I was going to this gym for a while and it was always an okay gym for me. It was clean and had everything I needed. I recently brought my girlfriend with me because she is looking for a new gym. Fitness Connection offers a 5 day guest pass for free specifically for people to try the gym, but the staff at the Hulen location did not let us redeem the pass despite signing up online before going. Instead, the staff sold us a day pass for $25, which seemed absurd to me considering the price for the premium membership is $20/mo. The front desk employee said he’d waive the cost if we purchased a product, which made me think they push products even when people refuse to make commission. While we were working out a man approached us and asked if we were members, asked about our relationship status, and made some other comments that made us uncomfortable. He then identified himself as a personal trainer but was not wearing a fitness connection “personal training” shirt. He was wearing a personal training shirt from another company. Because of our recent experience and the lack of professionalism I will be canceling my membership immediately.

I’ve been coming to this gym for a while now, and it’s easily one of the best I’ve ever joined. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, the equipment is top-notch, and there’s plenty of space even during peak hours. Nice friendly staff, lots of product, good kids room, clean bathrooms, equipment pretty worn and dated and often broken -takes awhile to get fixed. Good luck finding weights 9/10 - they're missing or in the wrong places and employees dont do regular cleanup of weights so if youre expecting a gym where the weights are regularly put up or accounted for by staff - youre on your own - you need to hunt down your weights or unrack weights on benches/bars left behind by gym goers with no gym etiquette. Otherwise - chill vibe, clean, great professional staff (not pushy or jerks like other gyms,) lots of space, good mixed age crowd - doesnt feel like a high-school cafeteria like EOS. Id recommend over EOS or AMPED 👍

I first met John Cory when I was exercising at Fitness Connection in Fort Worth. He came over to talk to me and complimented me on my workout. Two days later we met to discuss enrolling in a personal training program. He led me through a rigorous workout, after which we talked about my options for personal training. He never tried to pressure me into a specific program; instead, he explained all my options. I ended up signing up for personal fitness training. John is a very personable guy, and I look forward to working with him to achieve my fitness goals.

Mr.King helped me and my mom out so good. He explained everything to us gave us good tips and everything. The gym is huge it’s clean and it doesn’t even smell like sweat in my opinion and I actually like that. A couple days after that we met up with a trainer (the second man Mr. Geene) and he helped us ALOT he pushed us hard and had so much encouragement and I truly appreciate that because I need that. He also helped us with FitStart and told us things what we needed to do to meet our goals and he also gave us diets for ourselves. Mr.Geene and Mr.King are both awesome and very good employees.

Hello,

I’m writing to report an issue that happened at one of your Fitness Connection locations. When I asked about bringing a guest for one day, the manager told me that Fitness Connection doesn’t offer a free guest pass and instead tried to sell me a 5-day pass for $25.

However, according to the official Fitness Connection policy, members are allowed to bring a guest for one visit, as long as they meet the age and ID requirements. I felt misled and disappointed with how the situation was handled.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and make sure staff are properly informed about the company’s guest policy.
