I've been going to EOS MEYERLAND for about over a year now. It's a wonderful gym. It can be crowded when u come during rush hour but otherwise, it's not crowded. This the only location in HTX that offers the BOOT CAMP CLASS.. it's 6AM & 6PM daily thru the week..Coaches Rene & Cory are phenomenal coaches... they always come up with new routines for us to do... it's only an extra $50 per month added to ur membership... and u can attend all the classes. If ur in the Galleria and Meyerland area..I highly recommend this place.

I called this morning Monday around 10AM,they guy who answered my phone call told me he can't answer my phone call because I'm not a member. What in the whole world? Like what If I'm calling because I wanna try the 7 days and see If I like it? Or what If I wanna become a member? Really? The boss of this gym should talk to his employees, that's not the way to answer to someone who wants more information and may be wants to join this gym, I'm going to call to other gyms not this one whit their rude employees.

This company never processed our membership cancellation in 2022, they kept charging us membership fees for 3 years, over $2,700.00 and when my credit card expired they turned us over to a Collection agency, I talked to the manager and he just told us that it was our responsibility and would not let me know his boss was. This company is in my opinion is borderline criminal!

Unprofessional Conduct and Lack of Compassion at EOS Fitness Meyerland Location (Houston, TX)
I filed a complaint with the BBB and also corporate. Below is the body of that complaint.
"I am submitting this complaint to formally report the unprofessional and dismissive behavior I experienced from Monica, a manager in the billing department at EOS Fitness, and the company’s complete lack of compassion toward furloughed federal workers.
I contacted EOS Fitness to request a reasonable exception for my final personal training payment with my trainer, Demetrius, at the Meyerland, Houston location. I was temporarily furloughed as a federal employee, and I provided official documentation verifying my status. Despite this, EOS Fitness refused to make any exception — even though I had not yet been billed for the payment in question.
During my call with Monica, I also informed her that Demetrius had added a note to my account regarding billing corrections and to remove inaccurate information. Instead of investigating the issue, Monica flat-out refused to contact the location to verify the information. When I asked her how billing issues were supposed to be fixed if the billing department refuses to communicate with the location — especially when a customer is clearly trying to resolve a problem — she provided no meaningful answer. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful, making it clear she had no intention of assisting me.
This experience was both frustrating and disheartening. As a loyal member who reached out in good faith and provided proof of a temporary hardship beyond my control, I was met with complete indifference. Many businesses have shown understanding and flexibility toward furloughed federal workers — unfortunately, EOS Fitness has shown the opposite.
I am requesting that this matter be formally reviewed and that EOS Fitness be held accountable for its lack of professionalism, compassion, and unwillingness to communicate effectively to resolve customer concerns. No customer should be treated this way, especially when dealing with verified financial hardship."
In other words, be cautious in dealing with this gym.

It is impossible to cancel personal training once you give them a credit card. I have not had personal training for 3 months, but they are still billing me. I have complained in person at the club, entered a cancelation online, reported the problem to my credit card company, and spoke to a class action attorney, all to no effect.

Overall, this is a really good gym! It has a nice setup and clean equipment. Depending on the time of day, it can be pretty quiet and relaxing, but other times it gets super packed and parking can be a bit crazy. Still, it’s a great place to get a good workout in and the staff is friendly.

With all due respect, I find this EOS location a joke.
If you have the mid membership, this is basically the only location on the ON THE SOUTHWEST of Houston .
Not to mention parking is a headache why would they share parking with Chick-fil-A lol ?

Even though it’s a commercial gym, the people that work here make it feel like a family gym. Adam, JJ, Jason, & Stephanie all take the time to get to know everyone who walks through those doors. We just want to Yoana’s class less loud, we have talk to her, talk to the manager team, her attitude is I rule the class. Very loud music ruin the hearing permanently and will damage your brain performance, we are taking the class for better health not the headaches after the classes. She might be with the company for long enough, having so many hours, we will enjoy the class better with reasonable sound volume! Tuesdays’s new body pump class got more popular because it’s much better with sound !

The air conditioning doesn’t work properly and it is always hot and they fit add ceiling fans which would help tremendously specially in the treadmill area. Lots of machines are always broken. I came in to ask if they had a 1 month pass. They said they don’t but they do have a 2 months pass for 90 bucks and when it hits 2 months will be cancel automatically. After 2 months i still get charged. I called them to ask for it to be canceled and the guy said yes. A month later which is today i am getting charged again and they said it is a 30 days notice but why i am getting the membership cancellation fees when i was buying a pass. And when I called last month that should be the 30 days notice already. They still take my payment for this month.

Wanted to do the trial membership. From the time you walk in, it’s all about selling and add-on services. After 30 mins of “tour” and “selling” all you can access is cardio and weights. None of the amenities are included. Defeats the purpose of trial and selling if you can’t allow us to experience it.
Overcrowded. Parking is an issue and you end up waiting on machines and threads. Not to mention you can see members not cleaning after use.

🚨Poor management, dirty facilities, and broken promises🚨
I’ve been a member at EOS Fitness for a while, and honestly, the experience has gone downhill. The first 4 months were smooth — bringing a guest was easy, just give your phone number at the front desk. But after they collected the annual fee, everything changed. Suddenly the guest policy turned into a sales tactic. Every time I brought a guest, staff pulled them aside, pressuring them to sign up.
The gym itself is not maintained the way it should be. Trash on the floors, broken equipment left sitting, dirty towels scattered everywhere, and massage chairs that stay broken for weeks. Even the recovery/tank room had a broken table sitting out while staff just walked past. After 5pm until closing, it’s obvious cleaning is neglected — staff act like they don’t care. The showers are stained, the pool area is dirty, and at the William Trace/Hwy 6 location, the pool and jacuzzi were closed for 2 weeks with no clear updates.
Accessibility is another major issue. Handicap parking spots are constantly taken by cars without placards or handicap plates, and the gym doesn’t enforce it at all. It shows how little management is paying attention.
EOS has the space and equipment to be a great gym, but the reality is disappointing. Between bait-and-switch policies, poor cleanliness, broken equipment, lack of enforcement, and weak management, this place feels more focused on squeezing money from members than actually providing a quality fitness environment.

I had surgery and requested for my account to be frozen. I informed the person who originally signed me up, but he kept giving me excuses and dragging the process out. They even required me to provide a doctor’s note in order to freeze my account, which I submitted, yet they still failed to take action.
When I attempted to cancel, they refused to let me. I’ve never dealt with such an absurd and frustrating situation at a gym. They will never see another dollar from me, nor will I ever use their services again. EOS Fitness is nothing more than a scam.
The staff here are super two faced and they will mislead you to make sure they make that sale . Javon is who initially signed me up and he just lied the entire time regarding my sign up now I’m getting extra charges for no reason

This gym is just completely dirty. It’s overcrowded all the time and I feel the staff has a hard time keeping up with the cleaning. The lockers are crowded… oh and if your LGBTQAI community as a women with short hair you will definitely be judged. This last time I went I walked into the locker room and there was a women sitting on the counter with her feet in the bathroom sink scrubbing them!! The paper towel dispenser is empty the majority of the time. And the recovery tank always smells bad….. sorry but I won’t be coming back to this location!

This is the old 24hr fitness and they used all the extra space perfectly. By far one of the biggest ones I’ve been too and it’s better than the location on Allen Pkwy.They offer more room, more areas to workout in, a pool, sauna and steamer and you don’t have to pay more for this location.

While my husband and I were cancelling our membership due to a move we found out that between their staff moving us from Texans Fit memberships to Eos memberships and then me wanting to downgrade my membership we had been paying for multiple accounts for quite a while. They agreed to process a refund for the unused accounts. All of this was discovered in April of 2025. We are still waiting on them to make this right and it is almost September. We last received communication in July and will continue to follow up however it's been an incredibly frustrating experience.
It's well placed in Meyerland and EOS made some improvements but making the membership cheaper brought in a lot of people and by the time I left there were just too many people going to make it worth it. Even in the middle of the day during the week it was full, forget going after work. They could really use a second story expansion and ideally a parking garage to accommodate the influx of people.

I have been a loyal member of this gym for over four years, and while I understand that ownership has recently changed, I feel compelled to share my concerns about a recent experience that has made me reconsider continuing my membership.
I greatly value the classes at 6:00 p.m. taught by Nia, which have been the primary reason I remain committed to this location despite challenges such as parking and, at times, a lack of member-focused service. I typically do not raise complaints; however, what occurred during class on 8/20/25 left me feeling both disrespected and disappointed.
On today, the manager, Justin, entered our class to discuss member concerns. Unfortunately, the timing felt rushed since class was about to begin. During the brief conversation, he told us to “take it down a notch.” I want to be clear: at no point was I raising my voice or being disrespectful. As a professional who works in corporate America, I know how to express concerns in a calm and constructive manner. His remark was unnecessary and dismissive.
He also commented that he “inherited Meyerland” and emphasized that it was an old location. Members are already aware of this fact, but it is not our fault. We understand that improvements take time and were simply bringing forward our concerns so they could be addressed. Unfortunately, his tone gave the impression that we were the problem rather than valued members.
Additionally, when I asked if he would return, he stated that he would not because he oversees six—soon to be seven—locations. This left me with the impression that our concerns would not receive meaningful follow-up, which is discouraging for long-time members like myself who have invested years into this gym community.
I also did not need to be lectured on how warranties work. As a paying customer, I already understand the process. What I was looking for was acknowledgment and solutions—not a dismissive explanation.
If member meetings are not something you wish to prioritize, I encourage you to consider implementing a system similar to what Texans Fit used: suggestion boxes. This would allow members to share concerns in writing while giving management the ability to review and address them at their convenience.
I am not sure if this interaction reflects EoS Fitness’ approach to customer care, but as a long-time member, I want to stress that members deserve to be treated with professionalism and respect. I hope this feedback will be taken seriously and that steps will be made to ensure all members feel welcomed and valued at this location.

I would of give a 4-5 star rating but very disappointed the swimming pool isn’t sanitized, the hot tub is in maintenance for more than a few days, and not just the lights in the swimming pool is burnt out sadly not replace or repair: the water fountain next to the towels, the water filter level is at red: needs to be replaced. Other locations don’t have that problem. Get those area fix, or else that asking to cancel membership.

I always get the impression that the gym can’t handle the number of users anymore; at any time of day, it’s crowded, and finding a parking spot is almost impossible. Honestly, I haven’t left yet because I like the class schedule they offer and the staff are friendly, but if your focus is just weightlifting, I wouldn’t recommend it.

i am sure the gym is great but the customer service,and sign up is severely lacking in this gym branch. I was hesitat to even try this gym and now I can see why everyones given bad reviews on the "bait and switch" tactic for all locations.

We just moved to the area from Spring. Signed up for the 7 day trial, but when my husband got there they wouldn’t let him use the pass because his address on his ID doesn’t say Houston (it’s a Houston suburb). When he explained we just moved and are looking for a local gym, the salesperson offered a $20 day pass then said “or you could buy a membership.” My husband was a personal trainer for years and I’ve worked at boutique fitness studios for years. Neither of us have ever heard such a thing. We will absolutely NOT be selecting this gym as our new gym, and I’d recommend others moving to the area to look elsewhere as well. PS: none of this was explained when my husband spoke on the phone with the sales team the day before driving 15 min there.

A Frustrating and Unacceptable First Impression – Misleading Policies and Dismissive Staff
I came to EOS Fitness this morning at 8:00 AM, genuinely enthusiastic about trying the gym for the first time with a 7-day guest pass—something clearly advertised on their website as available “daily between 8AM – 8PM.” However, that excitement quickly dissolved when I was told by the front desk employee that I’d need to wait until 8:30 AM for a “team member” to arrive and activate the pass. That’s not just inconvenient—it’s deceptive. If the pass isn’t available at 8:00, then don’t advertise it that way. It’s false advertising, plain and simple.
Trying to remain cooperative, I checked in with my friend who is a VIP member and has the ability to bring guests. Per the EOS website: “Guests must be accompanied by their associated Member when checking into the gym.” That condition was met. I was physically with my friend at check-in, and the front desk employee even had me sign the waiver on the spot. At no point does the policy say the member must remain with the guest the entire duration of the visit—only that they must check in together. I followed your policy to the letter.
Despite this, shortly after my friend left, the same employee—who I did not catch by name but who was a short, bald Black man at the front desk—approached me again and abruptly instructed me to leave, claiming I had to be “with my friend at all times.” I attempted to clarify the written policy and reminded him that he himself had me sign the waiver. His response? A condescending “Have a nice day,” followed by pointing to the exit.
The tone, the misinformation, and the blatant disregard for clarity or customer service was infuriating. My motivation to join the gym was instantly crushed. I came in ready to sign up, ready to commit—but instead I was treated like an inconvenience and essentially forced out, despite following your own published rules.
This isn’t just poor customer service—it’s a failure of internal communication and employee training. If this is how new guests are treated, I have no interest in being part of this gym. I’ll be taking my time, energy, and money elsewhere.

A clean, organized gym. The equipment isn’t old, and you can tell it’s kept under constant maintenance. The staff has always been friendly — it’s one of the few places where the good habit of saying “good morning” and “have a nice day” hasn’t been lost. The people who come to work out are also very respectful of your personal space. The bathrooms are always clean. The best times to avoid crowds are from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. on weekdays and in the afternoons on Saturdays and Sundays.

El staff siempre ha sido amable, ha sido de los pocos lugares donde no se ha perdido la sana costumbre de decir “buenas días” “que tenga un buen día”. Y Steven le responde que si acto seguido el compañero también me voltea a ver riéndose y me dice "sorry" acto seguido Steven me empieza a decir que el ya ha estado en ese gimnasio y que era una lastima, que las máquinas muchas veces no servían y otras cosas que al parecer creyó yo era encargado del buzón de quejas del fitness connection claramente no me interesa su opinión sobre el gimnasio que yo elegí para entrenar ni tampoco necesito que se burle de las elecciones previas que tome si estoy yendo a su gimnasio es por qué estoy buscando cambiar y quiero ir a uno que me parezca mejor que en el que estoy no para recibir burlas de dónde decido entrenar

I came in on Endicott on May 16th spoke with Ceasar and another employee with an Afro . Sorry . My account was charged twice 100 and then another $35 . Came in the fix that an upgrade account . Supposedly whoever i spoke to didn’t do it right and now i still have two active accounts one i was just charged $35 today that should’ve been upgraded to a Lux pro account and i guess she didn’t know what she was doing because now i have two active accounts under my name on verge AGAIN to be charged over $120 again twice as if i started an additional membership instead of upgrading my account she opened a new account and added a 1 to the number . And got an attitude with me because i didn’t want to put my checking account on file but why would I if yall can’t get the billing fixed . When i never once did anything in my own this is a mistake the club made AGAIN . As some i who switched over from another gym how hard can it be to make sure im not being charged 100s of dollars for a membership on a monthly basis

“Shameful Treatment of a Disabled Veteran”
I’m a 100% disabled U.S. Air Force veteran currently undergoing chemotherapy. While in the area, I urgently needed to use the restroom due to chemo-related side effects. I entered EOS Fitness and calmly asked to use the facility, explaining my situation. I even showed the staff member, JJ, my chemo port to underscore the urgency and medical necessity.
Instead of offering any help, I was immediately told “No, you’re not a member.” I asked for a reasonable accommodation as allowed under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—even suggesting being escorted or using a staff restroom. The manager, Adam, refused. Not only did he deny me access, but he raised his voice, came out from behind the desk, and began trying to forcibly remove me from the building. When I asked for his name to file a complaint, he refused to provide it.
I was forced to back away and leave—humiliated, medically vulnerable, and in distress. Their behavior was not only callous and unprofessional, but likely in violation of federal ADA law. No person—let alone a disabled veteran in a medical emergency—should be treated this way.
If you’re disabled, or simply believe in human decency, think twice before supporting a business that treats people like this
