EFW is a small privately owned training studio focused on helping men and women age actively so they can do all the things in life they need, want, and love to do. More golfing ✔️, more gardening ✔️, active trips with friends or family ✔️. If you’re looking to stay strong, improve balance, flexibility, mobility, and reduce the chance of cognitive decline, exercise is a must. At EFW, we are passionate about helping active aging adults find optimal longevity.
Currently EFW offers Small Group Personal Training In Person and Online, Tai Chi, Breath work, Self-Myofascial Release, Zibrio Postural Stability Assessments; Styku-3-D Body Composition Assessments, and Wellness Products.

EFW has definitely saved me from fading away. These coaches, Jackie, Jason, Vicki, Jeff, and Susan. They care. They motivate people to work out. When I first showed up, I couldn’t walk anywhere without a cane. Now, the cane is not used at all.
If you want to keep up with the world and age a bit more gracefully, this is the place for you. Don’t be fooled, you can really sweat here if you so choose, or just work to improve balance and mobility.
Highly recommended! Great place run by great people!

As you age, Evolution Fitness & Wellness (EFW) is the most amazing fitness program you can imagine. Over my lifetime, I have been to multiple gyms, exercise classes and personal trainers and none can begin to compare to EFW. The coaches at EFW are functional aging specialists that ensure that you age and train in such a way that you do not injure yourself and are able to live your best life doing the things you love. In addition, the community of clients at EFW is very supportive and caring of one another so make it easy to fit right in. EFW is a multi-faceted facility offering, for example: personal training, very small group classes, Tai Chi, nutrition support, treadmill, recumbent and spin bikes, infrared sauna, and more. I have chosen the package that gives me access to everything EFW offers, as I have committed to cutting costs where I have to in order to invest in ME. I want to be able to travel, play with my grandchildren, etc. without pain, and I know the only way to do that is to invest in it.
My Story:
I started with EFW September 2021. The last couple of years had been tough. I was a Finance Manager in a very large international company and I suddenly found myself on disability from severe daily migraines February 2020. I then had C5-C7 vertebrae fusion surgery (ACDF) in August 2020 and had to recover from that in the midst of the pandemic. I was seeing a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specialized in neck issues and asked her if there was anyone she would recommend for someone my age with my goals and she recommended EFW. When I started at EFW in Sept 2021, I was in pretty bad shape and Coach Jackie was simply amazing. She listened, she heard me, she adapted. No 2 workouts are ever the same, because she is constantly pushing me but not overdoing it. She also has been helping with other tools to help manage my migraines such as breath work and the way she tailors the program in general. I also started Tai Chi at EFW and it helped immensely with my balance which I have always struggled with. I went on a Christmas cruise 3 months after starting and had my first big ahha moment - I asked my husband to help me up from the very low lounge chair, but found I could get up with no help at all!! Boy, that was proof the program was working. For the next 6 months, I continued to dedicate myself to my health, even with a broken toe on 3 different occasions and she was with me every step of the way. When Coach Jackie learned I was going on a hiking trip with my family in the Rocky Mountains in July 2022, she trained with me specifically for that trip, including teaching me how to use hiking poles correctly, and I hiked around a lake and up a rock for a photo!! So amazing! Such progress!
Unfortunately, on that trip I caught COVID. I then had related bi lateral pulmonary embolisms (blood clots both lobes of both lungs). The prognosis was grim….but I clawed by way back from being on oxygen 24/7 with home health support. I was finally released to start working out again January 2023. I am back at it again in the worst shape I have ever been in, and I am happy to say Coach Jackie is with me every step of the way. I am so thankful each and every day for EFW. In my darkest moments last year, having the goal to get back to EFW is what kept me going.

I’ve have been coming to EFW for three years and it’s the best decision I ever made. After a few surgeries and some years of inactivity my strength & health had suffered. Knowing that I needed to make some changes in my lifestyle I saw the adds on FB and gave Jackie a call. Not only has my strength, mobility & balance improved over the three years but I have formed relationships with like minded people & now have a community that I enjoy spending time with outside the gym as well.

I have been coming to EFW for about 18 months. I love it! It is the best part of my week. I always feel better physically and mentally after each session.
I was looking for someone who was willing to work with me and my physical limitations. I wanted to become stronger, improve my balance, and find a way to get healthier. I found an amazing coach who is passionate and so attuned to what is possible for me. I didn’t know my wheelhouse was so extensive!
From the awesome coaches to the wonderful clients everyone in the EFW community is kind, supportive, and lots of fun!

I've been attending classes at EFW for approximately 6 years. I go 3 times a week and it is always a good workout. We have a very fun class and we laugh every session. I cannot imagine what state I would be in had I not been attending these classes. It is great for balance, strength and mobility.

I have been going to Evolution now for three months and I am so happy i am. Jackie knows just how to work with my limitations to help me improve my balance and regain my strength. I also did the 28 day transformation challenge. I is a great plan and the hardest part is the planning. the menus and recipes are easy to follow and the food is great. I will continue to incorporate them into my meal plans going forward. With Jackie's and Jason's help I am hopeful for the first time in a long time that I will improve my health and fitness. And as an added bonus I have met some really nice people. Thank You Jackie/Jason Evolution Fitness and Wellness.

I want to share my experience with Evolution ,Fitness & Wellness (EFW) since March 2019. I’m a Latin woman of 65 yrs old,retired since 2017 and a grandma of two little kids. One day I was playing with my 5yrs grandson,kicking the soccer ball. I got tired, my balance was not good and fell down. I thought that I have to do something, I wanted to be an active, strong grandma. Then, one day I saw in Facebook a posting that this place EFW helps aging adults stay strong. I doubted to go because I thought it was a common Gym and since I have a back condition , I thought it was not for me. But I decided to get an appointment with Jackie Bachmeier. That was a great decision. EFT is a special Gym that focuses on fitness for 50+ population. It is not a GYM with a lot of machines...no,no...only has 4 or 5 ...it is a GYM that specializes in functional fitness training, personal training in small groups, Tai Chi, other services... The fitness trainer is aware of my back condition and modify some exercises for me. Those exercises have helped to improve my balance, strength,flexibility and endurance.
Recently Jackie offered a challenge..28 Day Total Body Transformation. Again, I thought that’s not for me (negative thought)....but I was encouraged by Jackie to try it because it will help in my nutrition... OMG that was the best thing that has occurred to me.. why? It transformed me. My nutrition was veeeery poor (sugar lover, no veggies, not like drinking water, love processed food). Now I’m so happy.. with this challenge I met the veggies:)...discarded the caffeine pills and even I started to visit my kitchen 😉.... I’m cooking... that is a great added value.
I strongly recommend EFW to the population of 50+...it is a magic place that with Jackie and Jason will help you to rethink your priorities, see the benefits of regular exercises. I’m sharing with beautiful people and having a lot of fun... thanks so much Jackie ... and Jason too :)

Joined EFW just in time to participate in their 28-day Challenge. It was a great way to get started back into taking care of me! The easy to follow plan and great tasting recipes made it easy and enjoyable to follow. I committed to trying all the recipes on the plan, so I have found many new vegetables (fennel! arugula!) that I really do like and will continue to use as I keep working on me. The workouts are also great! Easy to follow instructions, exercises that challenge my muscles and stamina and, best part, instructors that are watching to ensure you not only do the moves correctly, but also to help modify where you need it. Jackie and Jason are both very encouraging!!
