Highly recommended checking them out!! Incredible staff all around. I have been training with Abri and Mira for about 1.5 years and have never felt so in tune with my body (despite starting training newly postpartum with my first born). Not only is Mira extremely knowledgeable on all things regarding body mechanics and proper technique, she also truly listens to what you may be struggling with and values what your ultimate goals are. She has now been training me consistently throughout my entire pregnancy with my second daughter, and I feel so strong and empowered!! Finally, Abri adds additional talent in the massage therapy department. She has provided many in-training muscle releases as needed, and has now given me two professional prenatal massages. I have been working with Mira since this past October in conjunction with a Physical Therapist to address my knee issues. While the PT addressed my acute pain, Mira was able to go deeper addressing the root causes of the issue and I have never been better! She goes the extra mile to make sure that changes are long lasting and that you don’t continue bad patterns that eventually lead to pain or a less effective workout. My wife and I have been happy Fitness Beyond Training customers for years. We go there because it isn’t your typical sign up for a gym membership you never go to (which we’ve done a few times over the years). They have helped us create and evolve wellness goals that we wouldn’t have the time, energy, or knowledge to do ourselves. Their training coaches are on another level. Every one I’ve worked with has been incredibly knowledgeable. Most have advanced degrees and/or specialized certifications which isn’t typical at your “big box” chain gym. I also love that their facilities aren’t in a giant warehouse where they try to cram in 500 people. Sessions are 1:1 with your trainer and there are only a few other clients at a time when I go. This feels so much more personalized and less intimidating if you hate large gyms or fitness centers.

When you work with a Fitness Beyond Training coach, they focus on personalizing a plan to your specific needs and goals. This isn’t just about creating a workout routine (which they do very well). The trainers take a holistic look at your current fitness level and desire future state, then incorporate everything from nutrition guidance to stretches and release activities to complement your workouts. Even better, there’s an app they offer where your trainer can program a schedule of activities throughout the week.

I have spent my entire career in tech, sitting in front of a computer for most of the day. I also didn’t exercise consistently, and when I did, I relied mostly on information I could find online for proper weight lifting form and technique. When I first started with Fitness Beyond Training, I had chronic back pain. I saw a chiropractor every few weeks which provided temporary relief but it never lasted. My first Fitness Beyond Training experience started with a functional movement assessment. The trainer identified several areas of restriction that were causing muscle imbalances and likely leading to the pain. (This was probably compounded by my attempts at lifting too-heavy of weights with incorrect form.) They created a plan involving lots of stretches and resistance-based strengthening exercises. It took several months of challenging work, re-evaluations, and tweaking of the program but the end result was my back pain slowly dissipated and finally vanished. Years later, I’m still feeling better than I did for most of my 20s and 30s!

After my pain and movement issues were addressed, their trainers were able to help me get back to strength training, but this time with coaching on proper form and properly ramping up weights. Because of Fitness Beyond Training, I feel in better shape in my 40s than I have since high school. I appreciate the constant guidance and expertise they provide as I continue to evolve my fitness journey. It’s not an exaggeration to say that Fitness Beyond Training has changed my life. I cannot recommend them enough—especially if, like me, you’ve struggled with being consistent about exercising and/or have chronic pains that might be related to inactivity.

The exercise physiologists at Fitness Beyond Training have produced results in my body just short of miraculous. They are all well educated in muscle and skeletal function and quickly diagnose muscle imbalances and know how to address them. My ability to bend, move freely without pain, and general fitness has improved greatly since I have been working with them. This is not your ordinary gym experience. The staff is very thorough and knowledgable in helping people regain mobility and self confidence to exercise safely without causing injuries. My daughter Brooke injured her right shoulder back in mid February of this year at a softball tournament, her pain level was a 3, she kept batting but didn’t throw, in March during practice she hit a ball to the fence and her pain level went to a six and stayed there. We took her to a sports doctor, an orthopedic surgeon, had an MRI, and had four visits of PT from February to June. Her pain level never went down, it actually went up during those 4 PT visits (around a 9 or 10, with 10 being the worst). Doctors were telling her they couldn’t help her, that she should give up playing softball, and would just have to deal with pain in her shoulder because of her hyper mobility. We decided to take her to our chiropractor, Dr. Jessica Bryant, who referred us to Fitness Beyond Training in Salado. She was evaluated by Mira and has been doing Physical Therapy with them since July 15 to help her shoulder injury and hyper mobility. Within three weeks of working with Angelie & Tracy her pain level dropped to a three and now happily can say her pain level is at zero. Can’t say enough about this place, the one on one treatment my daughter got from Angelie was awesome!! I highly recommend this place to anyone struggling with injuries or pain. The wonderful staff here will help you reach your goals!

After meeting with Mira and going through testing, the issue wasn’t just from the surgery.

Before I came to FBT, I thought I knew how to keep myself healthy and about working out. Turns out that I had developed unhealthy fitness and nutritional mindsets. After being a client of theirs for almost two years, I have learned not only how to push myself fitness wise and see food as fuel, but also how to be confident in my body, no matter how it looks. Everyone at the studio is amazing in their own special way. Jacy is literally the sweetest human ever, and speaks nothing but nutritional advice, body positivity, and advocacy for turkey bites. Mira is such a fantastic leader, and knows how to push you out of your comfort zone, but not enough to where you are in pain. She is a true expert in this business. Tracy is sooooo good at a killer butt workout, and is just so positive to be around. Chris Vega is kind of iconic. I enjoy being challenged in his workouts, and reaching levels of fitness stamina I never knew I could achieve. He is so encouraging, and he did nothing but challenge my competitive nature. Also, he is quite the coffee connoisseur, so we love him. Angelie Juaneza is especially amazing at what she does, and has literally changed my life. She truly cares about every client that walks into the studio, and will make sure that we are not only physically healthy, but also mentally stable as well. Her workouts are unique to each person she works with, and makes it her job to know your body and your potential just as much as you do. She is kind, loyal, and the best fitness professional out there. I came into that studio with an unhealthy relationship with food, fitness, and myself, and FBT (and Angelie Juaneza) changed my habits and lifestyle for the better. I can honestly say that life would not be the same without them. My name is Hunter. I suffered an extreme injury to my spine in the middle of my high school baseball season. After the injury I assumed my physical goals were out of reach. I had surgery on my back and was quickly allowed to return to athletic activities. As I began working out again, my family searched for a physical therapist. We could not find one and heard great things about FBT and decided to give it a try. I was introduced to Chris Vega, one of the Exercise Physiologists that works for FBT. I have seen him many times in the last couple months and can say with certainty he is the most positive and most encouraging person I have been blessed to work with. this is a first for me, i am 67 and been in many accidents. i realized what was happening to my body and i was not going to let it get worst, so i searched out a trainer while visiting my daughter , oh am i so thankful. the professional research done first to see what i needed and the listening to me as to the goals i wanted to achieve. the team is real and great, but my trainer Angelie, that is a keeper. she catches things and explains and communicate so well. we have done video sessions since i am back in Wyoming and the results are unbelievable. i would recommend Angelie to any one with the greatest of honors.

I have been working with Fitness Beyond Training in Salado, TX for 9 months now. I knew that if I didn’t do something, I would need knee replacements as I had injured both knees in the past. When I started the program, my doctor classified me as morbidly obese. I am no longer in that category.
The team at Fitness Beyond Training takes a holistic approach to wellness by not only concentrating on the exercise but also nutrition. There is no “cookie cutter” approach to Fitness Beyond Training. Each program is tailored to the needs of the individual. For my nutritional needs, Jacy Mullins has been a wonderful source of ideas, suggestions, and direction. There is no prepackaged food, no points to count or exotic meal requirements. Nutrition is based on healthy eating that is once again tailored to the individual.
My fitness coach is Angelie Juaneza. Angelie is an AMAZING individual with which to work. She has a Master Degree in Exercise Physiology and she knows how to design a program that works with the strengths and weaknesses of each individual. Her sessions are upbeat, encouraging and effective. I am fully aware that I must do the work, but I do not believe that I could have accomplished the success I’ve had thus far with any other coach.
Over the past 9 months, I have lost 78 lbs. and more than 12” off my waist. I rarely have any pain in my knees anymore and, thanks to Angelie, I know I have avoided knee surgery. I am walking an average of 20 to 25 miles per week in addition to my sessions with Angelie. I have recently incorporated jogging into my walks – once again with no pain in my knees. I used to dread stairs or steps but not anymore. All of the improvements in my physical health are something I could not have imagined 9 months ago.
Angelie Juaneza, and the team at Fitness Beyond Training, deserves my highest recommendation.

I have worked out in my local gym for several years now but was unable to get the results I was looking for. Then I met Mira Rasmussen who was the daughter of a great friend and in our discussion on physical exercise found out that perhaps I was not working my muscle groups like I should be.

I cannot rave enough about FBT! The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff was extremely knowledgeable!

I am a mother of 5 and work a fulltime job which is difficult enough when you are trying to take care of yourself. Unlike other programs I have tried, FBT understood my hectic schedule yet also understood my desire to feel better and get into shape!

FBT performed detailed assessments that were thoroughly explained. After these assessments were completed, a detailed (but manageable) program was built specific to my needs and wants! FBT works closely with me to make sure that I am achieving my goals and helps me meet new ones by changing and/or tweaking my program according to my progress and needs.

I am seeing and feeling results and naturally correcting dysfunctions that I didn't even know that I had, which in turn is helping me finally achieve goals that I have been working towards for many years!

Jacy was wonderful. She worked diligently with a close family member to prepare for athletic season and pushed when appropriate. The pre-testing was well worth it. Finding the basal metabolic rate allowed for a knowledge based nutritional plan to be extremely effective which in turn provided the nutritional balance necessary to make effective gains (and losses where appropriate). I've worked with Jacy for about 7 months. She works with her clients in a very targeted way to build muscle strength where it is needed. That approach, as opposed to a cookie-cutter workout that I had been doing on my own, has been a great benefit. My posture has improved and I am so much stronger. I truly feel like I have 4 personal trainers for a price less then what most gyms cost to have one. They are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. All the members of the FBT team are certified and have at least a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology so I am confident that I am in good hands. I really love the personal training from Fitness Beyond Training. I've had various trainers before just because I want to stay healthy - I am not a jock, I'm just trying to keep the pounds and diseases from creeping in. This is a perfect organization for this--if you want to be a jock, you can. If you want to just be fit, you can do that too. It's not a one-size fits all training program like you sometimes get in big box gyms, and my training is tailored to my goals. Mira doesn't push me (which I hate), but she challenges me. Huge difference. I also really appreciate how much they know about nutrition. Lots of really good information and suggestions. I am very happy with the results and won't leave until they kick me out. Mira and her team are very highly trained and experienced health professionals. If you want to know how your muscles work and how to properly perform exercises to fit your personal fitness goals, this is the team for you. The metabolic testing is worth every penny. I had it done 18 months ago and again a year later. The follow-up test showed that I had been successfull in losing body fat and that my exercise program is working.

This test tells me how many calories I'm burning each day so I can tailor my eating and exercise plans accordingly. I'm able to maintain my weight now without dieting. I just keep my calorie intake in accordance with what I burn each day.

I have a bad back and Mira has designed exercise routines that meet my exercise goals without putting stress on my low back. I've lost weight and increased my upper body measurements.

I'm 66 yrs old and in better physical shape than I've ever been.

I've had multiple trainers over the last ten years, but what has astounded me about Mira is how I've toned up and lost my baby weight without exacerbating a previous back/shoulder injury that I've struggled with over the last 15 years. I've lost more weight with her "creative approach" and lighter weights/more reps/incredible diversity than when I was running half-marathons and doing hours of cardio. She also incorporates a lot of stretching, pain reduction treatments, trigger point massage, foam rolling, into her weekly routine. On any given day, if I show up with a pain issue due to holding my toddler the wrong way or driving for long hours, or whatever, she will automatically switch my training plan to one that accommodates my abilities and needs. She is flexible and knowledgeable in her approach, and that is hard to find! Her advanced education and skills training is unique for a small town like Georgetown....... I feel lucky she happened to move back to this area at the same time my family and I did.
The added bonus- she had a baby 8 months ago, and is very knowledgeable in what women go through trying to get back into shape while taking care of the little ones! She is grounded, realistic and disciplined in how she can and will help you! I can't recommended this lady enough 😊🙏🙏
