Genuinely love this place, don’t go anywhere but here. Cheap day passes, amazing gym equipment, vending machines have my gym bro snacks and preworkout. My friends and I love coming here, the owners are nice and constantly ask how they can make it a better place.

If I could rate 5 stars twice I would.

The gym owners are super hospitable and very sweet! I was able to call and they helped me set up my account and day passes for my friends and I with ease. The app is pretty easy to use and the equipment there had some equipment not even my commercial gyms have back in my home city. I was able to do every exercise I wanted to do. I loved the machines and metal plates. If you live in Giddings, or just passing through, I definitely recommend stopping by. It’s also worth the price for a day / multiple day deals!

★☆☆☆☆ — Long-Time Member, Very Disappointed

I’ve been a member at this gym for a while now, and honestly, I’ve stayed longer than I should have. Over time, the place has become more uncomfortable and less professional — and it’s finally reached a point where I feel the need to speak up.

First off, the equipment is in rough shape. A lot of the benches and machines have cracked or torn padding, and it’s been that way for months. It’s not just annoying — it feels unsanitary and borderline unsafe.

But what really pushed me over the edge is the atmosphere. Yes, there are cameras — which is standard in most gyms — but the way they’re used here doesn’t feel right. I’ve personally overheard staff and even ownership gossiping with members about what they’ve seen on the cameras. Not in a security context — in a gossipy, judgmental way. It’s uncomfortable and completely unprofessional.

I also know multiple women who’ve left the gym because they felt “creeped out” by the environment. And I get it — when people don’t feel safe or respected in a gym, that’s a serious issue.

And let’s not forget the pricing. Every time a single new piece of equipment shows up, membership rates go up — even though most of the gym is still in poor condition. It feels like we’re being charged more without seeing any real improvements.

I’m sharing this based on my personal experience and conversations I’ve had with other members. I really hope the owners take this kind of feedback seriously and make some real changes — because right now, this isn’t a space I can recommend to anyone.

Fitness Solutions is a great gym! Friendly and helpful staff. They have a range of equipment that fits all needs. I'm a huge fan of the Island. Typically, I was the only person in there and got to blast my music and get a solid lift. Lots of squat racks, clean barbells (they have womens bars!), rowers and plenty of plates! So sad I have to leave, thanks y'all for a great experience.

What an awesome gym! You have a choice to go to a place with fancy machines or work out in a place where you have a wide range of weights, rings, pushing a sled, back -bends with a friendly group of guests who appreciate a space to work on ourselves. Giddings needs a place like this for easy access and a wide range of ways to exercise. Thank you for putting this space together.

Fitness Solutions has it all. I have my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification through the NSCA and strength coached at the D1 level. Whatever style of exercise you enjoy and results you are looking for, can be accomplished here. The atmosphere is amazing and the owners/staff are extremely nice. I would recommend this gym for anyone, anywhere on their fitness journey!

Terrible facility. No A/C. Oldest equipment I’ve used in a long time. Members were extremely friendly and outgoing!
Tried calling because I couldn’t get in, and looked around for an employee after a member let me in. Couldn’t find anyone and half way through my work out, saw a lady vacuuming behind a wall.
On my last workout, employee finally came up and asked who I was and I explained, in town for the day and tried calling to get a day pass. Employee said she tried to call me (verified she hadn’t) and said she had been busy training someone, which she hadn’t been.
Went up front and filled out all their paperwork. So I could get back to my last set.
Totally worth it if you are driving through town, but if you need an actual membership to a gym for more than 1 days, try elsewhere and see what real gyms can offer.

Very nice mix of equipment that varies from the typical stuff you see at a golds or any other mainstream gym. 24 hours is always extremely convenient and the customer service is top tier. I was able to come in after closing on my first day and get a membership with no issues. Highly recommended

By far the most kind, helpful, and attentive gym owners around. This gym deserves more than 5 stars for the amazing environment, setup, and services they have! The memberships that they offer do not require contracts and you can cancel anytime, the owners reply extremely quick to any questions or concerns, the monthly membership is very affordable, and the facility is so well kept! All my life growing up I battled with being under average with my weight. Heck I was anorexic! When I started going to the gym I found out about fitness solution through my buddy rosco. Let me tell you this gym has been an amazing. The owners are amazing and they are very flexible and understanding. Also they have so many great machines that have helped me in my gym journey. I’ve gained 18 pounds in just three months workout here. This gym has helped me so much. 10/10 definitely recommend!!!

My gym journey started here my senior year of high school. It’s easy to say, out of all the chain gyms I have been a part of, Fitness Solutions tops them all. Every home town visit includes a visit to the gym where the atmosphere is great. The owners John and Penny are great people and run a fantastic place to workout.

Very clean facility. 24 hour access with a door code. Very easy to navigate, a great variety of machines which are in very good condition.

There is a section inside for field type workouts / sled push etc. Also plenty of area to stretch / warm up.

The free weight selection is great, dumbbells are in 5lbs increments up to 100 lbs and in great shape.

Overall great gym, great people, definitely set up and run by knowledgeable people. 10/10 my favorite gym in town.

Let me first say how wonderful the owners are. When my wife and I initially reached out to them. They immediately got back to us, and were so kind and professional. When I went to the gym this morning I was able to meet the owner John and it's great to see a hands on owner.
The gym is large and has a lot of different equipment. Lots of weight and dumbbells. Very clean and with a great app that comes with the membership. Had a great workout and look forward to many more. The atmosphere was just motivating. Great job FS!

I love this place! It has free weights and equipment up front, and a large classroom with Crossfit-style equipment in the back. It is so nice to see both, not just one or the other. I like that they don’t lock you in to a contract, and I can drop in for a workout when I come visit family in town – no long-term commitments!

Treadmills, rowers, ellipticals, bikes, plate-loaded equipment, cable/weight stack equipment, steel plates, bumper plates, kettlebells from 10 to 70 pounds, dumbbells from 3 to 100 pounds, wallballs, plyo boxes, sleds (with over 100’ of turf INDOORS), rings, squat racks, WOW! (and I know I have missed some stuff). This is a GREAT place to work out. While I was there, I noticed people in the cardio area, some people lifting heavy, others doing “normal” stuff, and more still doing HIIT workouts. Even with all of that, it was not crowded – plenty of space.

It is not an intimidating atmosphere at all. I was very comfortable with my high school and college age children. If we looked like we had a question, there was always someone willing to help. I definitely recommend.

I joined this gym during the pandemic because of my quarantine body. Everything about this gym is awesome. It's super clean and the owners are very helpful and nice. The equipment is solid and I like the all metal weights unlike the new plastic weights at some gyms. I like that its 24hours as well and safely secured at night and eariler mornings, which are the times I usually go.

Fitness solutions has everything for everyone (yoga, free weights, machine weights, turf tack and cross fit style work outs. I have been a member since the start and the atmosphere is very open and geared toward helping people live a better/healthier life. I personally love the personalized attention from my cross fit type work outs, while others use the gym and yoga. Great place will be coming here for a long time.
