Always busy, parking lot is too small for the facility and it can be tough to find a parking spot. Also, they don't have very many machines, especially for the legs. It designed more for men, that's why there isn't much for the legs or glutes. They need to update the building and parking lot.

The Fieldhouse is a conveniently located and excellent gym to workout in. Their front office staff is friendly, professional, and do an excellent job ensuring that the gym floor is clean in addition to organizing the weights to where they belong. I’ve attended many large commercial gyms over the years (for example, one that shortens to GG) and none of them compare to the cleanliness and organization that is provided at the Fieldhouse.

Gym has very reasonable prices, open 24/7, very clean (all their staff take cleaning and organization seriously), and never too crowded. I'd recommend this gym to anyone in the area looking for a gym. Jess at the front desk is awesome, they all are but she's always asking me how I'm doing etc. makes my visit feel welcoming. The owner communicates anything happening with the gym via text, I miss my sauna at big guns but it's Texas, walking outside is the same 😜

Every staff member is awesome except for Jess. Everyone else is so nice and welcoming, but Jess acts like she hates her job and takes it out on members. Someone had asked Jess out loud today why she was in a “pissy mood”, and Jess looked a group of teenage boys who did nothing wrong, always wipe the equipment and re-rack their weights. Actions like that should be prohibited and staff members should stay professional at all times. If someone applies for a job they should enjoy what they do and provide members the best welcoming and services, not nasty looks. Jess also seems to want to vacuum and mop at the busiest times of the day and interfere with members workouts which can be a safety hazard. Hopefully things get better and staff members get addressed by their actions.

Left since they stopped the child care to allow for a tiny stretch room. Very disappointing after being a member for 4 years. Noticed they prolly took a huge loss on this move since I’ve seen multiple people at my new gym. Also the equipment is old, the ceiling is coming apart, and the bathrooms were always dirty.

Been a client for almost 10 years. Had issues with their policies. They didn't want to correct the issue, only just get rid of their loyal client for many years. This is why people go with big corporations instead of supporting smaller businesses unfortunately. Expect a young crowd who don't follow gym rules. They do not like children in their gym! They have no child care and in this "lobby" area they have, no one is allowed to sit there.

I’m extremely disappointed that Fieldhouse is closing childcare services. As a parent, the ability to bring my daughter with me has been the only reason I’m able to show up—not just for fitness, but for my mental health. It’s a huge part of my routine and my well-being, and I know many other parents in the community feel the same.

I understand the gym is growing and they need to make space, but it’s disappointing to see that the solution is to remove a service that so many families rely on—especially in a town like Justin, where there really aren’t other nearby options that offer childcare. The message feels like the needs of “prime time” members outweigh those of the parents who come in the mornings.

What’s especially confusing is that the childcare room isn’t very big to begin with, and it’s only open for three hours a day. It’s hard to imagine how removing it will significantly help with crowding. To lose such a vital service for something that may have minimal impact feels like a step in the wrong direction. I hope the gym truly considers how this affects many of its longtime members and finds a way to support parents again in the future.

I joined Fieldhouse Fitness in June 2024 with the intention of staying consistent. I used the gym a few times in the beginning and then formally requested to place my membership on hold in mid-July due to international travel from August 1 to September 8. I was told only a one-month hold was allowed. I respected that, but unfortunately, right after returning to the U.S., my father became the victim of a violent attack. Since then, I’ve been dealing with medical emergencies, legal matters, family responsibilities, and visa issues. These were not things I could control.

Despite not using the facility at all after mid-July (which their check-in logs or cameras can confirm), I was charged monthly — including partial amounts during the hold period and full fees from September to May. I honestly reached out recently to request either a refund or a membership extension for the unused time. The management responded quickly but stated they cannot do anything, as memberships are non-refundable.

I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews or asks for refunds unless it’s justified. I could’ve come up with any excuse, but I was completely honest about my situation. I’m also currently trying to recover other unused services and auto-pay losses from different vendors, which is overwhelming.

On a positive note, I appreciate how clean and well-maintained this gym is. I’ve seen the effort the staff puts in, and it’s one of the reasons I picked this place in the first place. I also understand that many people try to get refunds without real reason, which makes it hard for businesses. But my situation was serious, unexpected, and fully outside my control. I hoped the management might offer some understanding after all my honest attempts — not just for the money, but to help me get back on my feet and restart my fitness journey during a really hard chapter in life.

If they still decide not to, I respect it — business is business. But I’ll just accept that even our local hometown gym isn’t much different from the bigger franchises where money is the only bottom line. This won’t break me. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I leave this to Karma, and I still wish the gym success. Hopefully life gives me a positive turn soon — in fitness and everything else.

Small gym, but it gets the job done. It’s missing some common equipment like an incline bench press, hip adductor/abductor machine, and a prone hamstring curl. Most frustrating part is the lack of weights. I find myself spending more time looking for weights than doing my workouts.

I was searching for a new gym and was not impressed with the popular chain gyms in the area. I found FFC and immediately felt comfortable with the amount of available equipment and room to breathe. The staff are super helpful and signup is online with an app that you use for 24hr access, doesn’t get easier than that. I love it here !!!

Great local gym. The 2 girls (jess and kaylyn) are always nice and keep the place picked up and clean constantly. Way More than any gym I've seen in my 18 yrs in the Army amd ive been around. Hopefully the owners appreciate and take care of them around holidays bc good help is hard to find and even harder to keep. Only critique would be the music selection. Definitely not motivating choice station especially with all the apps available that have mixes for hiphop, pop, etc specifically for gyms.

It's a great gym. They have real iron plates and plenty of adjustable stations that can be used for bench/squat or anything in between.

Staff has always been nice and they aren't overly strict about the rules. The members are generally nice too.

I hope they don't get rid of any more of the older machines/equipment. The old leg press was perfect.

I understand we're in a small town and private businesses have the right to have a dress code policy, but if you're going to enact a policy that states bras must be full coverage... You've got to be consistent in what "full coverage" means. Both my gym partner and I dropped $180 on memberships today only to be told that AFTER the membership was paid for, that my friend's outfit was not able to be worn in the gym. I had to give her the shirt off my back, but was cleared to work out in the gym by the same employee on duty... While openly wearing a bra in the same style. There were more "revealing" bras being worn in the gym at the time, which is frustrating as my friend was embarassed by the experience as it was in front of an employee she knows personally.

In addition, while dropping $180 on memberships, the employee asked us if we had been here before - I had a previous membership and said yes, and my friend had been here previously as a child in daycare... So she said yes. That was several years ago, and thus the employee couldn't find her in the system. WHILE PAYING $180 TO GET A MEMBERSHIP, the employee lectured my partner on sneaking in in the past... As a minor in daycare... While she was actively paying for a membership. If it weren't for the no refund policy, I would have asked for one already and went to the other gym in the area. Please make sure that your employees are consistent and, oh, I don't know - not blaming people for stealing years ago while they are actively paying for a product just because you can't find them in the system?

They have just about everything you need or want and a few of those things have multiples. This is a bit more than a rec center. There is turf and one basic sled, if you’re interested in that. There are a mere 5 treadmills and 2 stairmasters (which are always taken), and I’d estimate 10-15 ellipticals and useless steppers.
There is a very limited selection for machines (they were all replaced early 2023), which are about the quality of a hotel gym. There are multiples of preacher curl and tricep Ext, but not abductor/adductor, kickback, lateral delt, pull over machines (to name a few that they are lacking) with limited choices of cable attachments. They have one cable crossover machine with just two pulleys. They have 4 squat racks (always taken), no dead lift plat forms. There are 3 variations of plate loaded leg press which are nice, 2 are new and 1 is an older power squat.

One positive is that EVERYONE wipes down the equipment after use.

Childcare is included in the cost. I never used it , so can’t speak to that.

The older front desk woman (who I assume is the owner), is extremely standoffish, unfriendly and, honestly, borderline rude. She is the reason I ultimately ended up going elsewhere. I always felt extremely unwelcome and judged. Anytime I’d leave and say “thanks”, her reply would vary from no response at all, to “yeppp” with an eye

It's a great gym my kids go daily like the equipment. Customer service to get membership service help is the worst though My son paid for a 3 month membership on May 20th and today July 16th his card to get in is not working. Can't get help on the weekends or have an emergency number to call for issues like this is something that should be addressed for the members

I’ve been going here almost 6 years and they have replaced a good portion of the equipment but with how many people are members there you’d really think they’d have the money to fix the cables that are frayed and hitching. Any significant amount of weight will fight you as you try and lift and isn’t safe in my opinion. Hopefully they resolve the issue before my membership expires otherwise I’ll be looking for a new gym. Love this gym but the new owners seem to not care considering it’s been months like this

Will never go to another fitness center! I started with physical therapy next door after 3 consecutive surgeries on my knee in 6 months. They were great in transitioning me to the gym. All of the gym staff are wonderful! Friendly and helpful. They require cleaning after every machine use, and provide the supplies to do so. They have everything you would need for people like me just building up strength to walk, all the way to things for people like my son, who i attempting to become the incredible hulk. Love this place!

My husband and I have had a membership here for 1 year and overall haven’t had many issues. I never leave negative reviews, but after reflecting about an incident that occurred, I felt it necessary to share. My husband and I frequent the gym about 3-5 times/week, and while we don’t talk to or get to know others at the gym, we see the same members/staff weekly. This morning I had been at the gym for about 45 minutes when I was approached by staff, mid-workout, and was informed about a “shirt policy” and was asked to put a shirt on...”you can wear a cropped shirt, but it has to be a shirt”. *see picture of my attire* Less than 3 inches of my torso showing, my breasts are secured, I’m not acting or being provocative or obnoxious in anyway, I literally keep my headphones in and my head down. As an introvert and a fairly-modest woman, I feel mortified about how the situation was handled and confused as to why I was 1) singled out and 2) confronted about my 3 inches of skin showing, in front of others, mid-workout. If I can wear a crop top showing exact amount of skin, why does it matter? I’m not bothering anyone, I’m not “showing too much skin”.
⚠️Warning to all women, especially if you’re feeling confident about your body and hard work - steer clear.

Also, a lot of the gym equipment is really dated and rusty, making it difficult to adjust to your needs (I’ve had to ask staff to help me as the machine was so rusted, I couldn’t adjust it to my short legs). I think they are slowly replacing some of it, but another piece of information for others to be aware of.
