For lack of better words, this gym has one of the worst “sales” person ever. My family and I came in to get a free 5 day pass to give the gym a try before committing to a membership. The required tour itself took almost an hour and a half and honestly I had no complaints about it until the very end when we were informed that we were unable to redeem the free trial because we didn’t live in baytown city limits. All of which is perfectly understandable and I would have been completely okay with it weren’t for the fact that she knew 5 minutes after we walked in the door and showed our IDs that we weren’t eligible. Lorena purposely waited until AFTER the extensive and long tour to let us know that we weren’t eligible and our only way would be to sign up for the membership.
Overall I would have been more inclined to sign up for the membership right then and there and if she had just told us from the get go that we couldn’t try it out without strings attached. She wasted everybody’s time and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I absolutely love the Body Pump classes here! The instructors are amazing motivators they bring so much energy and always make sure every class delivers a challenging and effective workout. I’ve been attending this Fitness Connection since 2016. And I love my classes and the instructors! I’ve done just about all the different types of classes offered and at times even done my workouts solo. So I like that the gym offers a lot of options! I’m most impressed by the people at the gym. The instructors make it fun to come and workout. They are great at what they do! Also the front desk staff and the Manager are always welcoming, friendly and ready to listen to you.
Something else really important is that the gym and equipment are always kept clean. The cleaning staff deserves the recognition too.
And I know that they listen to feedback because a few years back I mentioned that some free weights upstairs needed replacing. And shortly afterwards they were replaced with new ones. Keep up the great work! We appreciate you!
