The customer service is very good and everything is good but the problem over here some machine not have it for the workout and another problem. If you buy anything from him shirt or protein or anything not returning I buy a shirt from him the size is large actually my size is medium. When are you washing with warm water The shirt buy the quality not good. I talk with him he say I’m sorry if anyone you buy any shirt and you want to return that no problem but I don’t know what’s going on overheard I talk with manager also the manager super nice and the reception super nice he talk nicely, but they’re all over here is not good.

Pretty good gym setup. Could have more/better leg press machines and maintenance could be more active as several machines were broken.

Staff is really nice super welcoming to everyone! Shout out to all the ladies at the front desk. The managers and closers are really on top of it too. They stick to the policies and are always willing to help. Housekeepers on duty and Kids club is also available here!

This location lets police officers workout in uniform with full utility belt (weapons included). The short gal with dark red hair at the front desk is typically popping off very loudly about polarizing topics that don’t really make it an inviting space for all right off the bat. Just today she was loudly talking to her co-worker about how she agrees that SNAP benefits should be taken away from all because some take advantage of it. I don’t really care to know the political stances of the front desk receptionist at Gold’s… I’d like to be greeted and have the space taken care of appropriately by staff (lately the men’s locker room and shower areas have been super grimey and smelly). Today was the final straw after not having an option other than hearing very heated political rhetoric between the front desk staff (around 4:45pm on 11/26). Transferring clubs asap

I’ve had a great experience at Golds Gym’s In Austin, Texas. Recently, I spoke to a member of the staff at the Highland location. I needed some help and some information from her. Renee Was so helpful and friendly and smiled the whole time. I just wanted to say congratulations on hiring a winning staff and keep up the good work. Renée is dedicated and committed to her work and it shows. I Give Renee five stars and employ her to keep up the good work and Seek more responsibility and of course, with that comes more pay!! Love you guys!!!!

Dude with glasses needs to get checked. Wouldn’t let me use the free pass to see what I think of the facility… & then being smart about it. Nice job.
Response to dork: You didn’t even see my ID. You just automatically rejected me and wanted me to pay your stupid $15 fee. Your poor attitude will have me give business elsewhere.

I recently moved to this part of town from South Austin and started coming to this gym regularly. Transitioning to a new location can be a bit uneasy at first. You never know what the gym culture will be like or if members practice good etiquette, such as re-racking weights properly & that sort of thing.
So far, I’ve been very impressed with the overall upkeep of the staff & atmosphere of this location, particularly thanks to a staff member/trainer named Renee. She always greets me warmly and makes me feel genuinely welcome. Tonight, I was worried I might not be able to finish my post-workout intervals, but Renee reassured me that I was fine and never made me feel rushed.
I’m not usually one to post reviews, but I believe great service and professionalism such as Renee's deserve recognition & I was compelled to share my experience here so far.

I'm loving this gym so far! A lot of different equipment and not overly packed like my previous gym. Will change to 5 stars if they add a hip thrust machine. It's 2025 you should have one!

I've been going to this gym for 4 + years. They have made a lot improvements in the last year. Lena keeps up with the cleaning and it shows, you can tell when she's been out! The facility and the layout is great. You can always do crossfit, cross training, cardio and weight lifting all in one at this location.

Pros: good gym culture here, wide range of people working out and everyone is there to actually workout not socialize, spacious and lot of options, staff is nice, usually nobody hogs machines longer than 15 mins so you don’t have to wait to finish your sets like at PF
Cons: it’s crazy hot in there ~75 degrees and makes my workout feel like torture, also stinks like body odor as soon as you walk in prolly because it’s so warm and humid, and most of the machines are super old. Can’t see the weight numbers cuz most are faded off and a lot of the equipment is in desperate need of some WD-40, squeaks very loud. Easy fixes tho if management addresses

The negative reviews for this location are overblown. The gym manager, Bryan, and his staff are running a tight ship here. They've recently finished a super expansive remodel and expansion to the gym that includes a large powerlifting area. I never have to wait for a squat rack here. The gym is clean and they are quick to have equipment repaired when it breaks. 5 stars all the way

Not the best experience. The guy at the front desk working on 09/29/2025 around noon, was completely rude. I came in after having a great convo with a sales rep on the location. Just moving to Austin in the next couple weeks is already a hassle, however I wasn’t told to bring any type of local information to prove I’m moving here. Considering it’s a gym and not a tax prep or apartment I was surprised. He made me go back to my car twice to retrieve my ID, which is out of state because it takes a while to receive a new ID, then asked a bill ???
Regardless, waste of time to sit on the phone with a rep who is gassing this place up like it’s better than Equinox or Lifetime. I honestly just liked the convenience of multiple locations and I only received a free pass because of the sales rep. Other than that, now I’m not even sold on wanting to step foot in this location given the hassle. It’s a gym, at least provide better information and a bit more friendly service. Guess I’ll just decide between Lifetime and Equinox - more private, better equipment, and way more friendly staff members.
I also don’t need a generic response from anyone, I read the reviews and this gym is clearly fine with sticking up for themselves when it comes to local IDs. The issue is receiving a call from a rep, who did not state this information nor is it in the email. Regardless, of what the website says - your reps should be able to provide information and reconfirm. Especially, when I asked twice if I would need a form of ID and that mine was clearly out of state the rep confirmed it would be fine. Plenty of other gyms so it’s not an issue lol, but the response and treatment and overall experience not up too par considering it’s not the Ritz Carlton. I’ve had a past membership as well for five years in NYC and LA and have been too many in Texas. It’s simply this location.

The workers here at 5 AM are wonderful. I see them going around and cleaning/ managing/ working and doing an amazing job. If I was giving th m a rating they would receive 6 stars out of 5. Such wonderful people.
The remodel that happened a while ago was completely over sold. The newer area of the gym looks like a great space to train, but I really question the quality of the equipment. It looks great for a home gym, but after another year, I feel like it's going to not be as nice due to wear and tear of everyone using the equipment. I also don't understand how there isnt more tricep extension machines or even a hip thrust machine. The interior aesthetic is jarring. The fake brick walls surrounding the free weight section is tacky, and the green wall that mimics the OG Gold Gym is an eyesore for this space. The building has such a unique layout that can be used to create an interesting space, but it feels wrong.

Brian Perry, the General Manager, is unfit to be managing this gym. I came in eligible for a free day pass with a valid local ID, and after reading the gym’s policy showing I was in fact eligible to work out for free, he still denied me access. Instead, he called the cops, claiming I was “harassing” him, and demanded that I leave.
There was absolutely no reason to be treated this way. His behavior was unnecessary, unprofessional, and overly dramatic for someone in a management position at Gold’s.
If anyone still plans on working out here, I strongly recommend bringing a printed copy of the gym’s policy to protect yourself against this General Manager’s made-up rules.

They said that it would be less packed when the Burnet rd location opens but that’s not the case. It’s still always busy because you have to pay more to go to that gym they just opened up. It doesn’t solve the overcrowding bc most people aren’t gonna pay more to go a different golds gym when we already have a membership…it should be already paid for.
There’s also only 2 leg extensions 😂😂😂it’s like they want you to pay more just to go to the other gym. WHY is there only 2 leg extensions when there should be an entire row of them. T
There’s about 15 power racks and only 2 leg extensions. 🤡 very odd choices of inventory

Good facility and experience overall, however is it possible to either replace the treadmills or find a way to have more than 50% of them operating? I think there are only 22 to begin with and 50% of them are out of order every time which is extremely frustrating. Just got back from my hometown and even my hometown gym has like 40-50 brand new treadmills and not a single one is out of order. Please put a focus on getting more treadmills please! Thank you.

Been to every Gold's in the area. This one has a decent layout, pretty cool design in places, and a satisfactory number of machines. Certain machines (eg leg extension) there are limited quantities of which can be annoying, but there are always alternative exercises one can do worst case scenario.
While that doesn't sound so glowing, the training session i had with William was phenomenal. Also had a free dexa scan which was illuminating. Even as a relatively advanced lifter of 7 years, he was telling me things I didnt know especially to avoid further injury and strengthen lifts. He used time so efficiently, helped clarify what fitness goals I have and steps I should take to get there. Highly recommend him.
There are also many friendly gym goers here, comparatively. Saw many people either offering to spot others or save them from failed reps, which is always important to have.

Be sure to bring your lease with you when you
redeem your “free day pass” or be charged half a months dues. Gym looked fine. Just tired of dealing with corporate greed.
EDIT 07/17: Following up to note a few things here.
1. I absolutely was not able to use the pass, despite the reply to this review. This was the most frustrating part of the experience, the lack of human judgment in sales/service. I worked in sales for six years. It's so wild to see someone not do anything but follow procedure. No judgement at all. I offered other ways of showing I moved there and was looking for a new home gym. I understand the procedure, I just think it's worth 2 stars. Low effort protocol. Might as well not even have a human at the door.
2. While the website does list that government/legal proof of local residence is required, it might be nice if a quick reminder was given on the email they send. I've attached it here. If they can take the time to code it to include my first name, a few bullet points about what will be required to enter would make sense to me... it would also be a quick fix that I'm sure would stop a lot of people like me from paying an inconvenient day pass fee. Something tells me that's not an oversight. I just think it's a 2 star practice.

Renovated several months ago, and this is one of the best spots to workout at. Clean facility with a great General Manager (Brian), and an especially top notch Assistant GM (Mike), with a great professional staff that is warm and welcoming to the gym members.
I would know, as I’m a former staff member of the Gold’s Gym on 6th Street (2022 & 2023 to early 2024), and witnessed the complete difference (which was so needed) that Mike (who was the GM there for a couple years) brought to that Gold’s Gym. The previous GM and staff, had no standards set, some the front desk personnel would let certain members workout in the gym after operation hours, some trainers didn’t fulfill the workout plans that they promised their clients, some employees just showed up to get paid, screwed up the parking situation for both members and the Gold’s organization, and did little to nothing but complain, bicker and gossip about who was sleeping with who. Mike cleaned all of that garbage up, expeditiously.
So when the GM of Highland (Brian) brought Mike aboard his team as the Assistant GM, I was ecstatic. Mike was the piece they needed to add, in order to help support the great staff they already have, and help Highland become leagues above what it was in previous years, prior to Brian and Mike teaming up.
The atmosphere and energy of Gold’s on Highland is inspirational and beautiful to see. The GMs bring an air of respect, care and authenticity, that compliments the legacy and standards of Gold’s Gym, and its members.
Whether you’re an Austinite, or a visitor looking for a great spot to do your workout at, this is the place. Gold's Gym Highland....Five stars! And highly recommended.

This gym is a mess. I left Texas and now where I live, they don’t have a location, so I’ve been trying to cancel my one-year membership because I no longer live there, and it’s been total chaos. It’s like trying to break a contract for a house, but it’s not even that complicated. With a house, you just pay the penalty and that’s it, but here they don’t give you any options, they don’t help, and they respond only when they feel like it, yet they’re constantly trying to charge you. They ask for proof, which I’ve already sent, but for them it’s not enough. So now I have to bring it to them in person, either at my house or work, to show them that I no longer live there and that I have ID from another state where they don’t even have a location. I don’t recommend it at all. Plus, it’s so crowded that there’s barely any space to use the machines. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

The staff is friendly but this gym is unbelievably crowded. Lines to get onto stations. Can barely even move around. The only solution is to go in at 6 am.
Edit: Weird... all the other reviews get comments from mngmt... Except mine.
Also fix the broken cable machines. And get more of them. It is the equipment everyone uses. Not the entire floor of ellipticals that no one uses.

I have been coming to this gym for a few years now and am disappointed with the overcrowding. I’ve read the manager’s replies to other reviews talking about this issue, and the reply is that they are opening a gym on Burnet road soon and that should help with the overcrowding, which is a frustrating reply. I don’t think opening another location that is kind of relatively close to this one will solve the overcrowding issue. I understand the business practice of wanting to have as many memberships as possible, but it takes away from the value of the gym when it is constantly completely overcrowded. Often times, it is so overcrowded that there is not even a single open spot in their entire parking lot. To me, at least for right now, this gym is not worth having a membership at. However, staff are very friendly and the equipment and facilities they have are nice when you are able to use them.

Thank goodness Carlos is at this gym! I have followed him from 24 hr and will wherever he goes. Seems he’s the only one concerned with gym etiquette and cleanliness! He calls out BS when others are too cowardly to do so. Hate a gym that others treat as if it’s not publicly shared! Put on your damn shoes…gross….unrack! It’s not my job to clean up your mess and weights. Thank you Los for standing up for the ones who care about our gym! You do an amazing job keep doing it when others are too weak to. The gym is nice and the extension they finalized in the front of the gym provided much needed space (even though it has zero airflow and is always incredibly hotter than the rest of the gym, and has no mirrors). My qualms with this gym: treadmills are always broken. Right now out of about 20 I would say more than half are broken. I was walking on one of them and it randomly shut off during it, luckily I wasn’t running. Additionally - it’s always crowded. If you are an early riser, expect the gym to be packed (like full parking lot) as late as 6 AM. It’s wild. Even with all the space this place feels like it’s bursting at the seams.

If you’re thinking about joining this gym, be prepared to be trapped. They lure you in without making you sign an unfair contract, but once you’re a member, any issue you raise will be met with “It’s in the contract” as their only response. Canceling is a nightmare—they make it as difficult as possible with hidden fees, endless restrictions, and unhelpful staff. The policies seem deliberately designed to squeeze as much money out of you as they can. Customer service is non-existent once they’ve got your payment. Stay away unless you enjoy unnecessary headaches and unfair charges.

I hope I can give more stars in the future. I only use this gym because two locations up north in Austin have closed. I don't think they're going to make any new locations anytime soon. This gym is way too small and crowded. I understand they're remodeling. I'm not currently impressed but I hope they keep on improving. On a side note. I was wondering if I could request personal records that they could print out for me. So that it has when I started and at what time and day I did personal training with a trainer. I'm wondering if that's possible. To get physical personal records. Because I'm assuming Gold's Gym keeps that stuff. I go to different gyms sometimes so do I have to go to that particular gym or does one gym carry all the information. Thanks if the general manager knows and responds to this. The gym does smell really bad but for the most part people are friendly and considerate. I'm not really a fan of the new layout. Also the customer service could use some empathy. I get there a lot of people who are rude but even so it's important to remain professional and compassionate towards everyone

The gym is clean and nice. I’m rating it 3 stars because it’s unusable half of the day. If you arrive and the parking lot is packed, just go home. No machines open, people just standing around waiting to lift.
If they end up expanding, changing class rooms to more weightlifting areas, etc.. I will rate 5 stars. My membership fees have increased substantially over the past two years, and my user experience in gym has declined.

I have loved this gym for many years, but over the last 4 or so months they have not repaired the women's sauna and it is incredibly frustrating. We are paying for the same membership but without the amenities advertised -- and worse, the men's sauna is functional so now this is a second class gym membership if you use the women's locker room. I know that facilities need repairs, but they don't seem to care enough to get this fixed and it's been long enough that I'm beginning to doubt they ever will. Very disappointed, will likely change my membership do a different gym with more functional facilities.

I’ve been using different Gold’s Gyms around Austin since moving here 5 years ago and have typically been very pleased. However, I’ve been at this location for the last year or so, and I’m getting really frustrated. The sauna in the women’s locker room has been “Down for Repairs” for four months. Each time I come in, I hope those repairs have happened and unfortunately they still haven’t, meanwhile the men’s sauna is working fine. It’s pretty frustrating to come in and wait 20 minutes to use a stair master, because half of them aren’t working, to then see again that the sauna is still down.
I’ve been loyal to Gold’s Gym since moving to Austin, but If it isn’t fixed by the end of the month I’ll definitely be looking elsewhere.

Had a terrible customer service experience with the manager, Brian Perry. He was incredibly short and rude with me to the point that I just decided to leave all together because it was ridiculous that this was how he decided to interact with a new comer to the gym. I will be taking my business elsewhere since this seems to be a common theme at this gym.
Edit:
Brian! I am so glad you took the time to respond, I see that your memory serves you well. While I understand the mistake was on my end I do believe how you chose to not only carry yourself as a representative of gold’s corporate but also the tone and demeanor you elect to use when correcting customers on their own discrepancies could be improved. I left because I found nothing productive in interacting with someone who thinks I’m beneath them after the first 10 seconds of meeting them. Seeing from the reviews that I am not the only one who seems to have noticed this pattern of behavior I would implore you to take this new year as a way to self reflect on how you work within the customer service space. I do appreciate the opportunity to explore gold gym’s workout space but having read on the less than stellar business practices of the company I believe that there are better, more practical places I should engage my business in. I hope you have a good rest of your week and find inner peace in 2025! Peace and Love to you B man <3

Been recently going to the gym and it’s been ok, I’m on the fence about staying.
I’ve been reading the reviews because I’m wondering if people feel the same way about the management and establishment as a whole.
But then today, I saw the GM Brian raise his voice at a customer when they tried to ask him a question about at the gym. Watching the GM practically bark at this poor customer, it was very off putting that the GM would even speak to someone like that, let alone a customer. I overheard a bit and the customer wasn’t even trying to start a fight it was all unnecessary agression coming from the GM. Needless to say, seeing that interaction alone solidified my decision to find a new gym!

My husband has been a member of Gold’s for 4 years. Last week, my family and I had the absolute worst experience using the kids club for the first time, which resulted in my husband and me canceling our memberships for good.
I’d like to say this had nothing to do with the kids club itself and everything to do with the GM, Brian Perry’s ridiculous behavior. As we were leaving, Brian felt the need to have one of his employees hand my husband her personal cell phone so he could listen to him try to reprimand him for signing our child out at 1:05 rather than 1:00. Yes, literally 5 minutes.
My husband listened to as much of that as he could before handing the phone back to her. The next thing we know, he’s walking up to my husband to now harass him in person in front of his employees and my family. His explanation for his sudden appearance was to “make sure we’re clear on the rules.” Brian was actually in my husband’s face attempting to intimidate him to, in his words, “make sure we’re good.”
We feel sorry for anyone that has to work with this man. On the way home, my husband and I both received an email from Brian. Rather than maybe apologizing for his erratic behavior, the email was asking both of us if we’d like to cancel our memberships. Least to say, we will be doing so.
This was the most unprofessional and embarrassing experience we have ever had. We will not spend another dollar here ever again.

This facility spent so much money on the gym remodeling but ignored the lockerroom and shower area. Showers have black mold, shower heads often don't work, hot water goes out all the time, water pressure is off. I would have thought the lockerroom would have been on a refresh list even for the basics.

Beautiful gym. It is very spacious and I love how unique the different rooms are. It feels like a much safer environment than gyms I’ve been to in the past, everyone seems to actually be there to workout.. not to watch each other or hit on people. Very clean throughout, including the locker rooms. Worth every penny!

This is solely based on customer service. I am new to Austin and trying to find a gym and Golds Gym advertised a free day pass. Corey from Golds contacted me, I told him I am from out of town, and he said come on in for the free pass. When I arrived, the gentleman at the front desk was rude and charged me 15$ because I am from out of town. I tried to show him my text from Corey and he would not even look at it. Like most people, I like to try the gym before I get a membership.

New Matrix bench press, incline, and shoulder press machines were a bad choice. The swiveling rack is basically useless and dangerous, as a bar with 225+ pounds can bounce clean off the pins if not racked gently. They also all have spotters platforms at terrible angles...it is basically impossible to help the lifter in any real way b/c they will be too far in front of the spotter.
Please bring back one or two of the platforms or get a refund on these and buy something that actually makes sense.

Same as what Rebecca's said below. The place is undergoing a remodel and there is a lot less space because of it. While the remodel is a temporary pain in the butt, the fact that you can't freeze your membership while renovations are happening without a monetary penalty is upsetting. If you're looking for a new gym, I'd do another one until this one is completed.

I was a member since 1997 but this particular location is undergoing a remodel and painted the class exercise room (and the rest to come) BLACK. It literally feels 50% smaller, totally depressing and like you’re working out in a tomb. I don’t know what they were thinking but working out is hard enough - I don’t need to be depressed as well. It’s a shame because the location is beautiful inside and it could be really nice and airy.

(08.05.2024) Hey Everyone, I hardly leave reviews because I don’t really care for them due to always giving an establishment the benefit of the doubt but I am honestly tired and annoyed with the high monthly rates for a membership that isn’t up to par with how much gyms charge. Let me further elaborate my frustration with everyone so hopefully you won’t commit the same mistake as I. First, this gym is severely packed early morning (05A-08A) and even after work as well (04P-07P); genuinely hard to get in a great workout without minimal hovering around awaiting equipment. Secondly, the men’s restroom appear to have an on going issue with some patrons not knowing basic human decency/house etiquette and properly flushing the toilets without making a severe mess. Lastly, which is my breaking point as of today is there constant hot water on all water fountains and the water bottle fountain stations. Everywhere in this establishment the waters continuously poor out hot water. Not sure what is different today but today the water actually felt like hot shower water. I was told the issue would resolve itself within a few minutes to give it time to cool off but this water issue has been constant at this location. Literally. Same thing. Overall dissatisfied with how much I am paying for this gym and it’s not even worth it.

I have been a member of this gym for 5 years and have generally had a positive experience. However, one area where they fall short is in communicating about membership cancellations. It is crucial to ensure that you speak to a knowledgeable manager or staff member before signing up to understand the cancellation process. It is also important to request documentation of your cancellation to avoid any issues.
Unfortunately, there is a lack of support to address any fees or problems that may arise with cancellations, so it is essential to communicate with management directly. I personally did not receive accurate information about my membership cancellation, so I advise others to be cautious and proactive in this regard.

I’ve been a member of Gold’s since 2006. In the last few years, its quality has significant declined. This particularly location SUCKS. The AC is bad. Who wants to work out in a warm indoor gym? The water from one water fountain is warm, so always a long line by the ONE other water fountain. The showers water pressure is CRAP. And NOT NEARLY ENOUGH equipment to accommodate the crowds. One of the essential machines within the gym has not been operational for over a month. To my knowledge, there has yet to be a communicated plan for its repair or replacement. The continuity of such a situation not only impacts our training routines but also raises concerns regarding the gym’s commitment to ensuring the availability and reliability of its facilities. We, as members, deeply value the standards of service and the quality of equipment provided, as these aspects are integral to our fitness journey and overall satisfaction with Gold’s

This gym is the most overcrowded commercial gym in Austin. It is always busy at most hours of the day, it’s unusable for most people. Walking into this gym theres a high chance you won’t be able to use free weights, limited access to adjustable benches, and machines that have 2 people already waiting for them. Don’t come to this gym expecting to workout with available benches/machines/weights you need. Unfortunately it’s been this way for far too long and they haven’t fixed it yet. Giving my feedback in hopes that they take actionable measures to tackle this problem.

BROKE GYM! JOIN WITH CAUTION.
Everything about this location is broke. The machines are broken many times. The sauna is broken many times. It is consistently overcrowded. I went there today and the electricity was off. How is the electricity off but there is music playing in the front?
I would've expected an email from Gold's to notify members that the gym was closed but instead there was a tattered piece of paper on the front door with a handwritten note of closure.
I've been to Gold's Gym locations across the nation and this location is the worst. If you're in Austin choose another location. It's for your own good.

Really poor. They closed not one, but two gyms in north austin, so a lot of those folks ended up flooding to this gym. It was really hard to get on any machines. Maybe at lunch time if I was lucky I could get on what I wanted.
I also just moved, and asked the front desk how to cancel my membership. They told me to send an email a week or so before I want to stop going, and that's it. Well, that's not true. They will still charge you for another billing cycle after you cancel. I emailed them to tell them I was told misinformation. Their response was that, "we cannot verify your verbal conversation", and that I should have read the paper contract that I was given years before. Additionally they charged me $30 when I changed my credit card earlier and forgot to tell them. They have really poor customer service, and they lost my business when I return to Austin.
UPDATED: 4 MONTHS LATER:
Their awfulness continues! They charged me a fee for just contesting the charge, then they sent a collection agency against me. In the end I had to pay $100 more for absolutely nothing! I told the guy on the phone "helping me" that he needs to quit that company, because if this is how they treat their customers they must treat their employees bad too. He didn't disagree.

Good selection of equipment and cleaner than the 24hr fitness nearby.
However this location is overcrowded to the point of there being no parking after 4, and all equipment being used. Machines have broken and taken weeks to get fixed or replaced.
Probably standard policy but they also require 30 days notice for some reason — which after being there for years seems more like a way to maximize revenue than anything— it’s not like an apartment complex where they need to clean a space and fill your spot.
I’d recommend if nothing else is close and if you workout early in the day. Just remember if you move gyms to tell them 30 days in advance.

Wasted space and too damn crowded. One of the worst golds gyms in Austin. I’ve never been to a more crowded gym and I usually go around 5pm during the rush but this place was ridiculous.
You will definitely be fighting for weights, a bench to sit on, or a spot to stand in, quite possibly like me all three. I ended up leaving before I even got a third of the way through my work out because I couldn’t get to any equipment that I needed to use and I had to keep stopping people from stealing the broken bench that I was using. They only have one cable machine at this location and the entire upstairs full of ellipticals that no one uses even though there’s a big section of them downstairs as well. I swear they only have one set of dumbbells, eat that the only things available for 55lbs and up. The parking lot is so crowded that people park across the street at the hotel just to come inside. It’s even more crowded once you get in.
This was by far my least favorite location here in Austin. I will not be coming back. If you’re new to the gym go to a different location because this is not a friendly gym for new people. You will not have a chance to try out anything if you don’t know what you’re doing and if you do know what you’re doing, you probably won’t still won’t have a chance to use any of the equipment you want. And the lockers are shaped weird. I will not be coming back to this location. I actually hated it here and if I could give it negative stars, I would
