Husband and I have loved our experience with Fitness Minded — it is our first exposure to fitness training and Amber and Jose are the most likeable people you’ll ever meet. Also knowledgeable and wise when it comes to nutrition and different workouts to train different areas.

I personally started with Amber when I was 5-6 months pregnant. She listened to my wishes and pushed me during the pregnancy, even in the final weeks leading up to birth. Fast forward to 2 months post partum — I wanted to get back into training and she accepted me and we worked on getting back into good nutrition and healthy exercise practices while losing weight and maintaining breastmilk production. It has just been so wonderful to have her in my corner all this time.

I would recommend Fitness-Minded to anyone interested in bettering their health and fitness routines. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cannot say enough incredible things about Fitness Minded!!

My husband and I signed up for 6 months Couples Personal Training with Coach Randy and had the best experience. He was informative, encouraging and helped us integrate fitness and healthy eating into our busy lifestyle. In each session, he was willing to customize training plans based on what felt right for us and ensure we were training safely.

All of the trainers (Randy, Jose, Marvin, Amber) are amazing and greet you with a smile as soon as you walk in. They create the right environment so you feel comfortable to push yourself in each session.

I don't usually post reviews, but my experience with Fitness Minded has been so exceptional that I felt it was necessary to share. Amber has been my trainer since June, and she has been instrumental in my journey to get healthy and eat right, assisting me in reaching my personal goals.

One standout quality of Amber is her willingness to try different things in our sessions. Recently, we ran around the buildings outside, which was a fun twist from my usual treadmill workouts. Just today, she finished my session by doing kettlebell exercises right alongside me. That really meant a lot to me as it showcased her commitment and partnership in my fitness journey.

Amber’s steady encouragement has made all the difference. She truly believes in my potential and consistently reinforces that I can achieve more, which has been incredibly motivating.

Went to Dallas for a 22 day work related training course. Decided to call this place and get some workouts in and was received by Jose and his team for an immediate Body Fat and Fitness evaluation... Right away I knew I was in for a serious fitness challenge and in just 10 days of doing some personal sessions at FM, I improved my lifting, HITT, and cardio numbers from the initial assessment, from their customized workouts and equipment. I HIGHLY recommend the GYM! I could hear and see the other trainers working on their clients what looked like a solid and dedicated personal method to pushing the best out of their patrons. Signing up for personal training was truly an investment! I started personal training with Amber in late July/early August and signed up for 36 sessions. I have lost 15 pounds since then and feeling stronger and better than before! Amber not only challenges me with heavier weights but also accommodates me on the weeks I am not feeling 100%. She switches up the workouts every 3-4 weeks and stays on top of my progress. Although I am not fond of the torture of the occasional usage of heavier weights and some core exercises, I am glad that Amber pushes my limits and encourages me to expand my horizons.

The other two trainers, Jose and Marvin, are also fantastic and you can see their passion for fitness and helping you meet your goals!

I highly recommend this personal training for anyone who is ready to make a change and see a difference in weight loss and strength training after putting time and dedication into meeting your goals! Consistency is key, and the Fitness Minded Trainers are there to help!

If you want to get a personal trainer, this is the place!!! Prices are reasonable! Jose is a great trainer. I was out of shape coming off an injury and lost a lot of strength the previous couple months. Jose slowly eased me back into it knowing my injury restrictions. Not only did he help me get back a lot of my strength, he got me to new heights! My overall body is gotten a lot stronger in just 3 months. Amber has all the keys to weight loss and body recomposition. While training with Amber, I have been able to lose weight and body fat, while gaining muscle at the same time!!!! She always keeps workouts fun and interesting and has the best motivational attitude through each and every one. Her kindness, dedication, and friendship makes me look forward to going to the gym more now than ever before. She’s truly helped boost my confidence not just in the gym but as a woman in general, and has pushed me to achieve goals that I really wasn’t sure were possible for me. Not only has Amber helped me to figure out the fitness side of my weight loss journey, but she also completely revamped my macros, and helped me to hack my nutrition in ways that WORK for my lifestyle and time capacity. I have also enjoyed the process and results so much that I honestly haven’t felt restricted from all my favorite foods, something I really struggled with when I was dieting and working out in the past. The quick results that I got motivated me to push myself further and further and I’ve lost about 15 pounds since I’ve started seeing Amber (over half of which was pure fat)!!!! As someone who was a gym goer for YEARS, without seeing any lasting results, I can’t recommend Amber as a personal trainer enough!! I began my fitness journey with Amber in December 2021, and I was thrilled with the immediate results and satisfaction I experienced. Unfortunately, due to scheduling conflicts, I had to discontinue my sessions with her after six months. I tried various trainers and programs in the meantime, but nothing compared to the results I achieved with her. I have been training with Jose for over 5yrs. It is one of the best things I could have done for myself. After a particularly stressful period at work, I had gained weight and developed back pains. He helped me lose the weight and build strength and muscles that got rid of my back pain. The training sessions are personalized - Jose is very knowledgeable and tailors the sessions to what your body needs - even through injuries. I was even able to keep up my training virtually during covid. I am however glad to be back in person- the Fitness Minded studio is a wonderful space to workout.

Amber is literally the PT to go to! She makes sure to listen to your goals and curate customised workouts to focus on them.

Before Amber i was lacking some confidence and never wanted to go to the gym because I had no idea where to even start but Amber helped me out a lot! My husband’s medical journey brought myself and my in laws to Texas in October of 2022. We spent months trying to find a gym or trainer that compared to our home gym in Oklahoma before we stumbled upon Jose and Amber at Fitness Minded in February of 2023. I can honestly say this gym and these people have helped to shape me into a stronger person not only physically but mentally as well.

From day 1, Jose took the time to understand our goals and did not use a one size fits all approach. I wanted to get stronger in case I needed to lift a wheelchair, help my husband up the stairs, or do tasks around the house that required extra strength than I was used to.

Jose took our goals and made the perfect program to deliver results. As someone who frequented the gym 4-5x per week before, I am now at my peak strength and feel better than ever before. Fitness Minded gave me an outlet that I desperately needed at the time.

Jose is a life-changer. His style is very consultative and his regimen is highly personalized.
