I hate dishonest business practices, greed and unjust scales. Dishonesty and lack of character is destroying this economy. New to the area and scouting out a gym. I get a 5 day pass to fitness connection. Daniel at the front desk was very polite and genuinely helpful. He then gets the manager to assist. Manager Trey says he cannot honor their own pass based on the address listed on the license. He then suggests we drive 45 minutes away to a gym not in our immediate vicinity to activate the pass based on our previous address. Common sense is unfortunately not very common these days. I live an active gym life and have done so for several years now. Success is tied to proximity. The other option he gave was a day pass that cost more than the monthly dues. Trey, please THINK before you speak. Take care of your customers first and the sales are bound to follow. Leadership is about problem resolution. Thank you though because my personal core values DO NOT align with yours. There are still businesses out here that are Godly honest and just reflecting Jesus' biblical principles and operating with an honest spirit of excellence!

I just moved to the area and decided to stop by Fitness Connection to check out the gym. When I walked in to activate my 5-day pass, I was greeted by a young man at the front desk named Daniel. He smiled and asked how he could help me. I told him I wanted to get my free 5-day pass set up so I could try out the gym, and he was super polite and friendly. He let me know he’d grab a manager to help finish the process. He asked for my I.D., and after I handed it to him, he went to get the manager. A moment later, he came back to let me know the manager was on the way. Shortly after, Trae came out to greet me, and I explained that I wanted to try out the gym using my 5-day pass. He explained that because my I.D. didn’t have a local address—even though it was still a Texas address—I wasn’t eligible for the 5-day free pass. Instead, he said my only options were to pay $27 for a day pass or sign up with $0 down and then pay the enrollment fee or drive to the local area where I no longer live in order to receive the 5 day pass. I told him it made no sense for me to pay for a membership if I couldn’t even use the free pass to try the gym first. This whole system is demonic and deceptive, being set up to condition people for the mark of the beast. Trae was focused on making a sale more than actually helping, but I don’t blame him—because the people running this company clearly pressure their employees to push sales over meeting people’s real needs. That’s why the system is so messed up to begin with.

If you’re reading this, I encourage you to seek Jesus. Don’t put your trust in the systems of this world—they will fail you. Christ won’t. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. He is soon to return, and when He does, the only thing that will matter is whether your name is written in the Book of Life.

I came in to try to buy a day pass just to play a few games of basketball, but was told the day pass won’t allow you court access, so they offered the non-commitment option as a way to play. I reluctantly signed up based on the guy at the front desk telling me I wouldn’t be charged any fees, other than the $18.99 that day for the day and it was prorated for the rest of the month. A week later I came back in to cancel, and come to find out I have to pay an annual fee and another month of the membership, even though I cancelled in 7 days. Not a big deal, but just sketchy and a dumb way to force memberships on people who don’t want them, just so they can pretend like those imaginary metrics matter. Will give them an extra star they don’t deserve because it was at least a well kept gym (basketball court is a bit raggedy though).

Great gym, clean, friendly just not enough Triceps “Press Down” Rope Double-Grip available. They should add few more pull down machines and press down rope grips.
The child care area is under staff, wait time of 30 min on Saturday. That’s just very inconvenient to wait with your child in the lobby to check in.

Got turned away for using my girlfriends guest pass since I don't have a local id! Such bs, no other gym has this rule. For $30 a month, go to EOS or crunch, better equipment, more amenities, and you can bring whoever you want with your guest pass!

If you are ever in need of a skilled, knowledgeable, and caring physical trainer with years of experience who is also a licensed physical therapy tech, look no further than TJ Bustos. He is a great trainer who genuinely cares about his clients and their goals. His experience as a physical therapy tech is also great for anyone who needs tips on stretching, strengthening, and everything muscle related. I cannot recommend him enough. The gym as a whole ain’t bad, one of the better ones i’ve been to, however I do wish they could be a little faster at making repairs and putting in work orders for what needs to get fixed. Not a bad gym especially now that they are open 24 hours on certain days.
