I strongly recommend this gym! The staff are friendly, the equipment is state-of-the-art, it’s always clean, and never overcrowded. The main reason I joined was for one-on-one training to get back on track after not training for the past two years. Josh and Rene have been super helpful, and after only seven weeks I already feel so much better and motivated to train three times a week! If you’re serious about professional training with real results, this is the place to be. The only downside is the sauna — it’s quite small and usually occupied — but aside from that, it’s an excellent gym!

Rene and Josh provide me with daily attention and reminders, which I thoroughly enjoy. After suffering a stroke three months ago, I had to relearn fundamental life skills. Thanks to Rene and Josh, I have regained my confidence and learned to love myself again, including my physical changes.

Started working out here 2 months ago. I wanted to lose some body fat and a more athletic build so I started training with Josh and Renee and in two months I already get compliments on my progress. I feel better about my physical health and I get a good push working out with my trainer Renee. Really good, genuine, and motivational trainer.

I’ve been training with Rene Vega for 4 weeks and he has really been on point. I work out 3 times a week and he has shown me a lot of different work outs and helped me not aggravate my previous injury’s. I would recommend coming and trying this out to anyone.

Would be 5 stars if the sauna wasn’t so terrible. I switched to this gym from TruFit and I like this gym better in every way except for the tiny little sauna that is falling apart. I’ve been stabbed with staples that are sticking out of the wood and you could get a splinter on the broken wood benches. Please have a proper sauna built. The premade ones like this are junk not made for commercial use.

My son got a membership here several months ago and only went a couple of times and decided he wasn’t going anymore. It is a month by month membership so he should not have been charged after the first month but he continued to get charges even after verbally telling multiple employees by phone when they called trying to get him to pay that he wanted to cancel his membership and had no been coming after the first month so he didn’t owe them anything. Very unprofessional way to run a business. Would not recommend this gym!

I used to really enjoy this gym, which made this experience especially disappointing.

I joined their CANVAS PT program after being sold on the promise of working with a confident, experienced personal trainer who would consistently correct my form and help me progress safely — which was the main reason I signed up in the first place. Unfortunately, that’s not what I received.

Shortly after starting, I was placed with a trainer who was still in training. As a result, I experienced pain while walking and shoulder discomfort — likely due to poor form that wasn’t corrected properly. I felt like I was back in the same situation I had joined this program to get out of.

When I voiced my concerns and asked to cancel, I was disappointed to learn that doing so would still involve a significant cancellation fee, despite not receiving the level of service I had been promised. I understand that contracts exist, but I believe there should be more accountability when the quality of service directly impacts a client’s physical well-being.

I’m sharing this so others can ask the right questions upfront and so the business has an opportunity to reflect on how it supports and trains its staff, and how it responds when expectations aren’t met.

Canceled my account with them and payed the entire contract up to cancel it. Was around 300 dollars only for them to call me 8 months later and tell me I owed them money. They will scam you. Edit:When I went in the lady removed the late fees so I increased it from 1 to 3

Los perfectos estafadores, mi membresía supuestamente era de 50doll y cada mes me cobraban mucho más que eso hasta q llegaron a cobrarme 200doll un mes y luego de eso cancelé mi membresía. It took me a couple a months to write this review in hopes that things would change but nothing did. The gym itself is a great facility, with up to date equipment, with a great training program as well. The issue is with the 3b training am class which was never taken seriously. Having last minute class cancellations, no calls no shows is the norm. When these issues were initially brought up I was made promise after promise which never happened. I had to fight to get some sort of discount since there is an extra charge to have the classes included in the membership. Then, my membership was abruptly cancelled while I was still owed some training sessions.

Clean, new gym. Plenty of equipment/weights and space. I was there from 2p-4p and there were probably not more than 20 people at any one time. Nikki was helpful with the facility tour in the morning when I first stopped by and Oscar was equally helpful and informative when I went back for a trial run later that day. Enjoyed it enough to sign up after having been with my previous gym for 7 years.

Update: Couple of months here now and still highly recommend. There are plenty of times to avoid the crowd which never really is that bad. Most here are focused on getting their workout in. Gym stays clean and the equipment gets fixed fairly quickly if anything goes down, which is rarely. Staff is friendly and helpful. Really enjoying it at 1440.

Well I left a local gym for this place. I’ve now got my entire family going (4) and MULTIPLE recommendations signed up. Leg equipment is top tier and cardio machines are in abundance. Although it will get packed towards the evening it still is a great gym overall. My son and I are currently prepping for a bodybuilding competition and I’ve never had a stronger mind or body! Love this place! I have had the privilege of working out at both the San Angelo 1440 and the Odessa 1440. The staff at both gyms are exceptional. I guess the only other thing I could ask for to make this place any better would be an All-you-can-eat Taco bar! But then I would spend more time getting fat than actually burning any.

Excellent gym for the price point. Only thing that kind of sucks is the lockers (mens) have built in locks which are almost all broken already so you have to really hunt for one to secure your bag in, which is a shame for how nice this place is.

I love the energy in this gym. I like how clean it is. I like how kind the staff is and friendly especially maribel. All the equipment is great. I absolutely love the leg equipment it’s a variety of great machines. It’s spacious and the sauna is really clean. I love how many things come with it. Honestly this is one of the best gyms in Odessa that isn’t outrageous in price. Very professional as well.

Best gym in the Odessa area! Only gym that has all the equipment this gym has plus hot and cold tubs! Some gyms have tanning beds, massage chairs/tables, and 3-d scanner but no one else has the hot and cold tubs or the Bluetooth capabale infrared dry saunas in each bathroom!! Plus the staff is epic!! All great people and very kind and Knowledgeable!!
