Nice clean gym, great equipment and layout. You can tell it was put together thoughtfully by someone who knows the life. Subtracted two stars for two reasons.

1. The price point is a bit high, while I can easily afford it, I can't exactly justify paying $180 monthly when I pay $69 at my current gym for the whole family.

2. The owners only seem interested in attracting wealthier folk to their gym, not people outside their circle. Which is completely fine but I'd rather not give my money to people that look down on others or that have a god complex.

I love this gym. The staff is always kind and welcoming. I also im not a hard-core body builder, but ive never had anyone treat me negatively about it. It is very different from other gyms i have been to in lubbock. Everyone has been kind and considerate for the 3 years ive been here. I love the variety and quality of equipment as well as the 2nd story cardio selection with a view. I also bring my son with me, he really has a great time working out here. As bonus for me, the owners are super friendly and helpful. They always seems to be very involved with the members and support the community. What a culture indeed, great work guys!

I was initially excited about joining this gym, but my experience with the front desk staff (Noah) was disappointing. He was unprofessional, followed me and my sister during our workout, and made us feel very uncomfortable. My sister had purchased a day pass and I was using the 7-day pass, yet instead of being treated like guest & feeling welcomed, we felt unwelcome and watched. Unfortunately, this left me with a negative impression, and I would suggest considering other gyms.

I love gym culture! It's always clean and hardly ever crowded.The staff is friendly and its just a great place to workout. I moved to Dallas so I had to end my membership but I came back for a few weeks and got a week pass and forgot how much I loved it.

Gym Culture has everything you want and they want you there!! I love everything about this place! My kids have fun- they always have 2-3 teachers in there and I never worry my kids will be unsafe. You’ll pay more for other boutique gyms that don’t offer any childcare!

The group fitness classes can’t be beat- the educated and encouraging instructors, studio atmosphere, variety of classes and times can satisfy any busy schedule!

The cardio loft is cool and the entire gym is clean and spacious! I enjoy the sauna and vibration plates too!

Fantastic gym. I just moved to Lubbock and got a tour and day pass to see if this is the right gym for me. Randy was working the front desk and was super helpful with a tour. I loved this gym. I was in town for a couple of weeks working. The gym goers were very welcoming and friendly to me. The staff were kind and helpful. The price was affordable for a week drop in, if you don’t slack you easily get your moneys worth. The facilities are clean and everything you could ask for.
If I lived in Lubbock, this would be my gym of choice. The clients had nothing but good things to say about the coaching staff there.
10/10 would recommend.

We just moved here from Fort Worth and were used to the metroplex gym options, but this place in Lubbock truly stands out! We absolutely love it. The equipment is top-notch, and having an infrared sauna in both locker rooms is a fantastic bonus. The staff is also exceptional, making the whole experience even better. Nothing else compares in the Lubbock area! Worth every penny!

During my visit, Randy, one of the staff members, warmly welcomed me and gave me a thorough tour of the facilities. New to Lubbock and I’ve been beyond impressed with this gym. I moved here from San Antonio and had been doing private training the last few years because I was tired of overcrowded gyms with weirdo dudes…this place is nothing like that. Never too crowded and everyone is super respectful. Also love they have a water softener and water filtration system so if you need to shower there it won’t destroy your hair/skin.
Also, the staff is so nice. Marissa at the front desk is always smiling and friendly, so glad I found this place.

I joined Gym Culture in November and originally had no issues. I do wish that they would extend their hours a bit to accommodate for those who work later hours. However, recently I’ve found that some, not all, of the staff will totally ignore members as we’re walking in and out. For paying $180 a month, I would expect stellar customer service. Most of the staff is great but there have been more than a handful of times where there is a group of people chit chatting at the front. Extremely disappointed, especially if you have a question or need to checkout.

After looking at the prices online, this gym is very expensive compared to the rest; however, I don’t mind paying for a good quality gym. The issue is if I am going to pay as much for a membership, I would like to try the gym out first. It costs $20 for a one day pass. That is where I think it is ridiculous. If I have to pay $20 for a guest pass, at the very least make it a 3-5 day pass. But for one day? It’s only my opinion, but I feel that is unreasonable.

Hands down the best gym in West Tx I can assure you. The facility is very clean as I know first hand each team member takes pride in the cleanliness. The machines, classes, Kids Culture, group fitness classes are all one of a kind! I moved towns and it has been a struggle to find a gym as top notch as Gym Culture. My girls always beg to go back as they loved Kids Culture & all of the team members who looked after them. Highly recommend this gym to anyone and all fitness levels.

I never knew I could feel so at home at a gym! Gym Culture is my happy place. Every class I’ve completed, I have felt attentive to, pushed to reach a goal, and respected if modifications are needed. Every instructor is experienced and is extremely thoughtful in their class preparations. The facility is kept clean and houses top notch equipment. I was in town for the week.

Even though I called the day before asking for them to switch the sauna on first thing in the morning after I spoke to Marquees the next day the sauna was colder even at 5am.

The scale in the men’s locker is off by 7–10 pounds .

I was bringing in my own scale, and I asked if I could keep my scale in the locker since their scale is broken .

They said that would be a $10 fee

I am loving Gym Culture! I have been a member since they opened. I am a mom of 3 and the childcare is exceptional! My daughter frequently gets me to the gym more often because SHE wants to go! The classes are my favorite. A large variety of workouts offered at different times of day. The schedule doesn't change often so you are able to improve with the same instructor at the same time every week!

I wanted to love this place since it is so convenient (geographically) for me. The facilities are nice. However, one of the owners, who also owns a supplement and clothing line, publicly shames women who do not conform to her ideology and extreme beliefs around the topics of medicine and breastfeeding. I know, I know—this is strange. She loves to dish out backhanded digs to females who decide to formula feed, use birth control, need modern medicine or decide not to have children. She even suggested women who develop breast cancer did so because they did not lead a healthy lifestyle and didn’t breastfeed. If anyone disagrees with her assessment, the immediate response is they (the person or persons countering her argument) are not educated. This is not a welcoming environment for women. I’ll go back to driving a little further to avoid such a toxic environment.
UPDATE: I kindly ask the ownership the My Gym Culture Lubbock to stop attempting to get me to change my response or have my review removed. Several other negative reviews about this business, yet my feedback is the only one to dated targeted. In other news, the person I spoke of in the above review slammed a woman (a pharmacist at that) who politely challenged her breastfeeding/breast cancer incorrect correlation. There are 21 reviews, some of which are also negative, of this business yet mine is the ONLY one that elicits a response the owner. Interesting . . . the saga continues.

Best gym in Lubbock. Me and my wife have gone to a few different gyms looking for somewhere with a great kids daycare and this place is it. They have treated our 10 month old like he is part of their family.

I love the gym, although it’s more than that. I’m not best friends with any of the staff and I’m not writing this based off some inner circle trying to help anyone out I love this gym and it deserves to be said.

If you’re looking for a mundane cheap gym to “do the job” go to crunch.

This gym is for people who are looking for their pro cards or serious athlete’s. It’s set above the rest while remaining extremely professional and family friendly. It’s just high quality and I I’ve been waiting for Lubbock to get a real gym that doesn’t have weirdos or a puffy haircut yoga session at every machine from high school kids who take up too much equipment who aren’t as serious as people who are really digging deep trying to push themselves to a higher level.

Me and My GymBro went bc your allowed one free day to try it out and see if you like it bc we thought that a 85 dollar membership was to much and with a decent Price tag we wanted to know why but the atmosphere and Lighting felt really nice and as a person who’s been in plenty of Gyms around town and in other places in Texas for the past 3 years I can say that when you walk into a gym they usually have 1 “hidden gem” when it comes to their selection in machines and Equipment this place must be Gem mine every machine you would consider “rare” they have it there are few things that I couldn’t do there and on top of that it wasn’t bad Equipment either Top of the line Machines Me and my Friend are now figuring out how to cancel our current memberships and make the Switch to Gym Culture
