Have been going to Fit austin consistently for months now, and can’t say enough good things about this place! The size of classes leaves room for the trainers to help you with your form and make sure you’re getting the most out of the classes. You get a full body workout in every time, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable (always willing to chat about your goals after class), and I’m feeling as strong as I’ve ever felt. The 45 minutes fly by. You won’t regret giving Fit Austin a try. :)

Fit Austin has been my find of the year! So if you live anywhere close you should absolutely try a free class! Once you do, assuming you're motivated to make a change in your life, you'll most definitely become hooked.
The facility/equipment (free weights, treadmills, TRX, Infrared Sauna, bio-metrics reader etc.) are top-notch, the training staff is excellent, and the classes are great.
For the classes, the staff certainly wants to help you see results, but you do train at your own pace. Which is a good thing because with like CrossFit (which I’ve done) workouts turn into competitions and competition lead to injury, Fit Austin is self paced. Ultimately, you're only competition is yourself and what you decide to put into it.
Special shout out to Layne, who always brings the energy + excellent WODs to the table.
Do yourself a favor, drop the gym membership that you rarely use and when you do you just got through the motions. Instead get into see the crew at Fit Austin where you might pay more but you'll absolutely get more out of it.

FIT Austin has totally transformed my ability to and attitude towards working out. I have always hated working out. On top of that, I have a shoulder injury that was making little to no progress with physical therapy. I felt stuck and frustrated. Once I started working out with Dane as my personal trainer, he helped me do a 180. I actually enjoy going to the gym now and my shoulder has made so much progress in the few months that he has been training me. Can’t recommend FIT Austin and their trainers enough.

I’ve been going for over 6 years and what can I say… Fit is the best gym in Austin! The group workouts are guided by very educated and warm trainers. You become friends with the community of people you workout with. And the workouts are so good that, with consistency, you can stay in the best shape without having to spend more than 45 minutes per workout. I absolutely love working out in the group classes at this awesome family-owned small business. Every workout is different so I never get bored and each coach I've worked with has been able to adapt exercises to my needs and abilities to prevent injury. I’ve been a member at FIT Austin for 4 years now. Probably one of the main reasons I stay in Austin is because of this gym. The classes are always different so you never feel stagnant and they’re always challenging. The coaches are very professional and take the time to understand your personal fitness goals. It’s a great community to be a part of, and the value of what you get for your membership is huge because the equipment and classes are so unique.

I’ve been going to FitAustin for about 3 months and highly recommend this gym. I’ve seen some progress in my own fitness and owe much of the success to the coaching staff for their help. Coach Lateef/Jen, Kyle, Courtney are second to none and make each individual participant feel like your success is theirs as well. From their patience in explaining proper form outside of class, to giving nutritional advice, their patience and encouragement make going to the gym feel more accessible and less of a chore. I have attended other group fitness classes in the past but must say this has felt the most personalized and rewarding. The recurring participants that come back each day is a testament that others feel the same way.

I’ve worked out for most of my life: running, Pilates, hot yoga, personal trainer, etc.
The TRX workouts at FIT have whipped me into the best shape in such a short, dedicated period of time. Everyone is working hard and the 50 minutes of murder to your body flies by. Check it out for a month and I promise you’ll thank them!

I had started getting lazy about working out late last year, and the pandemic certainly didn't help. I gained the "Quarantine Fifteen," and I was nervous/unmotivated to restart a fitness routine. Enter personal training with Jenn. She's patient, gentle (yet she always pushed me!), and encouraging. Since working with Jenn, I've grown stronger, have taken better care of myself, and have gained the confidence to continue maintaining a healthy and fitness-forward lifestyle. FIT has become a part of my family! The atmosphere is encouraging and looks at health and fitness holistically. I have participated both in personal training with Jenn and group classes and can say that both are highly effective. Every member of the FIT team has been highly knowledgeable and I feel like each is genuinely interested in my success. FIT Austin is so much more than a gym. Membership does not just include a place to workout. FIT is more like a 45minute wellness class. Lateef and the coaches help to cultivate healthy habits. They bring your attention to breathing and movement, and they are always introducing new ways to move (in the gym and at home!). FIT offers a holistic service that really enhances your daily awareness of well how to be a higher functioning human! COVID has disrupted our 'normal' lifestyle. FIT has stayed agile in keeping us safe while giving us a space to maintain our health and encourage us to take action even outside of class. It does not matter where you are starting in your fitness journey - and I say journey because it doesn't feel like a 'workout phase'; FIT is more sustainable than that. I have been going for almost two years, and I have never gotten bored with a class or tired of a routine. I definitely recommend giving them a try. The atmosphere is not daunting or intimidating, and you make it as challenging as you want it to be. Even though it is a 'class' workout, you attack the movements in your own space, and the FIT team is there to help optimize the movement at whatever level is challenging to you. FIT focuses on HIIT workouts, which means that you are not just there to lose a few pounds, but you are exposing your body to a wide range of benefits. While increasing cardio health is a big thing for me personally, I have also tracked my metabolic changes like blood sugar resistance and cholesterol. I have gone from pre-diabetic to the opposite end of the spectrum, and my HDL (good cholesterol) is really high - and I can't say that is due to a strict diet change lol... So the type of workout -HIIT- is really good for your body and long term health, and the FIT team makes it so easy. If you want a place to dedicate time to your health throughout the week, FIT Austin is a great place to start. They have morning, evening, and virtual classes if you can't make it to the gym that day. Try out the 5 am class! It is a crazy early time, but don't worry, we won't subject you to any talking if you're not awake just yet. Highly recommended!! Thank you, FIT Austin, for everything you've done for me (and my husband). We love coming to see you, and we really appreciate EVERYTHING y'all do!

After failing at-home workouts, I joined FIT and have never been happier or stronger! There is a sense of community from the small class sizes, the instructors are welcoming and knowledgeable, and I leave each workout feeling better.
During COVID-19 they have done an incredible job keeping equipment sanitary and their members safe. When you go into a class, you have your own space and personal equipment which has been sanitized twice before you use it.
100% recommend joining this gym!

I joined this gym almost 2 years ago when I was looking for some guidance for postpartum recovery and I'm constantly impressed with how the owners, Jen and Lateef, create challenging yet rewarding training programs. Unlike other gyms, their focus on form and correct posture makes all the difference.
Given Covid-19, they have pivoted quickly with new equipment and programs to ensure safe social distancing, added virtual trainings and are always open to feedback and making sure everyone feels comfortable.
The atmosphere at this gym is inclusive and welcoming and I can't recommend it enough!

FIT is a wonderful, local gym with small group HIIT classes and personal training. I found Lateef (co-owner and trainer) one summer when in a desperate need to get my bottom in gear. I spent the better part of a year getting one-on-one training with him and he was truly a God-send. Always kind, uplifting, smart and caring. He would work with me on my diet, make me accountable (in a loving, not judging way) and had great workouts for me every week. I truly enjoyed those sessions. I was only signed up for 8 weeks, but kept resigning with the personal training for months and months simply because it was that great and worth it! Also, dropped two pants sizes and feeling more toned and athletic than I had since my high school days.
Group classes... I began those and soon found out how great the community is at FIT. There's no hierarchy or competition. You are your own competition. Everyone is kind, smiling and high fiving. No judgement, no boot camp yelling... just uplifting and fun.
The workouts change everyday, are full bodied workouts and are quick (45 minutes). They fly by and you know you got a great workout because you always leave sweating and then you get that sweet, soreness after. The gym is so clean, has lots of parking and a convenient location.
I truly feel blessed to stumble upon FIT that one summer.
I love Courtney's classes during the week and Kyle's. Honestly all the trainers are amazing and you will get a great workout in with any, but those are the trainers I see most with my schedule. Do yourself a favor and go, you won't regret it!

Fit Austin is a great place to get a good workout without getting injured. I've been getting personal training with Courtney Durango for the last year. She is amazing and really knowledgeable. She will explain to you exactly how you should be doing every movement and she will tailor a great workout plan based on your body type and needs. I got stronger and more mindful with my workouts since I started working with her. The most amazing part is that she is pre and pos natal certified as well and it is being amazing to me because she has been helping during my first pregnancy recently, I was feeling lost but she had helped me to understand all the changes that I have been going thru and tailored a completely new workout to keep me active and my baby safe. If you need a down to earth, sweet and knowledgeable trainer Courtney is one of the few in Austin that will help you to keep your workouts safe and real.

FIT Austin is amazing! They offer personal training and group classes, both which push you to the limit. (In that good working out way)
I have been to my share of fitness places: gyms, yoga studios, fitness camps, spinning etc... none of them have compared. They will give you a full workout and help you do the exercises properly. No rushing reps without proper form.
I am currently being trained by Megan Kogucz and she is legit!!! I have had 6 personal trainers before her. (My weight loss journey has been long and my love for tacos is strong) Megan has been the only one to encourage me beyond the gym. She'll push me hard on training days, but she'll give me homework to do on my off days. She has helped me overcome a lot of hurdles (mental and physical) and I've come out stronger. It is wonderful to have someone in your corner, believing in you, telling you that you can do that last rep, you can hold it for 5 more seconds. With Megan you get a full training session too. Like I've said, she's my 7th trainer, and a lot of them like to pad the time with signing you in and talking and yadda yadda yadda.... when you train with Megan you get straight to business (yeah talking is allowed, but you're working)
The results are clear: my weight has gone down, I've dropped several sizes, I have more confidence and energy, posture is better and my craving for tacos has lessened. I now know how to properly punch, push-up, do a burpee and run. This is the place to go if you are ready to stop giving up. This is the place to feel strong. This is the place to get FIT Austin!

I will start by saying FIT Austin is the only place I've tried TRX, but I've fallen in love with this style of workout. Who knew you could REALLY get strong just by utilizing your own body weight?! If you've never been to a gym that made you feel welcome, you're missing out. And, you need to head over to FIT. Lateef (the owner) and everyone else I've trained with at FIT are so encouraging. They push you to do your best, but never make you feel intimidated. TRX is for everyone at all levels. I tell everyone that's looking for a new gym to give this place a try because you're gonna sweat, and you're going to see results!

I love the variety of class they offer. I can go up to 6 times a week and do something diffrent each day. Location is easy to get to, staff is outgoing and friendly. I also love the clientele, even though the workouts tend to be on the hard side everyone helps encourage each other to make it through! I am for sure stronger because of Fit Austin!

I could probably write a novel about all of the reasons why I love FIT Austin, so I will just list a few of the reasons here for the sake of time :) Lateef and D are top notch coaches. The classes are FUN and challenging and every class is different, so you will never be bored. I came to FIT in good shape, but after about 4 months of coming to FIT about 4 times a week, I have become stronger than I ever thought possible. I can't wait to see where I am 4 months from now! D and Lateef get to know you over time and really challenge you to help you keep improving and getting stronger. You will never plateau at FIT. I have also met the most amazing people and really feel like the people at FIT have become my fitness family. Everyone is welcoming and friendly no matter what your fitness level is. If you are looking for a clean gym with top of the line equipment, awesome coaches, and small group classes with wonderful people, then FIT Austin is your place!

I love the FIT classes because they are fun, challenging and most importantly...effective! FIT Austin is a non-intimidating gym with small group classes, which make me feel like I'm a part of a family vs. just another sweaty face in the crowd. I started at Fit Austin February 2014 and I totally love this gym. It's combination TRX and circuit training with some yoga and Pilates and animal flow thrown in. I've taken classes with all of the instructors. Lateef and D keep high energy morning classes, Erica will kick your butt at night and Lauren adds yoga flare on Saturdays. I've lost over 8" at this point, every class is cardio and strength combos with modifications if you're new or need more challenge. Equipment is clean and modern, they're constantly cycling in new activities and routines so I've never repeated the same class twice. They often run first week free deals and coupons for unlimited classes for your first month, so check those out. Cannot recommend enough. After moving to Austin from Mass finding a healthy community at this gym has been priceless to me.

Twice I week I wake up early enough to go to 5am FIT Austin classes, and I've been so pleased with the results I've seen in my strength, flexibility, and overall fitness. I absolutely LOVE FIT Austin. There are two different workouts, one is the TRX training, which uses body weight and stability to challenge targeted muscles with a full body impact. The other is circuit training, which is more of traditional boot camp workout. No two classes are the same. The trainers are great and super high energy.
