This used to be my "go-to" Golds in the ATX Metro but lately things have gone downhill. Equipment maintenance is lagging. The lone ab machine has been out of order for almost 2 months. Cleanliness has declined, especially in the Men's locker room. I used to love this Golds.I sure hope things get back to normal. 🤞🏼🤞🏼

1 day free trial pass to see if you like the gym?!! Crazy, guess they’re not trying to bring in new members. I’ll get a better trial somewhere else. Also first impression was “is this a club”..turn the damn music down. Everyone listens to their headphones, HELLO

I want to be very clear, my 5 star rating is for one reason, Harrison. I’ve been working with Harrison for over a year and some change. He has helped sculpt my booty and strengthen my body so I can do life more comfortably. Not only is he brilliant but we have fun while working out. You won’t regret buying sessions with him.
The gym itself is lovely, and I’ve always had a good experience. I wish there was child care so that I might be able to carve more time for myself there. Also, would love an infrared sauna. ☺️

This is my favorite Gold’s location in Austin. Sometimes is too busy and there’s always a machine/equipment they could have more or better, but that’s to be expected on a commercial gym.
What makes this location stand out is its outstanding staff. From the GM, Moses, to the cleaning staff, such as Luis, they’re always welcoming, friendly and open to help or solve questions.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this Gold’s Gym location. I came in with a free guest pass to try the gym before joining, since it’s close to my school, but I was treated so poorly that I won’t be coming back.
When I walked in, I said good morning to the guy at the front desk (who I later found out is a manager), and he completely ignored it. From the start, his attitude was rude and unprofessional. Even though I had already signed up for the guest pass online, he made me fill it out two more times. He kept asking for my address and other information that I had already provided twice, online and in person again on their iPads, but he still made me repeat it all over again to him.
For a second I thought he wasn't going to let me workout there, because he told me I should go to a Gold’s Gym closer to my house—which is ridiculous. I guess picking the location that works best for me is no longer allowed? Instead of being helpful, he kept talking in a low, annoyed tone and made the whole check-in process way harder than it needed to be.
I don't know if he was having a bad day—there’s no excuse for mistreating people, especially if you’re a manager and supposed to represent the gym. I walked in planning to sign up for a membership, and I walked out knowing I’ll never spend a dollar at this location.
I’m a laid-back person, but I won’t tolerate being disrespected for no reason.
To the manager: if you’re reading this, you seriously need to work on how you treat people. This was a terrible first impression and a complete waste of my time.

Karim Radwan has been my trainer for almost a year. Today I have officially lost 125lbs and he has helped me significantly tone and get stronger. I started training with him at another gym and followed him when he got a promotion to Gold’s Gym. He has pushed me, taught me, and most importantly empowered me to be confident to work out on my own, as well. He communicates what we are working on big picture and always has a modification ready for each move. I highly recommend him.

I want to share my experience as a long-time member of this gym. There is a male member who repeatedly engages in inappropriate behavior — including rubbing his genitals on equipment and weights, getting uncomfortably close to women while they work out, and making unwanted advances (such as asking for my number and to “hang out”).
I, along with other women, have reported this behavior to management on multiple occasions. Despite our complaints, this individual is still allowed to come to the gym. As a woman, this makes me feel unsafe and extremely uncomfortable every time I try to work out here.
What’s worse is that when I expressed how uncomfortable I was after seeing him there again, the general manager actually got upset with me instead of addressing the problem.
It is very disappointing that the management has not taken stronger action to protect their members. A gym should be a safe and respectful environment for everyone, and unfortunately, that has not been my experience here. Now I’m left having to decide whether to cancel my membership altogether or travel farther every day just to work out somewhere I feel safe — and even then, I’m forced to be on guard and try to avoid him.

UPDATED 15AUG25: moved to 1 star. Tired of coming to this gym to see the same few people freely walk around the ENTIRE gym in their socks, including bathroom, to not have any of their staff make the correction. What's the point of having a REQUIRED closed shoe policy? I understand if you wear socks while squatting but it something completely different to just walk around the gym for the entire workout in their socks. The gym needs to have the staff, including personal trainers, enforce these simple policies.

Me, my girlfriend and her friends have been going to this gym for a long time, Over the past 2 years there has been a man who consistently follows them around and blatantly begins touching himself inappropriately. He not only touches himself, but rubs himself on gym equipment and machines while standing 2-3 feet from them. He does this with them, amongst many other female members of the gym. My girlfriend and her friends have voiced this to management numerous times, and they have done nothing about it. They even went as far as to take a picture of the man doing it for proof, and management responded by writing her up for "taking pictures of other gym members without their consent." Since management is refusing to respond to this issue, all we can do is warn others and try and get this issue up to corporate so they can intervene. DO NOT sign up for this gym, especially if you are a female.

MKG! - My kinda gym. Clean, great equipment, members are respectful of each other and all working towards the same goal - being the best, strongest version of ourselves. The team members are next level. From the front desk to the general manager. Personable, relatable and friendly. Personal trainers had a strong presence on the floor. When I’m in Austin, Gold’s Slaughter / South Congress is one of my favorites!

I would say this quality of this gym has gone down tremendously. They lack maintenance, cleanliness and quality. I finally decided to switch gyms and get out of this one. These photos are about a month apart and yet nothing is fixed. The men’s sauna has been broken for over a month as well. Glad to leave this place !

Once again I've shown up and the gym isn't open. Waited for 45 minutes and no employee came to open the gym. This has happened dozens of times at this gym. If I could give zero stars, I would. Gold’s Gym has been nothing but a headache from start to finish. Their app is absolutely terrible—you can't even update your payment method. After my card was stolen, I tried to update my info, only to find out that their system won’t let you, so they continued charging me.
I called customer service to explain the situation and request a refund for the extra charge. The experience was awful—from the unhelpful staff at the actual gym to the rude and dismissive corporate support. Nobody seemed to care, and instead of helping, they made things more difficult. I finally asked to cancel my membership, and they had the nerve to try to charge me for another month because of their 30 day policy its literally 12 hours after. Also, the excuse from the GM Moses if I do it for you I have to do it for everyone. Not everyone is in the same situation I went through, no empathy! Complete scam.
The gym itself is a mess. Machines are constantly out of order—only 3 out of the 5 StairMasters work (on a good day), and at least half of the leg machines are always broken. You’re paying for equipment that’s barely usable and a support system that doesn’t exist.
Do yourself a favor—don’t waste your money or your time here. There are better gyms out there that actually maintain their equipment and treat their members with respect.

Nice gym, great staff but dont understand why one of the front desk (claudia) has to be pushing and questioning me for not wanting to download the app of the gym and suggesting that is an issue/bother for her to do it manually.
She even said that others wont let me get into the gym or at other locations..
..when she is the only staff member actually being an obstacle. No other staff member in any other golds has said anything.
Is uncomfortable but not big deal
update:
my issue is not the app but the way the front desk stuff is approaching me saying that I will be in trouble If I do don’t do what they say instead of actually looking for a solution or help. My problem is not not being able to have the app by the way the stuff is approaching me as if I’m my worker in this place.
update 2:
carlos at front desk brought up solutions to solve my barcode issue in a very kind and helpful way which is great. That is what I would expect from staff, be of service more than “warning” their members for not being able to have the app

Incredibly loud. Can’t hear my trainer standing 2 ft away. Can’t hear my own music even with noise cancelling earphones. Management says that regional (?) manager wants it loud. N no clue why. I only go to see my trainer otherwise I drive 20 min to the next closest gym. Please turn it down. You’ll notice 99% people wearing headphones is so loud. And the music choice is bizarre.
Edit: I just read a bunch of reviews about the music and nothing has changed over the last year. Same crap and no, it has not played other gym in the area. I typically go to William Cannon and then out here completely different. And the volume is still absurd loud so y’all really don’t seem to give a shit about the feedback as soon as my sessions are up with my trainer I’ll find them at the gym that’s quieter so I can actually hear him and not leave with a headache

I love this gym! It is very clean--it's kind of a miracle how clean the locker rooms are (at least the women's) I never see paper towels on the floor or icky showers. The main floor is clean, well lit, approachable. The best thing though is the staff--I love the trainers they have and I love that the trainers teach classes. I have gotten to know so many of them as class instructors and it's so nice just to see them around the gym cheering you on. I really like the studio membership upgrade with the Gold's Burn and Gold's Fit classes. Burn is a 50/50 cardio and weights class and Fit is a CrossFit style class (without barbells). I love the burn class, the energy, the people, the trainers, the workouts. Honestly I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying this gym. I've been going consistently for over a year now and I've never had that kind of streak with any other exercise plan before. It just feels like everyone is rooting for my success instead of the competition/showing off I've seen at other gyms.

Wow, I feel sick having walked in to this gym. I just returned to Golds after past memberships in Bee Cave and the YMCA. This is so close to my home but I can’t pay a business for services when it lacks a basic commitment to cleanliness. These photos were taken at 9:30 pm in the men’s locker room. Two employees working from what I could see. Cancelling tomorrow.

The “no bag” policy only seems to apply if you’re a woman. I watch men and staff walk around with LARGE bags 24/7. Contrary to Moses’ response, men and staff carry around giant bags around the gym daily, i clocked 4 just today. I got a “talking to” by a staff member several weeks ago but never see any of these men being confronted about it. Additionally, if you like to hip thrust this is not the gold’s for you. None of the boxes are low enough for optimal position, even for me and im 5’8 so it’s not possible to lift heavy. The benches are not in a convenient spot for getting them to the platforms either so im frequently forced to use the bench press fixed benches.

No one wants to hear your lame 90s house music playlist, which is ABSOLUTELY BLASTING. I have anc and my music blasting and still hear this lame techno.
99% of people have head phones and I don't care what kind of Globo gym "vibe" you guys are going for.
Thinking about Concourse Project or Summit this Saturday?
Think again, load up on your glow sticks and red bulls and come here on a Tuesday at 5:30 am for Armin Van Buuren's greatest hits so LOUD you wonder if this a gym or a testing ground for Guantanmo Bay.
Throw in only one pek dek, no weighted chain belt, incredibly packed during peak hours, and a waste of massive amount of space. Out of all the golds this is by far the worst.
In response to the manager: It's not the actual music/playlist but the VOLUME. Take notes from downtown or Ben white, music is too loud.

I love this gym. My favorite is the out door area. This gym tends to be super busy post work hours during the week but its nice to not have as many people outside because its still scorching hot outside. Moses, the gym keeps this gym well running during the week with all cleaning stations stocked.
I do think they have room to improve on the weekends because i do high intensity workouts with low rest, but i want to do my part and quickly wipe down machines as i do sweat a lot too. On weekends i frequently find going to the nearest station and spray bottles are out and/or paper towels are out and i say to myself “of course, why wouldn’t this be out?” And its frustrating because i have to take extra time to go to another station, and its super frustrating when the second station is out as well.. has happened a few times now.
I get it with shortstaff housekeeping on weekends or whatnot but as former agm of the Belterra location i’d make sure our front desk would take a quick 5 min to stock stations while keeping an eye on the front desk, as there would be slow times after the morning rush on weekends…it is an open floorplan so wouldn’t be hard to see customers that needed assistance. Especially when there is overlap at front desk with two employees. Unless something has drastically changed with upper management and only housekeeping can restock or something, then i don’t see why this continues to be an area with need for improvement.
Lastly, as former employee i’d always say hi and bye to customers leaving. Even if they had their headphones in, even if they don’t acknowledge me back, even if i’m chatting with another employee.. id pause the conversation say hi or bye and carry on.. So i’d like to shoutout the few employees here who do this. Especially upon exit.. It is a small gesture but makes a world of difference in how you perceive the customer service. So great job to those of you at the front desk who do this, you know who you are!
At the end of the day though this is a 5 star gym and deserves a 5 star review. Great job

ATTENTION SOUTH AUSTIN: Crunch fitness charges less and gives way more!! They are opening location in Kyle this October! Can’t wait!
I pay more $$ at golds, for less amenities/perks, at this gym than any gym I’ve ever been a part of. I pay $40 for a month to month membership. Crunch charges $26, and they give you towels. At Golds, I once asked the front desk for a towel, and they told me that I have to pay extra for “towel service.” For $26 a month at crunch, I get unlimited guest passes to bring a friend. At Golds, I was told when I signed up that I could bring a guest once every 6 months. I brought a guest, and he was told the next time he came he has to pay $15. I asked if I bring him again in 6 months (since I’m supposed to get 1 guest pass every 6 months) if he would have to pay, and I was told yes. I can only bring a different guest once every 6 months. This gym is not nice enough to be that exclusive. They don’t even give you towels unless you pay extra lol. Also for $14 less/month, I get tanning and red light therapy at crunch. I cannot WAIT for the kyle location to open so I can leave this overpriced lame gym behind!

Then they will say you can’t dispute it in house and to call the phone number they provide and then guess what. The numbers not in service! Great gym but it is so obnoxious to not be able to bring my gym bag. I’ve literally changed my workout routine to cut down on what I need to bring in, but I am always forgetting something and risking having my stuff stolen because they don’t allow me to bring all my gear. I’m not asking to bring a duffel bag, just my backpack that I’ve used for years at 24h fitness, Fitness Connection, ABP, and Gold’s before they got bought out by a German private equity firm. They say it’s about safety/crowdedness, but it’s not, it’s about theft (maximizing the PE firm’s profits) which is why they allow drawstring bags (harder to take plates/dumbbells I assume). I understand that’s an issue, but you would think a gym which markets itself to “serious lifters” would allow a gym bag like all of their competitors. Other than that, great gym, but it’s a big one.

I have been coming to this location for about 2 years. It’s definitely a busy location, but with proper migration it’s not bad. Staff are always nice and gyms goers are nice as well. Only reason for 4 starts is the music, it’s not really good and can be really loud at times.
Reasons why it should be 5 stars. The staff allowed me to use my free personal training session after 2 years and I had the pleaser of working with Leidy for more paid sessions. Leidy is great! She’s patient, informative, and still very friendly with me now that I’m no longer having personal training. If she sees me around she checks in on my progress and offers helps when I don’t know how to do a workout. 10/10 would recommend Leidy for PT lessons.

My complaints have nothing to do with the quality of the gym itself and everything to do with the shady practices and downright negligent manner in which they handle membership agreements. IF YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP HERE, BEWARE OF THEM CHANGING YOUR MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT FOR NO REASON AND WITH ZERO NOTICE.
In Aug 2023 I signed up for a month-to-month(MTM) membership online after visiting the gym as a guest. The pricing was $39.99/month for the MTM membership and $34.99/month for the 12 month obligation.
After sending my 30 day cancellation notice in January to cancel my membership in February, they still continued charging my credit card for monthly membership fees.
After disputing this with management, they stated my membership agreement was a 12 month obligation. This confused me as I had signed up for the MTM membership at the higher rate knowing I would cancel the membership to go back to my original gym after some construction & upgrades were completed.
However, the management team insisted I contact customer support for further dispute. After contacting customer service, they insisted I was on a 12 month obligation agreement and claimed the rate for the 12 month obligation was $39.99 when I signed up in August 2023. When I asked for customer service to provide proof of the rates at that time, no response was ever sent to me. It has been a full month since I requested that information and I have reached out again on that same email thread each week requesting an update.
After blocking all Gold’s Gym charges from my credit card, they still have the audacity to send me automated emails and calls regarding a balance I do not owe. Maybe posting this review will finally get them to read my emails and provide the information I requested over a month ago. Or maybe they just don’t care.

Equipment from what I use is clean and rarely broken. One thing that is annoying is overly loud music. Most folks have headphones on and it's hard to hear ear buds with music so loud. Like even if one didn't have earbuds or earphones....turn in down a bit. Almost rating 3 stars purely for the overloud music

Been going to this gym for two years and it’s been great until recently. Apparently the owner wants the gym to be like a CrossFit gym and is blasting the music at full volume. Even with my headphones all the way up I can’t drown out whatever music they’re deciding to play. About ready to go back to the golds on Ben white just to avoid the obnoxious music.

I’ve been going to this gym for about a year now and it’s the best Golds in Austin. It’s the cleanest the and most up-kept in my opinion. The cleaning guys are always there and the are wipe stations everywhere which is really nice. The staff are super friendly, never had any problems with them and unless they are with a customer they always say have a good workout and bye when you leave. They are down to make conversation if you talk to them. Very down to earth and friendly people. The only this is I wish the cinema room like some of the other Golds lol.

They don't have enough machines inside. My workouts constantly have to change in the moment. There is one fly machine and one hip abduction/adduction machine in the entire building. They wasted half the building on seperate rooms that no one is ever in. I would not come here if it wasn't the closest gym to me.

I've been going to this Gold's location for about 10 months and now go solely for the classes. All the instructors I've had are pretty good but Dustin's classes are the best. Whether he has 2 people in there or 20 he bring the same level of energy, pays attention to everyone and helps adapt the exercises to each individual's needs if necessary. He also ensures everyone's form is correct and pushes you to hit your max potential. I recommend trying out Gold's classes at this location as they are the best thing about this gym in my opinion.

Even at 5am the front desk is very nice and courteous. This location has a ton of space, plenty of equipment, even an outdoor area with more equipment, and a very nice locker room. Only weird things about this location is that it's ambiguous on if you're allowed in the Gold's Cycle room when there are no classes (that's where the nice stationary bikes are) and that they're focused on using less paper in the locker rooms. If you have to blow your nose in the cooler mornings, you can't find a tissue if the stalls are occupied and the one paper towel dispenser is out. Other than that, I've been pretty happy with the equipment here! It's also in a fantastic location, right around HEB and a handful of restaurants to enjoy after a good workout.

The gym was useful when I was a member. Plenty of machines and perks; however the sauna was ALWAYS broken. At one point it was broken for 2.5 months. At that time I was moving and canceled my membership. Back in July of 2023 filled out the paper work and all.
Not before they spent 20+ minutes of my time trying to talk me into staying. No matter what reason I gave they kept pushing me to stay or place my account on hold even offering me a cheaper membership. I expressed to them the price wasn't the issue I just wanted to cancel and go elsewhere not for any reason other than wanting a change of routine. They seemed very offended by this and became short and disinterested in anything I was asking or saying. Happily canceled my membership after that interaction.
Next thing I know I'm being called every SINGLE DAY sometimes 3 times a day and blowing me up with emails. They kept charging my account and after I spoke with a representative they apologized and said "we will make a note on this account" nothing else was said so I assumed that meant they would stop. It didn't and they kept charging me. So finally I called and made a complaint being told no upper management was available to speak to at the moment and they would “call me back when the GM was around” never heard a thing….and so I canceled my card. Since then they have still continuously called and emailed me. At this point I ignored them almost changed my number so it would just stop. They sent me notifications saying I owed them money so once again I spoke with someone at the desk informing them I already canceled months ago "they apologized once again" in a conniving vindictive way as if I had done something wrong and stated they had no record to indicate I canceled and that I would need to go into the location I originally signed with to go through the process once more but still owed money that I would need to pay before cancellation. Fist time ever hearing about a cancel fee as well as a “final bill” on top of what I owed them for the months I “didn’t pay for” even though I had already canceled months before changing my card. Unfortunately this ticked me off as I was dealing with a family member in the ICU and had no time on my hands to drive all the way to Austin to do this again nor was I going to pay all this money just to cancel my membership a second time. I informed them of this while it was clear I was pissed with them and their ignorance. They basically stated “we don’t make the rules” once I saw how many reviews were similar to mine I knew this was going to be an issue. No one responded to my email about my cancellation and how it was being handled. Now Jan 2nd 2024 I get an email stating they contacted a lawyer to collect a balance of $148. Is this a sick joke?? Is this fun for them to disregard anything they have promised and anything I have mentioned? It’s honestly downright disrespectful. I will NEVER go back to golds as I'm overwhelmed and exhausted with their lack of customer care and duties. This should not have happened especially on more then one occasion.

I like the gym, I just wish it was 24/7 or at least longer hours. Longer hours would help alleviate traffic during peak hours as well, as people could come at different times. I work nights, so it can be difficult to fit the gym in during the day. There isn’t a lot of variety in machines. Only 1 pec deck machine, which is always being used by someone. I think the floor space is not being used efficiently. The layout needs to be redone so that more machines can be added.
This gym has a lot of potential to be great, but it seems to be stifled by Golds gym not being a franchise. They should give each gym more freedom so that they can better fit the needs of their community.

I’ve worked for gyms in the past. LA Fitness as well as Genesis Health Clubs (which is the company that crushed then bought all the Golds gym locations in Kansas). That being said I understand the employee and membership experience of high quality gyms. Unfortunately this location does not provide that experience. If you take away the employee aspect of any gym, they’re all the same give or take a few amenities. In every gym I’ve ever been to or worked at, certain equipment in group studios are off limits outside of participating in a class which is highly understandable. But NEVER until tonight have I seen or worked for any gym that lets employees walk around in workout clothes telling members they can’t stretch in an empty room. I was stretching on the wall and the ShamWow guys walks in wearing blank tank top telling me I can’t be in there. Then we have this exchange of him telling me that no matter what I cant come in there and stretch when the room is not in use and can only be in there for a class. Mind you there's no signs anywhere that say this, and i read my entire membership agreement, not in there either but my membership does include "STUDIO" whatever that is because group fitness was also in my membership. After I finish my workout the shamwow guy is behind the counter. I shared with him these details and let him know that i may be found stretching there outside of class times, of course. Rather than providing any ounce of customer service he instead took my membership info down and basically told me, with extreme confidence, the manager would be calling me to let me know i cant stretch in an empty unused room. Shamwow guy last name was Lopez on his nametag I think it may have said front desk manager which surprises me that someone with -37 out of 10 customer service would ever get a promotion there.
**UPDATE** I was contacted by the gyms manager, Moses Rodriguez, today and we had a brief discussion resolving this. Due to the fact that my initial review was due to lack of customer service, I have updated the review from 1 to 4 stars, because Moses was so diplomatic and service oriented during our conversation. He assured me that all staff will be trained on this situation. Thank you Moses for being a great representative of Golds Gym

Please be careful at this gym my brother had his car stolen from this location, they went in and took his whole gym bag from a locker due to the bag policy, in the bag was his wallet and his car keys so they took his car and by the way this was only 2 days after a previous theft incident that was also not informed to the members. Mrs.Moses Rodriguez please make sure you inform your members about these thefts so others don’t go through this hardship. I’m only giving this two stars because the facility is usually clean and I had a good experience with one of their personal trainers. The staff who are usually at the front desk almost always look completely disinterested and like they have anything better to do. I don’t come often, but during my last visit, the man at the desk (I don’t know his name) walked past the machine I was using and informed me of the no bag rule, which no one had pointed out to me before. I was willing to comply, but didn’t have a lock on me, so I went to the front and I asked if they had locks or lockers with combinations. He said no like he was very annoyed and nothing else. When I asked again if there were locks I could use, he told me in a very condescending way that they had locks I could buy. Had he not responded that way, I might’ve bought one.

Amazing for body building. Great machines and equipment. But if you want a gym that’s a peaceful place to workout. This ain’t it. Music is too loud, if you are an influencer or coach you can’t film with a tripod…never seen this by the way from the countless gyms I’ve been to…even golds. If you bring a back pack they don’t let you bring it with you in the gym and set it on the floor right next to you. Again…never happens anywhere. Then I looked at the reviews on yelp and google…much more complaints than just this I guess. I hope this changes, but for now I’m out. It was strange for sure.

Edit 10/8: FOUR MONTHS, still attempting to charge me. The management is scum, trying to steal $$ from people.. DO NOT GIVE THIS FACILITY MONEY, GO TO ANYVOTHER GOLDS!!! Edit2: THREE MONTHS and stilll trying to charge me after canceling. DO NOT GIVE THIS LOCATION $$ Edit: over 2 months after canceling my membership, they are still attempting to charge me, again DO NOT SIGN UP HERE!! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY IF YOU BRING ANYTHING OF VALUE (ie phones, wallets, and/or keys) they force you to pay for a lock for lockers AND a PREMIUM level membership fee, and refuse to provide locked lockers, while they ask you to leave if you carry a bag to KEEP YOUR PERSONAL ITEMS SAFE FROM THEFT!!! I signed up yesterday, and walked out on my workout, AND canceled on my way out of the door today. If the facility is a theft risk, THEN THE PARKING LOT IS A BIGGER THEFT RISK!!! But, your membership dues aren't a part of providing a SAFE experience. Give another club your monthly dues.

Please install a small ledge in the bathroom stalls as a place to hold water bottle, phone, headphones, keys, etc. Please install a ventilation fan in the toilet area, which is fully enclosed and traps "smells." 🤢 It would be great if cardio machines came with a fan option. I have been a member at this Gold’s location for a year and a half. When I signed up I was given one free training session, which I accepted with no intention of carrying on. I did 1 work out with Harrison and have been training with him and loving it ever since! He is AMAZING!!!
3 months ago I also began attending fit/burn classes. I absolutely love the way that I learn new skills, build strength, and my coaches support me. Noami has crushed it as both a programmer and coach in these sessions, and I am SO grateful. 4/5 of the classes I attend each week are lead and programmed by Noemi and she is AMAZING in both aspects. I can’t put into words how much these classes have benefited me, physically and mentally. Chris is also always inspiring and encourages me to push harder and do more than I knew I could.
I highly recommend this gym for solo workouts, one on one training, or groups classes! Whatever is right for you, you’ll find it!

I would strongly advise people that are looking for a no frills gym to avoid this Gold's location. As their customer base grew, they haven't done anything to mitigate the congestion other than put some racks outside. There are rooms full of racks/equipment (inside) that aren't accessible and aren't being used 75% of the time. These rooms are for classes only.
This gym also isn't open late or 24 hours. When I spoke with a manager about the fact that these are constant complaints and that they have seemed to hire more staff instead of possibly shifting hours or getting more equipment, I was told this is what we get. This gym is more geared towards senior citizens or people that would like to take group classes. All equipment for regular attendees and those attendees included are second priority.

Music is WAY WAY WAY too loud here. When you come through the front door you’ll get blasted with a noise level that’s extremely unsettling for 5am. Why?!?Why must they play it so loud?! Even with my headphones on I can’t drown this “concert” out while I “try” to enjoy my workout, it’s that bothersome. As stated in previous reviews, equipment and facility in general is lovely, wonderful, new, all those things; however it is definitely limited. You will always be waiting for what you want to use, it seems. No one’s fault, really, they just need more machines, truly. I really liked this gym when it first opened because it was closer to my house. Based on these two factors, (noise and wait) I now only come here when my time in the morning is limited, otherwise I do avoid. Gold’s Corporate, I do hope you’re reading these reviews, a lot of consistency in them from many of us in this neighborhood. Thank you.

All gyms during peak hours can be rough but even during off hours, this place is busier than others. I’m thinking the reason is because the alternative Gold’s in the area(E. I’ve been a member at Golds gym for 10 years and in all of time here I’ve never been treated with such disrespect until i encounter the front desk staff here. I’ve been to this location a couple of times as well. I walked in and scanned my badge I have the golds plan which when I got it I was told I have access to all the golds gyms however when I walked in they told me that this gym was only for members with access to level 3 membership. I was baffled when I heard this because I was never notified by Golds and the front desk swear they sent a email and I checked all of my emails from golds none of them mentioned it and not only that one of the front desk lady was being very snobby about it when I explain my disappointment about this because it’s not the policy I am upset with even though I don’t agree with it, it’s that I was never notified about it and then one of the front desk lady gives me attitude through her body language unacceptable. To through even more salt on the womb they were like well you can stay sense you didn’t know and the way they said it was snobby like well we will allow you to be one of us today and I was like no thank you! I will go to another gym that will accept me sense I’m not level 3 access and they thought when I said that I wanted to cancel my membership hahahahhaa. The addition of the outdoor equipment has helped make rush hours a lot more manageable. Hopefully they add some dumbbells and squat racks to the outdoor area. Overall a decent spot!

Let me first start out by saying the staff here is friendly and will often do what they can to accommodate. However, the equipment here is extremely limited and the facility is often over crowded. This is also the first time I’ve experienced a gym refusing to let their paying customers use their cycle studio without an active class. I would understand if they had bikes available outside of the studio for use but they don’t. Is this an insurance issue or liability that the gym refuses to own? Please someone explain it to me. Thanks in advance.

Although a relatively clean gym, there is no real off peak time. You will spend more time waiting for a machine than working out. Once you find a machine, you will be bombarded by guys asking how much longer you will be or asking to cut in. Embarrassing small for the size of the crowd that uses it.
