This place wasn't too bad at all, diamond in the rough if you will, I enjoyed the old school vibe and metal weights. There is not a lot of variety but for true lifters to get a good pump. This is the spot.

I would recommend it, it's near the highway and in close proximity to food choices that will feed your muscle after you're done.

So I enjoyed it and the music. I will visit again.

Owner never answers, I’ve been trying to cancel my membership for over a year. I’ve gone multiple times during their hours of operation and no one ever answers. I have screenshots and videos of me going and just standing there waiting for someone to open up and never do. Worst gym ever, never had this issue in any other gym, I regret ever signing up with them. Talking to my bank to see what can be done

Edit: my opinion of the place has changed over the course of 5 years. One the place is in need of a remodel that’s beyond a coat of paint and lights. The bathrooms all smell gross and are just dirty all the time. There’s fees every quarter. He changes the terms of the contract and begins charging service fees per service on your account. If this was once a year it would be fine. However, in one year you will be charged three service fees. I’m betting it’s going to increase to 4 times a year. Edit:(it has increased to 4 times a year )

The place is way too small for the amount of machines. The owner seems to care more about the money that they can get rather than the guests. I need to switch but I’m worried about the cancellation fees will be in the hundreds.

Love the gym and everything that is included with it I have been a member now for 8 months and cannot be more happy. The gym is overall clean and the customers that go there are very well-mannered and polite.I recommend this gym to everyone that I know because of the atmosphere and the amount of people that go.

I have been attending the gym for a good chunk of time. I go every morning.

Cons
1. Hidden fees. I have paid two separate fees within three months from each other. One was for the annual cost fee. The other was for an updated system. Personally, I do not care, but if you do not want to be randomly changed with a months notice then I would be weary.

2. Roaches. If you do not like bugs then move on. It is not a huge problem for me but I do encounter about two every visit. I assume it is, because there is a huge garage door and the facility is cool. Hence, bugs come inside. THE PLACE IS CLEAN. Just a few bugs! Chill. Once again I do not care but my fiancé hates bugs.

3. No extra amenities. You get what you pay for. You get 24/7 gym no sauna (you pay extra) and no showers. Honestly, when I tell people that they turn away from this gym.

Pros
1. 24/7 gym. Must I say more.
2. Basic gym equipment. I mean this in the most loving way. Look if you want fancy equipment in order to get big then you are doing it wrong. Stick with the basic movements and you are fine.
3. Quite and people get in and get out. That is all I am looking for anyways.

I have been going to this gym for years. Gym is 24/7 and you access it with your own pin. Feels like home. They have various contracts including day and week passes. Easy to get to, right near I-10.

No group classes, showers or childcare. Strictly weights and cross training, which I personally prefer. 3 squat racks, 3 restrooms, cables, tons of machines (pin and plate/loaded), juice bar which also sells pre-workouts and protein, free weights with plenty of benches, bar jack, bumpers and steel plates, bands, med balls, kettlebells, pre-loaded plates, stairclimbers, ellipticals, treadmills, heavy bag and so much more.

Overall not a pleasant gym experience. Many hidden fees as well as FAULTY equipment. Seriously someone can get hurt. Also pretty dingy inside. I haven’t seen any upgrades since I joined. At least take the machines that aren’t usable out so no one gets hurt!

The downside of supporting a locally owned business is not having staff on-duty and incorrect business hours to help answer questions for paying members. I haven’t stepped foot in this gym for over a year but I kept paying my monthly membership because I know times were tough over the last year. I can’t find a way to cancel, I’ve stopped by on multiple occasions to cancel to no avail. Unfortunately I think my next step is contacting the BBB.

I was visiting family here in El Paso TX. I was recommended to Carlos’ Flex Gym. The gym is an amazing place to workout. Carlos offers short term memberships, which benefited me. The gym is very clean and the staff promote a clean environment especially with the pandemic. I highly recommend this gym plus it is opened 24/7.
