I recently joined Freedom Gym 2, and I’m so glad I did! The owners, JJ and Keenan, are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The take the time to get to know everyone. They always greet you by name with a warm smile when you walk in, and they’re happy to show you how to use the equipment properly.
The gym is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully laid out, making workouts easy and enjoyable. I also love the 24-hour access and the convenience of being able to check in with my phone — no need to carry a key!
It’s clear that JJ and Keenan truly care about their members and the atmosphere they’ve created. Highly recommend Freedom Gym to anyone looking for a great place to work out!

First I would like to say I absolutely loved the freedom army family. I met some really great people and met some great motivated gym goers. With that being said on multiple occasions my treadmill would come to a sudden stop at pretty high speeds. After multiple times of this happening I spoke with the owner just to bring it to his attention as it is a hazard and wouldn’t want anyone getting hurt and a law suit to shut down my gym I loved. The response was that they had to call a guy. The treadmills were never shut down and so I assumed a fix had happened. I began running at slower speeds just as a precaution. The same problem had happened 2 more times at which point I brought it to staffs attention. I was told to speak with the owner or front desk and when I explained I had I received a similar what I can only call a brushed off response. The lack of safety and care for the members lead me to leave the gym. That equipment is a lawsuit waiting to happen as a waiver I don’t believe holds up in court when it comes to negligence. Wish the gym nothing but the best going forward and I hope these treadmills are shut down after months of this issue until a fix happens.

Insane gym love it have been going since November 2024 and I’ve forgotten stuff like my headphones at the gym and to my surprise they were there with a note saying that they were left on the treadmill people here are honest awesome people so far I have not had any problems with anything love this gym 10/10❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Owners are very nice & provided a warm welcoming! This is a warehouse gym, so NOT for those who are accustomed to commercial style gyms. They offer a plethora of equipment to suit everyone from beginners to advanced athletes. In my personal opinion, this is a gym tailored to more serious fitness enthusiasts/athletes, which is right up my alley!! - No hanging out chatting, taking up space, & being discourteous to other gym goers (if that’s what you’re looking for, go to CRUNCH or planet fitness).This WILL be my go to gym when I come to town to visit family from here on out. :-)

I’ve been a member for at least a year now and I am someone who has worked out and trained at multiple gyms along with competing in multiple sports since I was a teenager.

At best the gym is a nightclub playing the worst music imaginable, while the gym users are some of the rudest people I’ve met, has a rarely staffed front desk, and feels unclean

The music is so loud you need noise canceling headphones with your music on blast to not feel like you’ve been transported to what most would describe to be a prom play list some fraternity stole from 2015.

I’ve seen multiple patrons treating the facility like a cafeteria. They have a spot to eat but instead users will be on the weights shoving food in their face while the rest of us are left to deal with the view and smell. Their calorie intake is clearly more important than manners.

Multiple “influencers” record themselves so expect to be in the background of their shots. Don’t worry you’re not the focus so it shouldn’t matter. I’ve had another user sit on my bench that I had just cleaned so he could video the best shot of his buddies muscles.. which lead to me confronting him and barely getting an apology before I cleaned his sweaty ass stain off the bench and me leaving after

Expect to clean every machine before you use it because most won’t wipe it down. A lot of people complained about the doors being open and the heat but that never bothered me. What did was that today it smelled like the wrestling team had a 6hr practice and didn’t mop the mats. I say this while they had the door wide open with a breeze going this morning. I finished my warm up and felt like I was going to be sick from the moldy sweat and food smell.

I have a few days left on my membership but I won’t be using them.

The ladies that staff the business are kind. It just seems the owner has them sporadically there during standard hours. I tried for a few months to catch someone so I could cancel my membership before I finally emailed them multiple times to get it canceled.

I was told someone would reach out to get my input on why I’m leaving but that never happened so here it is now.

I've been a member of this gym since day one, LOVE IT! I like that there is no ac ... You get a good sweat for sure! You can buy meals, water, DRIP energy drinks as well as confections by Julie protein cookies! Tons of leg machines which is one of my favorite parts. In house personal training by SKYfit or MaddMatt and 30 min HIIT classes!

Love this gym! This gym has that old school feel to it. Big bay door open with no a/c and I love all that! I’m there to workout and burn fat..not there to be comfortable and pampered. I’m always motivated while I’m there unlike other commercial gyms. There are a lot of equipment to choose from and the place is never overcrowded, there’s always just the right amount of people there too!

It is not air conditioned so be prepared to sweat in the summertime! And I like it that way. Fantastic array of equipment, redundant copies of most machines. So there's a good chance you can get your workout done with minimal waiting. Nice culture. Everyone keeps to themselves, but they're very helpful if you ask for help.

In all seriousness, absolute top tier, world class gym with all the latest and greatest. Owners are there every day and care about the place. Gym members and trainers volunteer their time and keep the place clean and picked up. Equipment is always kept fresh and updated, if something is broken or damaged it either gets fixed quickly or removed and replaced with something better. To the untrained eye it may just appear like a warehouse full of equipment, but a lot of careful thought has been put into this wonderful place.

I was kindly trying to tell them they overcharged me. I cancelled my gym membership January 10th, the lady told me since I didn’t cancel before January I would still get charged for that month so I understood because all gym memberships need a 30 day notice. What I don’t understand is why they charged me TWICE for the month of January and again for the month of February.
When I called them and tried to explain instead of taking accountability. They tried to blame by bank and insinuated that I wasn’t telling the truth. Honestly I could care less about the money but the customer service was poor and the owner was arrogant instead of understanding
NOTE: the owners reply back is invalid. January 10th I gave your worker both my dads and brothers name and she said she couldn’t find neither my dads or my brothers . I called a 2nd time on January 10th and she only found my dads account so I thought my brother didn’t have one ? I’m just now finding out about my brothers account with your comment. But anyways I’m glad we cancelled my brothers account today too. Because you also falsely accused my boyfriends friend of stealing AirPods even though he accidentally took them and even gave them back to the owner. The next day without you knowing the context you humiliated him and kicked him out your gym. The problem here is you feel entitled to situations just because you’re the owner. Owner to owner be humble.

Great gym with almost everything you could need. Summers are a bit hot but we are not here to be comfortable either. I like the freedom to do as you will. Very old school warehouse gym feel to it.

Update!: I've learned not only is this gym a great gym but also the owner is honorable and supportive to the community. Thank you Freedom gym for caring about the wellbeing of others outside of the gym.

This is a great gym! We switched over from project fitness and don’t regret it for one second. It is a huge space with a diverse assortment of equipment, not overly crowded and we can just use our key fob to access the gym anytime. This gym is TOP NOTCH! JJ the owner is beyond accommodating and helpful!!!! My 14 year old goes every day and is always guided and helped with his powerlifting ,not only by the owners, but the members as well. I have worked out here a handful of times with my family, on a guest pass, and am so impressed by the cleanliness, professionalism, and vibes in the gym. There are people on every level of their fitness journey and they are are welcome and assisted if needed.

Changing to the Freedom Gym has been the best thing I have done for my fitness journey. You are surrounded by people who are all focused on improving themselves and still willing to help you achieve your own goals.

Even during busy periods, there is plenty of equipment to use and get your workout done. You have your typical squat racks, designated areas for deadlifting, cables, dumbbells and many other machines to incorporate into your workout. Having 24/7 access is a bonus, it definitely helps when your schedule gets hectic.

There’s a small kitchen where you can store or heat up your food. There’s a refrigerator with high-quality food that you can purchase to eat there or take with you. Dr. Sal from Hands on Physical Therapy provides physical therapy services a few times a week at the gym (I highly recommend him!). This gym is WAY MORE than your average Planet Fitness. If you’re really wanting to go all in on your fitness journey, come on in.

As a highly rated reviewer on Google, to earn five stars takes a lot. There are times you can learn more about a business before stepping foot inside by listening to others who frequent the location.

I have a coworker who has spoken highly of this gym since his first use of the facility. One of the biggest compliments he has shared is the trust between patrons. Let's face it, it is hard to leave your stuff anywhere without worrying someone will take it. But here, they like the environment of trust and respect.

So to the two boys who recently left 1 star, you wouldn't be accused of stealing and lying if you weren't caught on video of stealing and lying. And to the girlfriend...you can do better.

I respect a business who doesn't just post a bunch of signs stating they are not responsible for anything. Kudos to the owner for kicking the lying thieves out and standing up for your honest costumers.

I also respect any business who shows respect towards those who have served in the military.

I am a trainer with SkyFit at Freedom Gym and have been training there going on 2 weeks and I absolutely love it! From the moment I walked in I noticed the place was immaculate. The receptionist at the front desk greeted me immediately and signed me up in about 15 minutes & provided some details of the gym along with a nice little tour. The atmosphere of this gym is great & so far the people have all been very nice. I also had the privilege of meeting the owner JJ Durmon who was super cool & always looking to upgrade the gym whenever he can whether it be equipment, moving stuff around to be more accommodating, etc. & you can tell how passionate he is about the industry and the gym. my boyfriend and I are walking out of the gym when the owner says to my boyfriend turn your key fob in, we thought he was kidding because he didn’t do anything wrong. But the owner continued and said that it was because of yesterday, where he accidentally took someone AirPods thinking there where his, once he realized he rushed to get them back and successfully did. He wasn’t wanting his membership back just wanted the owner and people around him to know that’s not the type of person he is.

Very nice gym with well placed equipment to cater to your workout split. Nice open environment. Clean and well managed with amazing staff and an owner with a real passion for fitness and health. They have cool gym shirts for sale and even offer meals to go that cater to people wanting something healthy. Nice hang out area near the front as well with a food prep station.
