I worked with Zach and the experience was top notch. He was able to get me to break some bad habits, make much better contact, increased average distance with my irons by about 10 to 15 yards compared to how I was hitting from our first lesson. Additionally, I'm able to feel what a good hit feels like and where I'm messing up when I do. I'm able to intentionally shot shape. Finally, the camera doesn't lie. Getting the one on one with video footage was immensely helpful. I'd recommend lessons for anyone on the fence.

I had the pleasure of taking a golf lessons at GolfTec Baybrook for a little over two years now with Zach Furr, and I can confidently say it is an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish.

Like teeing up on the first hole, I was a bit nervous before the lesson, but Zach immediately put me at ease with his friendly demeanor and expert knowledge.

From the moment we began, it was clear that Zach had a deep passion for golf and a genuine desire to help me improve. He tailored my lessons to my skill level, patiently explaining each aspect of the game and offering practical tips that were easy to understand and apply. His teaching style struck the perfect balance between technical guidance and keeping things fun and enjoyable.

Trying to change my swing completely to emulate a pro didn't work for me. There is a reason all pros swing differently. I would have preferred my swing was tweaked for consistency. I came out of it less confident, overthinking, and a worse golfer.

I was initially reticent about going to GolfTEC, I knew I needed lessons, I had been a YouTube warrior and watched everything concerning golf and was convinced that I just needed to keep practicing all of the things that I had watched. I had been swatting at the ball for about 10 years and was actually getting worse. There are several instructors at the Baybrook Mall area, and having time to sit around after showing up 10 to 15 minutes early, I have come to the conclusion that they are all competent and good golf coaches. I was paired up with Zach, it turned out to be an excellent fit for me and having served in the military for 22 years, I just needed somebody who was quick to the point and who could explain concepts in a very simple way. Zach works on one or two things at a time and doesn't overload you with an entire cadre of information. The results have been outstanding, and I would highly recommend anyone to seriously consider taking golf lessons with GolfTEC.

Pros: Well coached instructors, cutting edge technology that will show you everything you could ever want to know about every aspect of your golf swing. Un hurried. The facility with technology is available for practice sessions with certain package purchases. The ability to be able to review your lessons including video of before and after swings, full lesson plan, comments from your coach, and the inclusion of additional drills are extremely helpful to review. There is a significant amount of effort put into the development of the lesson plan. I can't stress enough that you receive cutting edge technology, were you don't have to visualize what your instructor/coach is saying to you about your swing but you can see it for yourself. It is an extremely helpful tool to further your understanding of what you need to work on.

Cons: You have to practice between lessons or you will be waisting your money and time, remember human nature compels professionals to have success, the golf coaches/Instructors at Golf Tech want you to succeed in your goals, they want to see improvement. If you don't have time to practice between lessons, or you're not really committed and devoted to improving your golf swing and golf game in general, then lessons are going to produce minimum results.

I'm taking lessons from Erin. I'm very impressed with her clear and concise teaching methods. She can quickly diagnose what needs to be fixed in my swing and she explains what should be done to improve my swing. I love the instant feedback from seeing the flight path of the ball on video. The Baybrook staff are all nice and professional and are eager to help me. I highly recommend taking lessons from Erin if you want to improve your game. I've already experienced wonderful improvements in my first lesson.

I drove 30 miles for a golf lesson. Upon arrival I find out that the scheduled day and time I had set was not even put in the book. Not only that, but the instructor "Barry" was off that day. I had planned on getting fit at Golftec for an entire set of clubs, including new shafts. Thats not going to happen now. I'll find a more professional company to use.

Seeing is believing. Their video playback system is awesome and allows you to quickly review every swing in slow motion. It's some of the best practice you can do. And the instructors are professional, friendly, and fun to work with. You can tell that they are genuinely interested in helping you improve. I've recommended GolfTec to several of my friends and they've joined up as well.

I've been working on my golf game with Michael Finney, the lead instructor at Golftec Baybrook, for over a year now. When I first walked into Golftec last year, I was struggling mightily with my game - as I had stepped away from golf for about 9 years to pursue other educational endeavors - and I was determined to "get it right." During my time at Golftec over the last year, I have seen significant improvement in my swing and scores and have also acquired knowledge about the game of golf that will surely propel my game forward for years to come. Michael is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the game of golf and cares deeply about his students. He is willing to do whatever it takes to get you where you want to be with your game and is readily available to help whenever you need him. I am proud to call Michael my coach and friend and plan to continue to my golf instruction at Golftec. As for the other instructors at the Baybrook location, I highly recommend them as well. I've heard may stories from other students about the improvement they've seen while working with Bobby Vickers and Brandon Boggs. Overall, if you're serious about improving your golf game, go to this Golftec.

I decided I needed new equipment to regain some lost distance off the tee and with my irons. I scheduled a full bag fitting online. Bobby Vickers called me within an hour to discuss my needs and confirm a time. He suggested we split the fitting into two sessions which was a good recommendation as I was getting tired by the end of each session. The tecfit process was just as layed out on the website. Bobby was very knowledgeable and tuned the equipment to give me the best results. I enjoyed the club fitting process and never felt pressured to select a particular make or model of club. I purchased a driver and a set of irons which were delivered to golftec in about 5 days.

I made the decision this May to start playing golf and wanted to improve fast. Golftec has absolutely helped me achieve that goal. Mike Finney has helped me go from not knowing how to hold a golf club to consistently hitting the ball straighter and farther than many of my friends who have been playing for years. Each thirty-minute lesson corrects something that would take several years to fix without formal coaching.
