I was here for a few months, and I moved away, and canceling with them is impossible. Their 30 day cancellation policy should be called a 33 day policy instead, because I cancelled on the 1st of May (after many prior failed attempts to cancelled) and they still charge me for the 3rd of June. I was told I was cancelled after many failed attempts with their staff and email logs, and was yet charged. They will tell you to cancel online, but when you sign up there is no option to create an account, and you are asked for sign in information that you do not have. No body understands their system here, will send you on a wild goose chase, and they won’t know how to help you.

GYM Is very clean.. You will actually be working out and see a gentleman, cleaning and mopping all the time. BATHROOMS are Clean, which is a very important thing to me unlike crunch, fitness, and all of these other gyms around here that are nasty. Staff is very friendly. They also provide you with towels. You pay a pretty good monthly charge. I will say but you pay for what you get. Definitely glad that I found this gym

In the last year I've worked out in all of the major gyms in the Permian Basin. Although at first somewhat hesitant to join Flex as the other commercial gyms offer "cheaper plans"; I am not disappointed I made the choice to join Flex 24.

Flex 24 is a first class facility. I can't stress enough how clean this gym is from the moment you walk in the door, the clean locker rooms, readily available towels, disinfecting spray and towels at almost every station, to the dedicated staff that is cleaning and organizing the entire time.

Training in several cities and different gyms; I’m impressed with the equipment. Nice layout and outdoor area as well. Plenty of plates and dumbbells. Multiple cable stations and isolation machines. Cardio equipment is all newer with TVs. Sauna room is clean and HOT.

My favorite thing about this gym is unlike the "major commercial gym" in town; no one is standing around and gossiping blocking equipment use. If you're focused and know what you're doing, working out here is a breeze. The staff is very courteous and helpful if needed. It's also worth noting that the shake bar has some great options and beverage coolers are always stocked with premium pre workouts, energy drinks, and protein.

Unbelievable bad experience scamers lost gym membership plus they pulled a 300 dollar out of my account without permission ... well long story short I applied online with a reasonable deal came to the store some older lady named iris said it was going to end up to be 300 and something plus additional 50 my fiance and I polity declined for personal reasons...2 days later I get charged with 355.46 tried to call but no one ever answers day 3 they call me back I then explained what happen end up canceling but know one said I wasn't going to get a refund ...so now I have no gym membership nor do I have my 300 dollars and they aren't willing to do anything els they were going to charge me a extra 400 to get out of the membership because it was already 3 days late but I told them no one answered the day before.
Soo I do not recommend! They should have better communication with their customer. Ps I was talking to the manager about this ...and a couple of hours later the front desk lady decides to call me back and argue with me about "who said what" which I informed her that I had already talk to the Manger about everything , so that was a little unprofessional...in my opinion.

Gym wasn't terrible, but they mislead you on the cancellation process. Cost me 1600 dollars to work out 5 times. The front desk told me I would be able to cancel if I should proof of moving, yet when I did the manager basically told me to get bent and tried to guilt trip me into coming back to better my health. I moved 8 hours away and specifically asked about this when signing up. Nothing more than a corporate gym that only cares about taking your money.

I stopped in to get a day pass ($15 + tax, if you were wondering) and I was asked to fill out a waiver. Their waiver started by asking for my email and when I asked for what the girl said it’s just needed for the waiver if you don’t put it in you can’t move forward. I asked if they would send me emails and she responded I don’t know you can just unsubscribe. So, reluctantly I put in my email… the next page asked for my name, address, DL number… I am in Odessa for a wedding and will most likely never be back. I don’t want to provide all my personal information to workout for an hour. I just made me extremely uncomfortable and the staff not being able to explain to me why it was needed made me feel even more uneasy.

Miranda Ramirez and Mitchell,

On June 23, 2020 I was in contact with Miranda to discuss the cancelation of my membership. Miranda sent me the information with the steps and cancelation options.
I decided to not cancel before membership expired due to the cancellation fees. Even though I haven't gone since the pandemic. I made the decision to leave it.

A week before my contract expired, I went to the gym to let them know, and I was told they couldn do anything until 9/17/20, that is when my contract was up.

On the day 9/17/20, I went to the gym to cancel my membership and Maribel (employee that speaks spanish) told me she was going to make note of it in the system for a refund of $100 for the next month. Miranda told me to call the next day to give me an update on the refund.

I called 9/18/20, and Maribel told me that the manager was meeting, that she will leave a message to call me back. I never received a call. The same day 9/18/20 I sent 2 emails to Miranda asking about my refund, one in spanish and one in english, I don't have a response.

On 9/21/20 I went to the gym to find out what was going with my refund. Maribel told me that they couldn't give me a refund because I didn't respond to the email back in June 23,2020. This email was only to cancel options too early and I decided to follow pay to expire the contract.

Maribel was very unprofessional and she raised her voice at me several times in front of customers. On three occasions I asked her to calm down (I am pregnant and she showed no common courtesy of the situation, she was aggressive from the moment I got there to the time I left ). The Flex 24 has a deficient customer service and you can see it in the camaras on 9/21/20 at 12:50 pm. Also, you can see when I left that Maribel made fun of the situation, she made fun and laughed hysterically.

-Customer service gives information causing confusion or misunderstanding as to affiliation.
-The agreement confers or involves obligations which expire on 09/17/20. I have the right to request the refund of payment is advanced and no longer want my membership.

Very very dishonest people. If you are trying to end your contract or at the end of yout contract they will screw you over by continuing to take your money even after you have bent over backwards to do all the required paper work. Once they take your money they don't care about you. They will even send it to collections and ruin your credit without even attempting to contact you. I love Flex 24... not only does Flex provide great equipment with a great atmosphere there employees care about there members. I have been working with a personal Trainer named Kevin and I cannot say enough great things about him. Not only has Kevin helped Transform me for a better me. He listens to his clients and helps them in a great way. He is so dedicated to what he does and he knows what he is doing. He makes sure your form is correct and you do every excercise the way it should be done so you don’t injure yourself. I have had Kevin help me now for about 4 months and I feel so much better about my self, less stress, more confident and I feel much stronger. Thank you Kevin for taking your time in believing in me. I was originally enjoying my first month of membership but since then I am NOT happy. They sold me an over priced gym membership for machines that are never fixed, equipment that apparently is frequently stolen, and machines that need major updates or repairs. Almost impossible to get out of the contract you have to sign even if you move away from the area. I do not recommend this place whatsoever. You are better off going to a gym where you can pay as you go instead of signing a contract with them. Also the contract doesn't automatic cancel at the end. Flex24 is seriously one of the greatest things that has happened to me... After having two kids, feeling in a rut about myself, and not being able to leave the house with my kids... I don't think I would have ever ventured out and started working out had it not been for the AMAZING girls in the childcare who have ALL just taken such great care of my children. My kids Love them and love the 3 story high playroom. Because of that and all of the phenomenal instructors, I was able to lose 25 pounds and have kept it off for 3 years now. I'm amazed at how much strength I've built up and how much passion these ladies have for what they do. There's something about Flex that's addicting and we are all just there to support each other and I wish more people would attend the classes because they are a total body workout. No need for anything else but an hours time. It's hard to believe I've been there so long and nothing has changed. Brenna, the owner has always been so sweet and the employees have always welcomed my kids and me with smiles. The instructors kick my butt everyday except Sunday's and they too are very very nice! There's plenty more to say but I'll end this review with a challenge: if you are feeling like you can't start going to the gym because of your kids or you are feeling to uncomfortable... Then trust me when I say I have been there and this gym will change your life if you let it.

This gym is okay. I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get a basic workout. You have many young people working there. Some which are nice and others who are very antisocial. And for you women wanting to tone up your glutes,your not going to find a workout machine that specializes in glutes. And when you sign up, please note that you will be paying for some kind of maintenance fee which they will add to your first months payment. Your also not going to find a hot tub spa either. I am a group fitness instructor at Flex 24 so I wont "review" that part of Flex except to say that the group classes are wonderful and amazing. All instructors are certified in the classes that they teach. My review is to testify on the things I love as a member. The facility is always clean and cutting edge. The kid's area is amazing and a great place for your kids to get their exercise.. If you have a problem with a piece of equipment or a policy, just talk to someone or better yet, send an email about it. Everyone wants to make everything run smooth, but we cant help what we don't know.
When you join (And I know you want to), make sure you LOOK at your contract. Ask questions and keep your copy of the agreement. This will keep us all on the same page. No one wants to trick anyone, but you do have to do your part and read your contract.

If working out, and staying fit is your lifestyle this is the place for you! Flex 24 in Odessa has it all from weights, cross fit, spinning room, and aerobics. I have been working out for 25 years, and seen many gyms here in Odessa Flex 24 is by far the NICEST GYM!

Flex 24 is by far the best gym in town.
Great atmosphere and equipment is always available when I need it. Also, smoothie bar comes in handy after my workouts.
Will be renewing membership here at the end of July for sure.

Flex 24 is a pretty nice gym, and the staff is friendly especially Amber Crossland. A++. They have bumper plates, and almost all the CF stuff needed without going to a box. I will say they have taken a long time expanding the outside area, and have limited me by moving the rig outside without it being completed. Also, what are you gonna do when it gets cold?

Been going to flex24 for 1 year and 11 months now and I still can't get enough of this gym. They are remodeling at the moment and are almost done but can't wait to have the punching bags back up! The smoothie bar is great for the on the go never enough time person and can get protein shake or meal replacement shake! A drink for any type of person with a few dozen flavors. Amber makes an awesome chocolate frosty! If you don't have a membership get one, the people there are awesome and remember you within just a few visits.

Everything that Mike said is exactly what happen to me this gym managment is HORRIBLE I always had extra charges to my account and when my membership was over they still keep charging me cause I didn't sign forms and still wanted me to pay an extra month when I cancel. The manager does not help you at ALL and never answer your emails they are always automated emails. obsulatly regret going to this gym.

beware this gym. I signed a month to month contract 2 years ago and without notice my dues increased from $30/month to $50/month. Not even sure this is legal as I had agreed to bank draft for $30/ month then bam $50/month. I have tried multiple times to cancel my " month to month" contract with no success. They will not deal with you one on one when it comes to cancellations but rather will give you an email address that no one ever replies to. BEWARE!!!!

Actually, everything you just said in your response is complete BS!!!!!!! I would be happy to meet with you at your convenience so we can make arrangements to cancel my contract. Sir. It's damn sad that I have to have a conversation with you on a review site because you people won't answer my emails.

I have been with this gym for 7 years and before that ive been in other gyms and nothing compares to the constant upgrades and the cleanliness of this gym. They are doing upgrades at this moment im looking forward to another pumped year at flex...

$75 a month!! wow. It is a very nice gym (very nice) However they do not have $75 worth of gym. I come from Lafayette and my gym is $65 month includes indoor pool, indoor track, Indoor basketball, indoor racket ball, 2 story gym, big locker room, dry sauna, steam room, jaccuzzi (and they also have ALL of this outside as well)

For me to pay $75 a month you need way more than this. your dry sauna holds 2 people 3 max, and I MUST PAY a monthly fee for a locker!!! so $95 a month for gym and locker!!! Sure I can use the small free one, but my steel toes wont fit its so small! Then once a year ALL members must pay a yearly "gym enhancement fee"???? really? is the owner that cheap that the only way he upgrades is to charge the members? That should come out of your profits. This way you keep all profit, and make your members foot the bill for upgrades? that's not cool.

Again, it is a VERY NICE gym, but when your guy told me I had to "rent" a locker, that pushed me out. Not worth $75 a month plus $15 month for a locker. You don't have enough gym for that kind of price.

Flex 24 offers the total package. They have ample gym space with all new equipment, extensive cardio, classes that will ensure you get the look you are wanting, a child care facility that will even amaze the oldest of kids, and a smoothie bar that has the best smoothies in the area. Flex is a big city gym right here in Odessa. I would recommend this gym to any one who asks!

Coming from a city where i had a lot of options for places to work out at i was concerned i wouldn't find a place that meet my standards and had what i needed to continue my training when i moved out to this area. I come across flex while driving around and thought that id check it out. As soon as i walked in and took a look around i knew it was the gym for me, it has everything i need and more.This is by bar none one of the best gyms I've ever stepped foot in and is definitely the gym for the lifting enthusiast.

This is by far the nicest gym I've ever been to and the nicest in Odessa! It really is a diamond in the ruff of this dust bowl town. They have every kind of equipment I could ever need and a really awesome set up. I like how the one on University is convenient but I love the classes they offer here and the locker rooms are nice and big. I'm really excited about the new saunas! Absolutely love this gym!! :)

As a group fitness instructor at this facility I know we are the best in Odessa.
We have top of the line group fitness classes, equipment and the best day-care I have ever seen.
If you want to discuss prices and memberships it is best to come tour the facility and talk to the staff as you will get what you pay for.
I do a lot of traveling and try out many gyms and this hand down is the BEST!

Flex 24 is the best facility in the Midland/Odessa area. I have been to a lot of gyms in large cities and never have I seen a gym that combines all styles of training under one roof. The kids facility is pretty epic. All of the equipment is new and always clean. Thanks Flex!

Very expensive. Told was 24hr but is not. No pool no sauna. No guest. only 12 month contract or longer.$350 to break contract. New equipment yay. Could do the same at a reg gym.
