Excellent Gym. Great members. I have to retract my review of the Gym. The air-condition went out in Half the gym LAST summer 2024 > I stuck it out for weeks but I'm a 4 time cancer survivor and I changed my Gym to LA Fitness where it's cool and a Great Place to workout. I continued to pay my dues to help out the Club Owner Kevin for 6 months. I was at Kevins house picking up some items over 6 months ago and Told Kevin to cancel my membership I wasn't able to come back and I enjoyed LA Fitness a Great deal. Welll I keep getting the automatic bill on my credit Card so I went into the Gym and Keven in wasn't there I chatted with Carlos and told him being an employee of the Gym to Cancel my membership and tell Kevin I was there and said to cancel my membership. If Kevin want to say any of this s wrong I have stopped payment on my Citi Banks credit card 3 times and had the charges reversed. The most resent charge that the Gym charged my card was $43.50 I called the bank and they called the Gym and the Gym said I was a member and they kept $43.50 charge on my card. I then I went to the Gym Kevin wasn't there so I told the Boy at the counter to cancel my membership. And I told him I had tried 3 times and Told 3 people to do the same thing. He assured me My membership was canceled. But I have a collection company calling every few minutes. I called the bank and told them they had reversed the charge two time and they need to cancel the $43.50. I was put in touch with the head supervisor Of Citi Bank and after telling him my story they said they had removed the charges twice and they had let this Company slip through. And because I was an Excellent 11 year customer with perfect history they would personally pay the $43.50 for letting the Gym get by with what I call Total Fraud. I have the Payment information printed out and the charges taken off my Bill So The Gym has now screwed the Bank as well as me. And I'll be glad to post a copy. I try to treat People Like I want to be treated . What goes around comes around. It's called KARMA> I thing the only truthful person to repute this Is Carlos he is a God Fearing Dude. Stay away from this place when LA Fitness is 3 block away. I was a 5 years member at Fitness Express.

The gym and equipment itself is great, the management is not. I signed up online and when I sent to get my tag to get access to the gym, I was told that I needed to fill out the information again. What I didn’t realize at the time is that they created a separate account so they could bill me twice. Once I realized, I cancelled both memberships, but now that have auto calls calling me everyday to try to get me to update my payment information. So not they were not satisfied to just double charge me for a membership, now they want me to pay for no membership. I’m not sure if it’s laziness, incompetence, or what, but don’t waste your time with this place

Fitness Xpress has been my home gym for a year now, and it’s the best experience I’ve had at any gym. They have all the equipment (nice dumbbells, solid squat rack, multiple benches, treads, bikes and stair steppers) you could need, including some unique machines that I’ll miss (the seated calf raise machine was awesome. The staff is incredibly courteous and helpful, and the price is beyond fair. I’ve gone at peak morning and after work times and never had any trouble getting my work in. If you live in the area, I highly recommend joining Fitness Xpress. This might sound like an overly positive review, but I mean every word, I’m going to miss this place!

I moved to Sachse and was deciding between gyms, I visited Fitness Xpress with the feeling I probably wouldn't be able to join because I'm not a fan of gym contracts, but wanted to give it a shot because I like supporting local businesses. However, Kailee was a huge help in answering all my questions and went so far as to walk me through all the steps for navigating the contract if I ever needed to, when she absolutely did not have to. I figured if the gym had people like her it'd be a good one, and having spent a month here now, I'm happy I took the leap!

Fitness Express Sachse is a local gym with all the equipment you need for a good workout at a lower cost than the bigger national gyms.Staff is friendly and helpful. Staff keeps the gym clean and repairs the equipment as needed. Fitness Express is open 24/7 and personal trainers are available.I’ve been training with Carlos for 5 months and have made some fantastic muscle gains for a 70 year old. Fitness Xpress- You’re doing an outstanding job with the gym! I’ve been a member for years, under different owners, and this is by far the cleanest and most well-maintained it’s ever been. The equipment is plentiful, high-quality, and always in great working condition. The bathrooms are always clean, and there are always paper towels and cleaning supplies on hand. This is one of the best kept secrets in our Sachse/Wylie fitness industry. The gym has everything you need to get a great workout from dumbbells, squat racks, weight machines, cables, and a large variety of cardio equipment. The entire gym is clean and well kept, especially the restrooms. There are even feminine hygiene products available in the women’s restroom which is such a thoughtful, and completely necessary, service that really shows their care for their members well being. They don’t offer group exercise classes, but I’ve seen personal trainers assisting members on their fitness journeys. I almost want to keep this hidden gem to myself, but that’s not the neighborly thing to do! If you’re on the hunt for a new place to workout, you should definitely give Fitness Xpress the opportunity to earn your business!

FX has become a second home to me since signing up in 2018. Everyone here is so friendly and supportive, the staff and all the members. Carlos is always encouraging and just a cool dude to talk to. Great gym and one of the only gyms in the area with 24 hour access. Very nice gym setup everything flows together nicely and makes sense: all equipment facing the mirrors and the same direction and good amount of equipment for all your needs. Equipment is well maintained with adult clientele that actually respects the gym and the members by reracking their weights. If you workout at night Carlos is there from 7pm until some nights 1am offering personal training. He is very knowledgeable and kind and wants people to exceed their goals. Great great gym I'm very happy with them.

The members are there to workout and are very friendly & inviting! I LOVE that its one of the ONLY gyms in the area that is truly...24/7 access and its great to focus at night workouts!

Carlos is a great trainer, he helped me out with first day there and help me out with some exercises on how to due them right and I felt the burn and was sore in the muscles he slowed me to do. I will definitely be hiring him for training later after I get some conditioning in and get started on a program with him.

Easily the best gym in the area. I was in town visiting family for a couple days and the staff made it super easy to get a guest pass. Super nice staff, a good selection of equipment, and you don't get judgemental looks when you're deadlifting (unlike commercial gyms in the area like LA fitness). Came here after they raised the prices at my old gym and I am so glad I did. The owner greeted me when I came by and showed me around. All the staff is super helpful and the price is so good. I go to this gym in the late mornings or early afternoon and have no trouble getting to use the equipment I need. I love that there is a wide variety of workout equipment from free weights to machines. This is cardio heaven with plenty of places to hit the stairs, treadmill, or elliptical. The price is great as well. Sometimes it feels as though this place is my own personal gym.

Also the owner Kevin gave me some free tips on how to improve my form or how to properly use the equipment. The staff is also able to help and give advice but only if you approach. Everyone is there to help you on your fitness journey and I am glad I made the shift since my old gym had too many gym rats recording their workouts or using equipment for over 30 minutes on just one machine.

If you live near by THIS IS WHERE TO COME IF I COULD GIVE 100 stars I could! this gym is literally everything. They are really 24 hours. The staff is super professional, Helpful, & CLEAN. You can smell the cleaning supplies (everytime we’ve came we have) & my daughter & me come at different times! They have trainers for real (not just on an advertising add)
They have tanning beds.
They take Your health ins. If yours pays for your gym membership. YES silver and fit for retired ppl, vets & seniors. & if you have minor children, you can bring them in and there’s a table for them to sit (my 5 year old has autism) & staff was super sweet too him & my 14 year old daughter can work out with me in my eyesight! We love this gym as a family!

Have to give it to them, this gym got all of the basics down with an incredible price. If you are looking for no frills gym, place to get into shape, not overly crowded, and overall great place to workout. Fitness Xpress is the one I’ll pick, sure you can head a few miles down and get your sauna with massage chairs but be prepared to spend x5 the price with it being busy all the time. There is limited equipment which makes for long waits. I loved the fact that it is open 24 hours. It’s a great price for the membership, especially when you get it plus tanning. The staff are friendly. Unfortunately right before I ended my membership it wasn’t being kept up very well. It seemed like the paper towels were always empty. Not to the staffs own fault, members weren’t showing respect by not re-racking their weights and dirty paper towels were left all over the floor.

Bad-lot of equipment broken: for example 5 out of 12 elliptic machines drink holders don’t have bottoms-I see people placing their phones or drinks in the holders only to see them fall to the ground. This morning 2 our of 3 cycles tv monitors did not work. I reported one of them 2 days ago, yesterday, and again today. Management says it’s a simple fix but not a priority I guess. I reported one today as I was cycling and was told it was broken; when I completed my workout I noticed it was simply unplugged!
I reported one of the cycle pedals make a lot of noise like a bearing was going out 3 weeks ago, still same.
Most (not all) of the staff act like your bothering them when you report issues.

Good gym, nice machines, but the maintenance is a bit lacking. Roof leaks when it rains, and a towel dispenser has come off the wall. Also, they have started allowing elementary age kids "work out" in certain areas.

I have been a member of this gym several years, and I wonder how long this place will stay in business. It seems to be going the wrong direction.

I used this gym for a few months, and they were great until now. I became pregnant and was high risk and told to take it easy. So I quit going to the gym and started walking around the block. I went to the gym and spoke with a lady to cancel last year in June. I recently got a letter in the mail saying I owed 183$ for non payment. They said since I never sent in a notorized letter canceling they didn't cancel my account and sent it to collections. I paid over a years worth of months not going and now am being forced to pay a collections agency. I'm posting this to remind others to cancel properly or else you pay the fees.

First and foremost when I walk into the gym I may receive the concessional greeting if the staff is there. For me that's absolutely fine, I am not there to talk I am there to move plates. The staff is very kind and and I don't avoid them because they have never tried to sell me anything, not even tanning. I did get a close ended statement about how much tanning is per month and if I want to do it just let them know. Recently got a follow up phone call from a staff member to see how things were going, if there is anything they can do to make my membership more enjoyable, or if there is any equipment they can purchase to benefit myself and others. This was pretty cool because I have never gotten a phone call from any gym I have joined unless it’s to sell services such as “30 minuet training session”. Not only did I leave my workout towel there that they washed and set aside vs just throwing it in a dirty lost and found, I also received a phone call that made me feel special and valued as a customer. I highly recommend Fitness Express.
