Just took Roland's dance class and Jaleesa's workout class. Jaleesa's class was TOUGH (a sweat fest), but I really felt like I was challenging myself. Roland's class was a great workout and just pure fun. He has amazing energy. Can't recommend GRIT enough!

Elizabeth's gentle demeanor serves as a in invitation to surrender to the practice and turn inward. Her gentle approach allows one experience peace while releasing physical tension. Destiny’s dance club cardio classes has always been my favorite. She brings contagious energy and enthusiasm to her classes. Her classes made me feel empowered. I’ve become more comfortable and confident in my skin as a result.
Also, I really enjoy Antoine “I am lifted” class. I’m a Bootcamp girlie through and through that wants to lift heavy and get stronger. Great coaching and technical instruction.

Dropped in to see if studio/students reflected that of the website and it did not disappoint. Cute, clean and modern look to the studio. Students-all shapes, ages, backgrounds and fitness levels. GRIT has made me love to workout. It’s part of my routine now to go to one or two classes almost everyday. My favorite combo is 30 min rev cycle then 30 min pure strength. It’s a full body work out and cardio and I’m out within an hour. I’m also loving the step classes recently. The instructors are all incredible and promote a welcoming community that I’m so grateful for!!!

A year and a half ago, I moved to Dallas and had a very hard time getting into a consistent fitness routine. In the summer of last year, I discovered GRIT Fitness and it was a game changer! The class variety is very unique and allows me to create a well rounded fitness routine that I love. Some of my favorite classes are dance club cardio and pure strength, but they all are great. I randomly came across GRIT and decided to give the 2 week deal a try. From the moment I walked in the door the staff was so welcoming! I love the environment and variety of classes offered. My first class was Dance cardio and Destiny was AMAZING!! Each class I tried during that 2 week trial really helped motivate me to get back in the groove. GRIT is the postpartum boost I needed!! I recommend the power tower class if you haven’t taken it. Good for beginners and more advance. You can get lighter or heavier weights based on your level.

I’ve been a member of Grit for years now. I’m shocked I’ve kept the habit- but it’s because of this studio. The instructors are incredible, and the classes are full of women empowering and encouraging each other. I attend morning classes, and it brings a light to my morning. Even if I don’t feel great going into class, by the time I leave I feel ready to conquer the day!

I LOVE Grit Fitness. I’m a former professional dancer and I’ve had to step away from dancing because of how hard it can be on my body. I found Grit Fitness because they have dance cardio classes which are so much fun. But I’ve stayed at Grit because of the variety of classes with weight lifting, cycling, slow stretch, power tower, and so much more. The teachers are all so nice and they have monthly challenges that motivate you to not only show up for yourself but for the fun prizes. GRIT is my favorite gym ever!! SO much so, that I continue to be a dedicated virtual member even as I now live in Austin.
Their energy is so positive and supportive--you are encouraged to challenge and strengthen your body, and I also love that they encourage you to listen to your body and make modifications available to make things accessible! I have had a rollercoaster relationship with working out and with my body, but GRIT has strengthened my relationship with myself and helped me see fitness as not just an aesthetic goal, but a mental health priority and lifestyle! I can't say enough about their energy, vibe, and the variety of classes--I never get bored! I come to the studio as a guest with my sister anytime I am in town--GRIT has made fitness into something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to! I am so thankful to them in so many ways. Being a virtual member has really been the cornerstone of my mental health during this pandemic.
I also feel safe in that you wear a mask most of the time in the studio until you get to your designated spot.

Things that make me happy: Grit is a minority owned local business. The challenges are fun and motivating.
Things that make me sad: You have to bring your own towels and clean up your equipment. I was once charged for a missed class even though I was there. They fixed it, but it was inconvenient. It’s also not always sparkling clean. They should run a Roomba at night to pick up some of the dust and “grit” on the floors. (Pun intended)
Things that make me meh: the “rah rah” girl power vibe/the weird step at the end of the ramp near the parking lot at Design that I tripped on and lost both my dignity and full use of my ankle.

The Design!! I have tried all 3 locations and all are amazing I live in Addison but work in downtown Dallas which I’m only 4 mins away from the design they have showers so after work out I hit the shower and go to work it’s amazing and I would totally check it out!! You wouldn’t be disappointed!!

Love this gym! I first came to this gym after purchasing a Groupon over 2 years ago and instantly was hooked. With the variety of classes they offer you will never get bored of working out. GRIT fitness is the best! I really can't say enough about how phenomenal this place is. I tried it out with a temporary pass when I first moved to Dallas 3 years ago. The front desk staff are so friendly and welcoming, and after a couple of REV spin classes I was hooked! The instructors are very motivating, they make the workout challenging, but always offer modifications, the workouts are constantly fresh and new. The other members are inspiring, and we keep each other going even when things get tough. There are so many class formats, there really is something for everyone.
When the pandemic hit, GRIT (seemingly) seamlessly pivoted to virtual to make sure everyone was staying on track with their fitness in creative ways. I have continued virtual for the time being and couldn't be more thankful for Brit and the Gritfam during this stressful time.

From the moment you walk into those doors you can forget about the fact that you're in a gym, but instead you will always feel like you are reuniting with your best gal pals. You may be doing hard stuff together, but oftentimes it's so fun that you will forget it was a workout. The staff here really cares to get to know you, you are not a one and done transaction to the instructors here, you are someone who's progress matters to them! This past July, I signed up for a 20 day promotional offer, I was just looking to try something new. I had never worked out regularly before, nor attended a gym. I absolutely love GRIT. It is a fitness studio that truly fosters a sense of community. You're welcomed to the studio every time time by someone who knows your name. Each class begins by getting to know the name of your neighbor. The instructors always offer modifications that don't make you feel like less than or weaker for not being able to do the full move. I also really like that it is a diverse studio. Women from all backgrounds (racial, careers, fitness levels, etc) come together to work hard for 30-60 minutes. I have always felt challenged to do my best. The women of GRIT truly are the strongest women in Dallas.

LOVE this place. I have tried a lot of gyms/studios in Dallas and I have to say that this is the most fun and welcoming gym I have ever been to. They have a ton of variety so whether you’re into yoga, cycling, weight training or even boxing, they have a class for you. There are 3 studios in the Dallas area and have morning, mid day and evening classes to suit any schedule. 💪🏽
