I’ve been coming to this gym for 2 months now and I’m amazed of this clean and organized local gym. I come at 8 am for Zumba and then weightlift. I suggest this gym for those who have to stick on a schedule. The machines are usually vacant and no problems with the gym packed like other commercial gyms with dirty areas. Im glad the gym members brought back the yoga instructor because she was very good and all women enjoyed her class. Therefore, the two staff members Tina and Jorge are friendly and are attendant when needed a shake or need to address membership purposes and give good offers.

Update: They cancel your membership immediately, without notice, because of their inconsistencies AND require you to pay extra because you got told different things by staff. They don’t check cameras or just punish you because I tried to pay the first time. His excuse to treat us this way was because this happens a lot that “people take advantage”
Well, I can see why, and you lost decent clientele because you immediately treated us like trash when that was never our intent.

I attend Floyd Mayweather studio also. So if you want an actual nice gym, this ain’t it. It’s the best if you’ve never left the area. (I was born here, too)

It’s just 24 hour so that’s really the only reason I come here also.

This place is ok. No one cares to wipe their machines down after/before use. Smells. The bar is cool option. Idk how I feel about their vending machines. Junk food does keep us in the gym. Smart. The sauna is cramped and gotta share with others unlike other gyms with single saunas. Nicer restrooms- they lock after 9pm. That shared restroom is gross.

The same exact songs play in there over and over. Variety might bring in more income unless you’re only trying to attract a certain demographic, then congrats.

Also, I generally feel safe to come here at night when staff is on site. After that, the surrounding location isn’t that great. The front door has a terrible blind spot so coming out at night, you’re probably susceptible to being snuck up on to your left.

Today, an old, grumpy man(late 30-40s?)who, by his attitude and sureness, could be the manager or owner? Not sure. I’ve never had an issue with anyone there. They’ve always been so friendly and helpful.

My friend asked a clerk the night before how much time is left on his membership because he was aware it was probably late. And was ready to pay. Gentleman said we had 3 days- I guess a grace period? (Check your cameras, old man- I had my wallet out)

So, chillin, right?

No.

Next day, me and my friend show up on a motorcycle. Not that it matters..right? Well this old dude was giving a weird look as he stuck his head out the door as we were parking. I guess he didn’t like where we parked? Motorcycles don’t like taking up a whole space but maybe he thought we were being inconsiderate? We parked near the bike rack because there was a whole vehicle taking up a space that didn’t even exist-and it was next to a handicap spot- so figured they weren’t too strict on parking…right?

We scan our tags.
Go in.

And this guy wasn’t even at the desk.
He was in the yoga studio.
Immediately paces to the desk as he repeatedly tells or asks us to scan our tags again. Couldn’t hear if he asked or declared(had helmets still on)
And we say we did. Multiple times.

He was very short, barely looked at us, and didn’t want to help us. Like didn’t care at all what we had to say, and we were wrong and he was right.

We both agreed that this guy was unnecessarily annoyed by us, in some way.

No one ever asks us to scan our tags after just getting into the door.

He was very short and bothered by something.

Money isn’t an issue for my friend. We were ready to pay the day before. He forgot wallet today because he thought he had more time.

No reason to take your emotions on people that are genuine and trying to do the right thing.

Overall, a decently equipped gym with mostly nice staff. There is no dedicated bench-press and they would benefit from another barbell, but they have plenty of dumbbells and a good range of equipment. The music choice is pretty poor in my opinion with bad bunny tracks almost every other song and generally only that genre of music, but nothing a good pair of noise cancelling headphones can't help. For the most part, the staff is pretty nice and willing to help you out with exception of some rude man with glasses. Came in and it seemed like he was just itching to find a reason to pick at me. He claimed he stopped me because my membership was expired and past due, but a nice and helpful staff member the day before had told me I had 3 days left and that I was fine. Not sure what that was about. The gym is 24-hours, and it usually does not get too crowded. Will continue going for the foreseeable future, just hoping I do not run into that front desk guy too often.

Be careful with this gym since there are people that is shooting stun gun or electronic shots while lifting barbells or weights, it happened to me this past saturday and also when I used to go there years ago I saw two of the gym members got injured and we thought it was only an accident but now I know it was on purpose. A brown latino guy between his 50 to 60 yrs old wearing eyeglasses and a woman with a blonde hair (she is always coming in and left gym right away)and other bounch of guys are in complicity doing that for fun and only because they want to use the Smith machine . I already report that to the police department and if something like that happened to you please report that to, so you will help others not to get injured

Best gym in my area by far, everything about this place amazing. No complaints at all. Best gym I have ever gone to in 4 years.

Edit: I hadn’t realized it’s been 3 years now! I left out of town for work but I knew I had to come back to this gym. The staff is by far the best quality of this gym (not to take away from other qualities) they are what makes this gym a neighborhood favorite. You run into a lot of locals here but the gym itself is rarely ever crowded beyond your typical after work rush. They hired an additional employee that is constantly going around cleaning the equipment, so this place is definitely sanitary. If you love a more private gym with new equipment this place is perfect. They have restrooms, showers , changing rooms, TRX, tires, weights, machines, mats, classes, snacks, smoothie bar, sauna , and so much more! I truly am grateful I am able to make this gym and team a part of my fitness journey. Thank you Fitness FX team!

The gym has been open for minimum two years and is not well maintained. the restroom is dirty everyday and the gym area is not organized well. The machines feel like they are on top of each other and it is difficult to workout. They need a daily cleaning service to keep up. For the monthly price it is not worth it.

Muy conveniente ya que vivo a 7 minutos.. ahora sí puedo hacer mi cardio y mi sesión de pesas ... ya no tengo que manejar y peor quedarme en el tráfico .
