Faryn was my first ever personal trainer when I was a Junior in high school. I grew up a ballerina, and had sights on trying out for college dance teams and wanted to get conditioned. Looking back, I remember her always being SO kind. She helped a shy, self conscious 16-year-old girl who was afraid to go to the gym, be not so afraid. She showed me that lifting weights is not “just for boys.”
Fast forward 18 years later, and I still look back on those two years training with Faryn as a turning point in my health and fitness journey. She helped plant the seeds that grew into a healthy lifestyle, as well as a career path for me, as I am now also a personal trainer!

I am so ecstatic that Faryn and I found each other! I have gotten personal training done in the past with less than sub-par experiences, where I felt out of place, and did not feel great about my body. Faryn works with me at my current fitness level, and is very careful about the movements we incorporate during our appointments to make sure that I do not overextend my body's limits. She takes her time with me, and makes me feel heard + comfortable during our time together. We have been working on mobility training as well as slowly adding in strength training to make sure that my body can stay as healthy as possible as I go deeper into my 30's. I absolutely cannot recommend her enough!

I’m obsessed with Faryn! She’s been an invaluable partner for fitness, nutrition and literally anything preggo-related. The 2 hours/week I spent with Faryn in my mid-50s set me on a path toward overall health and well-being - with long-term goals. She taught me a lot. But the most important is that health is more than just biceps . Even now, at age 70, I credit my sense of balance and my energy levels to the months and years of building and maintaining core body strength. Core strength also counters the effects of age-related wear on your bones and and joints, and for me, less pain. More than all this, Faryn is a joy to work with. She's not a task-master. I started 1:1 training with Faryn when I was about 6mo postpartum. She has helped me strengthen my body and particularly my pelvic floor, and has helped me to learn/be aware of my body in a way I never have. I have gained a renewed awareness for the way I sit, breath, stand - everything! When I travel, she provides me with stretches and workouts I can do while away so I never have an excuse to miss a day to move my body. She puts her clients first and meets you where you are every session, which I especially appreciate as a working mom who shows up with varying states of energy. She is patient, communicative, kind, funny, and a general joy to be around.

We couldnt be happier that we did.
When 1st coming on Faryn set up a meeting where we could go over expectations and what we were looking for in a partnership.
Faryn listened attentively, took notes, acknowledged our requests and developed a plan with us that not only meets but exceeds what we have been looking for.
My wife and I are able to work out together and Faryn will draw up workouts that are tailored to each of our needs and still feels like we are working together.

Faryn is a firecracker and the only trainer I have ever had (and there have been a few) I never want to cancel on or don't look forward to our sessions. Why? Because while she pushes me and wants me to improve, she doesn't force anything. She makes it a good, comfortable experience and doesn't push me to breaking, but pushes me to improvement. I reached out to Faryn after several different things in my life hit at one time, I knew it was time for a change. I was looking for someone who I could easily communicate with and would not make training seem quite frankly, scary. Faryn is the epitome of what a coach should be. Faryn has transformed my life. She has taught me (and continues to teach me) how to work out properly and how to eat healthy. She emphasizes proper form, and she can communicate tweaks to form in many different ways to find a language that speaks to each individual client.
My favorite thing about working with Faryn is how dynamic and flexible she is. The first question she asks in every session is, "How is your body feeling?" And depending on the answer, she can change slightly or drastically what the workout looks like for that day to help address the immediate needs of your body, but always while keeping your overall goals in mind.
Faryn is also very open and engaging. She will talk to you about anything. If your having issues with work, she'll try to give you advice. If you're struggling mentally, she will try to inspire and encourage you. She has become my trainer, nutritionist, life coach, therapist, confidante, and friend.

I had been suffering from hip pain, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis for almost 5 years. I had been to 3-4 different doctors, and had a fascia release on my right foot that didn't heal that well, multiple steroid injections, weight gain from all of this & feeling like 80 year old in a 33 year old body. Faryn took me under her wing, poured her efforts into helping me loosen my hips/hamstrings - taught me how to properly stretch, did really in depth sessions on what to eat and held me accountable for both what I allowed myself to eat & to think about myself. She was fierce in her own way of not letting my own mind defeat me, and in the end I was able to go on a 3 mile hike, when I could barley walk around the grocery store without sweating. And the best part was, for the first time in 5 years I was able to run for 5 minute increments WITHOUT PAIN! She did what not even my Doctor, Podiatrists, surgeons, physical therapists and acupuncturists couldn't. She helped me in more than just the physical, but also the emotional and mental battles that were keeping me from being able to succeed in having a healthy lifestyle. I can't say enough good things about her, and honestly, the investment for me was totally worth it. I have had probably 6 different trainers and she has been the best in helping me literally get back on my feet in a healthy way and in a way that I allow myself to be human. If you feel like giving up, don't, she can help you, I promise.

If you're looking for a trainer in Dallas, look no further. In the many years I've been going to personal trainers, Faryn is far and away the best I've ever met. She's really really good at identifying the underlying issues that are giving you trouble - and doesn't force you to do more than your body can take.
Since I've started seeing her, I've seen a noticeable difference in my running (my feet don't hurt anymore!) and my overall strength has improved dramatically.
If you're looking for a new trainer (especially if you have some sort of on-going pain), I couldn't recommend Faryn highly enough! FIVE STARS

She makes herself available to you like a personal friend and not just your trainer. Faryn is a fantastic Personal Trainer! She worked with me for 4 months to help me get in shape (at age 68) to successfully climb & summit Mt Whitney (22miles round trip) in 1-day! She took the time to understand my fitness level, then customized a training plan uniquely suited to meet my needs, then worked with me every step of the way. We trained indoors and outdoors, on hiking trails and hills until I was ready. She provided education and encouragement every step of the way. Highly recommend!!

I worked with Faryn for several months and had really great results in such a short time. She takes time to really listen to your goals and create an individualized plan for you that will be both challenging and fun. It was great to be able to provide feedback about what was or was not working and see that reflected in my next workout. I learned so much about various fitness products/techniques that I had never tried before (i.e. Boss ball, gliding discs, resistance bands/loops, tabata) despite being a lifelong exercise enthusiast and athlete. I travel frequently for work, and Faryn even created awesome workouts for me to do on the road based on the equipment available in my hotel gyms. In addition to the actual workouts I got motivation and inspiration from her on how to improve my nutrition and also how to tweak my already pretty healthy diet to speed my metabolism even more. I highly recommend her if you're looking for an energetic, fun trainer to work with who knows her stuff and actually listens to what you want to get out of your sessions.

I absolutely love training with Faryn! She's helped me clean up my diet nutrition and supplements by educating me more in depth about what I thought was healthy. I love our workouts. I always feel super sore but in a really good way afterwards. I've definitely noticed a transformation and toning tightening and losing stubborn areas. I absolutely love training with Faryn! The program really works. Let her raid your kitchen. Let her take you grocery shopping. Get with her at least 2 to 3 times a week. Best decision ever. As a full-time working mom, large time commitments are usually hard to justify & this one is a no-brainer.

I stared working with Faryn a few months after I had my baby. She worked at a studio I frequented and I knew I needed some one on one training and she was the perfect fit! Since working with so many pregnant and postpartum mommies, Faryn knew how to properly train me and my recovering body. She was able to get me on track with my nutrition, set me up on a regular workout schedule, and within no time I started to see results!!
One of the things I appreciated the most was the ability to train with my new baby there with us!! Faryn is so friendly, kind, and understanding of my crazy schedule and we started incorporating my baby into our routine. It was such a fun way to change things up with my regular workout and get some giggles out of my little one as well. Since we were in Colorado at the time, I also loved how we took our workouts outside and went on hikes in the mountains. She is always open to finding new and creative ways to get me going and stay motivated.
If I were back in Dallas full time Faryn would still be a part of my regular routine!! We met almost two years ago, now live in different cities, and have kept up a long distance friendship. I don't think many people can say the same thing!!!

Some trainers focus on the exercises, others on the food. Faryn Schwartz focuses on her clients. I’ve seen my share of trainers and worked with a few in my almost 40 years of working out, but Faryn is the tops! She stays on top of fitness research and trends and doesn’t succumb to fads. Ladies!! Ladies!! And Gentlemen!! Faryn is such a delight to work with! I have worked with many trainers over the years but none have made me quite as excited as she did to exercise each day. She is so positive and energetic that you don't even care how hard the workout is because it just doesn't seem as bad.
I have always been into many different activities but now found myself needing an extra cardio push to progress within my sport of Roller Derby. She brought sooooo many new ideas, ones that I hadn't even thought of ( which is hard, trust me on that) that helped me stay motivated, which is half the battle right there, anyways.

I am a Dallas Fire Fighter that has been a gym rat and Crossfitter for years. I signed up to train with Faryn after having a discussion with her about nutrition and fad dieting. She had a long consultation with me about what motivates me and specific goals that I wanted for myself. I wanted to keep my strength but lose some bulk and trim down, and I admit I was skeptical that it was possible.
Faryn walked me through, in great detail, how to eat clean. She did not get me on a diet, but an entire shift on how I thought about my food and the importance of nutrition on my fitness level. She kept tabs on how much water I drank, my caffeine , and how much I would sleep. Plus, of course, we had workout sessions, which focused on proper techniques of gaining lean muscle.
Now I am off all supplements and energy drinks, but have as much energy as ever and sleep better than I have in years. I have maintained my strength; in fact, my legs are more powerful than before. The biggest noticeable difference is that my arms look cut, my leg are defined, and my belly is tight with visible muscles.
Now,My crew wants to eat healthier at the station and we do core training together. I know other Dallas fire fighters who train with her and having positive results. I cannot recommend her enough for the improvement Faryn has had on my overall health.
