I just finished my 10th session at F45 Oak Hill and am loving everything about this gym's classes! Kati O. and Rob are attentive to everyone's form, making sure we are comfortable with the weights; plus, they're super encouraging. I know I'm in good hands. The best gym! The instructors here are so kind and the workout is phenomenal. I have always been in good shape from running, barre, etc but I was craving something different. The coaches push you in the best way, and the owner Mark is great, always checking in with clients, etc. It is such a nice community - everyone cheers each other on. I have been working out with weights for years but even after just 6 months of F45 I have noticed fantastic definition in my arms. I love this gym and I am so excited to keep coming back for more!!!

My husband and I are avid gym goers and decided to give F45 a try, to mix up our routine. After going to 1 class I loved it and decided to buy a 30 pass. My husband subsequently bought a 10 pass. Unfortunately we both got covid and were out sick for about 6 weeks, unable to workout. As my 30 pass neared expiration, I knew I wouldn’t have time to finish using them all and so I called and personally spoke to the owner Mark, to see if he could make an exception to allow me a few additional weeks to use up the remainder of my pass. He was extremely rude and condescending, not understanding at all that being sick for 6 weeks was the reason for my lack of attendance. He proceeded to tell me that he would only allow me to use the remainder of my pass if I purchased an additional 10 pass. So I had to spend MORE money, to get my moneys worth out of what I had already paid?? So ridiculous and unprofessional. I know each F45 location is a franchise and owners may vary but the unprofessional way he handled this matter made me never want to go to an F45 again.

I only had a few months of experience with F45 when I moved to the West Oak Hill area. I had gone through a very intense + complicated C-section and hospital stay with my baby girl, and early on in this fitness journey of mine I had to focus on very simple movements or activities I once took for granted that my body could do. Walking, planking, push-ups, the simple transition from push-ups to ab work, high knees — you name it, and I could tell you how hard it was.

By the time I joined West Oak Hill (Sept/Oct) I had at least worked myself back to a functioning state. While I’ve been a member here, I have grown stronger (so much stronger), happier, more consistent, more confident, more excited, and more knowledgeable. I am grateful for the coaching, correction, and encouragement from David and Rob (whose classes I am in most often). I’ve never felt anything but welcome and supported from the very first class I walked into.

If you are nervous about diving into a class like this, I understand! I was nervous once, too. (I mean, y’all, I really couldn’t walk for months.) The way I explain it to my friends: everyone in the class is too busy during the workout to pay any attention to what you’re doing or not doing, so just show up. There are amazing people here at West Oak Hill to help you navigate it at your own pace, and before you know it, you will be surprising yourself. Just show up :)

Initially I had a bumpy experience with this business. However, Mark (the owner) reached out to me to apologize. He did not comment on my first review, online. Instead he called me to apologize for some miscommunication. I am a firm believer that being ethical is not what we do when someone is watching, but what is done when no one is. Mark is a great example to this. As a business owner not only do I applaud him and the staff I look forward to doing business with them.

To all of those who sees the 5 star ratings and wonders how this could be. Simply put Mark and his staff will go above and beyond to make your experience worth every dime spent.

Trainers at West Oak Hill are friendly and informative. They understand proper form is critical to maximizing results AND avoiding injury. The gym is always kept as clean as possible between and during workouts. F45 workouts are always changing and provide a full body workout that includes, strength, cardio, balance and agility. It’s also self challenging as in you compete against yourself to improve. Trainers motivate but aren’t drill instructors.

Became part of the F45 West Oak Hill family back in August 2018. I was never a big fan of the franchise type, strip mall workout but I decided to give it a try after trying a few other local workouts where I was just not connecting. What I found here was that they really understood that each person is at a different point in their fitness journey and they are able to cater/modify to that person needs. Especially when you’re new. There is absolutely zero intimidation, no ones staring at you (there are no mirrors), everyone supportive and you become accountable by just showing up. Mark, Monica and the entire staff of trainers are just super awesome people. I believe they are genuine and encourage members to speak up if the have ways to improve their business.
I’ve not only changed my level of fitness over time but I’ve made some lifelong friends. If you’re looking to make a change, I highly recommend you take a chance and give F45 a try. You have absolutely nothing to loose and everything to gain!

I initially started the 6 week challenge because I am getting married in October! I need to lose 40-60 pounds! F45 has seriously been the most fun working out I have had in a long time! The workouts are super tough but FUN and no workout is ever the same. As long as you stay the course you can go so very far! I’m down about ~20 lbs and couldn’t be happier! The coaches are all amazing and will push you to do the best you can do! The owner Mark is seriously the absolute best. He TRULY cares! He makes sure not only you are following your nutrition guide intake but he is there every day of the week holding me accountable! I cannot say enough amazing things about F45 West Oak Hill! If you haven’t worked out in a while, start ASAP here and keep going and you will feel and look better after every class! Remember they are ONLY 45 minutes long. YOU CAN DO IT! Always challenging but no two workouts are rarely the same. The staff is friendly, helpful and challenging. Team training is a great benefit as you feel a little a little peer pressure but the reality is the others exhibit no judgement and offer plenty of encouragement. As far as benefits, at 55 years old, I could not be happier. Getting healthy is more than just working out. I learned what to eat, how much to eat and when to eat. It's a lifestyle change. In two months I went from not being able to finish the workout, about 25 pounds overweight and unable to fit in my 34 inch waist pants, and for years had to take meds for blood pressure, to getting in the best shape of my life. That's not hyperbole. I was able to not only finish the workout but also play some b-ball and swim after the workout. I lost about 20 lbs but I gained strength and muscle. I had to shop for new pants because my waist dropped to 32, the same as my college days. The best part is my BP dropped so much, my doctor took me off the meds. My current self can kick the @$$ of my 25 year old self. I highly recommend.

Great gym! Love the workouts and the intensity! It's not your typical gym, it has more of a personal trainer vibe. If the class is full there will be 2 trainers making sure you have a good form. During the Covid19 they made live workouts, made a challenge that provided a list of what you can and can't eat. It also had a trainer checking my daily food log to keep me accountable, and weekly check-ins. I received a PDF full of recipes, they even let me borrow slam balls.

Yes, it was hard work, but the classes were varied enough to keep it interesting, the other gym-goers were super friendly and supportive, and the coaches were phenomenal from day one until the very end. I liked that I was pushed to my limits but wasn’t made to feel weird when I had to modify an exercise to accommodate my needs. The coaches’ emails and text check-ins were timed just right to keep me on target and it was obvious they wanted me to succeed as much as I did. The individualized advice based on my food logs and body scan results helped me change the way I think about nutrient and calorie intake to have more energy and lose weight at the same time. F45 is not your typical gym experience and that’s what makes it so great.

Just completed the 6 weeks challenge. Is it worth it? I can honestly say yes. I lost a total of 20.6lbs and 7.8% body fat. What helped get me to that goal? The staff, the meal plan, and the inviting environment around me every time I went to work out. Everyone there is so friendly. There is no pressure as far as working out is concerned. You work at your own pace and can monitor your progress throughout the workout by simply looking at the monitors on the wall. Unfortunately a personal event occurred my 2nd week of the challenge and I was unable to complete any workouts that week. My meal planning for that week was also out the door. The staff reached out to me offering there condolences and got me back on track the following week and that right there was one of the biggest reasons I ended up becoming a member of F45 West Oak Hill. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for a real change in there physical lifestyle. Whether your needing to lose a few pounds or just want to have an overall healthy lifestyle give Mark a call at F45 West Oak Hill. You will not be disappointed. Go in talk to him and check out a class. They are very fun and not one class is ever the same which I personally like because it doesn’t ever feel repetitious. F45 is an efficient and effective workout! The interval training gives you a full body workout and is different everyday. I’ve tried Crossfit and other gym memberships before and nothing seemed to stick. It’s been hard to get back on track after opening a business and having our son, but F45 has made it easy for me with their program, their awesome coaches, and supportive group environment.
