barcode. I have a will power membership from California. My folks live in River Oaks and im here visiting my mom who landed in the hospital with kidney failure. I came to this gym because its closest to my folks and I need to continue my cardiac rehab while im away from home. I had heart failure in June. Z stopped me as im walking in and quickly acknowledged that I was from Cali and when I explained I didnt know thatbthis was a 'Lux gym' and that I was only going to be hear til the 20th he called his manager and cleared it that I could come here and notated so on my account! Thank you so much Z and thank you to the manager. Being able to come to this gym and not clear across town is very much appreciated and allows me to spend as much timeas possible with my mom. If you're looking for a gym with great staff a lot of free weights and machines etc as well as clean facilities EOS Fitness on Gray is where you want to go.

So I moved back to Houston and decided to try this gym out: they had this cool room with advanced recovery massage chairs and such which was appealing bc I’m a runner . I was informed that my promo month “trial” wouldn’t include that room so naturally I let the membership lapse and began looking for another gym. Gabriel fixed all that was super friendly and informative so naturally I rejoined the gym. Other than that initial misinformation the gym has a good energy, clean, friendly staff, advanced workout machines and generally productive atmosphere unlike the old 24hr fitness in midtown which felt more like a bathhouse at times. Whether you’re looking to bounce back , bulk or fit into last years summer outfit EOS provides state of the art equipment to get you there and provides a safe environment to get you there and recover. I’ll be cancelling my other gym memberships this week. Thanks Gabriel!

final Update:
I wouldn’t sign up for EOS fitness for principle alone. They intentionally make it extremely difficult to cancel your membership and this is the type of gym where they try to get a ton of memberships. What this means is the EOS location is constantly slammed with people even at weird hours.
I still am getting calls and texts from them even though I’ve blocked multiple numbers at this point. I don’t appreciate their type of gym style-very pushy at a management level which isn’t great for member experience, I’ve been going to gyms for a decade so this point. These type of gyms don’t help people stay consistent and it puts an ick in the front of your mind because or it.

It’s a pain to cancel. Will update when I finally get it to cancel. (EOS this is not the email I used to sign up for you)
Okay I cancelled but it was a mess with no help from EOS. Currently getting so many scam calls from them.

Went in to cancel my membership and was told I had to do it through the website. One of the employees took my phone, tapped around, then handed it back and said, “Just submit this payment and you’re all set — your membership will be cancelled.”
I only got an email confirming the charge — nothing about a cancellation. I called EOS corporate and they told me there was no cancellation on file, just the charge from that day. Luckily they were able to cancel it for me and said they'd apply the charge toward the 30-day notice period.
If I hadn’t followed up, I probably would’ve kept getting billed. Honestly feels really shady. If you're trying to cancel, skip the gym and just call corporate directly.

MONEY GRAB!!! I’ve been a member for over a year at another location, paying $30 a month with access to all gyms. I moved and even though my apartment has a gym, I started coming to this one, maybe once a week, just for a change of scenery. Today I was stopped and told I’d need to upgrade to a $40 membership because this location is considered a “luxury” gym.
Honestly, I thought it was a joke at first. This gym is a downgrade. It feels like they turned an empty office space into a gym. The machines are old, there are no group classes, and there’s even a security guard outside because of car break-ins.
After talking to their staff I finally got the truth. Because it's in the city, there is more demand, which means they can charge more. Simple as that. It’s not about offering more, it’s just about making more money. Even if it means going back on their all access policy.
Sorry but I won't be a part of EOS' money making scheme. I’m canceling my membership and sticking to my apartment gym, which is an actual luxury gym.

I was genuinely excited to try EOS Fitness and was strongly considering a membership. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing and has made me reconsider entirely. EOS advertises a 7-day free trial, which is a great way for potential members to test the gym before committing. However, this location refused to honor it and instead required a $20 fee just to try the facility.
When I asked why, I was told that this particular location is “above the other locations,” despite being under the same EOS brand. This inconsistency across locations is frustrating and misleading. If you’re going to market a free trial, it should be honored at all gyms bearing the same name.
Because of this experience, I no longer feel confident in pursuing a membership with EOS. I cannot recommend this gym due to the lack of transparency and poor first impression.

I came to this gym to utilize my 7 day pass. I approached the front deck and told them I was there on Saturday; I received pushback. On Saturday, the ladies at the front desk asked us for a number and that was it. Fast forward to today, James informed me that what they did was wrong and that they should’ve done abc. First of all, I just wanted to workout, the fact that he put me through all that was ridiculous. After I put my information in the system, he told me I still had to sit down and talk to him which made me uncomfortable. I will not be returning.

Despite some of the reviews I've read, I believe my experience at EOS West Gray has been consistently good. The greeting staff is always friendly and welcoming, which sets a positive tone right from the start. On the occasions I've had an issue with a locker, they've been incredibly quick and efficient at assisting me.
I've visited the gym at various times throughout the day, and even when it's packed, I've always been able to navigate the space effectively and get on the machines I need. What truly sets EOS apart, in my opinion, is the atmosphere. The people here are genuinely focused on their workouts. Unlike many other gyms I've tried, you don't see a plethora of recording devices and tripods set up everywhere, which allows for a more focused and less distracting workout environment. EOS West Gray is, in short, pretty cool.

I signed up for a gym membership online at the Endicott location. When the new location opened closer to my office, I was told I needed to “upgrade” my membership. What actually happened was I was sold a second membership, which I later found out was being billed in addition to the first one.
On top of that, I was charged for personal training I never signed up for or agreed to.
After months of trying to resolve this, including emails and phone calls to both locations and their billing company, I was told the duplicate membership was closed—only for it to be reopened. I received no assistance from the local team. I’ve been promised callbacks that never happened. The communication has been frustrating and the lack of accountability even worse.
At this point, I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and am preparing to escalate to the FTC. Be cautious if you’re thinking of joining. Double check your billing and demand transparency—because I didn’t get any.

If you’re thinking about joining EōS Fitness on West Gray, here’s what you should really know before you sign up.
First off, don’t let the glowing online reviews fool you—EōS has a reputation for rewarding members who leave 5-star reviews, so the ratings can be a bit misleading. I’ve seen them do this first hand. While some folks genuinely like the place, keep in mind that not every review reflects the full picture.
On the positive side, the gym does have a great variety of equipment. Whether you’re into free weights, powerlifting, or machines, you’ll find pretty much everything you need for a solid workout. The space is big and there’s even a turf area for training.
However, there are some real drawbacks. The massage chairs are almost always out of service , so don’t expect to relax after your workout. This can be really frustrating based on having to pay extra monthly for the recovery room. The men’s bathroom and sauna are consistently dirty, which is disappointing considering how much the gym promotes its amenities. Cleanliness is a recurring issue.
And yes, the gym gets extremely busy during peak times. This isn’t unique to EōS, but it does mean you’ll be waiting for machines or searching for a spot to work out if you come during rush hours. It’s something you’d expect from a popular gym, but it can get frustrating.
Bottom line: EōS Fitness West Gray offers a lot of equipment and a big space for a reasonable price, but the cleanliness and maintenance of some amenities leave a lot to be desired. Be skeptical of the 5-star reviews—they don’t always tell the whole story.

I came in today, May 12 at 7:24 PM to set up a new membership. I checked in with the lady at the front and sign into the tablet and she told me to wait a few minutes and someone will be helping me. For a solid 45 minutes all the staff were just at the front talking and hanging out and didn’t check in with me at all. It wasn’t until 815 that I go up and ask how much longer I will have to wait since it’s almost an hour already and I have to be leaving. They told me that they had forgotten about me when I was the only one in the waiting area while they were all just talking at the front. Then I have a membership with my insurance that gives me free membership and then I was told that I still have to pay on top of the membership that I get through my insurance so altogether I spent over an hour waiting just to create a new membership with them and I wasn’t even able to work out since I was waiting one hour wasting my time. Gym is nice and lots of equipment but the staff don’t really care about customers I guess.

I understand the necessity of EOS to ameliorate the crowds in their gyms. It seems that their solution to this is to switch gyms to LUX status making memberships more expensive and inaccessible for an average person. Came in to check out this new location and use a 7 day pass. I received a tour then found out new prices after the fact. I was honest with my tour guide that new prices were out of my range to spare both our time. After this disclosure and discussion with one of his colleagues. I was met with “a policy” that you must be a resident of 77019 zip code to utilize a 7 day pass. If I wanted I could pay $20 for a day pass. I recognize there are other gyms I could go to that are in my price range though I was already here. I went through the EOS questionnaire and tour. They could’ve been a bit more honest about this at the beginning to avoid time wasted.

I signed up for personal training expecting professional guidance and support. Instead, my trainers frequently showed up late, one canceled at 4 AM - only 45 mins before our early AM session, because he was "tired" - showed up late, and even arrived smelling strongly of weed. That level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable in any fitness environment.
I was promised customized workout plans and nutritional guidance but received absolutely none of it. To make matters worse, I later discovered that one of the trainers had misrepresented their certifications. When I addressed these issues, management failed to take any meaningful action or offer real accountability.
This gym is all talk: slick sales pitch, zero follow-through.
If you value your time, money, and fitness goals, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

Was a member here for a while. Left only because I moved cities. Every time I come back, I buy a weekly pass.
One day the employee processed it in correctly. Next day I come back, they say I need to pay another $35 on top of the $20 already paid.
Not how you treat repeat customers for your staffs incompetencies.
Manager avoided speaking to me as well and just send a staff member to avoid letting me pay another $15. Greedy.
