DO NOT GO TO THIS STUDIO. I attended a session on June 15th, and the lack of professionalism was stunning. Tanya barely introduced herself. She explained nothing about the upcoming workout or the studio, and I was the only one there, so there was no excuse. She put me on the rower and lazily asked me what is my "goal" for fitness and pretty much said nothing during the rest of the workout. Just sent me station to station, watching me awkwardly and not talking. For goodness sake, I had to ask her how many reps to do for each workout. And to top it off, she had a young kid running and playing around the entire time, dangerous and seriously annoying. This was the worst workout experience ever.
7/12 Update: Tanya's response is a nice, flowery reply, but it is not representative of what happened at the studio or my complaints. I knew she was the instructor listed when I arrived, but it is off-putting and unprofessional to not receive a first-time introduction to the studio, the workout, or her fitness background when first meeting a student. The fitness observations noted in her replyββnone of these were communicated to me day of. Still a disappointing experience.

I've been attending Tanya's group classes for nearly a year, and the experience has been fantastic. The small, tight-knit community makes each session feel like a personal training experience. These classes are also the most affordable I've found! I love the variety of exercises and how they engage different muscle groups. Even with just one class a week, I've managed my chronic inflammation and regained most of my mobility and strength. I highly recommend Tanya's straightforward, results-oriented approach to anyone.

I started going to Tonya's class after physical therapy for lower back pain.
When I first went we clearly stated my goals and began to work to strengthen my back and core.
Tonya's laid back approach is great, I have had trainers who are over the top with their "motivational" talk. If you are looking for a nonsense approach to your workout. This is the place for you.
I am happy to say I have not had back problems and feel it much stronger with the side effect of getting in better shape since coming to get classes.
Additional note: her son is there at times, but he is a joy to have around. Curious and joyful.

Tanya has great yoga and fitness classes! Her knowledge of the body paired with her experience as both yoga teacher/fitness trainer is the reason I felt comfortable transitioning from all stretch to more strength. I highly recommend coming to try any of her classes!

I have been training with Tanya for over 10 years, and Itβs been great! She creates excellent workout plans that fit my individual needs and goals and continuously challenges me. π She is very knowledgeable and wants me to succeed, adjusting my workouts as needed to help me reach my goals. She also guides me with my nutrition planning. I highly recommend her - she is qualified and trained in what she does!

I have been training with Tanya Peale for the last year. From workouts to meals and nutrition and even counseling during my journey of weight lose and improvement of my overall health.
Tanya is a great listener and she keeps me in my lane during this entire process. This transformation of myself has changed me; physically mentally and emotionally and I could not recommend a better person to hold my hand along this journey !!

Tanya is amazing! I first met her 5 yrs ago, and she gave me the knowledge and skills to meet my first goal ( lose enough weight to have healthy pregnancies ). After taking a break to raise 2 back to back newborns shes the first trainer I called and Im thrilled to say she is still the best. This time my teen is working out with me, and watching how Tanya flawlessly crafts a simultaneous workout for the both of us is outstanding.

I have been training with Tanya Peal since 2013. I found her when I decided to embark upon Bodybuilding. She is a yoga instructor at the studio I go to (Gaia Flow) and found that she has her own private studio for weight lifting. Few things that have kept me going to her. She is dedicated to results. She will work you HARD. This is not a session to slack off and just talk. You WILL be picking HEAVY stuff up and putting it down. She is very knowledgeable about nutrition and how it pertains to fitness and weight-loss. I was a tubby insecure person when I started training with her in 2013. I am now confident and somewhat in the know of my nutrition and body. I had a sever surgery in 2015. She was able to literally rehab me and now am stronger than my physician had thought I would be. If you are looking for a STRAIGHT shooter and a PARTNER you have now found her. If you are looking for a trainer that will tell you what you WANT to hear Tanya is not your girl. She is a tough loving trainer who will celebrate your wins but will not stand on the sidelines cheering. No she is on the sidelines pushing you to do better.

Tanya is amazing with all levels of fitness. She has an amazing balance of being able to push you to get the most out of your training without screaming at you or feeling like you accidentally signed up for iron man.
My sessions are something I look forward to every week. Tanya not only shows an interest in my fitness goals she advises me on new goals based on the potential and growth she sees in me. As a result, I have experienced the unintended consequence of having more confidence in myself.
Tanya truly cares about overall physical fitness. She has the knowledge about making proper food choices ("diet") and overall health that is a valuable pairing with the physical workouts she provides.
Since February, I have gone down 2 clothing sizes. As an added bonus my courage, confidence, anf self awareness have increased.

Not very impressed as I had high hopes for working with Tanya. She seems knowledgable about fitness and nutrition but her delivery is horrible and tacky. She suggested I use whey or soy protein but that's not part of my goals, that's not what I want. If I wanted whey protein I would use whey or soy. Your goals, is her goals. Be prepared to just shut up and listen and just nod yes. Since that's not the person I am, and I choose to be very involved in my fitness and nutrition, good and bad, I had to pass on her. Which is sad because I do think she is very knowledgable but couldn't take her unprofessionalism oh and her poor advice telling me I'm going to fail because the nutrition service she "offered" which is not mandatory I decided to pass on. Wow that was not very encouraging and definitely not gain me as a client. Not that I want someone to lie to me or sugarcoat but how do you already expect someone to fail when they don't take your program that you presented as "If I want it," not that it's included in the training packet it was a "if I want it." So I didn't take it and she chuckled and said "most people who try it on their own fail" well at that moment it was time for me to go. She may be a great trainer, just not for me.

I started working with Tanya at Fit Appeal Training Studio the second week of January. While I haven't lost a lot as far as the scale goes, I've lost a lot of inches and dropped two shirt sizes and one pant size. I'm doing an extreme weight loss regimen the right way. I'm looking to lose over 100 pounds over the next year, and Tanya is the trainer I've selected to help me.
I've been overweight my whole life, and when I hit 30 I decided I was done with it. Time to save my own life and lose weight. I knew I needed help, and I looked for awhile. I'm too shy to go to some huge gym. I'd feel entirely overwhelmed so I know I wanted to go to a smaller gym. I also knew I wanted personal training. I wanted a trainer that knew me, knew my goals and limitations, and could design a program specifically for me. I found that with Tanya at Fit Appeal Training Studio.
First, the studio is great. It's private with shades covering the windows. Not to mention it is extremely well kept. I saw a few gyms while looking for a trainer that were just gross! So it's nice to go to a gym that doesn't smell like old gym socks, and isn't dingy and dirty. Fit Appeal is filled with every type of exercise equipment imaginable. I've been going for over three months now and still haven't used everything! Lol!
Second, the prices are very reasonable. Not only for one on one personal training, but also for her semi-private monthly package which I fully intend to take advantage of when I'm not so self conscious about my weight and can keep up with everyone else. For now it is personal training four times a week for me.
Third, Tanya knows so freaking much about health and nutrition! She is a wealth of knowledge, and will go over your eating habits with you and then design a personal meal plan around foods you like most. I appreciate that because I'm not a carrot and celery kind of girl. She started by asking me what kinds of foods I like most, and then emailed me pages of alternatives that I would enjoy. And I have. She also gave me a break down of what my meals should include including how many grams of protein etc.
Fourth, Tanya doesn't lie. She's not going to coddle you, or tell you what you want to hear just to get you in the door and take your money. I really like that. I've had enough people coddling me over the years and enabling me. I appreciate the fact Tanya just lays it out there. She was very upfront that I'm obese and it is going to take a lot of work to undo the damage my bad habits have caused. However, she also said as long as I put the work in we'll get it done. And we are! She keeps a very accurate log of what exercises we do each session so that she's working my entire body, but she does focus on my problem areas a lot. She pushes me every session. She pushes me as far as I can go, but she monitors me to make sure I don't pull or strain something. She's very involved in your training.
I just can't say enough about Tanya and Fit Appeal. I've signed up with her for all of 2015, and I expect I'll be training in her semi-private groups for years to come to maintain my weight loss. As long as neither of us moves! If you're looking for someone to dedicate themselves to helping you get healthy check out Tanya Peale at Fit Appeal Training Studio. I know she does a lot of physique training, and helping people sculpt their bodies, but she can do wonders for people who are overweight! I should know! She's helping me save my life!
