I started about two months ago with a goal to be in great condition for a ski trip for my 60th birthday. This gives me about a year and two months to reach my goal. Well, I’m pretty sure I’m going to be in great shape this season (way ahead of schedule) thanks to Josh. Go there, put the work in, and you will definitely see results.

I’m really glad I found Josh. He is an expert and very knowledgeable in regards to diet and fitness. And he has a really fun personality - I feel like I’m missing out on the fun when I’m not there but he is also very tough. He had helped me a lot. I have recently joined fender Fitness, and have been wowed by the brief experience that I’ve had. Josh is a wonderful trainer. The atmosphere is uplifting and empowering, everyone who’s in there has a great attitude and they are from all stages in life. So impressed to see so many different people working towards their own personal goals , I cannot wait to see what the months bring but I couldn’t help to write a review. I am recently postpartum and it is exactly what I was looking for. Would definitely recommend!

Coach Rob Morris at Fender's Fitness has changed my life. I've been coming to work out twice a week for almost 10 months. Since then, I have lost 60 lbs and am able to comfortably fit in a size Large (down from a XXL) and gained plenty of muscle that I have never had before.
For the longest time, I thought I would never lose weight. Between having health issues, and a busy schedule, it seemed impossible. Having the right coach, though, makes it a much easier battle to fight.
Coach Rob is easygoing, extremely knowledgable, and plenty patient. He is able to adapt when you have injuries, and push you hard when he knows you can handle something (even when you dont entirely believe it yourself.)
I came in to training for the first time with a big goal and high hopes, and never once have I been made to feel like my goal is unattainable. Coach Rob has given me the tools, and the confidence, to show me I can do anything.
I would highly recommend Fender's Fitness (and Robert Morris) to anyone on a health or fitness journey.

I really appreciated my time at Fender Fitness and the time Josh spent to help me meet my goals. I live out of state and was visiting the keller area for two months. Durning my down time in Texas I wanted to slim down get more chiseled. I told Josh my goals and the areas I wanted to lift better in and we went after it. Josh was always prepared with well thought out lesson plans. He pushed me everyday there, but not before a good warm up and after workout stretches. Some that tailored my line of work. It was honestly the first personal training experience I’ve had where I felt I pushed it but it didn’t make me so sore I couldn’t function normally throughout the rest of the day. Josh put me on a diet plan, pointed me in the direction of good caloric tracking apps and a protein intake goal. I went from 205 down to 183. I lost almost 3 inches off my waist , all within two months. Josh’s gym has a great atmosphere, clients and most of all good music. Once you’ve had a personal trainer like Josh. You’ll never work out the same at membership gyms.

For the first time in my life the weight is coming off quickly and I am actually feeling healthier. Fender's is GREAT! Rob is the BEST! I've been training with Rob for about 5 yrs. He keeps me motivated and really makes sure I get a great workout, every session. There are not enough words to describe the transformation not only to my body, but to my life and my mental well being. I initially went to see Josh because quite frankly I had given up.
My whole life I was small (113 -118 pounds) Then came menopause and my body changed. No matter how much I worked out, what I ate the weight kept coming and my body wasn't my own any more. I had reached 142 pounds. A visit to the doctor resulted in perfect blood work and the solution was: "it's just menopause, your body has changed. You will learn to deal with it."
One call to Josh and he said, "If you do what I say, you will lose the weight" I told him I wanted to lose 20 pounds and Josh repeated, "IF YOU DO what I say, you WILL lose the weight" Josh is keeping his word and more. I am only on week 11 and I have already lost 14 and a half pounds. 🙌
Josh provides guidance through the workouts, how to do them properly, and corrections when I am not doing it properly. Joshua is constantly encouraging me to push myself. Not just me but everyone he is training/helping.
He provided me with the direction of what to eat and how much. Which I thought this would be some starving, eat rabbit food type of journey but it was not. I have never eaten so much food in my life! My body is getting stronger and more tone every day. Something that I truly believed would never happen again.
What really impresses me about Fender's Fitness is that there are people of all age groups, some needing rehabilitation from surgeries, some like me who just wanted to lose weight and some who wanted to improve on their training. Josh is able to accommodate all of us, while helping us get to where we want and need to be.
There is no downside to going to Fender's Fitness and seeing Josh. If you do what he says, you will get the results you are looking.

I started training here because I was experiencing a lot of pain while walking due to an old soft tissue injury that never healed correctly. After many doctor visits, physical therapy, and a cortisone shot, my pain just kept getting worse. I had already given up activities I enjoy like hiking and running, but even regular daily walking was becoming unbearable. After discussing next steps with my doctor, I decided to find a personal trainer who had experience with post-injury rehabilitation and strengthening and found Fender's Fitness!
It has been an absolute lifesaver. I've been training with Josh for 10 weeks now and the improvement I've felt in these weeks is more than I've experienced in the last 4 years of dealing with pain. I've lost 16lbs (and counting!), built muscle, and I am now able to walk my dogs every day without pain. I have more energy and already feel like I am getting strong enough to return to all the activities I love.

I’m a month into my training with Joshua and already having excellent results.
I’ve always tried to go the remote trainer route and it ended up causing more harm than good due to bad technique / form / programs etc
I’ve also had to deal with an FAI hip issue and tendon problems from rock climbing issues. Going the physical therapy route never solved any problems and I couldn’t get a whole body approach from 3 different services over a few years.
In just a month I’ve been able to dramatic improvement in the tendon pain in my arm and the hip exercises are doing great for general strength and mobility without bringing in more pain.
I really appreciate his low ego approach to listening to my feedback when I don’t want to over do it and risk an injury or am having pain and he can quickly adjust the routine.
The semi private session model works better than I expected and is a great price relative to expensive physical therapy co-pays.

I’ve been training with Josh for about 6 months now and I can’t recommend enough. When I started, Josh asked me my goals and I said I wanted to be stronger and healthier. Working with Josh at Fender’s Fitness has had a tremendously positive impact on my health and welll-being. I started with Josh because I didn't want to end up with the same results as before when it came to getting a gym membership. The typical 'go for a week, and eventually go back to old habits' routine. Not to mention I haven't lifted seriously since high school, and I didn't want to hurt myself. My expectations were met, and exceeded. When I started, I weighed 204 lbs. I went in with the goal to lose 20 lbs, and in 3 months I'm down 27 lbs. He provides a solid workout routine each visit, catered to your needs, as well as a diet plan to stick to. He pushes you to do what you think you might not be able to, while also making sure you are not over doing it. On top of that you will undoubtedly get your weekly 'dad joke' in. Overall, this is a gym and trainer I absolutely recommend if you are serious about getting results.

I cannot praise Fenders enough. In just three months I have lost almost 50 pounds. Josh knows his stuff! His workouts are great, he’s incredibly knowledgeable if you have any type of muscle pain, and knows what to do to make it better. I’m 56 years old and I had knee surgery about 9 months before I went to Fender’s. Both my legs were considerably smaller than before the surgery. I really just wanted to get my legs back to where they were before the surgery so I could go snow skiing this year. Thanks to Josh, my legs are stronger now than they have been in 20 years and so is every other muscle! I’m stronger and I feel better than I have in years.
Fender’s is clean, well lit and has a fun and friendly atmosphere. You don’t get some generic, cookie cutter workout with Josh. Workouts are tailored to your needs and goals, not his. And Josh keeps it fun. I haven’t always looked forwarded to working out. But the vast majority of the time, I do look forward to going to Fender’s.

Josh is FABULOUS!! I’ve lost 20lbs and have 5lbs to go. I’m seeing muscles and increased strength that I haven’t seen before. He’s helped me with not only weight loss but motivation, diet, nutrition, correct exercise form, overall knowledge and I’ve had fun!! He makes me laugh while at the same time challenging me to do better whether I want to or not. Thanks to Josh I was able to hike/climb to the top of Angels Landing at Zion National Park in Utah. In all seriousness, I’ve never been stronger or lost more weight than I have since I started working out here! Josh pushes me to lift more weight than I ever thought possible and I’m so happy and thankful for it!
He not only pushes you in the gym, but makes sure you’re on track with everything outside the gym. From making sure you’re working out on your non-gym days to making sure you’re eating the right foods!
He’s also super knowledgeable - my calves have been super tight for as long as I can remember and he’s helped me with my mobility to where they’re now way better!
So grateful to have started working out here and looking forward to seeing the progress the next 6 months will bring!

I started using Fender’s Fitness Training at the beginning of January, after making the decision to finally try to get in shape. I’ve been overweight since high school, and between work and life in general, hadn’t been taking care of myself. Josh has been amazing for the three months I’ve been training. The first day we met, he sent me information on why he makes his recommendations, and urged me to make specific goals for our training together to watch how things would improve. Since starting training, I’ve already lost 40 pounds, and I feel a lot better physically and mentally. I can see the weight disappearing and I’m more active than I’ve been in a long time. He makes a point of checking in at sessions to help keep me accountable on my food and cardio outside of training, which is the biggest reason I’ve failed in the past. The training itself is difficult but manageable and has scaled as my fitness has improved. The small group setting makes sure Josh is available to help you, without feeling like you’re being scrutinized every second. I’m so excited with the progress I’ve made so far, and I can’t wait to see where I am at in 3 more months.

I’ve been training with Josh Fender for 4 months now. The results have been life changing! I came to Josh at my highest personal weight with low energy, back pain, high blood pressure and at risk for Diabetes. In only 4 months under Josh’s direction I’m blessed to say that I have now lost 35 pounds! It wasn't that long ago that I was reading the glowing reviews posted here about Josh Fender and Fender's Fitness. I took the plunge and started a consistently working out a few months ago. There's not much I can add that many other satisfied clients haven't already broached but I'll say this, if you want to get in shape and have fun doing it, this is the place to be. I'm almost 3 full months in and at 48 years young I'm setting personal records in several categories, have lost 15 pounds of fat, and 5 inches off my waist. I have been training with Josh for almost 2 years. My husband has trained with Josh for several years and gifted me with training sessions for my 50th birthday. This gift has truly been one of the best things that I continue to do for myself, my overall health, and my mind. I have been training with Fender for a year now and I have to say, both my willpower and self-confidence have changed drastically.
Life circumstances and tragedies contributed to my weight gain and a series of health issues, even though I have been a fitness enthusiast for over 6 years, working out on my own everyday, making healthy choices and having an overall healthy lifestyle, so these things weren’t that hard for me to incorporate in my life when I first started.
With that being said, it still makes total difference to have a personal trainer that is going to curate a workout routine that fits my needs and respects my body limitations. In the past year, I’ve done workouts I never in my life imagined I could, due to my spine problems and past surgeries. Joshua helped me get there, building up my resistance and strength. I could not have accomplished this on my own. I rely on his knowledge and expertise to get better everyday… and it works! When I started training with Josh, I was in terrible condition. My aging, overweight body was suffering neglect from the sedentary & relaxed lifestyle I’d been leading the last several years.
Additionally, I’d recently incurred an injury that had me out of work and flat on my back for 6 wks, along with numerous doctor visits & prescription medications.
I knew if I didn’t change things fast, I could likely expect this in my near future.
Since 3 of my young adult sons’ were training with Josh and having incredible results, I decided to seek Josh’s help.
Initially, making such drastic lifestyle changes was hard, but Josh was undeterred by my whining and complaints. He believed in me far beyond what I believed in myself. I've had an incredible experience at Fender Fitness with the semi-private lessons. TBH, I was a little apprehensive to start training at 5 am, but it worked for me. Results speak for themselves: I've lost over 20 lbs in three months (would have lost more if I had been more strict with my diet), but more importantly i've lost 4-6 inches off my waist. I have a lot more stamina and strength - 10K in 57:25 and can do at least 16 pullups now. The best part is that my honest kids say that my big belly is no more.

I’ve trained with Fender fitness for 2 months now. I’ve had a few trainers in the past but Josh is head and shoulders above them. He can easily manage multiple clients at a time, giving them each the direction necessary but still being flexible with each clients goals and abilities. His workouts are intense!
