I've been training with Jacob for almost 6 months now, and I don't say this casually, but he's changed my life. I've had numerous gym memberships, and purchased plenty of equipment to use at home, but none of that matters if you don't have the right motivation and skill. Jacob provides that and more.

First of all, his gym. It's immaculately clean. It smells nice, and since you have one-on-one sessions, you have the space and equipment all to yourself. You feel no self-consciousness or intimidation from a large gym environment. Also, he monitors your progress for you, so he knows what exercises you've done before and at what weights. He readies the equipment and exercises for you, so you don't even have to think about what to do. You just have to do it. Then he puts everything away for you and gets you ready for your next exercise. It makes exercising so much less complicated.

Second, his approach. He has a PhD in Physical Education and brings a wealth of experience. So, his knowledge is extensive. He makes an effort to listen to you and develop a plan to achieve your goals. That plan includes both in-studio and at-home exercises as well as appropriate dietary and holistic recommendations. During the in-studio workouts, he's great at balancing between pushing you as hard as you can go and giving you enough rest between reps and sets so you're not overexerting yourself.

In these 6 months, I've lost the weight I wanted to lose and increased my strength and stamina. I've improved in many of my medical metrics like lowering my cholesterol, blood pressure, and resting heart rate. My clothes fit better, and I like how I look in the mirror.

He works with all different clients looking for general fitness, physical therapy, Pilates, and more. If you're looking for a trainer to help you achieve your goals, then you should work with Jacob at Finetes.

The gym has a very quaint private and boutique feel to it. It is immaculately clean with a modern interior design vibe which I appreciate. Jacob has a very keen sense of understanding my personal fitness goals, even as a novice and new to working out he made me feel very comfortable and motivated. He is also very knowledgeable in all areas pertaining to the body and how the muscles are being used differently in various excercises. I'm most impressed with his personal level of fitness that he maintains.

Jacob is very encouraging and knows what he is doing. He builds your confidence and I do feel that my strength and endurance has improved greatly. I have been training with him for over five months now. My stomach feels tighter and I don’t get tired quickly as before.
The facility has good vibes and smells great every time I come! And he is also great badminton player!

The studio is very clean and well-equipped. Jacob, the trainer, is very professional and has a positive and encouraging attitude. He is also very attentive and dedicated to accommodating each client according to their fitness level, needs, and goals. I would say the workout is on the slow-paced side with plenty of breaks in between the exercises, but I guess this could have just been tailored to me and my workout buddy.

I have been receiving personal training from Jacob once a week for almost 4 months now, and I am noticing great results in terms of strength and stability. The biggest benefit of PT for me has been learning and being corrected in proper technique and form. I feel more confident that I am performing my exercises effectively and efficiently. Also, I am challenged to be pushed to my limits so that I’m always progressing, which I find difficult to do on my own. My husband and the coaches at my group fitness classes are impressed with my improvements!

I highly recommend Finetes for those wanting more targeted and results-driven workouts - especially those working on body recomposition, as they have an InBody scanner to track progress.
