One of the nicer gyms I’ve been to in the Allen area. Not too expensive, quality workout equipment, mostly clean, and the basketball court has decent runs. Only downside is that a lot of the cardio equipment is broken or not functioning properly.

This is a great gym. It’s mostly well maintained and clean. The staff and employees are friendly and cordial. A variety of equipment is available and most machines have more than one available.
HOWEVER, there are a few things that irk me. First, the giant overhead fans in the facility have not been activated in six months. Why? Employees continue to repeat the same rubbish that they’re working on WiFi or some sort of electrical repairs. Some staff have told me, “They’re on the roof now working on it.” It’s obvious that either the senior manager or corporate has ordered this Fitness Connection to cut the cost of electricity by leaving the fans turned off. In their minds, nobody will notice. Well, let me tell you something…yes, members DO notice this and it causes me and others unnecessary perspiration. Turn the fans back on or get a new electrical repairs contractor!
Also, they don’t have a full set of EZ curl bars. Management needs to order a new 50 pound EX curl bar.
Turn the large overhead fans back on or I will change gyms and continue making other members aware of the absence of air circulation. Especially in Texas when it’s 100 degrees plus outside!

I’m just left right now I can’t imagine how staff treated me like that!!! I’m just visiting my sister and she told them he is my brother and just visiting and they are really was rude…some ones of staff told me you can get inside if you buy supplements or you have to buy 27$ for get inside
!! If I decide to move to Allen I will not be with them for sure!! 👎🏻

Lack of professionalism from front desk, as a customer I guess I expected to be treated as one but instead met with a glare and disrespect. Expect $23 for a day pass or just signing up, hostile when asked if I could try the gym before signing up. I expect pretty crappy customer service from gyms in general but this one is very VERY mid. Gym itself is solid, equipment needs better repair rather than a big poster up front saying “new equipment loading…”. Oh and once you sign up they will blow you up with constant texts and calls so that’s cool too.

Of course a gym like this comes with conditions. In town for a two month project and thought I might sign up for a local gym. I tried to activate their “free” 5-day pass and the first thing the guy says to me is I need a local ID and tries to sell me a day pass. Should have known when I walked in and saw the row of typical hard sell booths on the right.
